Wonderful Women Of The World
Posted by Michelle Moquin on March 15th, 2014
Good morning!
Ya, gotta love this woman. I’m talking about Dr Danielle Martin, vice president at the Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, Canada. When it came to getting the facts straight on Health Care, Doc Martin (Pun intended) rocked it and buried Sen. Richard Burr with her answers, setting the senator straight about the myths and misunderstandings surrounding Canada’s heath system. No need to mention that Burr is indeed a republican…as I’m sure you’ve already guessed that.
There is a good reason Martin is trending on social media. From The Rachel Maddow Show:

Any comments? Blog me.
Howie: Hey there. Well, you always come back with something super fascinating to say. It will be interesting to find out what exactly fell off that craft, and if it is of any value.
Happy you decided to “perk” your lips yesterday, and fill us in on the latest happenings out in space and here on Earth. All I can say is I had a feeling about that missing plane.
My heart goes out to the families of the missing.
Peace out.
Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle

A woman’s world won’t be “wonderful” until women take charge of their political environment.

Rachel Maddow said it best: “The Kochs are playing everywhere. That’s the game now. That is 2014.”
But they’re playing dirty — in a recent ad aired in Michigan, a woman claims that Obamacare has made her cancer treatment “unaffordable.” But numerous fact checkers have exposed this claim as utterly false. In fact, according to the Detroit News, she “will save more than $1,000 this year” with her new plan under Obamacare.
The Kochs are trying to drown strong Democrats in deceptive, false attacks like these — over $30 million worth so far — and it’s the biggest reason “a Republican wave in 2014 is looking more likely,” according to the National Journal. We’re fighting back: will you join us and stand with Democrats today to take a stand against these lies?
Even though Koch-fueled ads in Senate battlegrounds have been debunked by numerous independent fact checkers, they continue to blanket the airwaves and deceive voters in must-win states.

Michelle, it doesn’t matter where a woman is from she has to overcome male malfeasance.

Take a look at the massive spending in the last week ALONE from the Koch brothers and Karl Rove:
$700,000 increase in Arkansas (Kochs)
$700,000 increase in Louisiana (Kochs)
$850,000 expansion into Colorado (Kochs)
$600,000 expansion into New Hampshire (Rove)

Women have to make it a priority to check their candidates for their voting record on women.
