Good morning!

House GOP Committee Chairs Will All Be White Men In Next Congress

WASHINGTON — House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) announced who will chair all of the major House committees in the next Congress. And it turns out they all have something in common besides party affiliation: they’re all white men.

There isn’t a single woman or minority included in the mix of 19 House committee chairs announced Tuesday – a stark reality for a party desperate to appeal to women and minorities after both groups overwhelmingly rejected Republicans just weeks ago in the presidential election. The one female committee chair that House Republicans currently have, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), is stepping down because her term is up. While there are still two lower-tier House committees awaiting a chair assignment — the Ethics Committee and House Administration — neither committee has any women or minority members.

At least one Senate Democrat was quick to point out that something is missing from the Republican lineup.

“Disappointed to see House committee chairmanships in the 113th Congress will not include a single woman. -PM,” tweeted Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.), who included a link to Boehner’s press release announcing the chair posts.

A House Republican leadership aide declined to comment on the lack of diversity in the party’s committee leadership. The aide noted, though, that GOP leaders just put four women in party leadership. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash) is the new House Republican Conference Chair, Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-Kansas) is conference vice chair, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) is conference secretary, and Rep.-elect Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) will represent freshman members in party leadership.

To be fair, House committee chairs are typically chosen based on their seniority on the committee, and most committees don’t have Republican women or minorities at senior levels. In addition, there just aren’t that many House Republican women and minorities to go around. In the 113th Congress, which kicks off in January, House Republicans will have 20 women in their camp, compared to 61 House Democratic women. You can count on two hands the number of House Republicans who are minorities. By contrast, in the new Congress, the House Democratic Caucus will have a majority of women and minorities for the first time in history.

Still, that doesn’t mean Republican leaders couldn’t have picked at least one woman or minority for a committee leadership post. Rep. Candice Miller (R-Mich.), who is currently eighth in seniority on the House Homeland Security Committee, had a decent shot at taking over that committee. Instead, the chair post went to Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), who is ranked fifth in seniority.

House Democratic leaders haven’t announced who will be the ranking Democrats on each of the committees, but they clearly dominate on the diversity front. Out of the 19 major House committees, as many as nine of the ranking Democrats are expected to be a woman or a minority. Among the more powerful posts: Either Rep. Nita Lowey (N.Y.) or Marcy Kaptur (Ohio) is poised to take the top Democratic slot on the Appropriations Committee, Rep. Maxine Waters (Calif.) is expected to be the ranking Democrat on Financial Services and Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), who is African-American, who will keep his top slot on Judiciary.

A senior Democratic aide reveled in the fact that Republicans can’t seem to figure out how to diversify.

“One would think House Republicans would learn from their mistakes. But they have elected a roster of committee chairs that represent their ranks: old white men,” the aide said.

Boehner announced his new chairmen after the House Republican Steering Committee met behind closed doors for most of Tuesday. Most committees will keep the same chairs they already have, but more than half a dozen will get new leaders: In addition to McCaul’s new post, Rep. Jeb Hensarling (Texas) will now chair Financial Services, Rep. Ed Royce (Calif.) will lead Foreign Affairs, Rep. Bob Goodlatte (Va.) will chair Judiciary, Rep. Pete Sessions (Texas) will chair Rules, Rep. Lamar Smith (Texas) will lead Science, Space, and Technology, and Rep. Bill Shuster (Pa) will head up Transportation and Infrastructure.

House committee chairs are term-limited, so all of the new chairmen are replacing someone who had to step down. Still, one lawmaker obtained a waiver to go around House rules and stay on as committee chair in the next Congress, despite his term being up: Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) will remain atop the House Budget Committee.

As some readers have noted, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is of Arab descent; his paternal grandparents were Lebanese immigrants.

Hey, be glad the Republicans even let women run for Congress!

  2. Barbara Says:

Doesn’t matter who gets sent to congress when the old boys club keeps a firm grasp on power.

  3. Angel Says:

Isn’t President Obama also a man? What does that mean?
Should we have voted for Hillary in 2008? Can Hillary balance a budget?

  4. Karen Says:

For republicans, the women… I mean, the gals… are just keeping the seats warm until they can get a real (male) republican elected.

  5. James Says:

Wake up you crazy bitches. The Republicans didn’t pick by gender they picked by competence. If the more competent was a male they picked a male.

As we’ve seen with the entirety of the MESS Obama calls a “cabinet,” from Jan “Big Sis” Nappy to the EPA chief, it’s time for competence, NOT “gender politics,” {or race} politics – the specialty of the disaster called the “National Socialist Democrat Union Workers Party,” aka the “DAZIS.”

  7. Mimi Says:

who cares? racial and sexual bean counting is so yesterday

  8. Karen Says:

Angel #3, Ummmm…. yes, he is. That means he is comfortable having powerful women work with and for him.

That means he appoints two women to the Supreme Court. He appoints a woman to be Secretary of State. He appoints a woman to be the UN ambassador.

He married a woman who is probably smarter than himself, and has no problem letting people know that.

    What is your point?

  9. Ike Says:

Will you Dems lighten up. Be glad the GOP overwhelmingly pushed to give women the right to vote and freed the blacks.

If Dems had their way, blacks still would be shackled in the fields instead of presiding over the White House, and women would be scrubbing floors for their abusive, alcoholic hubbies. But, that counts as “progress” for Dems.

  10. An Independent Says:

I’m sick of the constant labeling — what’s in their pants, what color is their skin, do they like to sleep with boys or girls, American hyphen this and that. Enough already.

Both Pelosi and Reid are complete morons, but not because of what’s between their legs — it’s their brains that are the problems. Same with Republicans.

All politicans are a joke now. I think the last two nominations to the Supreme Court were soley based on their sex, not their qualifications. Let’s stop it already.

  11. Ike Says:

Karen, Obviously, Angel’s point is only sexist bigots have a problem with men chairing House committees.

After all, it’s incredibly sexist and bigoted to suggest men are inferior than women simply because they are men or even to suggest it is wrong for men to lead committees — even all of them.

  12. Jim Says:

Good! This country went downhill starting right after women got the vote.

If you think women make good decisions, take one to the race track, sometime. Try to keep your lunch down when she says, “Ooooh! There’s a pretty one!”

  13. Mike Says:

Why is the country so hung up on factions now? All we heard out of the election and the post election blather is pandering to one group or another.

How about thinking as AMERICANS and what’s best for the country instead of just what’s best for our gender, our ethnicity, our sexual preference, our religion, etc?

How about voting based on what’s best for the nation too instead of just gathering acorns into our own group’s tree?

Michelle, this article just furthers the division and factionalizing of America into groups. This isn’t healthy for the country or its unity. So what if all the House Committee Chairs are men?

Does this really impact anyone’s life for the negative? But pitting women against men, whites against blacks or Hispanics. gays against straights, does impact us all negatively if the result is we become a factionalized country.

  14. Brittany Says:

Has anyone noticed that as long as white men are getting the top jobs they write in with this “why be concerned about the gender or race of the person who gets the job” sanctimonious bullshit. But if they get passed over, they head to the SCOTUS for help.

Ike, no one has anything with men charing committees, But this is country made up of more than just men. It is at least 50% women. Women SHOULD be represented on any committee that will determine their station in the country. Only a white male used to being the only race and sex determining the fate of others would even think it would be a concern(not counting the dumb as a box of rocks air heads like Angel and mimi, of course).

Look what happened to the country when we tried that at POTUS. It took more than 200 years to get health care for the country. We were the ONLY industrialized country on the planet that didn’t provide some form of national health care for its citizens.

That along should tell you how fatal to allow only white men to run anything. But when you add in that President 44 also equalized rights for Gays, Lesbians, Immigrants, etc and I don’t have time to name all the other achievements this ONE OTW has done that could not nor would have been done by another white man at the helm.

Even my white father says demeaningly “that boy is something else,” because he recognizes that his gay son can now serve openly in the military because of “that boy’s” courage and leadership.

An as for the “Independent” being “sick of the constant labeling,” undoubtedly he too is a white privileged male, seeing the world narcissistically through his own selfish lens.

White men shut your pie holes. No longer will the rest of the nation sit idly by and allow only white men to determine our destinies.

    Brittany

  15. Sam Says:

Who cares? Must mean they don’t use affirmative action to appoint committee chairs, must be nice.

  16. Lewis Says:

I just love it when the party of Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton says that Republicans are unfair to women!

  17. Skip Says:

The monkey’s cabinet is 70 percent jewish and the remaining 30 percent is non white or non male.

  18. Howard Says:

Imagine judging someone’s job qualifications based on their sex. Oh wait, that is precisely what liberals do. I wish all liberals would just shrivel up and die like the wicked witches they are.

  19. Danny Says:

    Hmmm…

I read all the way through this story looking for some actual news.

The leaders of the committees in the Republican dominated U.S. House are also all… Republicans.

    So what?

is it supposed to be some earthshaking development that House members chose the most senior and connected members of the party that leads the House to chair its committees?

….instead of bypassing them in some kind of affirmative action game?

    Silly, manufactured story.

  20. Kevin Says:

And the attack on white men continues

  21. Gath Says:

We need to elect only blacks and women; otherwise someone might question what qualifications they might have. Blacks and women don’t need no stinkin qualifications

  22. John Says:

Gender and race trump all things with libs.

  23. Wally Says:

So? Evidently the democrats are as dumb now as they have been since FDR grabbed them by the nose and made them follw Stalin! Pathetic stupid lib schmucks!

  24. Victor Says:

Best person, most senior person for the job.

Conservatives take a blind eye to race/sex/age/religion

  25. Larry Says:

In an era where any criticism of minority officials brings charges of racism or sexism, perhaps having officials who can actually be held accountable for their actions isn’t such a bad thing.

  26. Cal Says:

Sorry to sound so jaded, but seeing this headline pop up next to other stories about Rice-Benghazi makes me think Politico is feeding the Dem narrative of a racist-misogynist witchhunt. Rather than a spokesmouth who loyally went out and lied for the team. I wish people would focus their anger on the handlers that told Rice what to say. It’s nobody else’s fault that she couldn’t go up and say, “we are not sure who instigated the attack.” Take heat for not being willing to say, rather than making up sh@t about a lame movie.

Or is that single moment in time that you just discovered that Congress doesn’t yet represent the actual percentages of gender in the country. Hope you don’t have turnip stains all over ya.

  27. Ellen Says:

Kevin – “And the attack on white men continues”

    WhiteMan
    **********************************

White yes, men no. It takes a lot more to being a man than just being white. Character would be one good example. The

Republican party has reduced itself to a snowball. All white, all cold and rapidly melting.

  28. Dave Says:

    oh, no!

    who cares?

i see no reason this is even a topic of discussion…

it’s about timing, and right now, it ain’t their turn: simple as that

  29. Claire Says:

Outstanding observations, white men. And these female politicians, from Hillary and Pelosi and Fiendstein to Patricia Schroeder and Marcie Kaptur and Debbie ^^&#$%@-Schultz operate on the same basis.

Plus they are vicious and ruthless beyond belief and will lie to your face while–somehow–simultaneously pi$$ing in your boot.

Some of those characteristics were beneficial when they were running taut ships as housewives and mothers, but now that they choose to bring them to politics suddenly they undermine and destroy the culture.

Dedicated, capable, brilliant women in science and the arts and teaching, or taking care of the white man’s children? Yay! In politics? Nay!

  30. Tom Says:

Boehner isn’t just tone deaf he’s absolutely friggin BLIND to the world we live in today!!! (And I’m a Republican!)

Between him and McConnell we are….to put it mildly…..SOOOOOO SCREWED.

Control the message or lose the country.

November 6th is only the beginning if Boehner and McConnell don’t put country above self and let new leadership in.

  31. Health Info Says:

Take Charge of Your Anger to Protect Your Health

It can contribute to stroke, stomach problems and more.

All you have to do is pick up a newspaper or go online to read a story about the many ways that poorly managed anger ruins lives—in schools, offices, relationships and more.

Every week, I treat patients who simply “can’t” control their anger. These are usually good, caring people, but their inability to handle their intense feelings of anger hurts their relationships, their ability to work effectively—and their health.

What anger does to your body and effective ways to defuse it…

    YOUR BODY ON ANGER

In small doses, anger can be a helpful emotion—it signals to you and others that important needs are not being met. Perhaps you’ve been lied to by a loved one or feel overburdened by demands from the family.

If you can learn to manage your irate feelings, you can use them as energy to solve problems. For instance, if you see a neighbor illegally burning leaves, instead of starting an argument, you can remain calm and educate him/her about safer ways to dispose of his trash.

However, if you’re not able to effectively manage anger, it can blaze out of control. When this happens, you feel threatened, and the primitive fight-or-flight response kicks in to prepare your body mentally and physically for survival.

Without conscious thought, adrenaline is released, shoulders tense, the heart beats faster and blood rushes to the face, all of which can have a negative impact on your health.

    Anger can contribute to…
    • Heart attack and stroke. Anger increases your heart rate and blood pressure, raising the risk of developing coronary heart disease (or suffering further complications if you already have it). Because of the fight-or-flight response, your red blood cells become more “sticky” (to increase clotting ability in case you are injured), while your liver releases more fats into your blood (for muscles to burn)—both of which increase odds of a cardiac event.

    • Stomach problems. When you’re fuming, blood from your stomach and gastrointestinal (GI) system is diverted to your brain and muscles, which can contribute to stomach upset, acid reflux, nausea, changes in bowel and urination frequency and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

    • Muscle tension. Your muscles tighten in a state of anger—they become poised to help you “fight” or “flee” from the situation. The shoulders, neck, forehead and jaw are all typical hot spots. As anger
continues, soreness or musculoskeletal pain may occur.

    • Breathing issues. When you’re feeling outraged, respiration speeds up in an effort to deliver blood to the brain and muscles, resulting in shallow breathing and sensations of chest heaviness and throat constriction.

Also, blood vessels in the face, hands and elsewhere constrict during anger. Your face and neck might feel flushed or warm (“hot under the collar”) or may even look bright red.

    ANGER MANAGEMENT
If you experience any of these effects, anger is likely impacting your health in a negative way. Besides the symptoms mentioned above, you may notice that you are constantly on edge and have trouble relaxing. You also could have little energy, and the simplest activity might seem overwhelming.

But, if you’re aware of your anger being triggered, you can effectively manage it to help prevent harmful automatic responses from happening and harming your health.

The following techniques will build your self-awareness and help you better manage your anger by promoting deep relaxation. Do them when you first notice signs of anger in your body. The first step for each technique is to sit down, lean back and let the chair support your back.

    • Deep breathing. Relax your stomach muscles and breathe in through your nose, allowing your lungs to completely fill with air and expand into the abdominal area. Exhale very slowly through your pursed lips, as if you were letting air out of a small valve. As you exhale, silently count backward from 10 to one, which helps distract you from thoughts of anger.

Doing this can help you feel calm and secure. Many people are so used to shallow chest breathing that this may feel odd at first. It becomes more natural with practice. About 15 minutes before bedtime, practice deep breathing for three to five minutes, so you can use it as needed. It also helps promote deep sleep.

    • Progressive muscle relaxation.* Starting with your fists, begin tensing specific muscle groups (in the forearms, shoulders and legs, for example) for 10 to 15 seconds each.

Tense each group until it’s quivering. Take a small breath toward the end of the tensing period, then release your breath and the tension. Repeat, then move on to the next muscle group.

Muscle relaxation helps make you aware of when your muscles are tensing and gives you a simple way to relax them. Do this exercise for at least 15 minutes once each day for the first two weeks. Then use when needed.

Time to get help? If you have extreme fight-or-flight symptoms, are getting angry more often or if others are complaining about your temper, seek professional help. Visit the American Psychological Association at http://Locator.APA.org to find an anger-management expert.

3 SMART WAYS TO DEFUSE ANGER…

    • Sit down! Your brain interprets a seated or reclining position as safe and relaxing, interrupting the flow of anger-enhancing adrenaline. The next time you’re in an argument, get yourself (and the other person) to sit down. Say something like, “Let’s sit and discuss this.” If you’re already sitting down when angered, try leaning back and relaxing your muscles.

    • Never go to bed angry. Research proves that the old saying is right! A recent study found that hitting the sack after having negative emotions appears to reinforce them. Try to resolve disagreements before saying good night.

    • Become an observer. The next time your blood boils, step back and view the situation from a distance. Evaluate how angry you are on a scale of 0 to 100. Then project what may happen if you don’t lower that figure by using some of the techniques here. This will help you remain calm.

*If you have a muscle disorder or chronic pain, check with your doctor before starting this technique as it could worsen these conditions.

  32. Craig Says:

Typical worthless hack story picked by Michelle to rile her men hating base.

  33. Rondo Says:

If Republicans think it’s no problem to appoint all men to their top leadership posts —– well then — they’re big boys. It’s their decision and if there are negative consequences they have to live with them.

  34. Stewart Says:

Appointing incompetent women and minorities just to say you have them on your staff does not make you a good leader.

  35. Thomas Says:

Not as many women run for high public office. It’s a stressful job with long hours. The ones who do are also not going to tend to put in the extra effort needed to make it to chair.

Then there’s the bigger issue that for all their propaganda about equal rights for women and minorities, Dems go out of their way to destroy Republican women and minorities. The most dynamic women in politics are actually Republicans, not Democrats, and there were quite a few running in the last couple elections.

You see, Republicans are equal -opportunity-, while Democrats just view women as numbers and propaganda tools. We aren’t allowed to have any by their way of thinking, because thar negates their whole line of propaganda. Nd what they do to Republican blacks is downright criminal.

  36. Mary Says:

Is anyone noticing all these white men attempting to justify why it is okay to continue allowing only white men to determine what the direction this country should take?

  37. Steve Says:

    Hey Michelle,

This is not news! Get off your racial, gender, ethnic kick. They’re people who were supported by their peers – that’s good enough for me.

Diversity is always good and it’s fun, but it should never be forced upon us and should not be the focus. Got a problem with a person because of character or political positions? Fine, bear on that. I’m surprised you didn’t say, “White Men”. The title of the article you picked is simply gender-baiting – get over it.

“I think at a time when Iran may get nuclear weapons which may be passed on to terrorists, it is incredible that we should even be playing sort of demographic roulette and saying ‘Wouldn’t it be nice to have the first black President or the first woman President or whatever.’ We need whoever can do that job best because the future of the country depends on it.” – Thomas Sowell (2008)

  38. Aaron Says:

Claire, and there isn’t a one of them that you mentioned who is competent to do anything other than bring me coffee. So what’s YOUR point?

  39. Alycedale Says:

Sure, I’ve noticed. And how about how subtly they hint at how much more competent white men must be over every any one else since we all know they were picked on their mental qualifications and leadership abilities.

The same ones no doubt that cause the melt down of our economy that a black man had to save them from. And the kind of leadership that has garnered the type of world cooperation that his whit predecessor couldn’t get with money, threats, or ice cream.

Yeah, white skin and tiny balls make you guys so much more qualified.

    Alycedale

  40. Jason Says:

Not a single woman will lead any of the major House committees in the 113th Congress.”

Probably because those choices were based on ability and/or seniority and not what the Liberals would call “fairness.”

  41. Eliza Says:

I’m a Republican and all I can do is shake my head over this.

    Will they EVER learn?

  42. Chris Says:

Women have ruined whats left of this country. Do you think Obama would be in office if it weren’t for the women?

Heck we had to vote for it to see how it works. Women will be the downfall of this country yet.

  43. Henry Says:

All men, so what…. obama does just the opposite and no one says crap. All he has is women and minorities…that way if anyone says anything about them he can say its the war against women or racism. So, for obama ot OMIT white men, he is just as guilty.

  44. Tony Says:

Why do I read this blog Michelle? All you do is claim republicans hate women, gays, minorities.

I know you beat the drum for the DNC but for god’s sake the election is over… try reporting on Benghazi or fast and furious or the GSA issues or the fact that every major player in the Obama administration wants to bail on him…

oh wait those are issues ONLY when there is a Republican administration… hypocrite.

  45. Trisha Says:

Alycedale, They just don’t get it – apart from ignoring that over 50% of the population is female (and they are allowed to vote) –

Paul Ryan’s disastrous “budget” gets him the “money man” position again – Paul Ryan doesn’t understand arithmetic – let alone economics – like McCain he brings the party into major disrepute.

  46. Jane Says:

The Republicans do not understand human psychology. People vote in support of their identities… even against their own self interests. I mean, seriously, how much has Obama’s presidency benefitted Afircan Americans or Hispanics? Absolutely nada!

And other than handing out free contraceptives, what’s the One done for women… especially in terms of creating an economy that will hire them? But… they will vote Democrat party so long as they identify with its leaders.

Meanwhile, if the same Republican message were being delivered by intelligant women or by people of color… it would easily sweep the Dems out of power. But Noooooooo! The boys must have their toys… err, committee chairmanships.

  47. Mitch Says:

You see how racist these people are against white men???? These guys were the most qualified and you’re ****ed because they are white men. let is go!!!

White men are capable and qualified just like everyone else. It just happens that they are the best at this position…

Get a life you racists liberals..

    suck it

  48. Frannie Says:

A good fit for Michele Bachmann would be one of the committees she’s already on. Those include Financial Services and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

  49. Brad Says:

And the war against conservatives continues. A manufactured controversy, gasps of horror by the media, and anguished comments by the left to reinforce the controversy put forth.

The subject does not matter, the script (birth control, abortions, social security, etc) is all the same.

Meanwhile the U.S. continues it’s economic fall, which will make Greece look like a business and residential destination, driven there by the Democrats.

All this with the useful idiots of the media cheering, supported by left wing bloggers and comment posters who, if given a dollar, could not buy a clue.

  50. Jeff Says:

    Michelle, What a sexist article.

What does your private parts have to do with your ability to do the job?

  51. Juanita Says:

Only white males are making these idiotic comments of self justification, and most likely a white males who have never experienced sexism or racism.

No hispanic, woman, gay or african american would ever make comments like the s**t that I have just read.

  52. Douglas Says:

As so the problem is exposed. We aren’t just people anymore, we must belong to a special group. What a bunch of scuttle over nothing. Divide and conquer as always with the press and the Democrat party.

  53. Fred Says:

since the liberal women have been in government, America has gone down

  54. Roger Says:

When my youngest son was born, I told people that he had two and possibly three genetic abnormalities (the third to be revealed as he aged): 1) White 2) Male 3) Maybe heterosexual In the eyes of Democrat voters, such traits are abhorrent and constitute real disabilities.

  55. Murry Says:

“[Obama] is comfortable having powerful women work with and for him. The means he appoints two women to the Supreme Court. He appoints a woman to be Secretary of State. He appoints a woman to be the UN ambassador. . .”

Sounds like he’s afraid of powerful men. He was abandoned by his father, which is genuinely awful. The result is that he does come off as kind of a teacher’s-pet geek who likes to hear himself talk.

I’d rather have a President who didn’t feel the need to surround himself with nannies.

  56. Lloyd Says:

    Why bother…

Republicans have decided the only way they can satisfy the media demography whores is to find an African American gay woman who is single under the age of thirty born in Mexico who aborted a pregnancy after having cheated on her Asian boyfriend with a Muslim guy she met while protesting the Keystone Pipeline.

  57. Lilly Says:

I would rather , as a woman be judged by a group of men then a group of nit picking women!

    no shrinking violet

  58. Dan Says:

While I am not familiar with the leaders selected, if they are the most qualified, what difference does it matter what sex may be.

It is time America places a premium on the most qualified instead of simply looking to fill a square and meet a quota. We are well past the 70s and 80s.

This attempt to divide has got to stop or we will eventually run our party, as well.

  59. Zen Lill Says:

Jim, you and GeorgeWN surround yourself with ‘dumb as a box of rocks’ women, why is that a measure of all women rather than a measure of you and who you keep company with.
If your dumbies aren’t looking at a horses hindquarters to see if they’re a sprinter or a long distance runner (in addition to being ‘pretty’) why does that make a statement about ‘women’ in general? Again, your statement says more about who you settle spending your time with than the state of ‘most’ women’s intelligence.
In this instance, it sounds like 2 ‘boxes of rocks’ might be attracted to one another, one male, one female…just a thought…
Watch how you express your disdain for dumb women, it’s very reflective of you, nobody held a gun to your head to hang with said women. There are Bimbo-dudes in this world also, you may be the one who’s being taken for the ride, darlin’ ; ) you just don’t know it bc the dim bulb in the chandelier rarely knows it…

    Luv, Zen Lill
