FLOTUS Speaks And You Don’t Want To Miss It

Good morning!

Social Butterfly, et al: Thank you for posting about our FLOTUS. Many times I write (or prepare) the majority if not the entire blog the night before the posting of it. So I miss being able to post anything hot of the press, so to speak, which this speech Michelle Obama gave, most certainly was.

Yes, I saw it. I nodded my head in agreement over and over, cheered her words and cried from them as well. It was inspiring, REAL, profound, and spoke to the very core of what is happening in our country. I say proudly, “Michelle Obama for president in 2020.” If the Clinton’s can do it, the Obama’s can do it too.

The next two days of blog posts were done ahead of time because my schedule is demanding right now. But after watching MO, I pushed everything forward a day and I’m posting it here today anyway. I want to be on record that I acknowledged one of the best, if not the best political speeches (in support of Clinton) I have ever heard, right here on our blog. Spoken by a girl we all love…FLOTUS.

I know probably all of you have watched her extraordinary speech. If you haven’t you are in for a big dose of truth and reality, coming from a powerful girl. Michelle is finally showing us just how badass she can be.

Watch it more than once:

💪🏽♀❤️

Michelle Obama: You are my idol, my shero, my role model – a girl who exemplifies Badassery with a capital “B.” I am so proud of who you are. Thank you enormously for showing us your deep love and compassion for women and girls. ❤️

Readers: I’m with Michelle Obama. I can’t stop thinking about this either. My mind is so preoccupied with this election I can barely get through the day, there are so many reminders of misogyny, lies, etc. being thrown at us. Enough is enough.

We all need to step it up. 25 days left till Election Day.

Trevor: I have a feeling there is a lot more to your story. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Janis: I find it so interesting that your father and your sisters have flipped. What’s the hold up with you? Where’s the sisterly support? And I mean that not just with your siblings but globally.

Thoughts? It’s Friday start flapping your lips. Blog me.

Peace & Love

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

Gratefully your blog host,

hope the rain is bringing you with it

  2. Avila Says:

Finally trump is finding out what it is like to birther someone.

  3. Avila Says:

OMG! So Mr. birther how do you like it so far?

  4. Lewis Says:

Damn, my cousins are some of those white people voting color. I mean how much of a tax break must you be promised to vote for a creep.

  5. Anonymous Says:

“Unconsented sexual touching is a sexual assault. And somebody who does that, who thinks he has a right to do that, who does it thinking that it’s a reflection of his value because he’s a celebrity, et cetera, I mean that is predation.

    “It makes everybody feel unsafe.”

  6. David Says:

I love how people just dump all over Donald Trump for some lewd comments he made….

….yet Bill Clinton is still lauded and celebrated even though he did more than make lewd comments.

Irony can be so ironic sometimes.

  7. Ken Says:

Why is everyone piling on with story after story about Tronald Dump? Getting sick of it!

  8. Gordon Says:

David#6, Trump gets dumped on because he deserves to get dumped on.

As for the women who had affairs with Clinton, you do know that a woman agreeing to having a sexual relationship with a man is different from one who has not agreed.

If you don’t, then like trump you are a predator. As for how one treats a woman who knowingly has an affair with a married man, my take is she is not different from the bandit who attempts to deprive an owner of his property. He/she is at the mercy of how the victim responds.

Hence those women who agreed to have affairs don’t have the right to expect the wronged woman(Hilary) to be nice.

  9. Morsel Says:

David#6,Trump admits he assaults women, Clinton had consensual sex..what can’t you Pro-Trumpers understand about that?

  10. Robert Says:

David#6, @David Semple Trump said what he did *without* the consent of women, Bill as far as I’m aware did what he did consensually.

    Yes, let’s not twist reality.

  11. Don Says:

David#6 It is quite apparent you are a very good dancer. However Bill Clinton is long gone, despite the desperation of some who have glommed on to him in order to distract from the current elephant in the room, who by his own words describes sexual predation.
To ignore this is just plain indefensible.

  12. Tony Says:

Trump is certainly a misogynist. So is Saudi Arabia, the country that has given tens of million to Hillary Clinton.

  13. Casey Says:

Tony#12,Double standard. Saudi Arabia has its pocket in every pie. our leaders seem to lack the backbone to tell them off, largely because they know there would be serious consequences.

Every single leader in the US at that level has had dealings with Saudia Arabia, and so has Trump as a “business man.” To try to pains Hillary alone as somehow evil because of her dealings with them, while ignoring everyone else’s, is in itself an act of sexism, because this expectation that Hillary be somehow more saintly than any other politician at her level would never come up were she just another man running for president.

  14. Bill Says:

Democrats like to call themselves “feminists” but they really don’t care what a man does to a woman, so long as he is (a) a democrat, and (b) he lets her have an abortion when he is finished with her.

  15. Teresa Says:

Liberalism is a disease with no cure.

  16. Lliana Says:

Bill#14, disgusting….just like many of you Trump people — deplorable was the right word.

  17. Nancy Says:

    Bill#14, another deplorable.

  18. Lucy Says:

Bill#14, Not the democrats that I know…in her wonderful speech, Michelle Obama represents mainstream democrats and moral high road republicans. Enough is enough. Trump is going down in flames and trying to take the country with him.

He is deplorable and disgusting and does not have what it takes, in terms of character, experience and knowledge to be be president. We are not that stupid. Maybe some of us are…the 30+% who continue to support his hateful divisive candidacy…but not all of us and not the majority.

So long Trump. God, I wish you could take your basket of deplorables with you.

  19. Theresa Says:

Lucy#18, never gonna happen there are too many people with common sense instead of you low life liberal trash.

  20. Troy Says:

Theresa#19, You and the likes of you thought that about Senator Obama. You all constantly preached your doom and gloom fantasies once he won the nomination! You all preached he would be a one term Presidrnt and you were wrong again!

Either you all like making fools of yourselves or you are just a bunch of slow thinkers farting from the mouth!!!

  21. Zen Lill Says:

Great speech and I was going to comment on how she brought up two things this country can’t afford to have and that’s hatred and fear.

David, you’ve been spoken to already but did anyone tell you that it’s Hilary running not Bill?

Bill, ugh, that’s exactly the hatred and yes fear I was referring to. Your statement made me sad for all decent men, the ones that hang in your court are deeply fragile under the surface of your false bravado.

Most of the beginning of her speech gave me hope that common sense wasn’t dead bc anyone with any amount of it (and clearly it’s lacking) would just treat everyone with respect and kindness and dignity. Period.

Luv, Zen Lill – now you know what to do, go vote

  22. Sonja Says:

Troy#20,They’re called the DEPLORABLES. Trump loves them because they’re not educated enough…..Lol, He said it too.

  23. Hamby Says:

Sonja#22, If the price one pays for education is falling victim to scheming, slimy shrews like HRC and other life long politicians, you can call me uneducated. Wont hurt my feelings at all.

  24. Sonja Says:

Hamby#23, If you can’t see at that point that Trump is not a qualified Presidential Candidate you’re consciously stupid. I’m not going to call you uneducated.

  25. Hamby Says:

Sonja#24, What are the qualifications of running for president? 45 years old, natural born citizen, not a felon. Hmm. Seems he is qualified. Furthermore, he has a lifetime of experience managing people, delegating authority, making decisions and making money.
I’m not voting for him, but it’ll be a cold day in hell before I voted for that vile, bag wearing crone Hillary.
And again, I could not possibly care any less that you evaluate my intelligence on the grounds of political election.

  26. Sonja Says:

Hammy#25, How about wisdom and character. Trump isn’t a successful businesses man. Do your research and, kill the talking points and no, you’re not intelligent if you’re a Trump supporter.

That’s why he himself said he loves the poorly educated. That’s because he can piss on you and tell you it’s rain and you’ll believe him…..

But don’t worry he won’t be winning this election anyway at this point, thankfully.

  27. Don Says:

Sonja#26, Sorry, but wisdom and character are no qualifications necessary to run for President. Otherwise, Hillary would be disqualified as well.

  28. Zen Lill Says:

You’re all arguing over a snake w two heads, 1 is Labeled R and the other D, the more you argue with each other over intellect for supporting either, the more this blog is nothing more than case study in mass psychology. Don’t get me wrong I totally enjoy reading and writing bc of that…but when the going gets ugly … You’re a product of that system, keep em’ arguing while we do what we do…

At this point, both will have to pay back contribution favors, that’s just how that works, next they’ll have to be handled by the true powers that be all while meanwhile giving us just enough of a taste of what we thought we wanted to make it all palatable.

We live in a world where 4 yes 4 Intl Corps run ALL media, everything you watch & hear.

It’s going to be an interesting 11th hour, and the media can’t wait, leaked 10 year old videos, Assange YT videos about Hilary, it’s all distractions. And as usual I’ll mention it he’s a dark triad through and through and all politicians have some sociopathic tendencies, research it.

    ~ ZL

  29. Hamby Says:

Sonja#26, Wisdom and Character, you say? Because so many of our ex-presidents had both wisdom and character. A few, perhaps. Most, only one or neither.
Furthermore, if wisdom and character were requirements for the office, Hillary’d sure be out of the running. Good God, character?? She might be a character but she sure hasn’t given any indication that she has any. As for her wisdom, I cannot speak; I don’t know her. But certainly if avoiding questions, forgetting, losing stuff, back peddling and outright lying are signs of wisdom, she’s got it in spades.

  30. Sonja Says:

Hammy#29, .True, but you keep misspelling his name. It’s Trump. You just described him perfectly and that’s why he’s not qualified.

Thankfully he won’t be winning next month.

  31. Zen Lill Says:

I’m still hoping fr martial law so we keep Obama or actually if Michelle Obama stepped in right now, I’d vote for her in a minute. Hilary for 4 and MO in 2020 and you can keep arguing but one thing that the US can’t ever take back is this whole election is this: the world has seen how low we set the bar for what we allow as candidates and theres a certain amount of awed disrespect we’ve just earned ourselves. Rightfully so, sadly…

    ~ ZL

  32. Wilma Says:

Who gives a shit about bill clinton. It’s irrelevant to this election – he isn’t running. Hillary is. Trump can’t find enough fault with Hillary so he attacks her husband. He’s just deflecting. He’s got nothing else

  33. Wilma Says:

Zl – seriously ?! You’re hoping for martial law? ~SMH~ You say some dumb shit sometimes. Besides last I read here you aren’t even living in the US. How convenient

“Under a declaration of martial law, Constitutional freedoms and liberties are suspended, and civilians are no longer entitled to their civil rights. It basically allows the government, or a tyrannical politician, to shred the Constitution and impose its will through military force.”

The US does NOT need this.

  34. Zen Lill Says:

Dumb shit it may sound like and extreme it is, it’d give us Obama for POTUS and he’d never behave tyrannical, the US is already a police state in case you hadn’t noticed, they roll out military grade equip whenever they want bc they have it and they can.

And shooting unarmed people is ok with them now, where’ve you been?

… and the 2 current candidates (though #Iamwithher) aren’t the best choices. I don’t love hilary but she’s the only candidate POTUS worthy … And they are very close in polls with her leading by a few points only??? This election is basically an American shit show. Just my opinion.

PS It won’t happen bc it would require a major threat to ‘homeland security’ and I doubt that the powers that be care who the next president is enough to do it.

    ~ ZL
