Get Out The Vote

Good morning!

As I said yesterday, this is the last weekend to get out there and do your stuff…Get Out The Vote. If you haven’t participated at all, here’s your chance to be a part of it. If you have, how about giving a few more hours of your time today?

I’m helping out today because I love being with like-minded people who have a passion for the growth and success of this country…people who want equality and opportunity for all.

Grab a few girlfriends or guy friends, jump into the vibe of grassroots campaigning and experience the power of choice. Choice. We are so blessed with the freedom to choose. The freedom to choose what we do each day, the freedom to choose  this over that, the freedom to choose who we want to represent us, fight for us…If nothing else, let your freedom of choice inspire you…motivate you to do something, not only because you have the freedom to choose but because you want to protect our rights of those freedoms…and because you want to know that you had a voice in the decisions that were made, and will be made, that affect your daily life every day.

As a woman, I can not imagine the time when my voice meant nothing…when my thoughts and choices were disregarded…not even considered. It was not too long ago. I am so grateful for the women, for the people, who fought for us to have a voice.

It is a very important election. Don’t let your too busy life, your shortsightedness, or your apathy, etc., get in the way of exercising your freedoms.  Let’s not let this freedom be taken for granted…let’s not let this freedom go to waste. I can say one thing for sure. “Whichever way this election turns out, I will know that I spoke out loud for what I wanted and I did what needed to be done to make my voice and my vote count.”

I am a woman with a voice and I want to be heard – Don’t you? Then get out the vote, and vote.
