Like I said yesterday, never a break. This is truly a sad and sickening story.
19 Year Old, Detroit Woman Shot To Death Asking For Help After Car Accident
Where have we seen this story played out before? That’s right, in the good old U.S.A, the land of the free and the home of the brave?
This slogan the country loves to spout just doesn’t seem to hold water as another senseless murder of a black person happens in this country. And to be shot to death after seeking assistance from a car accident makes it even worse. Can’t believe some people have such little regard for life in this country.
From Fox News Detroit: ”This man just came to the door, by somebody just knocking? She didn’t break in his house; she didn’t break a window. What, you seen somebody on your porch and you just start shooting? And then you say it was accidental? That wasn’t accidental; that wasn’t accidental, no,” says Bernita Spinks. She is the victim’s aunt.
Dearborn Heights police believe Renisha McBride, 19, was shot in self-defense as the shooter believed she was an intruder. Her family was initially told by police that her body was “dumped” and discovered near Warren Avenue and Outer Drive, but now police are saying she died on the man’s front porch.
The Dearborn Heights police department needs to be investigated as well as they initially believed this shooting was in self-defense. However, things are beginning to change as more and more information comes out about the case and many people are doubting this was a case of self defense.
There was no signs of breaking and entering. No windows were broken. No neighbors even reporting shouting or aggression at the scene of the crime, the front porch of the house in question.
McBride’s maternal aunt, Bernita Spinks, told The Detroit News the young woman was shot in the back of the head as she left the porch of the home where she sought assistance.
Spinks said no matter if the shooter believed McBride to be an intruder, shooting her was not justified.
“He shot her in the head … for what? For knocking on his door,” Spinks told The Detroit News on Tuesday. “If he felt scared or threatened, he should have called 911.”
Shot in the back of the head? How in the world could you almost come to this conclusion, especially when the body was dump somewhere else after the shooting. If it was self defense, who would move the body from a white neighborhood, which you know you would get the benefit of the doubt?
If you don’t know the Dearborn Heights neighborhood, you should be aware it is a wildly white area that has a history of doubt and suspicion to blacks in the area. And yes, in case you are wondering, Michigan has the infamous Stand Your Ground law that is behind many deaths of black throughout our community.
Hopefully, justice is served in this case, but I wonder when is the black community going to grow sick and tire of this mess?

Zen Lill, I love your response #42 yesterday, Sunday the 19th of November.
You said it like it it … plain and simple. When did the Jewish People even join the OTW population? That was ripped-off from the Nazis who used Jews as a scapegoat to focus their hatred, jealousy and Sadism on.
I believe that enough is enough. Racism is getting old. Most of us are tired of it. Who is not an OTW and who isn’t? … Who really cares? We are all God’s creation. What do modern people see in Jewish people that makes them less worthy of equal treatment than any other ethnic group?
For that matter, what makes any ethnic group less worthy than any other? It couldn’t be the color of their skin or eyes. Then what is it that makes OTWs less than the White man? … NOTHING … God created us in many flavors. Who are we to question why God created Humans in many colors and cultures? They felt like it so here we are — none better than any other group.

I just do not get it. Tolerance is a God-given gift. Zero Tolerance is conceived by some narrow-minded White men who need someone or something to hate so they can feel superior to someone or something.
It is so warped an issue. We all live on this one little blue marble we call Earth. It is here for the entertainment of the Gods (whoever you believe in). We are just the actors in their big show because as William Shakespeare has said: “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.” — William Shakespeare.

Okay, went back and found Danny and Walter. Hmmmm, Danny, killing people who have wronged you won’t change your experience with these two, though I do concur with why you’d want to do it, & that they are likely doing it to some other young man or woman, and it needs stopping.
Their blood on your hands, not Walters. (Walter doesn’t have a care, he’s a psychopath, oh I mean that in the nicest way, too, Walter, it’s just a handy ‘label’ makes you easy to identify for us non-killing types). Can your heart and mind wrap around the vigilante action you’re moving forward on? I hope so for your sake, many people become haunted bu making decisions much less violent in nature. Just sayin”
This article about the 19 year old girl makes me sad. I have a friend who is black and we both had a situation on different nights with very different outcomes: both of us had cars that were very low on gas, we stopped at same gas station, it was just a minute before actual closing time 6:55ish, 7pm was closing. I knocked at the window repeatedly and asked if I could come in, pay for gas, etc…please, please, please. They opened the door within 30 seconds, I was very thankful and I got gas and was on my way, I didn’t think another moment about it, other than to think – cool, saved from my own oversight. My friend did the same thing ‘while black’ – they rushed to the door and told her to leave immediately or they’d call 911 and kept waving their hands at her to leave yelling we’re closed can’t you see that, etc…
& that’s how this shit occurs, someone decides in 10 seconds how to handle you and believe me when I say my friend is a much more upstanding citizen than I am!
So this poor 19 year old was ringing while black and she’s dead now, that’s not self defense, that’s murder.
Howie, ahhh I wasn’t going to say anything but you mentioned it, whites (Germans specifically) were jealous and became hateful about a group. At the time of Hitlers uprising, it was known that Jews were the best with money and banking was the show, and we all know that whoever runs the money runs the real show and Jews were rising up quickly as knowledgeable about making it, making deals with it, and all else that we could all use lessons in, negotiating and bargaining, etc…how is that so bad it turns into serious hatred of the killing caliber? When that psychotic persuasive and hypnotic Hitler decided it was…insane followed by more insanity.

I’ll never get that, if I were a dude I would perfect my skills in that arena because then you can control how often you have sex (all the time bc she seriously wants you!) – instead of being a total out of control jack off, not manning up to take control of your own freaking hormones.
Why do men want to control their women so much and yet they often want total freedom to do what they want themselves. Again, I won’t ever understand this irrational, one-sided behavior, are men so insecure that they have no game and another might have a better one that they resort to this?

Zen Lill, I had a similar experience also. I pulled into a gas station just before they closed and as they were locking the door a black girl pulled up. The closed the door and laughed.
Then they looked at me and said good thing you are a chink and not a nigger or you wouldn’t be getting gas either.
I didn’t see the black girl because she left in a hurry. I never forgot that. What a country.

Hafa Adai, hey mainland we finaly got an electric car on Guam.
At last, an all-electric car model has reached Guam — three years after its launch in the U.S. mainland.
Statesiders may view the rollout of the Nissan Leaf as something so 2011, but not Guam drivers.
With the island’s gas prices near $5 a gallon, the possibility of buying a gasoline-free car is tempting.
The local Nissan dealership unveiled what it says is the first all-electric vehicle for the local market, the Leaf, on Nov. 6. And there wasn’t a shortage of guests who wanted to test drive the car.
When you combine the allure of doing away with gasoline expenses, and helping to save Guam from getting smothered by vehicle fumes, you’d at least be curious about it.
Lots of questions
Those who checked out the Leaf were loaded with questions.
Does it have power and speed similar to a conventional, gasoline-powered car of its size?
Does the cost of the Leaf, which is several thousand dollars pricier than an economy car, even after existing federal tax credits are factored in, make sense budget-wise?
Is the driving experience similar or better than cars of a similar kind?
The answers are yes, maybe and yes.
The Pacific Daily News test-drove a Leaf with upgrades: a solar panel on the spoiler to help power some of the car’s tech features; a dashboard view of the entire outside of the car — sides, rear, back and overhead; leather seats; and Bose sound system.
It has a surprisingly roomy interior for a car its size. There’s ample room for stuff in the back.
The test drive
The test drive began with getting to know the electric car basics. You press a button to turn the ignition on or off, as long as the car’s remote “key” is somewhere in your pocket or within enough range for the car to read it.
To shift from park, drive or reverse, you very lightly touch, clock-wise, a computer mouse-like control between the driver’s and front passenger’s seats.
The car accelerates quickly. Nissan Guam representatives say the car can go more than 80 mph, but that shouldn’t be necessary if you don’t want a traffic ticket.
