Coming To A State Near You
Posted by Michelle Moquin on February 1st, 2013
Good morning!
More on the war on women – the GOP just can’t seem to stay out of our panties. There are a two states that have one last abortion clinic (Mississippi, North Dakota), and the GOP are working on closing these down, as well as a plan to hit the rest of the states throughout the U.S.,…one state at a time, to make sure women don’t get access to abortion.
So girls and guys don’t turn a blind eye. Get involved. Take action. Talk about choice. Your state could be next. Just because it isn’t happening in your state, yet…help our sisters maintain and access their constitutional rights. The GOP is getting more fringe (Is that even possible?) with their radical controlling conservative ideologies.
Here’s a segment from Maddow’s Blog that tells it all.

It’s about time. Research by a Guam academic is aimed at making people aware of the significant but little-known role of women during the Second World War.
Evelyn Flores, an associate professor at the University of Guam, says much has been made of the heroism of George Tweed, the only American soldier to survive Guam’s occupation by Japan.
She says the role of Chamorro people in helping him evade capture has often been overlooked and, when it is acknowledged, it is only the part played by men that is mentioned.
But Professor Flores says without the help of Chamorro women Tweed would not have survived and it is essential that more people know about that.
“We have a matrilineal society and I argue that our society is one of the few that was an egalitarian society before contact and so women have a very powerful place in the family.
And so what the mother does is as much a model for the men as it is for the boys as it is for the girls . So I think it’s an empowerment of the whole culture as we bring these stories out to challenge and to correct the misinformation that’s out there

Palau is still recovering from Supertyphoon Bopha. Your topic about he suffering of women is evident here because we have men who have made women bargain for food with their bodies during the height of damage by Bopha in December of last year.

What’s with the earthquakes on Guam not being reported. We feel them the buildings are shaking, yet no one acknowledges them?
Sure, it has happened before but not to this degree. Howie, is this some alien thing?

Oh, if this helps Howie. Here is the news report.
————————————-
An earthquake that shook the island just before 8am Monday morning has not been reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake gently shook buildings throughout the island, but caused no reported damage or injuries.
The magnitude of the quake is unclear because the USGS website, which normally records and reports earthquakes throughout the world, did not report this temblor.
Its not clear why the quake was unreported, but its not the first time. Last year a similarly mild earthquake went unreported by the USGS.
Email inquires to the Western Regional Office of the USGS have not been answered.

Is there something we should know about?

Davis, soon after blowing past Palau, Typhoon Bopha hit the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. Here, the typhoon was known as Typhoon Pablo. More than a thousand people have been confirmed dead as a result of the storm, with many still missing.
The women here have it worst than the men because we are expected to bargain with out bodies for things we need to survive. Men are the same everywhere it seems.

Howie, I just finished my research on some of the topics about aliens you have so generously supplied us with. Amazing how a seed planted can sprout a healthy plant if the seed is fertile.
Your information is invaluable to the fertile mind. Keep it coming.

Tom, that is one way to solve the issue, one man at a time, unfortunately your sister lives with the knowledge of the rape, and like my friend and many other women, they think – was it my fault for having him over, was it my fault for this and that, and NO it’s not anyone’s fault that some men are animals though you must (again, unfortunately) do you best to not be a mark for this type…I know, I know, you can’t always see them coming…too true…but when you can protect yourself, please do it. Thx, ZL

Anna, I once read a book about women in WWII called Jackdaws, written by my favorite overall author (style, imagination and cohesiveness is astounding) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackdaws check out the info, women have been leading edge in a lot of things in life, getting men out of situations during wars they started, though men always rush forward to snag credit for everything, partly testosterone competiveness and partly testosterone driven ego, the two together make them act like children in adult bodies, add some sex into that mix and the lot of them behave like chimpanzees left in charge of the banana distribution, please…
if the brunt of their big burly brutality was only imposed on each other, I would sit back with a bag of popcorn and just watch the dawg eat dawg antics but since women either fall prey (on purpose/self imposed in Western world indoctrination of religion, conservativism, must-have-man-to-complete-my-life complex, etc…or are born into it, and are at the hands of physical brutality in the middle east, etc…) it just is alarming that they’re left in charge of anything. Men can talk about hormonal women all they want, testosterone has done more overall damage than any group of PMSing, MSing, and menopausal women could ever hold responsibility for…
I just don’t get why repugs can’t see that not only is it a woman’s choice to terminate/continue a pregnancy but that overall we’d have a large society of unwanted children to feed, cloth and have to deal with (psychologically who wants to feel unwanted from day one?), I don’t get it…is the forest that thick they can’t see a hand in front of their own faces? It’s ludicrous to say the least and since I always say the most (….and it ticked off someone, sorry, forgot your name that could not get in yesterday, but your tired of me getting in : ) I’m going to go take a friend out for her b’day cocktail now bc its 5 o’clock somewhere and I haven’t had a mojito in months, can’t wait : )

Hi Michelle:
They are just not easing up on you women. Three days in a row, well two and 2 guys trying to experience labor pains one day. Women go through a hell of a lot, should not be abuse by “any” man, and should have full control over her “own” health and family concerns. And the govt. and the churches should keep it’s nosey asses out of her business
I used your Link and signed up at NARAL. Haven’t checked it out thorouthly yet, but I am sure to find something that I can do to help out a little.

Sorry Z, I hated Pillars of the Earth. Who cares about the damn church getting built? That book was over long and over hyped.

Tete, understood and to each his/her own, though I went into it with a similar attitude I soon fell into the story, as if living during those times myself. I have a vivid imagination and it fulfilled that end well. I’m sure jackdaws would prove a better read, its shorter and stays on point better, check it out. – Z
