Being Anonymous Is So Revealing

Posted by Michelle Moquin on February 8th, 2009

Damn – I just love my blog. The anonymouses are anonymous but ohhh sooo revealing – Ha! We don’t have to get nasty here. How about a little common courtesy? I didn’t ask you to reveal yourselves; all I asked is that you number or initial yourselves so that I could address you easier. If you don’t want to, fine – carry on how you see fit.   But don’t give me this BS that I’m trying to chill free speech – you obviously haven’t been reading my blog long enough. And really as if adding an initial or a fake name is going to reveal anything? Please….can we try to be just a little bit logical?

And don’t dare even tell me that I’m more concerned about who is writing the message than the message itself. Are we a little perturbed that I didn’t comment or address the issues you brought up? Hmmm…if I bitched every time that I wrote an article and had NO ONE comment on my writing I would be bitching every other day. Have you ever heard me complain when I write something and the comments have nothing to do with my write?  No, but you anonymous seem to be a bit Po’d that I didn’t comment on your commentary, eh?

And you Claud….Calling me lazy?  Yeah, I have to tell you, when people describe me that is the first thing they say about me. Ha! I’m the one here every day.  So, I could use my time more wisely by working on allowing people to get in? Oh…poor you, are you getting big ‘L’, little ‘a’, little ‘z’ and ‘y’ are you so lazy in trying to get in everyday?  In case you’re a newbie, I’ll say it again, “I don’t control who gets in. Period.”  Keep trying, and say something worth reading so when you finally do get in, it will be more than just a bitching. Good luck!  :)

Ookaayy…so where was I? Oh yeah, I wanted to say something to anonymous – you figure out which one, I’ll just write.

My opinion: I think that you should defy your parents. How long are you going to let them hold you back from expressing your true feelings? When are you going to give them your two? If my brother was in a similar situation like your sister, I would stand up for my brother and tell my parents how racist they were. And I would tell my friends too. You can’t pick your parents but you can pick your friends. So, what are you doing hanging around racists, when obviously you are not racist yourself? My suggestion is tell your ‘friends’ your feelings and then split – get new friends who have the same values as you do. As far as your parents are concerned, would it not be worth the risk to confront them about their hurtful actions? By being silent you are an accessory to the problems in our country. Speak up.

Anonymous: The repugnicants get it all right. What they’re hoping is that the rest of the people will stay stupid and not get it. What they’re hoping is that no one will notice that they talk out of both sides of their mouths to fit whatever works for them that day. They bitch about the spending on the stimulus package yet it was okay to to give billions with no strings. They will bitch if too much color gets into the senate yet, all there every was was white in the senate all these years. They’ll say and do whatever they need to, to prey on the stupidity of the average American….all in the name of cloroxing our country. Am I using that term too much? I can’t help it – I’m a visual and it describes exactly what they are trying to do.

That being said, I agree with you Robert. We do need a much better representation of this country. We are very mixed racially and our senate should reflect that.

Farley: Let me guess – You have a small dick yes? Any man who thinks that women are second class and claims that he is the master of his household, tells me he has a small diick and treats his wife as his slave. The real white men in this country know that women are their equals. Unfortunately there aren’t many real men period. Most  white  men in this country are a bunch of two-faced, controlling, small dick, insecure, racist, hypocrites. Wow. When you spell it all out, it really doesn’t sound good.  Don’t believe this to be true? Then why do their actions speak louder than the words they spew? Why do they profess such love and compassion for this country when it is obvious that it is only a veil to fool the public to conceal their true greedy self-serving intentions?

And FYI: The only time a man will take control of me is when I allow him to. And really,  the only time I will allow him to, and actually welcome the control, is in bed. The power of the pussy makes a man want to control and possess that which pleases him to no end. I’m okay with that. But other than that, I am in control. Got it?

Well…I was actually going to run with a topic this morning, but I really don’t want to. So converse, rant, chat, bitch….do what ever pleases you….I’m signing off.

Oh, but before I do, just for a little fun…this is me being anonymous but oh soo revealing…(tee hee hee :)

Happy Sunday…Enjoy it!

    Guam can mean different things
Skin Cream Found That Fights Cellulite

(ARA) – Bathing suits mean fun in the sun or the pool, right? Those ladies who have a problem with cellulite — which is basically fat that appears as dimpled skin on the thighs, hips and buttocks — would rather hide inside than let anyone see their lumps and bumps, no matter how much fun there is.

If you’re among those who are too embarrassed to wear a bathing suit, you’re really missing out. So what can you do to improve your self image enough to get out there in your favorite suit?

A good place to start is with an understanding of how you ended up with the problem in the first place. First, know that you’re not alone. An estimated 9-out-of-10 women have some form of cellulite, and it’s more pronounced in women who are heavier set.

Cellulite is caused by fibrous connective cords that connect the skin to the underlying muscle. The cords tether the skin to deeper structures, with the fat lying in between. As the fat cells accumulate, they push up against the skin, while the long, tough cords are pulling down. This creates an uneven surface or dimpling; but it’s not something you have to live with.

What can you do to combat it?  Start using a cellulite cream.

Creams specially formulated to get rid of cellulite contain a variety of healing ingredients, such as vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts and antioxidants, that work together to stimulate skin circulation, burn off fat deposits and moisturize the skin.

One worth trying is a new formula launched by Dermitage, a leading provider of scientifically-advanced and effective skin rejuvenation products. When used regularly, the Dermitage Cellulite Control System will help improve skin’s tone, firmness and appearance.

The 2-step system features Stimulating Massage Soap and Firm and Tone Cellulite Control Gel. The soap features unique massage nubs that gently massage the skin, while improving circulation and infusing cellulite-prone areas with Multi-sal encapsulated caffeine. The gel is an advanced solution that contains caffeine, soy, spirulina and carnitine, all which serve as specific cellulite-fighting ingredients with clinically proven benefits. In independent clinical studies, the ingredients in the Cellulite Control Gel were shown to increase skin elasticity by 60 percent, improve skin texture by 50 percent and reduce the appearance of cellulite by up to 50 percent.

“Dermitage products offer skin and body care solutions that work,” says Allison Landis, senior product manager for Dermitage. “Independent clinical research proves the incredible effectiveness of the formulation ingredients. All women deserve a fabulous and effective new way to look and feel their best this summer. There is no doubt that Dermitage will help improve the way women feel about their bodies.”

Now that’s commentary I can get behind (tee hee hee :). Seriously, your addressing the complaints of the anons was right on. How can it hurt if they number the anon with a number. Even if an anon is writing in while another is having two numbers the same is much better that all those anons with no way to identify who you wish to address.

I wanted to address a couple of the anons but it got too confusing as they just kept coming in. I realize you have no control over who gets in so how about identifying the anons by the number that your column uses to count the entries.

When it is an anon just say to commenter #_. If someone answers in between the two anons the anons will not be consistent but this way they can be idenified.

That being said, I would like to address commenter “8 who wrote in yesterday.

We have business as usual in the congress because both houses are full of people like you who continue to put people in for reasons other than their ability to represent the people’s business. We whites in America for the most part go with color first, then religious beliefs, then whether they have a political belief that we agree with.

The dems should attempt to put the bill to a vote and let the repubs filibuster.

As the full moon fades into the Arabian Sea, ship lights still glowing on the horizon, waking birds are already busy with their claims and proclamations. Not long ago after passing over Iran and Western India, Uzzi’s welcomed our arrival seemingly protecting us from the unseen enemy – a reminder that the madness is far from abated.

The mind-sets of the unconscious and unskilled appear relentless in a thirst to transform paradise into a graveyard. Stories managing to get through are heavily censored as independent media we have spoken to thus far are unable to penetrate beyond the myriad of checkpoints. Only government selected human hights investigators are permitted in, complaints sent to Switzerland where they will reside glacier-like. Still it is known atrocities have been committed, libraries burned, precious artifacts destroyed, villages de-populated for military use. Sometimes art may be the only survivor, other times only buried ruins. On our side of the planet the polar opposite where an instance of police brutality or racial strife is broadcast around the globe 24/7.

As I walk out into the darkness on my fifth cup of coffee this balmy poya, I wonder if the blind collective will ever transcend this madness paranoia and fear. As the moon grows larger, dims, loses form and disappears, a new awakening is revealed. As time permits, I shall try to penetrate deeper into this particular distortion for you, sir.

It is a sad poetic cry that bleeds from your descriptive commentary of a reality that the western world knows not. What does it take to transcend the dream state to make the truth a reality in this wikipedia world.

May the blind collective heed your call to dredge through the mess of reality and weed through the paranoia and fear.

Show where the meat of truth is to grasp and give creedence to a world rot with strife hoping for that glimmer of a moonlight of peace.

Men! Both you Dnsr, and Doug are full of shit.
Dnsr for his plea for understanding of the needs of arab men while they have not such consideration for the needs of their arab women.
Do you Dnsr think that arab women if allowed equal access to the education given to the men would not write equally poignant words to express the degradation that their arab men force them to live under.
You hypocritical bastards force your women to wear suffocating clothes, to be controlled by males of any age and yet you go to the rest of the with your pitiful words for yourselves. You use the suffering of your women for your own personal gain.

You are able to get away with this despicable display of self-centeredness because men like Doug never call you on it. Men, they never find it hard to forget the plight of the women while they seek to understand the sufferings of a man.

Have you arabs ever wondered why Allah has forsaken you? It is because you have used the Koran to abuse your females. You nothing but pimps, misogynists, and disgusting pedophiles.

I hope the jews throw all of you oppressors of innocent females out of Israel and force you to take your vile despicable behavior toward your females to those other arab countries.

America is my country I owe some additional information that has come to my attention. Even while the RNC and the special interests they represent are determined to put every effort towards preventing Obama from establishing a energy independence for the US, they are covering their bets by setting up investments to enable them to control the batteries that will be put in all those electric cars.

He who the battery controls will eventually control the auto industry. It is the most expensive and high-tech component in an electric car.

I as a member of the inner sanctum of the club of wealth without borders, I have been offered an opportunity to get in on some of the first investment opportunities.

I think you have made a mistake about Dnsr. I do not think he is an arab. You were correct about what you said about what arab men do to their females. I, too find it difficult to understand men. 10. Anonymous Says:

Food stamps and weatherizing provid funding for programs like food stamps is very stimulative for the economy – in fact it is one of the most stimulative things the government can do. Why? Because what do people do with the food stamps? They go out to the grocery stores and spend/use them. The don’t hoard them or save them or pay off a bill with them. Good all around. And sorry, yes weatherizing a home is not a bad stimulus either. Because 1) someone has to do the work (yes, a job!!!!) to weatherize it; b) it helps the homeowner save on their energy bill – you get a twofer.

  11. Anonymous Says:

You have two issues here.First being the financial sector (on which this blog posts is about). It’s going down n flames. And you have the private sector (to which you and I belong) which is being pulled down in the suction of the financial disaster. If you cease all spending to the private sector you guarantee that it falls into the abyss. That’s the point of the stimulus….propping up the private sector with demand while the financial sector receives some severe thumps to the chest.

As far as paying back the expenditure, it will be paid off when the economy recovers…if smart purchases are made. For example weatherizing leads to reduced energy costs which drives down the cost of energy. The Government is the largest consumer of energy and by reducing thier costs there is a payback.

Other examples are energy independence, infrastructure construction, etc that will not be required when the economy comes back on track. These types of expenditures will have to happen sometime. By doing them now you are saving money later thus we will need to borrow less down the road.

The crisis has nothing to do with conventional or sub-prime mortgages. This crisis is a product of the non-regulation of investment banks who played in the overly leveraged collaterized debt obligations and credit default swap ponzi game. Regional commercial banks are doing fine. In fact they are making a killing charging higher rates for commercial mortgages while they get Fed funds for 1%. The spreads are better now then they were in 2003-2007. The real answer is that failiing investment banks should be taken over and nationalized and fire all the so called wizards of Wall Sstreet. Put some smart government employees making 150K a year in charge- I promise they will do just fine. But that won’t happen- Wall Street has too much influence –

QIGONG IS A GENTLE YET POWERFUL EXERCISE

For many years people went to the gym with visions of six-pack abs and toned thighs dancing in their heads. Plenty still chase those goals, but today many gym patrons are as apt to be chanting as panting. The widespread acceptance of yoga started people down the broader path of mind-body exercise, and now it’s a busy path indeed. One previously obscure practice becoming quite popular is Qigong (pronounced chee-gung or chee kong). A small gym near me has a sign promising “the real Qigong,” while a large plush gym I know is advertising its weekly “fusion” Qigong class. Perhaps the best living proof of Qigong’s acceptance in the Western world is the fact that it cropped up on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” not long ago. However, like with the yoga and pilates crazes, as popularity of Qigong has grown, so too have the variations, leading to potential confusion.
    GENTLE BUT STRONG
To find out what Qigong is all about and what it can do for us, I called Jeffrey Zimmerman, OMD, who teaches it as well as Tai Chi and Optimotion, a mind-body discipline he developed. Dr. Zimmerman explains that there are actually three types of Qigong — “health Qigong” describes the exercise discipline… “medical Qigong,” which is a special type of massage that works on energy blockages… and a martial arts form of it. While it won’t build six-pack abs, health Qigong is said to do the following:
    • Help cleanse the body of toxins
    • Restore energy
    • Reduce stress and anxiety
    • Promote healing
    • Integrate mind and body
    • Increase sense of balance
Some people scoff at the idea that the gentle movements of Qigong contribute to health, but the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine of the National Institutes of Health has been impressed enough to sponsor several studies investigating Qigong’s impact on the health of patients with heart disease, osteoarthritis and obesity. Other researchers have demonstrated that Qigong positively impacts balance (which can help prevent falling) and blood pressure… and we’ll be hearing more study findings in the future.
    HOW QIGONG WORKS
The “qi” in Qigong refers to the energy of the body, better known as chi. “Gong” means assiduous practice, and together they represent a way to harness your chi to help your body become soft, pliable and strong. As such, Dr. Zimmerman says Qigong is the underpinning of many other practices — he likens it to learning the notes and structure of music that enable you to play an instrument. The practice of Qigong includes literally thousands of different forms and movements, including knee bends, hip twists and flowing arm motions that can be done while sitting, lying down, standing up or moving. To the untrained eye it looks similar to Tai Chi, a close relation. Breath is crucial to all postures and movements — the specialized breathing techniques merged with slow movement are what transport the chi into various organs and body parts. Dr. Zimmerman explains that along with increasing fluidity, Qigong creates a deep awareness of the body and its movements. You begin to focus on how you are distributing your weight, how you are balancing and your basic posture, which allows you to feel free and move easier.
Unique to Qigong is that it builds power through lack of tension, says Dr. Zimmerman — he says you can either have tension or you can have energy, but the two cannot co-exist. This is why he is greatly troubled by current hybrids like “power” Qigong, “fusion” Qigong and other versions that attempt to link modern Western physical fitness with this ancient Eastern practice. “These completely miss the point of Qigong,” says Dr. Zimmerman in exasperation. “Qigong teaches fluidity, a concept that is totally opposite of the Western view of exercise. We Americans tend to go to the weak point and focus on ways to strengthen it. Qigong, on the other hand, educates and works with the entire body.” Therefore, Dr. Zimmerman adds, learning Qigong can be a particular challenge for intellectually driven westerners who “have to stop the brain from trying to take over in order to learn it,” he explains.
    TO FIND THE “REAL DEAL”
To find a class that is what Dr. Zimmerman calls “the real deal,” he advises asking around to locate people who are knowledgeable about Qigong. Explore what kind of education the instructor has. Ask if he/she has a background in Chinese or Oriental medicine, how long they’ve been studying Qigong and who they’ve been studying with. He acknowledges it can be difficult to find a teacher qualified in the traditional form of Qigong, although more masters have emigrated from China in recent years. Take the time to observe a few classes with a particular instructor before making a commitment to it, though. Qigong should never be painful or tense, so if you see signs of those, keep looking. The teacher should move smoothly and gracefully, and be quick to help students get past their tension. Good teachers adapt Qigong’s patterns to the needs of their students. Taking a twice weekly class will put you on your way to learning this demanding art, says Dr. Zimmerman. And while it takes many years to master, even a shorter practice of Qigong will be beneficial for both a newfound physical freedom and to enhance your practice of Tai Chi, yoga and even other sports.
