Readers: This one’s for all of you.

Bob: Real life is funny indeed.

Mike: All that keeps coming to my mind is EVERYONE deserves good health care coverage. What kind of person is a person who refuses that privilege to ANYONE? It is really quite simple when one looks at it logically: Basically the Republicans and anyone not supporting reformed health care, is voting against EVERYONE having that privilege. Plain and simple. Why would any decent person not want health care for EVERYONE? Obviously, many people are unfortunately ‘not decent’ people.

Viv: Speaking of the obvious…when will humans get a clue? As Doug pointed out, ‘They are acting like they can kill a bull with a squirt gun…’. Thanks for keeping us in the loop of the happenings. As always, I enjoy hearing from the TAO in any manner.

Orgun: I have to say that I agree with your cousin. Women are in the position now where change can happen. The men you are alining yourselves with need to fight for your freedoms, your equality, as if they were fighting for their own. It will not sit well with Madaline should the men not stand by their word to support the women, as they said they would do. Be strong….don’t give up.

DOES SUGAR MAKE YOU LESS OF A MAN?

This century’s version of “real men don’t eat quiche” might turn out to be “real men don’t eat sugar”… based on a recent study in which testosterone levels were found to plunge after men consumed sugar.

Researchers at the Harvard Reproductive Endocrine Sciences Center and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston gave a glucose tolerance test to 74 men, average age 51.

This is a standard test in which subjects drink a 50-gram, 75-gram or 100-gram dose of pure glucose (in this case, 75 grams), after which their blood levels of sugar and insulin are measured at 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes. Researchers also measured testosterone levels and found that for 73 of the 74 subjects, testosterone was significantly reduced after drinking the glucose.

Aside from the fact that few men feel comfortable messing with their testosterone levels, another reason this is important is that it demonstrates how eating sugar could have a profound effect on the results of medical tests for hormones.

Where men had previously been told that they didn’t need to fast prior to having blood drawn for such a test, it appears that the results are skewed by blood sugar levels — so fasting may be necessary.

Testosterone, the major male sex hormone, affects energy, well-being and libido and helps maintain bone density, muscle mass and even red blood cell production.

Testosterone production peaks in adolescence for males, and though there are considerable individual variations, it generally begins to wane around age 40 as men experience andropause (see Daily Health News, April 22, 2008, for more information on this male hormonal shift).

So it is no wonder that testosterone replacement therapy has become big business and is frequently prescribed by doctors who advertise themselves as specialists in “antiaging medicine.”

When I asked our medical editor, Andrew L. Rubman, ND, about these findings, he said they make perfect sense. “Men are becoming aware of the fact that stressful lives, poor diet and poor lifestyle can depress testosterone levels,” he said, “so it’s wise to now look at yet another factor —

sugar — that influences this important hormone.” He notes that not only is this a significant finding that will likely impact how testing is done going forward, it also raises questions about how reliable results are for men whose testosterone levels were checked with a nonfasting test.

“It may be that not only do they not need it, but men may be doing themselves harm by taking testosterone that they don’t need or by taking the wrong dosage.”

Interestingly, the men who were the most “normal” in their response to the glucose test had the greatest drop in their testosterone levels, though Dr. Rubman said this isn’t as surprising as it might seem.

He pointed out that people who focus on eating pure and organic foods and who don’t take many medications often can feel the effect of a single aspirin, whereas a drug abuser could take several codeine tablets and hardly notice. The effect with sugar is similar — a little bit has a greater impact in people who don’t eat much of it.

His advice is to consider sugar a “recreational substance, to be enjoyed as a condiment and in close proximity to meals.” He suggests that men taking testosterone replacement ask their doctor for a retest of their levels after three days of simple sugar avoidance with a 24-hour urine catch and an overnight fast.

(Your last meal before fasting should be light protein, such as chicken or fish, and a salad.) “The results will be much more clinically significant and will help keep your doctor from giving you an unintentional overdose of testosterone,” said Dr. Rubman, adding that “sugar is like cheap wine — the pleasurable effect is short-lived and the payback may not be worth it.”

    HOT & COLD SEX

After his exam the doctor said to the elderly man: ‘You appear to be in
good health. Do you have any medical concerns you would like to ask me
    about?’

‘In fact, I do,’ said the old man. ‘After I have sex I am usually cold and
chilly, and then, after I have sex with her the second time, I am usually
    hot and sweaty.’

After examining his elderly wife, the doctor said: ‘Everything appears to
be fine. Do you have any medical concerns that you would like to discuss
    with me?’

The lady replied that she had no questions or concerns.

The doctor then said to her: ‘Your husband had an unusual concern. He
claims that he is usually cold and chilly after having sex with you the
first time, and then hot and sweaty after the second time. Do you know
    why?’
“Oh that crazy old fart,’ she replied. ‘That’s because the first time is
usually in January and the second time is in August.

Guam -  One of the engines on a B-2 bomber caught fire while the plane was preparing for takeoff from Andersen Air Force Base Friday morning.

Andersen officials referred all comment to Air Force Pacific Command in Hawaii where Lt. Col. Kenneth Hoffman confirmed the fire.
A statement from Lt. Col Hoffman called it an “engine bay” fire and described it as “minor” saying it occurred during a routine engine start at about 7am Friday morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
He said one ground crew member was treated for possible inhalation of a fire suppressant.
Lt. Col. Hoffman’s release is printed in full below:
“A B-2 aircraft deployed to Andersen AFB, Guam, experienced a minor engine fire during a routine engine start at approximately 7 a.m. Friday (Guam local day & time). The engine bay fire was quickly extinguished by assigned maintenance, ground crew and fire department personnel.   ??The B-2 aircraft is deployed to Andersen AFB as part of the U.S. Air Force’s routine force deployments in support of the Pacific Air Forces and the U.S. Pacific Command.  The aircraft is homebased at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.  ??Post-event maintenance assessment of the aircraft engine bay is underway.  If required, a board of officers will convene for a more formal investigation of the event.  ??The mission of the 36th Wing is to employ, deploy, integrate and enable air and space forces from the most forward U.S. sovereign Air Force base in the Pacific.”
Lt. Col Hoffman was unable to do a taped telephone interview but did respond to the following questions via email:
?Q. Do you know caused the fire??A.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.??Q. Can you say the extent of damage??A. Not at this time.  Assessment of the damage is ongoing.  As always, a?thorough maintenance investigation and follow up will be performed.  The?fire was contained in the engine bay and quickly extinguished by the base?fire department.??Q. Were there injuries??A. One individual was seen at the medical clinic for potential inhalation of?fire suppressant.??Q. Have other B-2 been grounded while this fire is investigated??A. No.??Q: When was the last time a B-2 had a major incident at Andersen??A: On February 23, 2008, a B-2 crashed on the runway shortly after takeoff?from Andersen Air Force Base.  Fortunately, the crew ejected safely.  That?crash was the first for the B-2.

The first thing I do in the morning is take my mac to the loo so I can be alone with you. I have found that if I don’t get you, the loo and a fag in the morning, the rest of my day is shot.

I’m on holiday for a week so I have much more time to watch the telly. It was wicked hearing you tell Madaline to “calm the seas.”

People here acted as if I was a nutter when I assured them that Hawaii had nothing to worry about. When I said they might as well leave the motor ways open cause there will be no crashing across them, they snickered. Now they hate me smiling at them while they stuff their faces with fairy cakes because I was right.

For the first time I was proud to be a woman in this shitty man’s world. The men here think the only thing women are for is running around starkers in a car park.

Thanks Michelle for showing them otherwise.

    Michelle

I agree with what you said to Mike. Who wouldn’t want health care for everyone in her/his country if not the world. I read this on Huffington Post.
    ———————–
In all of the debates about health care reform, one of the stubborn realities is that neither the Obama plan, nor any of the Republican alternatives, will seriously alter the trajectory of relentless cost-escalation in health care. If you look at the Administration’s own projections of federal deficits in the next decade and after 2020, virtually all of the alarming growth in deficit spending is Medicare and Medicaid.

And that’s only the public part of the health care bill. In 2009, total health care costs increased to 17.3 percent of GDP, with escalating premiums eating into both corporate profits and worker take home pay. The consensus among the usual policy experts is that there is no good solution. The march of technology and demography will just continue to raise health costs.

But you can reach that conclusion only by ignoring how the rest of the club of affluent countries manages to insure everyone for 9 or 10 percent of GDP, and have a healthier and longer-lived population, to boot. They do it, of course, through universal, socialized insurance.

There is no single formula. The Canadians do it with a single payer system for the insurance part, but physicians are private. The Brits have an integrated National Health Service. The Germans achieve near-universal coverage through a system of nonprofit health insurance plans.

What every other nation has in common is that they have taken the commercialism out of their health systems. As a consequence, they can direct health spending to areas of medical need rather than letting the market direct health dollars to areas of greatest profit. And with everyone covered, they can use highly cost-effective strategies for prevention, wellness, and public health. That’s how you cover everyone for ten percent of GDP.

Our one island of single-payer medicine, Medicare, is phenomenally popular — so popular that the Republicans’ most effective attack on the Obama plan is that it would divert some money from Medicare. The Republicans, on the one hand, fiercely attack “government-run health insurance,” while on the other they defend Medicare (which they would just as soon privatize).

But most Democratic politicians and policy wonks behave as if the option of a national health plan simply did not exist. These blinders are the result of the immense power of the medical-pharmaceutical-insurance complex combined with a failure of political leadership. Sooner or later, mainstream politicians will stumble their way to some form of single payer because there are no good alternatives unless we want to spend half of our GDP on health care.

In that regard, the best things about the still inconclusive end-game of Obama’s efforts to enact his plan are that (1) the administration finally broke with the insurance industry, and (2) Obama is starting to get over the delusion of bipartisanship. So if we don’t need either Harry and Louise, or John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, as part of the health-reform coalition, we might as well do it right.

With Obama’s health summit behind us, there will now be a mad scramble for Democratic votes in the House and Senate to pursue the strategy that Obama should have used all along — a Democrats-only bill relying on 51 votes in the Senate via the reconciliation procedure.

The problem is that Obama may have missed the moment. The prolonged, enervating battle for health reform, using a badly flawed bill, has scared off both conservative and liberal Democrats in both houses. The bill is politically toxic to legislators facing re-election, for good reason. The original formula, designed to enlist insurance industry allies, required a mandate to purchase insurance, diversion of Medicare funds, and unpopular taxes. Now that Obama has broken with the industry, an entirely different formula should be possible.

Alas, we are too far down the present road to advance single-payer in this legislative session. The president has done nothing to move public opinion in that direction, and has backed away even from the truncated version of it, the so-called public option.

I would put the odds at about one in three of Obama succeeding. Several Democrats who voted for the House-passed bill in November by the narrow margin of 220-215 have now defected, and several more are increasingly gun-shy. I don’t much like this bill, but I still hope it passes so that the Republicans don’t get rewarded for their relentless obstructionism.

Win or lose, the next great push should be for single-payer, assuming Democrats have a working majority again in foreseeable future. Given the collateral damage of Obama’s strategy, that could be a long time coming.

It amazes me how easy it is for politicians, ‘talk show radio hosts’, and the media to persuade the American voters. It’s like the American voter don’t have a brain of their own, can’t do their own research and make their own decisions.

They really have to rely on the media to do and think what the media tell them. Even something as important as the heath care reform, something that will work in favor of the average joe,

the Americans let themselves be brainwashed by those who are really in favor of the insurance companies. It’s funny to me to hear people say that they don’t want it because it’s a government take over, or it is socialism (listening to talk radio).

What they probably don’t know is that these are scare tactics used by whoever they are listening to, to bring down the health car bill, because they know that if it passes it will be a great achievement for the Democrats. I wish the American people were smarter.

As a white woman, I hate to admit it. At first I agreed with those that claimed the reaction was not racist, but justified.

After reading your comments, I decided to re read the comments. I found that I had subconsciously sided with the white commenters. It took a different opinion by a white woman to make me take a second look.

My second look was as your first was. It is obvious that the commenters who are attempting so arduously to make a point that they are being unbiased with their view points are covering their bigotry with sophistry.

Most of the time that sophistry works when the listener is predisposed to accepting it because of their own racial bias. I was.

I enclose a comment from Soncerai93. I cannot explain why it made no impact on me the first time I read it. Except to say perhaps my racial bias conditioned me to ignore it.

“Mr. Kimmel’s post is exactly what we need to help get perspective. He appreciates the inapporpriateness of the outburst while at the same time framing perspective. We are not at the feel good era that many thought would happen voting for Barak Obama. This truth is what it is. The election and the resulting ragefilled displays are symptomatic of deep-seated and as uet unresolved hostility. The author did not say McEnroe et al did the right thing. He reminds us how we’ve celebrated such boorish behavior. He doesn’t say that Serena was right. What he explains brilliantly is why the response to her is so different. Truth hurts.”

We are the way we are because of our upbringing. I hope from this moment on, I will be a better person.

Why are we concerned about aliens when we can not collect our garbage?
    ———
Birmingham native knee deep in Guam garbage mess
By Russell Hubbard — The Birmingham News
    February 28, 2010, 8:30AM
Imagine owning a home and business and not knowing if the trash would be collected for weeks at a time.

Then imagine that happening in a climate where the temperature rarely falls below 80 degrees, the only landfill dates from World War II, and the garbage utility is operating under Justice Department sanctions.

That is what life is like for Birmingham native David Manning. Manning, 60, is the financial professional who was placed in charge of public garbage disposal in the island nation of Guam, deep in the western Pacific Ocean.

Birmingham native David Manning’s job is to clean up the landfill mess on the island of Guam. (Special)
“Trash collection,” he said in a interview from his Nashville office, “is just something you don’t really think about until its not there.”

There are some rough parallels to Guam and its garbage and Jefferson County and its sewers. In 2004, the U.S. territory’s solid waste department was cited by the Environmental Protection Agency for violating the Clean Water Act for more than two decades. A consent decree was signed, requiring the island to close the old landfill and build another one. Bonds were sold to raise money for the project, and monthly fees have skyrocketed.

Manning entered the picture about two years ago when the federal judge monitoring the consent decree appointed a receiver, or neutral third party to supervise the garbage system’s reform. That work went to the Virginia-based waste consulting firm Gershman Brickner & Bratton, which hired Manning for the job.

He has traveled the 9,000 miles between Tennessee and Guam 10 times since he took over the garbage system on the island. It takes about 21 hours and usually involves an overnight in Hawaii.

Gershman Brickner has a team on the ground full-time in Guam who manage the daily details, while Manning handles the finances, supervises construction of a new landfill and provides updates to the U.S. District Court judge who keeps tabs on the situation.

The 1974 graduate of the University of Alabama inherited a real mess. The Ordot Dump, which was used by the Japanese military during its occupation of Guam in World War II, has been leaking contaminated water for decades, and it winds up in the rivers.

“It is literally a mountain of trash,” Manning said. “It has ruined what is an otherwise picturesque valley.”

Soon, a new landfill will take its place, which is why Manning and his team devised a $200 million bond sale to raise money. The new dump is under construction.

Another problem was just getting the garbage picked up. Service was so sporadic, people stopped counting on it all together. That has changed since the receiver was appointed. The garbage is now picked up on a regular schedule, and millions of dollars have been trimmed from the garbage system’s budget.

There has been a price. Residential rates have increased from $10 a month to $30 a month. Per-ton rates at the landfill for heavy users have almost doubled to $127 a ton. Manning said it has been unavoidable.

“The people who use the system are the ones who have to pay for it,” he said. “There is no way around that.”

Manning is accustomed to navigating the thorny thicket were government and money meet. After earning a masters degree in public administration, he went to work for the Tennessee Budget Office, eventually working his way up to the No. 2 slot in the state treasury department. He then became the state’s finance director, a title he later held for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

Guam, Manning said, is warm and friendly, and highly Americanized from the constant presence since 1944 of U.S. soldiers, sailors, air crews and Marines. He said he has found a good number of Southeastern Conference football fans among the people living there, and has become accustomed to watching college football on Sunday, due to the time difference.

“Sunday morning, at that,” he said. “But I am doing my part to represent Tide pride while in Guam.”

As for Jefferson County’s sewer mess — $3.2 billion is owed to bondholders, the system is in default and rates keep rising — Manning said ratepayers are the ones who will eventually pay the bill, regardless. With that in mind, he said county commissioners should quickly formulate a course of action, and proceed with it. There are many options, he said, none perfect.

“The main thing is to get it behind you,” Manning said. “All the endless debate doesn’t get the problem solved.”

With a rack, put socks, underwear and baby clothes at the bottom, hand towels and young children’s clothes in the middle, and other clothing on the top. Put the rack over an air vent if possible. If you do the laundry before bed and put the rack over a vent, it should be dry by morning.

    Before Takeoff

Guam – One of the engines on a B-2 bomber caught fire while the plane was preparing for takeoff from Andersen Air Force Base Friday morning.

The B-2 aircraft is deployed to Andersen AFB as part of the U.S. Air Force’s routine force deployments in support of the Pacific Air Forces and the U.S. Pacific Command. The aircraft is homebased at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.

Post-event maintenance assessment of the aircraft engine bay is underway. If required, a board of officers will convene for a more formal investigation of the event.

The mission of the 36th Wing is to employ, deploy, integrate and enable air and space forces from the most forward U.S. sovereign Air Force base in the Pacific.”

Lt. Col Hoffman was unable to do a taped telephone interview but did respond to the following questions via email:

    Q. Do you know caused the fire?
    A. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

    Q. Can you say the extent of damage?
    A. Not at this time. Assessment of the damage is ongoing. As always, a thorough maintenance investigation and follow up will be performed. The fire was contained in the engine bay and quickly extinguished by the base
    fire department.

    Q. Were there injuries?
    A. One individual was seen at the medical clinic for potential inhalation of fire suppressant.

    Q. Have other B-2 been grounded while this fire is investigated?
    A. No.

Q: When was the last time a B-2 had a major incident at Andersen?
A: On February 23, 2008, a B-2 crashed on the runway shortly after takeoff from Andersen Air Force Base. Fortunately, the crew ejected safely. That crash was the first for the B-2.

    Hi Mischa, great song.

Bob, yesterday I almost filtered latte’ through my nose over that iPod comment and todays made me laugh out loud also, keep em’ coming, makes my day and given all the other political and economic scheissa on the table that could bring me down it just feels good to laugh so I try to do it often, thanks.

Kate, thanks for speaking up, I’m glad you’re feeling healthy and losing weight. I think sticking to it and knowing when is enough weight loss is key. I read your posted article. The #1 thing on that list if I were to pick one is ‘planning your meals’ that alone will keep you on path, then if you fudge it a little here and there, you get back ‘on plan’ asap, this is not only for losing weight, maintaining weight, it’s just good in general bc then I always have enough good foods around so when I’m famished I will still make a healthier choice, calorie counting aside. I’ve never been big into appetite suppresants but an all natural one is worth a shot, and I love pine nuts and they are good for you, so give it a go. I have a fiber packet I use to ‘fill up’ if I need to get a quickie shot of something if I’m runningh an errand on the way home from the gym and need an extra 10 minutes or so. I’m not into big brekkies either, I usually begin with a whey protein shake or oatmeal w/raisiins, go to the gym and then eat protein when I return, eggs, chicken, etc…and then a shot of protein and good carbs every 3 hours or so, smaller meals work for me, evens the blood sugar as well.

Shall I add more exercises, food suggestions and/or more unsolicited advice about sex – hahahaha…

Today at the gym a woman I know caught up with me and started walking different, I asked her what she was doing, she said I’m trying to imitate your walk, I laughed and said WHY? she looked at me serious, and said bc you walk like a woman who truly likes herself and I want that. So, of course, I gave her the pyshical beginning, shoyulders up, back and down, ta’s north, tummy up against the spine and tush clutching that G note : ) it’s a great start…I’ll give her my two on the rest in days ahead, she loves my parenting skills also, I take my girl 2x’s a week and people often comment on our interaction, and that makes my day, too.

RE: health care, yes, Misch I agree but repugs I know usually have good health care and no they don’t give a flying one that I don’t or an OTW doesn’t, I mean, until they can’ty get their daily services provided by OTW’s and even then they’d just wonder when are they going to get betetr so they can do my (fill in the blank) I have heard this expressed out loud before in so many words, yikes…

RE: your comment about ‘sensitive’ people, yes, while I was ‘just noticing’ I noticed exactly that as well which is why when commenting to Jorge last week I made that decision to stop calling myself ‘sensitive’ bc that now means to me that said ‘sensitive’ soul controls the situtation bc it’s their feelings we’re all supposed to watch out for, well, we all rate in terms of deserving a respectful delivery of bad news, expressing anger, diff of opinion, etc, why shoudl one group (or me) get more tender treatment when we all should get that kind of thoughtful treatement anyway? Just my observation…

I ‘just noticed’ that while watching a TV trailer for a first in a while (I also do not watch TV, I check news constantly on my iphone and watch scheduled Tivo shows only and it’s a rare viewing lately) that a mid-twenties woman was bagging on her mother’s (about late forties) date and possible night of sex, by saying eeooww, I found that so distasteful, in our culture, a few wrinkles and you’re outta there, NOT, now just to illustrate my point I had a dinner last week with an old friend, he’s Norwegian, his mother and sister/bros were in town and a granddaughter, so I looked at his mother and said you look so good, so happy, what’s your secret? (she’s 82) she said, Lillian, find yourself a sweet boyfriend and have sex with him as often as you both can. We all laughed but not at her, very much with her and there’s was no flinching of eooww or anything at all like it, in fact, I looked at her and told her, I revere you. She winked and said do as I said and I’ll revere you back, gotta love older people…they just tell it : )

Ok, there’s my two…working at home again so I’ll catch y’all later, just for the heck of it, HI Al and Howie : ) hope you’re both well today.

Hi Zen Lill. I can only write for myself but I think we are OK. I am a bit anxious about my surgery coming up soon. On March 9th I am going to see an Oncologist Vascular Surgeon. We will discuss the options and procedures he will use to get to my tumor which is located in my chest.

I am concerned about this surgery and even more concerned after I awaken and am told the prognosis.

I thank you once again fot the Healing Vibes you sent our way with your Yoga class.

You are a true blog friend and I am happy to have met you here.

  14. Charles Says:

I am black and sick of the shit white people get away with in my country. OJ Simpson’s is having the suit he wore during his trial put in the Smithsonian Institute.

Let me get this straight white america is saying that a civil trial has more weight than a criminal trial if the civil achieves the result you f**king hypocrites want.

O.J. Simpson was found NOT Guilty in a criminal court by a jury of his peers just like white people are every day in America.

The difference is that you white hypocrites weren’t satisfied. So you put together a a majority white jury to screw him. Ron Goldman and the Browns basically used white bigotry to loot OJ Simpson and his family.

The size of the award given the white families was more than 10 times the awards people are given in trials of people in other wrongful deaths. Even when awards were given the judge unilaterally reduced the awards calling the excessive.

But apparently no award is too excessive for a death of a white by a black. So now the crook Ron Brown is going after the suit OJ was wearing so that it can be donated to the Smithsonian Institute.

Why to the Smithsonian? So that white american can memorialize and establish to OTWs that if we believe that you have wronged one of us we will hound you until we get our pound of flesh.

The white news media is making sure that we know what white america is doing to this black man. The news streams are declaring on every station that the goldmans and browns are sticking it to OJ again.

This country sucks! It sucks because the majority of white america is either a pool of disgusting bigotry or easily motivated by a minority of disgusted bigotry into actions that bring about the same results.

Those results are that the country gets run by the greediest bastards in the world.

  15. Keith Says:

I remember someone writing in a while back saying he or she was embarrassed to be white sometimes because we basically control what happens in this country through our voting majority.

It is true that we control both houses of Congress especially in the Senate with 99 of 100 members. And this is true on virtually all levels of the state and municipal levels.

What have we done with this control is what you see today. So what are going to do about it? We are going to react to the election of a black president by forming an all white party called the Tea party to make sure that this doesn’t happen again.

This morning I am watching Bunning a republican from Kentucky obstruct more than a million people from getting the money they need to make ends meet in this terrible economy brought on by the incompetence by the Bush Administration.

Why is it that the stupidest elected white representatives keep getting elected in the South and or racist pockets of America?

I am watching Bunning from Kentucky make an ass of himself and the white race. At least those who have continued to send him to the Senate year after year.

Kentucky is just another inbred state of white supremacists. Look at the Senate. The South’s representatives are by and large white supremacists. Take for example the races in Texas, we whites are claiming that it’s about Washington.

What bullshit! We whites of Texas know that it is about race. White America wants to take back our country. So the Tea Party is getting so much play by the press. All hypocritical.

That word is used so much when referring to my race lately. Right or wrong it is certainly true here. The Tea party if about race. The white race or rather the anger of the white man. Sure our women are important when it comes to making sure we have the votes.

But let’s face it, they are as they are portrayed, supporters of their men. White women left to their own resources would starve to death. The majority of them couldn’t make a decision to save their lives.

They wouldn’t cooperate with white women who could tell them what to do because they need a white man to verify anything the woman tells them. I love white women because they inherently know that man knows best.

OTW women tend to think they are as good as a man in anything. There is something godless about that.

  16. Doug Says:

I’m a black man in New York. I am writing in to say I couldn’t be happier about what is happening to our black governor. After he refused to appoint the Kennedy daughter to Hilary’s seat, I have hoped that he would not succeed in being reelected.

To me it was a disgrace that a black turned his back on the President John Kennedy’s child. He embarrassed her by not telling her he had no intention of appointing her to the seat.

The fact that he may be thrown out before he finish is term would be icing on the cake for me. He will get very little support from the black community.
