Good morning!

President Obama spoke last night on the pressing and very serious hot topic of the moment: The *Debt Ceiling. Did you watch? And did you watch Boehner’s response speech?

Here it is:

Did it make you want to cry out of frustration and anger? It did for me.

Switch on over to Jon Stewart’s “Armadebtdon 2011″

As America heads toward an economic crisis unless an agreement can be reached about raising our debt ceiling, Jon Stewart wonders why it’s so hard for this 112th Congress to do what’s been done 172 times in the past. He further pointed out how the ceiling was raised 17 times under President Reagan, five times under Bush, four under Clinton and seven times under George W. Bush.”

I’ll tell you why Jon. It’s because the republicans will do whatever it takes to make Obama fail. And yes, at the expense of our country. It is as simple as that, and has been said by many here besides myself. In my opinion, anyone who sees it any other way is simple blind to the racist reality.

We can laugh at Jon Stewart; I’m laughing too, because sometime in the insaneness of it all one has to just laugh. But the reality is the debt ceiling isn’t a joke. (Nor is racism.)

“It is a dangerous game we’ve never played before,” Obama said, “and we can’t afford to play it now.”

Anything to say? Say it here. Blog me.

Oh…How could I forget, Obama asked us to take action…tell Congress how we feel. It seems last night many did, and the websites were jammed and shut down. Don’t give up…give your two.  Now is not the time to be quiet.

********

Holly: I 100% agree with you. And while the information in my computer means nothing to anyone else, it means a huge amount to me. It has been debilitating, stressful, and exhausting, to say the least. And I learned some big lessons along the way.

Playing the skin flute might not make you more brilliant, but I bet you’ll master it and whoever is on the receiving end will love you more for it. :)

Anonymous: I posted this awhile ago, but thanks for reposting! We can not see something like this enough.

Bill: Thanks for sharing your story. I am curious to hear more about your planet since Earth is 300 years ahead of you technologically. If you don’t mind me asking, what is it that you are stationed to do here on Earth? And interesting that you don’t need a “suit”. – How does that work?

Peace out.

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

  1. Larry Says:

If anyone in America has doubted the racist atmosphere of America, this present situation should open their eyes.

Imagine the degree of racial hatred that must beat in the breast of a person who would sacrifice the financial security of a nation of 350,000,000 people to prevent a man of color from regaining the head of its government.

If they are willing to do that at this moment, imagine what they have done in the name of racial hatred in the past.

And what they will continue to do to insure that White skin prevails in this nation.

As Robert said they went to the extraordinary length to invent a religion based on the premise that Hebrews 600 years before Jesus Christ wanted to become white men.

Although the prevailing wisdom at the time was that the world was flat, these men decided to risk life and limb to set sail for a land they didn’t know existed to found a place where they could turn into white men and found the mormon church.

The fact that such a ludicrous idea could be so widely accepted by white america is evidence of the innate ability of this race to accept any premise that will catapult their race above all others.

Understanding that should make it easy for OTWs to not only understand those whites who would be willing to go along with the murder and genocide of all other races at the urging of Hitler.

How much difference is that than the british proudly bragging that the “sun never sits on the british empire,” or those american whites willing to go to war to preserve their right to subjugate, enslave, rape and murder the OTWs in America.

Racism is a neurosis that is part of the genes of the white race. That neurosis is a hair’s breadth away from becoming a psychosis in most of them.

That racial psychosis is the stage of excessive and irrational behavior the people of Germany were in when they set about to subjugate, enslave, murder, and commit genocide against the OTWs of the world.

The british and other white nations have all experienced some degree of these stages of mental illness in their relationship with OTWs throughout history.

It is not too difficult to send most whites into the psychosis stage of racism. That is evident by the fact that the republican party stays alive and powerful by appealing to the emotional elements that move whites from their natural mental state of racial neurosis to one of increasing degrees approaching a state of racial psychosis.

At that stage any assertion will be followed even the idea that they must exterminate the OTW.

Should any OTW doubt this he/she need only examine history and follow the states of racial neurosis that the particular white nation was in when it committed the atrocities it did against that particular OTW.

Today in America we are in a stage of the neurosis where most white americans are willing to accept any reason to justify their racism against Obama. It gets extremely close to becoming psychotic when they become willing to sacrifice the financial stability of the nation to return a white man to the White House.

Did you see John Boehner’s speech last night? It was one distortion after another about the GOP’s plan and President Obama.

The takeaway is this: Boehner and the GOP will walk away from any plan that doesn’t cripple President Obama. They don’t care about the economy.

They don’t care about your job. They don’t care about anything but taking over Congress and the White House.

  4. Kenneth Says:

I hate to admit how close to the mark you may be in defining my race Larry. But this mailer I received from Human Events backs up some of your claims about some of us being willing to believe anything that says some races are more equal than others.

What Up? Murdoch. It seems that Anonz is still on your ass.

Rupert Murdoch’s refusal to take responsibility for the hacking scandal that has slashed $5.5 billion from the market value of News Corp. (NWS) may undermine his credibility as chief executive officer.

  6. Anonymous Says:

John Pilger, Op-Ed: “Long before it was possible to hack phones, Murdoch was waging a war on journalism, truth, humanity, and succeeded because he knew how to exploit a system that welcomed his rapacious devotion to the “free market”.

Murdoch may be more extreme in his methods, but he is no different in kind from many of those now lining up to condemn him who are his beneficiaries, mimics, collaborators, apologists. “

  7. Anonymous Says:

If the networks aren’t billing the White House for lost revenue each time Barack interrupts their television programming, they should.

Here’s a man who manages to invade our TV screens with speech after speech, but never says anything new. Last night was no different. Obama expressed concern about the exploding deficits (which he caused), the impending debt ceiling (which he’s known about since he took office, but has instead sat on his laurels and done didley squat in two-and-half-years) and boldly proclaimed that raising America’s debt limit doesn’t mean the government will spend more money. (Nah, of course not. Why would extending the nation’s credit card actually lead to more spending?). And he very oddly threw in a line about our struggle to end slavery, as if the President’s insistence on shaking down those evil wealth creators (aka, The Rich) for more money is even in the same universe as the Civil War.

Makes you wonder whether Obama is smoking more than just cigarettes.

But that wasn’t the worst part of Obama’s address to the nation. He made it seem as though he and Ronald Reagan were soul-kindred spirits. Here’s why he’s out of his mind…

    — Jason Mattera

  8. Anonymous Says:

In his speech last night, President Obama called on Americans to contact Congress demanding an approach to the deficit that makes millionaires and corporations pay their share. So many did that they crashed the House’s servers.

    Tropical Depression 11W, # 1
    By DAVE ORNAUER
    Published: July 26, 2011

5:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, Guam time: A Guam national weather service advisory issued around noon calls for monsoon winds and heavy showers moving over Guam and the southern Marianas Wednesday evening.

Guam NOAA asks residents of Guam and Rota to continue monitoring the progress of Tropical Depression 11W; any deviation to the right of the forecast track could mean damaging winds to the Marianas Islands this week. The Joint Typhoon Warning Center forecasts 11 W to curve north, then northeast toward Iwo Jima later this week.

Meanwhile, a tropical disturbance has persisted nearly 675 miles southeast of Guam, and is being dubbed by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center a “low” area, meaning the chances for development into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours is low. But it’s another thing to keep watch on; it’s at 9.0 north latitude, four degrees south of Guam.

PST will keep a sharp watch on both.

  10. Milla Says:

    Larry:

I wonder what stage of their racist mental neurosis this white race in Norway is in to be actively entertaining the sick aspirations of their mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik?

If this asshole was an OTW, he would have been locked away with no access to the media. But he’s a white man so he must have something worthwhile to say.
    ==================================

That Breivik deliberately surrendered to police when finally confronted on the tiny island of Utoeya after cold bloodily gunning down 86 youngsters underlines his desire to grab a public platform to deliver his radical thoughts.
    ===============================
For some reason our white men seem to think that they have the right to kill others if they are unhappy with the way their life is going. The rest of us,however, are expected to just cope with our dilemmas.

I don’t care that you posted the video that you obviously saw on my bloghealth yesterday but could you not have at least come up with some original language instead of regurgitating my written words? It’s skeevy.

Also I don’t want Michelle or anyone else here I know that may read my bloghealth to think I reposted it here too but under anonymous. That’s just wrong.

You had to have known I would see it here. What is your motivation?

I do not know how long I have lived or if this living has been continuously on the planet earth as I have knowledge unavailable to mankind.

I would like to meet you upon my arrival in San Francisco. I will arrive Thursday in San Francisco at 5:02AM on United Airlines. Please meet me at baggage claim One.

I do not know how I know that this will be the point that we will be told to pick up our luggage but it will. I have decided to postpone the bad weather due Guam to allow for my on time departure if I get a timely response from you that you will meet me as requested.

I will put myself at your disposal. I hope you will provide transportation for us to San Francisco. I have two bags. A carry on and one that must be retrieved from baggage claim area One.

I am Anon#7 of July 26, 2011. . Of course, I knew that you would see my post. I do, though, find it interesting that you would suddenly become so proprietary about me posting something I may have seen on your blog to this one when you have solicited readers like me from this blog to visit your blog.

It is not as if I lifted something unique from your personal contribution. I merely shared with readers of this blog an article you yourself got from another blog or source. Where is your proprietary interest in that?

You who have no qualms about gaining readers from this blog suddenly show such feelings of personal umbrage. It is a testament to Michelle that she is not so squeamish when similar liberties are taken by others from her blog.

Besides it is not as if I used my name to post it as if it came from my mental deliberations.

I posted it anonymously to reflect that it was merely an attempt to provide information about a subject matter that might be of interest to the reader here.

That was not any different from other posters who post articles, links, etc that they discover in their web surfing that they feel would be of interest to readers here.

Nothing prevented you from stating that it came from your blog. But to use the tone that you used implies a blogging standard you are not in possession of.

Relax, if your angst was that you did not want others to think that you posted it here under anonymous, I have cleared you of that accusation.

Shall we now both be able to rejoin the blog world with satisfaction? I surely hope so.

    Greg.

Last Friday night, House Republicans walked out of debt ceiling talks after making it 100% clear that they would rather see America default and the economy ruined than make millionaires or corporations pay one penny more in taxes.1

Well taken Greg. Michelle has not even mentioned the obvious stealing from her blog the plot for the new movie coming to theaters near your and me of “Cowboys to Aliens.”

I suspect many more movies will reach the theaters based on the characters and themes expressed here.

Considering the annoyance taken by HRHSUN, because of your faux pas, I suspect HRHSUN would be calling his/her solicitors about now, if they were taken from his/her blog.

  16. Health Info Says:

CAN A FATTY DIET PROTECT AGAINST HEART ATTACK?

How’s this for weird? In spite of all the admonitions to eat a low-fat, high-fiber diet, it appears that a quick high-fat splurge actually might protect you from muscle damage caused by heart attack.

Researchers at the University of Cincinnati have discovered that a short-term, high-fat diet helped protect mice against tissue injury from heart attacks.

Although the researchers are quick to add that they don’t know yet whether the diet will work the same way for human beings, this may someday lead to a change in dietary recommendations.

    UNEXPECTED FINDINGS

A large body of research had established that people who have higher cholesterol levels are at increased risk for heart attack — but that’s not the whole story.

Surprisingly, in people with certain conditions (such as heart failure), having high cholesterol means that they have a better chance of surviving a heart attack.

This seemingly paradoxical bit of information led associate professor Keith Jones, PhD, University of Cincinnati Health cardiologist, assistant professor Jack Rubinstein, MD, and doctoral student Lauren Haar to do their own research on the topic.

They designed a study on mice that were fed a menu intended to create cholesterol levels akin to those in humans who eat a high-fat diet.

Some were fed the high-fat diet for just one day… others, for one to six weeks. A control group of mice was fed a standard, lower-fat diet.

Then the researchers measured the high-fat diet’s effect in two ways — over a short period of time and over the long term — as it related to heart attack survival. (Yes, they induced heart attacks in the mice.)

    Researchers found that…
Heart damage in mice that had been on the high-fat diet for up to two weeks was, on average, 70% less than in mice on the six-week high-fat diet and the control diet.

No cardio protection occurred in mice on the long-term (six-week) high-fat diet. In a second experiment, the 24-hour high-fat diet was followed by a control diet for 24 hours before heart attacks were induced —

and those mice also experienced greater protection from heart attack damage versus mice who were fed regular grain and vegetable-based chow — confirming that it is, in fact, the short-term, high-fat feeding that provided the most protection.

Haar presented these findings at the 2011 Experimental Biology Meeting sponsored by the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics on April 13, 2011.

BRING ON THE FAT? NOT SO FAST

As intriguing as the study results are, we can’t get too carried away by them, caution Dr. Jones and Dr. Rubinstein.

For one thing, it’s not known how to time a short-term fat splurge for optimal heart attack protection, if indeed that’s possible in humans.

Also, it’s well-known that heavy people with weight-related health issues tend to have more heart attacks, so for this group, any high-fat program must be approached with extreme caution.

That said, this research presents an intriguing model for the future, and the researchers intend to continue studying the heart-protective effects of a short-term fat splurge — for now, in animals.

In the meantime, don’t trade in your poached salmon and spinach for a bacon cheeseburger. Evidence shows that a regular anti-inflammatory diet low in saturated fat and high in healthful monounsaturated fats — from fish, avocados, olive oil, etc. — offers the best long-term protection against heart disease.

But we do now know that an occasional indulgence might not harm you at all… in fact, it might help you… but we can’t say for sure yet.
