The Other Palin: “Abstinence Role Model” Goes Out With The “Middle Finger”
Posted by Michelle Moquin on November 26th, 2010
Good morning!
I HOPE Everyone enjoyed a very untraditional Thanksgiving celebration!
Here is an article that shows the hypocrisy of the Right. As if they couldn’t find a better role model for this message to their kids. It shows the kids that the parents are as full of BS as the message.
Bristol Palin & The Situation Talk Abstinence, Condoms (VIDEO)
The Situation and Bristol Palin have teamed up for a new PSA to prevent teen pregnancy. In the skit, Bristol promotes abstinence while the Situation advocates safe sex.
“I know you’re all about that abstinence thing, but come on, B-Palin, are you serious?” he asks. “You’re not gonna hook up before you’re married? For real?”
“For real,” she says. He goes on to offer her Magnum condoms, which she declines.
Last year Bristol was named ambassador to the Candies Foundation, which aims to educate teens about the consequences of pregnancy.
Bristol received the lowest score on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Monday night despite having a personal best performance.
Oh and speaking of Dancing With The Stars, Bristol Palin didn’t exactly go out gracefully. My mother who is so into the show, read to me last night what Bristol said during the finale show. Let me just say, it isn’t exactly something I would want to hear from a supposed role model. Just another example of Right-wing hypocrisy.
“Going out there and winning this would mean a lot,” Bristol told the Dancing with the Stars audience during a clip package on the finale. “It would be like a big middle finger to all the people out there that hate my mom and hate me.”
Readers: Yep, she proved it…fruit doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Just like mom, Bristol doesn’t just want to defeat you, she wants to crush anyone who opposes her. I just want to say to her, “Oh, grow up”, but then, as we all know, her mother never did.
If you have anything to say, say it here. Blog me.
Peace out.
Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.
Gratefully your blog host,

Mildred, I’m not offended at all and I’m waaaay past being sensitive to being taken out here (note my comment the other day about giving anyone enough clout to hurt or offend me), thanks for your input though, of course I still dint like a gang attack though on a blog I’ve noticed someone will always take my words out of context and I’m still standing : ) (that’s for you only Mildred ; )
I’m sorry I’m on iPhone – thank you for the input on my ‘what’s up’ question. As I suspected a self respecting sister would handle it with her man not take out another female over his behavior.
Males are totally kidding themselves that we aren’t checking our the eye candy but I think the ‘fairer sex’ has our discretion skills down to the point of non-detection, as it should be. I would not openly dis a man I’m out with like that bc to me lookers are a dome a dozen if I don’t notice this one in all his glorious details there’ll be another along soon…no big deal : ) (dang is that smiley face offensive?)
Sarah, wow, I’ve got no words for your narrative though it looks like your signing yourself up for a life of misery. Seems you gave talent you just need to cash in in it, and is being not talented a reason to marry? I’m not sure if your meaning there. No one is optionless unless they choose to be – disclaimer: I never said it was easy to do though the blaming of your circumstances on anyone but yourself would be minimized. And if I offended you…well, you decide if I meant to help or hurt you, based on my past weeks comments I would say – neither – just take stock of your own role in YOUR life, responsibility and accountability along with no lying will set you free babe.
Ruth, hate to ask bc I know you’d be forthcoming, but, I will ask. Any word on anonz state if health/well being? I hope he’s comfortably recovering.
Misch, sorry I cannot watch the video. I flatly refuse to have anything to do with furthering the ‘careers’ of the P family, discussion of this bunch makes me nauseous : (

The Palin furor only emphasizes the claim by some OTWs that our race is full of bigots that will put any white candidate into office as long as they are running against OTWs or a philosophy that we believe represents a threat to our dominance of the electoral process.
I would like to think that the majority of my race can make intelligent decisions based on the facts, but after what we just sent to Congress, I can no longer hold that view.
Let’s hope we wise up before some group is capable of driving us into the sea.

Sure it would mean a lot to white people and to OTWs. To us whites it would appear to be another nail in the coffin of Obama’s chances to win a second term. We would be saying loud and clear, if you are not white who cares what your talent is, we will win because we have the voting numbers in our favor.
Notice Bristol never mentioned winning because she is the most talented, she wants to win to show those that disagree with her mother that their opinions don’t matter because they have the votes. And the vote is for the white competitor only.
So what does it tell the OTWs? It tells you easily divided shit heads that you will always remain second to the white race in America. And Obama’s brief representation of your possibilities in our society is over.

The Right Bed Can Ease Back Pain
Baljinder Bathla, MD

People with back pain often think that a very firm mattress is best. Not true.
In a study published in The Lancet, 313 individuals with low-back pain slept on either a firm or a medium-firm coil mattress.
After 90 days, the participants with the medium-firm mattresses had less pain in bed, upon rising and during the day than those with firm mattresses. Other misconceptions about beds and back pain…
Misconception: Everyone with back pain feels the pain when he/she first wakes up — so you can’t tell if the mattress is a problem or not.
Fact: Most back pain is mildest in the morning, before you get out of bed and begin moving. If you wake up stiff and sore, your mattress may be to blame.
Try sleeping on a different mattress — in the guest room, at a friend’s, in a hotel — and see if you notice an improvement when you get up.
Misconception: Heavier people with back pain need soft beds.
Fact: Everyone needs enough support during the night to keep the spine in a normal position. If the spine sinks into a sagging bed, the muscles are strained.
Heavier people and those who sleep on their backs tend to need firmer mattresses. Side and stomach sleepers need softer beds.
Misconception: A foam pad or an entire mattress made of foam helps relieve back pain.
Fact: There are two kinds of foam generally available — egg-crate and memory foam. Egg-crate foam creates a layer of softness but does not change the support beneath.
Memory foam is sensitive to temperature and conforms to the body. However, there is no scientific evidence that either kind of foam reduces back pain.
Misconception: Adjustable beds can ease back pain.
Fact: Some adjustable beds are filled with air or water that can be pumped in or out. Other types have joints that allow parts of the bed to be propped at different angles. There are no authoritative studies showing that adjustable beds help reduce back pain.
Misconception: You can’t tell in the store if the mattress is right for you.
Fact: Trying out a mattress in the store can help you determine if it’s comfortable. Lie on each mattress for at least five minutes. Start on your back, without a pillow.
Your hand should fit snugly in the small of your back. Lying on your side, you shouldn’t notice significant pressure on your hips or shoulders. Choose a retailer that will allow you to return a mattress if it isn’t comfortable. These include Sleepy’s and 1800Mattress.com. (You may have to pay an exchange fee.)
