The Family That BUSHwhacked America (Part 1)
Posted by Michelle Moquin on October 9th, 2011
Good morning!
I want to first say that I am so appreciative of the information that gets posted on my blog. I learn so much. And as painful, scary, disappointing etc., as it is sometimes (many times) , I am grateful for the knowledge.
Harold, and The Desk Of Anonz brought up the Bush Family. Here is my contribution.
Note: This article was written some time ago so some of the links no longer work.
The Family That BUSHwhacked America

Prescott Bush, granpa of Dubya
The Nazi’s American Banker
What is interesting about the history of the Bush family are the connections; Avril Harriman, Allen Dulles, the Rockefellers (the start of the oil connection), James Baker III, Gulf Oil, Pennzoil, Osama bin Laden…on and on it goes.
A lapse of memory?
05/07/03: It’s as well to remember that the Web never forgets, at least the US pres should take note of this fact and be careful of his utterances and how they can come back to haunt him. In fact four generations of Bush family history and too many skeletons in too many closets to count are to be found on the Web.
And given all the ‘pullpit pounding’ (more of which below) by ol’ Duyba and his minions, over the dubious moral character of Saddam and his cronies, much of which has underpinned the justification for the invasion and occupation of Iraq, it’s as well to compare the two sets of rogues. Not surprisingly, there’s little to choose between the two except that, in the case of the Bush gang, they have a ‘pedigree’ in perfidy which extends back almost a century and four generations that makes Saddam look positively angelic by comparison.
Prescott Bush – setting a family example
In a previous piece a quote I used mentioned Prescott Bush the present pres’s granpa (http://www.americanpolitics.com/20030210Koop.html) so I decided to do a little researching to see what other dirty little secrets the Bush family have hidden in the dark recesses of the WWW and lo and behold, there’s a load of stuff out there (7,630 links to be precise, according to good ol’ google just on granpa Prescott Bush).
Geronimo!
It’s 1918 and, well you know students, they’re always up to innocent pranks. It seems Grandpa Bush set his grandson some fine family precedents starting with digging up Geronimo’s skull,
“In 1918, Prescott Bush and two companions crept into the cemetery near Fort Sill and pried open the grave of Geronimo.
The head was taken out, spiffed up and forwarded to New Haven, where it was given pride of place for goofy rituals that have been attended by generations of Bushes and a veritable army of powerful types.”
http://www.post-gazette.com/columnists/20000923roddy.asp
The Apache nation (what was left of it anyway) was not amused. Okay, we’ll forgive granpa Bush his ‘juvenile pranks’ but it seems that this set the scene for the rest of his miserable life until his death in 1972 from carcinoma of the lung.
From skulls to Zyklon B (and back again)
But it seems that great-granpa George Walker was also in on the business of making money out of death (like great-granpa like great grand-son),
“George Walker, GW’s great-grandfather, also set up the takeover of the Hamburg-America Line, a cover for I.G. Farben’s Nazi espionage unit in the United States. In Germany, I.G. Farben was most famous for putting the gas in gas chambers; it was the producer of Zyklon B and other gasses used on victims of the Holocaust. The Bush family was not unaware of the nature of their investment partners. They hired Allen Dulles, the future head of the CIA, to hide the funds they were making from Nazi investments and the funds they were sending to Nazi Germany, rather than divest.”

Banking on Fascism
It just doesn’t stop does it, as Prescott Bush, son of George continued in the ‘grand tradition’ of skullduggery by also doing deals with the Nazis,
“On October 20, 1942, the US Alien Property Custodian, under the “Trading With the Enemy Act,” seized the shares of the Union Banking Corporation (UBC), of which Prescott Bush was a director and shareholder. The largest shareholder was E. Roland Harriman. (Bush was also the managing partner of Brown Brothers Harriman, a leading Wall Street investment firm.)
“The UBC was established to send American capital to Germany to finance the reorganization of its industry under the Nazis. Their leading German partner was the notorious Nazi industrialist Fritz Thyssen, who wrote a book admitting much of this called “I Paid Hitler.”
“Among the companies financed was the Silesian-American Corporation, which was also managed by Prescott Bush, and by his father-in-law George Herbert Walker, who supplied Dub-a-Ya with his name. The company was vital in supplying coal to the Nazi war industry. It too was seized as a Nazi-front on November 17, 1942. The largest company Bush’s UBC helped finance was the German Steel Trust, responsible for between one-third and one-half of Nazi iron and explosives.
“Prescott Bush was also a director of the Harriman Fifteen Corporation, (this one owned largely by Roland’s brother, Averell Harriman), which owned about a third of the Consolidated Silesian Steel Corporation, the rest owned by Friedrich Flick, (a member of Himmler’s “Circle of Friends” who donated to the S.S.).”

What is interesting about the history of the Bush family are the connections; Avril Harriman, Allen Dulles, the Rockefellers (the start of the oil connection), James Baker III, Gulf Oil, Pennzoil, Osama bin Laden…on and on it goes. It looks like this’ll have to be part one of an on-going series on the Bush dynasty and their dirty dealings.
Double Dutch?
The story of steel magnate and billionaire bankroller of the Nazis, Fritz Thyssen and his Bush family connection is so incredible, that it deserves to be turned into a movie (obviously not by Hollywood). It all starts with John Loftus, a former U.S.Department of Justice Nazi War Crimes prosecutor who is the source of the following,
“From 1945 until 1949, one of the lengthiest and, it now appears, most futile interrogations of a Nazi war crimes suspect began in the American Zone of Occupied Germany…. [The interrogation of] [m]ultibillionaire steel magnate Fritz Thyssen-the man whose steel combine was the cold heart of the Nazi war machine.”
They were trying to find out what had happened to Thyssen’s billions but without success. Why?
“What the Allied investigators never understood was that they were not asking Thyssen the right question. Thyssen did not need any foreign bank accounts because his family secretly owned an entire chain of banks. He did not have to transfer his Nazi assets at the end of World War II, all he had to do was transfer the ownership documents – stocks, bonds, deeds and trusts–from his bank in Berlin through his bank in Holland to his American friends in New York City, Prescott Bush and Herbert Walker. Thyssen’s partners in crime were the father and father-in-law of a future President of the United States [my emph. WB].
…
“The British and American interrogators may have gravely underestimated Thyssen but they nonetheless knew they were being lied to. Their suspicions focused on one Dutch Bank in particular, the Bank voor Handel enScheepvaart, in Rotterdam. This bank did a lot of business with the Thyssens over the years. In 1923, as a favor to him, the Rotterdam bank loaned the money to build the very first Nazi party headquarters in Munich.
“If the investigators realized that the US intelligence chief in postwar Germany, Allen Dulles, was also the Rotterdam bank’s lawyer, they might have asked some very interesting questions. They did not know that Thyssen was Dulles’ client [my emph. WB] as well. Nor did they ever realize that it was Allen Dulles’s other client, Baron Kurt Von Schroeder who was the Nazi trustee for the Thyssen companies which now claimed to be owned by the Dutch [my emph. WB]. The Rotterdam Bank was at the heart of Dulles’ cloaking scheme, and he guarded its secrets jealously.
…
“[T]he Dutch connection remained unexplored until 1994 when I published the book “The Secret War Against the Jews.” As a matter of historical curiosity, I mentioned that Fritz Thyssen (and indirectly, the Nazi Party) had obtained their early financing from Brown Brothers Harriman [my emph. WB], and its affiliate, the Union Banking Corporation. Union Bank, in turn, was the Bush family’s holding company for a number of other entities, including the “Holland American Trading Company.”
Source: http://www.baltech.org/lederman/bush-nazi-fortune-2-09-02.html
There are so many twists and turns to this story, that this is not the place to to go into all the labyrinthine links between the Nazis, the Bush Family and the CIA (via Allen Dulles) or indeed, a host of other corporate connections. But this final quote from the same source, gives you an idea of just how much money is involved,
“The enormous sums of money deposited into the Union Bank prior to 1942 is the best evidence that Prescott Bush knowingly served as a money launderer for the Nazis. Remember that Union Banks’ books and accounts were frozen by the U.S. Alien Property Custodian in 1942 and not released back to the Bush family until 1951. At that time, Union Bank shares representing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of industrial stocks and bonds were unblocked for distribution. Did the Bush family really believe that such enormous sums came from Dutch enterprises? One could sell tulip bulbs and wooden shoes for centuries and not achieve those sums. A fortune this size could only have come from the Thyssen profits made from rearming the Third Reich, and then hidden, first from the Nazi tax auditors, and then from the Allies.”

Crocodile tears
All of which makes the following quote from Dubya all the more sickening,
“In April 1999, [then] Texas Governor George W. Bush proclaimed a week of remembrance for the Holocaust. He said, “I urge Texans to never forget the inhumanity of those who perpetrated the Holocaust, and reflect upon our own humanity and our responsibility to respect all peoples.”
Source: http://www.disinfo.com/pages/dossier/id195/pg1/
Like granpa like grand-son? Well given where Dubya got his money from, and his continuing in the ‘grand tradition of the Bush gang, I’m feeling quite biblical about things, so I thought following,
Short diversion
Would be useful. I know there will be some among you who think I’ve just got it in for the Bushes, so in my wanderings over the Web, I came across this little gem fromhttp://www.townhall.com/bookclub/herskowitz.html
“Duty, Honor, Country
The Life and Legacy of Prescott Bush
By Mickey Herskowitz
This paean to the life of Prescott Bush, by a conservative writer is a salutory warning to us all. I quote,
“He [Prescott Bush] was a unifier, not a divider. And he was of such high integrity [sic] that behind the scenes was where he was at his best. He was a man of great faith. His grandfather was a minister whose faith and integrity were fully ingrained in the Bush family. Prescott always emphasized honesty, charity, fairness and proactive dedication to God, family and country.”
From a review by Susan Kurz.
I could go on quoting, but I’m afraid I’ll throw up. Check it out for yourself at http://www.townhall.com/bookclub/herskowitz.html. Townhall.com is, by the way, “the first truly interactive community on the Internet to bring Internet users, conservative public policy organizations, congressional staff, and political activists together under the broad umbrella of “conservative” thoughts, ideas and actions.”
There’s none so blind as those that refuse to see.
From Eugenicist to anti-abortionist
Not content with digging up the ancestors, supporting Fascism, laundering Nazi money through a Dutch-based bank, selling weapons to the mullahs of Iran, trading guns for drugs, doing business deals with Osama bin Laden, the Bush family in the form of ol’ granpa Prescott was an early supporter of the Eugenics movement (or racial purity, to give it its real name). And a rather embarassing connection it is too, as Bush Snr discovered,
“…And the Birth Control League was there, which had long trumpeted the need for eugenical births–fewer births for parents with “inferior” bloodlines. Prescott [Bush’s] partner Tighe was a Connecticut director of the league, and the Connecticut league’s medical advisor was eugenics advocate Dr. Winternitz of Yale Medical School.
Now in 1950, people who knew something about Prescott Bush knew that he had very unsavory roots in the eugenics movement. There were then, just after the anti-Hitler war, few open advocates of sterilization of “unfit” or “unnecessary” people. (That would be revived later, with the help of General Draper and his friend George Bush
Then, very late in the 1950 senatorial campaign, Prescott Bush was publicly exposed for being an activist in that section of the old fascist eugenics movement. Prescott Bush lost the election by about 1,000 out of 862,000 votes
In his foreword to a population control propaganda book, George Bush wrote about that 1950 election: “My own first awareness of birth control as a public policy issue came with a jolt in 1950 when my father was running for United States Senate in Connecticut. Drew Pearson, on the Sunday before Election day, ‘revealed’ that my father was involved with Planned Parenthood…. Many political observers felt a sufficient number of voters were swayed by his alleged contacts with the birth controllers to cost him the election….”

The Bush story is such a fascinating history of capitalist corruption and power that it needs to be presented to a public that is consistently lied to, not only by the corporate media but by our so-called leaders. In Part Two, I’m going to give you the low-down on the Bush family’s involvement in the scams and dealings of the Reagan years, the Iran-Contra scandal and one of the biggest rip-offs in history, the savings and loan scandal, which cost the US taxpayer literally trillions of dollars. Yeah, you read right, trillions!
**********
Readers: Stay tuned for Part 2. Thoughts? Comments? Blog me.
Robert: It’s taken me a few days to catch up on the comments. The more I read, the more I find out just how corrupt our system is. Conspiracy theories are no longer just that. If one can think it or make it up, it’s probably real or someone is planning on making it real.
And we voted the criminals in. The same same thing is happening all over again and unless we all participate, and become political animals, it will continue to happen. Your commentary was enlightening – throw in Doug’s link to the video (Thanks!), and if it’s not clear now to people, they’re never gonna get it. Keep the info coming.
Readers: If you didn’t read Robert’s post and watch the video that Doug posted, don’t be lazy…I suggest that you do.
AH: So glad to see your initials back in the comment section. I too have missed hearing from you. What has been going on in your world? How is Bita and Adam? My best to all of you.
Jerry: You, ZL and everyone else is wondering the same thing. Gutless wonders I guess. Kudos to Harry Reid though. Belinda: Thanks for posting. Gumption seems to come in spurts – We need it to come more often.
By the way…Quo: Love the quote. So true…so true. How I wish more people in power…actually all people took that same thought and applied it to business and life.
Jenna: It is so hard to read your story. I know that it has not happened to just you, nor has this abuse of women come to a halt. Even if this atrocity only happened to you, it is one too many for any girl to have to endure. My heart goes out to you. No, women do not have to continue to be victims. “Revenge is a dish best served chilled.” Does that mean killing? When I think of revenge, No. But then I have always said I am an “eye for an eye” kind of girl. How would I feel if I were in your shoes? Do I blame you for wanting and doing so? How can I? I have never experienced what you and many other girls have gone through, so I can not say how I would feel or what my actions would be.
What I do HOPE though is that, you find that life begins to mean something…the fact that you are still alive is a gift. And perhaps while you are alive, I can empower you by encouraging your justified anger to be expressed in a positive way too. There are many girls who are going through what you went through – life does mean something to those that are trying to survive, and they need help. You have some fire in you…some powerful fire. If you can kill, imagine what you can do to save. Perhaps when you save a life, your life will begin to mean something. I HOPE this for you.
Fiona: You do have Jenna’s strength. I HOPE too that you will put your strength into saving.
Muraoka: No doubt they are HOPEing. But my readers are for Obama. I don’t see their sick comments converting anyone that is for Obama or anyone on the fence. This is choir talk and the choir isn’t ever going to vote for Obama.
Jerome: I am sick of it too but deleting it doesn’t take it away. If it did, believe me, I’d censor my blog in a minute. I think it’s a good idea to for my readers to see the shit they are telling their flock. It is one thing to say they lie, or that they are filled with desire to get Obama out at any cost, but anyone reading Human Events can see for themselves that this bunch is insane with hatred of Obama. It is sickening what is being said and what they will do to be done with him. If anything, let their words fuel your fire, because we’re going to need all of the fire that we can muster up to win the election in 2012.
Tsarme: Welcome to my blog. I look forward to hearing more about you and your world. If you can tell us, what are your duties with the TAO? What is your form like? Animal? Plant? Sea? I too wish you success.
Akema: Enough isn’t said about women in this world. So yes! Absolutely.
Anna Of Guam: Great article, but it is nothing compared to your note in the church collection. Love it.
Peace & Love…

Now that’s a gangster family. Isn’t it just like the republican party to elect not one but two members to be president from a family of rogues. But for the Just-Us justice system, these crooks would be serving time rather than gathering retirement money from the citizens they have fleeced.

Don’t Drink That!
Fruit Juices and Soft Drinks Can Lead to Arthritis, Bone Fractures, Cancer
Nancy Appleton, PhD
No one thinks soda is good for you, but you might not realize just how bad it is for you. And fruit juice is almost as bad.
The American Heart Association has concluded that the safe upper limit of daily added sugar — which includes all of the sugar that isn’t naturally present in foods — is six teaspoons for women and nine teaspoons for men. A 12-ounce can of Pepsi has about 10 teaspoons of sugar. Most soft drinks have a similar amount. And bottled teas and sports drinks contain about the same amount of sugar per ounce as colas.
In addition to sugar, these beverages may contain phosphoric acid (which disrupts mineral balance), high-fructose corn syrup (a form of sugar that may increase the risk for metabolic syndrome) and caffeine (which can cause heart palpitations and insomnia). None of it is good for you.
Even real fruit juice — including fresh apple, grape and orange juice — contains about 10 teaspoons of sugar in every 12-ounce glass. Yes, it is naturally occurring sugar, but it upsets your body chemistry in the same way that added sugar does.
HIGH CONSUMPTION, SERIOUS RISKS
The average American drinks about 11.5 gallons of fruit juice and fruit beverages and more than 50 gallons of soft drinks a year. This works out to about 600 12-ounce cans of soda and 125 12-ounce servings of juice.
Our bodies aren’t designed to process this much sweetness. Excess sugar breaks down the process of homeostasis, the body’s ability to maintain a healthy chemical balance. What this can lead to…
Calcium depletion. Sugar acidifies the blood. The body attempts to restore a normal state of alkalinity by removing calcium from the bones. This increases blood levels of calcium while decreasing bone levels. Results: A higher risk for bone fractures and osteoporosis, along with an increased risk for cardiovascular disease from arterial calcification.
Autoimmune diseases. The mineral imbalances caused by excess sugar and phosphoric acid impair the normal functions of enzymes, including digestive enzymes. When the digestive enzymes can’t function, protein molecules from incompletely digested foods can pass through the intestine and into the bloodstream. These “foreign” molecules then are attacked by the immune system.
This condition, known as leaky gut syndrome, could increase the risk for and/or severity of lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases.
Pancreatic cancer. Swedish researchers sent food questionnaires to nearly 80,000 men and women. They found that those who consumed the most sugar, particularly from soft drinks, were significantly more likely to get this deadly cancer than those who consumed less. Other studies have reported similar results.
Hypertension, heartburn, asthma, more. The consumption of soft drinks has been linked to an increased risk for high blood pressure, gout, heartburn and even asthma.
DIET SODAS, BAD TOO
A presentation at the International Stroke Conference in Los Angeles looked at information from more than 2,500 participants. Researchers found that those who drank diet soda daily were 61% more likely to suffer a cardiovascular event, such as a heart attack or stroke, than those who didn’t drink these beverages.
Although the reason for this isn’t known, there is enough information about sugar substitutes (such as aspartame and saccharin) to make them a good guess. The phosphoric acid could be a likely cause, too.
Whatever the cause, I do not recommend diet soft drinks.
HARD TO QUIT
When French researchers gave cocaine-addicted rats a choice between more cocaine or an artificial sweetener, the animals consistently chose the artificial sweetener.
Like cocaine, sweeteners elevate dopamine, a neurotransmitter that makes us feel good. However, the sugar “high” doesn’t last very long. In the absence of more sugar, dopamine declines precipitously, which causes classic symptoms of withdrawal — mood changes, fatigue and irritability.
To relieve these symptoms, soda drinkers unconsciously “self-medicate” with more soft drinks.
HEALTHIER CHOICES
Manufacturers have promoted sports drinks (such as Gatorade), bottled teas and fruit juices as being healthier than carbonated beverages such as 7-Up, Coca-Cola and Pepsi. They’re not. A 16-ounce bottle of lemon tea has 10.5 teaspoons of sugar. A 20-ounce bottle of Gatorade Original Lemon-Lime contains 8.5 teaspoons.
You can enjoy the occasional soft drink, just as you might enjoy the occasional rich dessert. But people with health challenges should not drink any soft drinks, sugar or no sugar, caffeine or no caffeine.
The challenge for those who are accustomed to sugary beverages and have developed a chemical dependence is cutting back. They’ll invariably experience intense cravings.
You can quit cold turkey or do it gradually. If you want to do it gradually, try the following strategies…
Water it down. You don’t need full-strength fruit juice to get the satisfying taste. Add about three-quarters cup of water to one-quarter cup of juice. You’ll get a little sweetness and fruit flavor, without the excess sugar.
Add bubbles. Many people like the carbonation in soft drinks as much as the sugar. You can make your own carbonated beverage by adding about one-half cup of soda water to one-half cup of fruit juice or iced tea.
Add lemon. Many restaurants routinely add lemon slices to glasses of water. You also can add a little puréed fruit, such as melon or peaches, for flavor.
Try commercial substitutes. A few companies make tasty beverages with little or no added sugar. Brands such as Metromint and Hint use purified water that is lightly flavored with peppermint, lemon mint, raspberry-lime, etc.
GOOD, WITHIN LIMITS
The following are additional ways that soda and juice drinkers can cut back on sugar as long as they’re used in moderation…
Coconut water. It’s the base ingredient in several commercial beverages, such as those made by Nature Factor Organic Young Coconut Water and Zico. Although these drinks are lower in sugar than most soft drinks, they’re not sugar-free. I advise drinking no more than about four to six ounces a day.
Stevia. This plant-based, noncaloric sweetener is hundreds of times sweeter than sugar. You can use a little to sweeten tea or other beverages. It’s also the sweetener that’s used in some commercial diet beverages, such as Zevia Natural Diet Soda.
Caution: Stevia appears to be healthier than artificial sweeteners, but still use it in moderation. The sweetness can keep you “hooked” on sweetness and make it harder to reduce or eliminate excess sugar from your diet.

Interesting article Michelle. You can add to it the connection of the Vatican. They were so greedy that they took large sums of money from the Nazis to smuggle into catholic dominated countries like Brazil.
The Vatican made hundreds of millions of dollars working with the Nazis during the war and after. Many prosecutors who worked for the U.S. Department of Justice investigating Nazi war crimes were frustrated and had their investigations stopped because they threatened to reveal the complicity of the Vatican in the extermination of the Jews in Europe.

Interesting article Michelle. You can add to it the connection of the Vatican. They were so greedy that they took large sums of money from the Nazis to smuggle into catholic dominated countries like Brazil escaping nazis. The Vatican is responsible for harboring or helping to escape justice thousands of nazi war criminals.
Allen Dulles used the CIA to steal billions of dollars from the US. Treasury. He passed the mantel to GW Bush and he continued to loot the US treasury without concern for investigation because all their crimes were hidden under the secrecy act.

Michelle:
The man who got rid of the regulations is Ronald-dumb-as-any-sarah plain, But he was a white boy so white america gave him deference. He was president in name only. Bush ran that show.
He later had another Bush-dumb-as-any-sarah plain white boy in the office of president, his son bush. Like the ronald reagan and many other white presidents before him he was given deference. He was controlled by his vice president, cheney also put in by the father bush. Notice a pattern here. It was surely done before only not so blatantly obvious.

Doug:
Your video says it all. Why are we still electing republicans that advocate deregulation and no taxes on the rich?
October 10th, 2011 at 6:37 am
Yes, the people can stop the crooks if we think and listen to people like Robert, Anonz and Doug.
Netflix killed off all the DVD competition in the neighborhoods and then did what the crooked telephone companies, banks, etc do. They make spin off companies to do two or more separate things that the parent company used to do for the customer and charge separately for each, effectively charging the same customer DOUBLE.
But others decided to enter the market and the customer balked. Now they have decided not to double bill. I say fuck netflix. Take your money some place else.
If you don’t, you are doing what the shit for brains voters did when they re-elected the same bunch that gave them this financial crisis.

Gosh Michelle:
What are we to do? People like my husband support these idiots. I have been married to what Robert refers to as a little dick white boy for 31 years.
Your blog and Robert’s rants have given me insight on why that fool thinks the way he does. It is because he thinks through his tiny cock.
He is the typical republican. A tiny dick white man threatened by his belief that he is inferior in bed because of that tiny cock.
So he marches all macho with his guns, flag, and war talk. He hates Obama because he does not want a black man as an image that can compete with a white man mentally and economically because since he feels that his tiny dick can’t compete he needs that edge to maintain his place in the getting a mate chain.
Women like me have been brained washed that this is the best choice. So we not quite up to speed white women run around ignorant to our plight and thinking sources.
We buy their pompous bull and end up voting republican with the fools.
NO MORE FOR THIS WHITE WOMAN.

Many more banks are going to fail. Bank of America is all but gone. The sharks are circling to see if they can squeeze more free money out of the feds.
If not they will close in and devour the bank. Then on to the next. Obama is stuck until he gets re elected. He dare not propose the strict measure he knows is needed less the racists gain momentum with the socialist garbage.
Most racially threatened white boys are lying in wait for an excuse to jump aboard the white train. So Obama has to tread lightly to get at least 44% of my race’s vote.
This white man is voting Obama. I do not fear the color of the man who has the right answer. I do not fear the sex of the person who has the right answer.
I say let’s drive the scoundrels out and get this country working again. We need to rid ourselves of those who would give tax breaks to companies who take our jobs overseas.
It started with out sourcing american jobs to countries like India to answer your questions about their products over the phone.
We need to say if the company does that, then I leave that company for one that gives that telephone job to someone answering in America.
We need to say to the politician if you are giving tax breaks to those companies that send out jobs abroad you are out of here come next election regardless of your party affiliation.

The solution is that Obama must take a stronger lead. If Geithner refuses to exercise the power given the Treasury Secretary by the Dodd-Frank Act, he should act on his own.
The Dodd-Frank Act gives the Treasury Secretary explicit authority to designate the FDIC as receiver, and to seize, break up and reorganize any failing institution, like Bank of America, previously considered “too big to fail” that is in danger of default into smaller institutions with new reorganized management.
Obama’s problem will be that the republicans will use his attempt to do so as a rallying cry that Obama is trying to destroy America as we know it by destroying free enterprise.
Dare he try it before the election?
The question is really not as simple as that because if he does break up Bank of America and lose the election because of it. NOTHING will come of it. It will be business as usual when the republicans are in power.
The republicans who would then control the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches of government will just continue policy as usual with the banks and financial institutions left. We will get richer, if that is even possible as we have almost all the money now.
Obama must find a way to save the country in spite of itself. He can only do that by getting away from Geithner’s influence as Doug advocated earlier in his administration.
Geithner was a good choice for a tyro like Obama when he was at the start of his governing. But now Obama needs to look elsewhere for additional advice and other opinions.
It will take huge balls to take us on. We are in control of every dime in this country. I like, one or two others, believe that if we are not stopped we will kill ourselves with greed.
Like the man who can not stop taking his own drugs, or eating his own great cooking we will kill ourselves and American, and the world with our greed.
Me, I still believe that if anybody should have all the money it should be me. So if Obama is not going to stop the greed stampede, I will follow the heard and continue to strive to be the chief drover.
It is not Obama’s burden to carry alone. It the American people continue to follow the self serving manipulative advice of the republican party, then they have only themselves to blame for my enrichment.
I refuse to give up my money and power to a mob who can be so easily influenced to use that money and power unwisely.
The results of last terms elections says to me that I should continue to hold the reins less I give them to those who would certainly ruin what little is left of America.

NIcely said, Henry, especially the ‘…I do not fear the color of the man with the right answer, I do not fear the sex of a person with the right answer.’
Anonz, glad to see your well enough to post here again. I’m relieved about your safety somewhat. I’ll say this about your writes: not much surprises me anymore but that part about the Vatican did for a second…then I thought, why(???), bc the religious are more ‘righteous’ (??), hmmm, no they just do what they want but stand behind their morality, it’s a nice front you must admit…had even me, but just for a second.
Carrie, people still vote rethug bc they are brainwashed ‘conservatives’ (that’d be the women married to religious men) and/or they believe that they will someday be wealthy enough to matter to the party, that’s probably not going to happen…it’s hard to earn in the billions unless you are part of the Bush family, Anonz types (no offense to the man himself) or are somehow intertwined in the top 1% and if you were, you’d know it. Or see Lois’s explanation, her hubby (unfortunately) is pretty typical.
I’d like to give kudos to Mischa for supplying the info/forum/etc, so while Robert Anonz and Doug have been an integral part of the information process here, remember it is a woman who is bringing to the ‘station near you’ : ) just wanted to give credit where credit is very due…

oh, and for the young, poor, and elderly democrats, this should piss you off! The GOP fucks are doing all they can to get Obama out. It’s idiotic for anyone who is not a billionaire to follow the GOP train. They don’t give two shits about you and never will, and you will never be a part of their thought process, ever. But, there are plenty of proud idiots in this world because the GOP is good at hiding their bigotry, racism, classism, elitism, and every other ism they claim to stand behind through religion, “smaller government”, blatant lies…the irony amazes me.

Zen lill, thanks for the reminder where the action is right here on Michelle’s blog.
Anonz and Robert pointed out a long time ago that the republicans were headed toward controlling the vote through restricting absentee ballots and who can vote.
It seems another of their predictions have come to pass. Yes, we heard it here first.
Love this blog.

What does it say about America’s justice system that everyone can discover what this bandit family has and is doing and no one in America will go after them?
It is as bad as we have it here in Italy. Only Americans lie to themselves about the state they live in.

How to Tell if Someone is Lying
Alan R. Hirsch, MD
Signs someone is lying… he/she leans forward and changes posture or position often. He licks his lips, folds or crosses his arms and blinks less often than usual.
He may fidget… take frequent sips of water… smile more than usual… and laugh at inappropriate times during a conversation.
He is likely to close his hands into fists or interlock his fingers… frequently touch his face… scratch or rub his nose… look away… and/or sigh deeply.

In Crimes Against Liberty, David Limbaugh has compiled the most comprehensive and devastating indictment of what is turning out to be the most destructive presidency in American history.
From exploiting the financial crisis for political gain, to restricting our personal freedoms through invasive healthcare and “green” policies, to endangering America with his feckless diplomacy and reckless dismantlement of our national security systems, Limbaugh proves — beyond a reasonable doubt — that President Barack Obama is guilty of crimes against liberty.
In David Limbaugh’s brilliant and controversial book, he documents:
Obama’s offenses against the rule of law (including the administration’s blatant pursuit of race-based justice)
Obama’s violations of the public trust (including his Chicago-style bully boy tactics to protect and advance the administration’s cronies)
Obama’s abuses against the private sector (including how his administration is removing any limits to federal power)
Obama’s crimes against good governance (including his mania for secrecy after getting elected on promises of transparency)
Obama’s betrayals of the national interest (including his administration’s gagging of honest discussion of the threat of radical Islam)
And much, much more
Here’s what Sean Hannity has to say about David Limbaugh’s #1 NY Times bestseller:
“In Crimes Against Liberty my good friend David Limbaugh presents a thorough, incisive, and compelling indictment of Barack Obama and his administration. His research and writing skills and his legal training have never been put to better use — every liberty-loving American has a patriotic duty to read this book.”
And here’s what talk-radio star and bestselling author Mark Levin has to say about Crimes Against Liberty:
“Barack Obama likes to pose as a constitutional lawyer, but David Limbaugh is the real deal — and the real guardian of freedom. Crimes Against Liberty is the most effective skewering of Obama’s contempt for the Constitution and our nation’s foundations that I have yet read. Buy it.”
Finally, here’s what the irrepressible Ann Coulter has to say:
“Reading David Limbaugh on the Obama administration is imperative right now. Week in and week out, his devastating columns provide cathartic relief during these dark days for the republic. In his terrific new book Crimes Against Liberty, he has given us a powerful indictment of this administration — its hypocrisy, dishonesty, radicalism, and corruption. Arm yourself with knowledge for the coming showdown: Read this book.”
And now, for a limited time, we at Human Events are making David Limbaugh’s Crimes Against Liberty available to you absolutely FREE — just for trying us at zero risk.
After all, Human Events is the news source President Reagan himself called his “favorite newspaper”… and which still holds high the Reaganesque principles of free enterprise, limited government, strong national defense, and individual freedom.
It’s the periodical that the peerless Ann Coulter, our legal affairs correspondent and a key participant in our weekly editorial meetings, proudly considers her editorial “home” — and where you can her trenchant, biting satirical columns.
Says Ann: “Not only do I write a weekly column for Human Events, I devour it from cover to cover. Why? Because it’s the one newspaper I can count on to bring me the absolute, unvarnished, hard-hitting truth. And so should you.”
Human Events is written and edited by gutsy people who will rescue you from the sticky tar pit of political correctness that passes for contemporary reporting… not girlie-boy editors afraid of sticking to their guns!
That means by reading Human Events, you can count on learning the news the liberal media try so hard to keep secret!
For example…
In a recent issue of Human Events we reported on those “thousands of acres” Obama speaks of as ready for oil drilling in U.S. waters… virtually none have been found to have any oil! In other words, Obama has no intention of opening new drilling anywhere in the U.S. — no matter how high the price of gasoline soars!
Human Events also reported that Obama’s “economic stimulus” was simply a gargantuan gift to the states — to make sure pampered government workers did not share the same painful fate as private sector-workers who lost jobs by the millions.
Human Events revealed that ObamaCare is so brilliant and so wonderful that trade unions and companies friendly to the president are fleeing it by the thousands. In fact, Obama’s health care plan is so desirable that 20% of the exemptions have gone to Nancy Pelosi’s posh district in San Francisco!
There’s so much at stake today. America is facing its biggest financial crisis of modern times and liberals just don’t get it. Never has it been more important for you to get the truth — and not just the P.C. pabulum dished up by the mainstream media.
And now you can try Human Events with this special introductory offer — a full 30-week trial subscription at the reduced rate of just $39.95, just over a dollar an issue. That’s a savings of 54% off the regular rate.

AH: you have my most sincere apology for my remark a few months back. Adam as do you, for I know this upset you as well. And Robert, I do not even know why I chose to argue with you, as I usually agree with what you post. Anyone else I owe an apology to, you got it!
I have no excuse for my rude behavior, and now that I have a computer again I intend to comment from time to time. That is if it is OK with you Michelle. I really feel like an ass and I know I acted like one. Sorry, for this has been long, long over due.
