Google Is Blocking My Blog…

…whether they know it or not.

There are hidden instructions to block access to “blog.michellemoquin.com.”

The blocking is designed to frustrate the potential reader. It doesn’t happen all the time but enough to discourage most looking to check out or continue to tune into my blog.

Believe me, it has been frustrating as well for me. It has been hell for me sometimes to find my blog, and be able to access it so that I can write. I am continually bugging my server about it so that it can be rectified as quickly as possible. No one seemed to have an answer.

Yesterday I got this from a loyal reader. (Much gratitude – you know who you are) He/she showed me what was hidden in the search instructions when one attempts to find my blog through google.

So…as you can see, below is the e-mail, that I received, informing me that Google is blocking my blog. Don’t ask me how I found out. Don’t ask me who gave me this information. I got it and that’s all that matters.

It is nothing that anyone sees when they Google my name or my blog, but it is there. This is the hidden message that is directing Google and others to block access to my blog.

I highlighted the important part in RED – Notice it says, “Block all blog.michellemoquin.com results.” If you google blog.michellemoquin.com you don’t see the hidden message, but it is there.

    DO AWAY WITH DRY MOUTH

Dry mouth — it’s a discomfort that we all experience from time to time, usually when we’re under stress.

It’s easy to relieve with a drink of water, and it typically disappears as soon as you get through the big presentation, the family squabble or whatever it was that set your nerves on edge —

unless you’re among the 30 million or so Americans suffering from chronic dry mouth (the medical term is xerostomia).

These unlucky folks have little to no saliva in their mouths on a regular basis, so they are always parched, their tongues may feel hot and swollen and they often have really bad breath.

The good news is that there is a new over-the-counter (OTC) product for those who suffer that provides better relief — and also lasts longer — compared with its competitors.

But first, let’s talk about why getting rid of chronic dry mouth fast is important. Having a parched mouth can also, either directly or indirectly, lead to a host of health problems, some of which are serious.

You likely never thought about it, but your body normally produces about 0.75 to 1.5 liters of saliva each day. Saliva is loaded with minerals that cleanse the teeth and gums.

So chronic dry mouth raises your risk for periodontal disease, which seems logical — but periodontal disease, in turn, may elevate your risk for heart disease, a health concern on a whole different level.

We also need saliva in order to fully taste our food, so chronic dry mouth can affect how much we enjoy meals, and we need saliva to swallow and break down our food properly, so chronic dry mouth can cause digestive problems.

Plus, it’s easier to talk when your mouth and throat are well-lubricated.

    IS IT YOUR DRUGS?

It’s decidedly not normal for your mouth to constantly feel like a desert, but there are numerous reasons why it might happen.

For instance, poor lifestyle choices (specifically, smoking and excessive drinking of alcohol) can dry out your mouth, as can diseases, including diabetes.

It’s rare, but chronic dry mouth can also be a symptom of an autoimmune disorder called Sjögren’s syndrome (see Daily Health News, October 24, 2011 for more information on Sjögren’s).

But the most common cause of chronic dry mouth, by far, is medication.

Dry mouth is listed as a side effect of more than 1,800 different prescription drugs (and also of many OTC medications).

About one-third of patients who are taking three or more prescription drugs are likely to suffer from dry mouth.

So if you suffer from dry mouth and take medication, check with your doctor to see if switching to a different drug or making a lifestyle change might reduce — or eliminate — your symptoms.

    NATURAL RELIEF

No matter the cause of your dry mouth, there is a relatively new OTC, natural dry-mouth remedy that is blowing away the competition.

A New York University College of Dentistry study published last year in The Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA) found that using OraMoist, a self-dissolving, muco-adhesive patch that’s slightly smaller than the size of a dime and sticks onto any oral mucosal surface (such as the roof of your mouth or the inside of your cheek), leads to a significant increase in salivary flow among dry-mouth sufferers after just two weeks of daily use.

Another study, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel, backs up these findings — and also found OraMoist to be twice as effective as a leading dry mouth mouthwash.

The OraMoist patch moistens the mouth while simultaneously stimulating saliva production with a blend of natural ingredients, including citric acid, lemon flavor, calcium carbonate and xylitol.

These ingredients are time-released, so the effects of one patch last up to four hours. Other OTC products on the market for dry mouth (including mouthwashes, sprays and gels) must be used every 20 minutes to get the same effect.

Patch users have reported greater relief the longer they used the patch, so it also appears to have a cumulative benefit.

A pack of 16 OraMoist patches, enough for five days if you use three a day, costs about $13.

    DON’T JUST PATCH IT UP

I checked in with one of our regular expert medical sources, Mark Breiner, DDS, a holistic dentist in Trumbull, Connecticut, and author of the new book Whole-Body Dentistry:

A Complete Guide to Understanding the Impact of Dentistry on Total Health, to get his opinion on the OraMoist patch for people with dry mouth.

Dr. Breiner’s message was simple but important: Although the patch can bring welcome relief, it should be considered a temporary solution.

So be sure to also talk to your doctor to see whether you can get rid of dry mouth altogether.

“Dry mouth is often a sign that something in your body is out of balance,” Dr. Breiner said. For example, a disease, lifestyle habit or drug could be the root cause.

“Isn’t it better to deal with that than to just ‘cover up’ the problem?” he asked. You know the answer — and it could have a major impact on your odds of living a long and healthy life!

Hi Mischa, I have had that happen when I have accessed at a different computer. I keep mm blog on bookmark and yes, it’s stuck on some older page, it changes, sometimes it’s a page from a week ago, sometimes it’s that page where someone had a Japanese brother who thought he knew me, and I read it almost everytime and laugh…point is: bookmarked is easier access although I may just have preferential access bc you’re the commander and I’m a girlZ or…I’m an oldie not a newbie…? Could be anything…glad you found the hidden culprit though, it’s easier to fix a known problem.

Btw, I read an article in either DailyKos/beast about STD’s, 90% of women (and men, yep, them too), will contract HPV infections, out of the 90% MOST of those cases go away on their own, the 10 resistant batches are very treatable and can be totally eradicated IF you nip them in the bud, bottom line: if you have indulged in questionable behavior (um, let’s just say you, your partner or a side squeeze ‘forgot’ your dams, condoms and finger cots bc at least once in life it’s likely this will occur, no mega-fault of anyone in particular) then just get tested straight away, again: nipped in the bud, HPV can be completely eradicated. HPV testing every 2-3 years is recommended. & If you do contract HPV, don’t freak out, docs will isolate the areas, use a freezing process (similar to biopsy technique) and go in and remove – an in office procedure most of the time, then they’ll retest and go in again if necessary. Clearly, the best thing is, of course, to protect yourself by using barriers, after that, have an inner mind climate that is so positive nothing gets in between you and your good health: nothing. I am NOT minimizing the usage/non-usage of protection, simply giving you info, google ‘dealing with HPV’ if you require more technical details. Happy humping…!

    Luv, Zen Lill

  3. HOWIE Says:

    Michelle:

I, for one, am extremely angry that As you can see, my freedom of our speech rights to freedom of speech are being violated.

What has happenend to this onec-great Nation?

It is no wonder that people are demonstrating int he streets of America. We rae mad!

Citizens are being treated as if everyone is a potential terrorist. We know that is not so. The topics on this blog vary from health matters to relationships to politics and even aliens and UFOs.

SO WHAT? Americans are supposed to have the freedom to discuss any issue we want to.

We are doing no harm. We simply discuss topics and have dialogues between readers. Some peopple must be frightened by this open furum of discussion. What do they fear?

I do not know where all of the typos came from in my last comment. I am sorry they are there. I do not believe I typed them. Sorry.

Howie, (hi : ) not sure why the link won’t post here but if you type in the following: http://truthaholics.wordpress.com/ exposing truth behind media spin – and their FaceBook logo: ‘ignore your rights and they’ll go away’ is just a fact, we can pay attention or watch it fall away slowly…ZL

  6. OnLineMembership & Activism Says:

The on-again, off-again Rand Paul (R-KY) Dirty Air Assault appears to be back on again.

A Senate vote could come at any time, as soon as tomorrow or Wednesday.

    More Information
Operating under the bizarre theory that more unhealthy air will magically create jobs, Sen. Paul wants to block a life-saving clean air standard that protects people from out-of-state polluters — the EPA’s Cross State Air

    Pollution Rule (CSAPR).
This from a man who has said the EPA “has done more harm than good,” and that President Obama was “forcing the EPA down our throats.”

CSAPR will cut pollution from coal-fired power plants, save up to 34,000 lives, prevent 400,000 asthma attacks, and avoid 1.8 million lost work and school days due to respiratory illnesses every year.

But, Sen. Paul’s bill, S.J. Res 27, would throw out CSAPR and would permanently bar the EPA from ever issuing a substantially similar rule.

Sen. Paul is corralling support in the Senate right now. And he is planning to force a vote on his resolution under rarely used procedure that bypasses normal Senate rules and fast tracks action in the Senate.
That’s why your Senators need to hear from you today –Even the most ardent anti-government members of Congress should understand the validity of this important rule.

The whole point of CSAPR is to stop big polluting states from dumping their air pollution into neighboring states. Without a national standard, citizens of downwind states are at the mercy of upwind polluting states.
But this important life-saving standard is precisely what Rand Paul’s bill will undo.

This is a truly dreadful bill and it must be stopped.
Thanks for your activism and support,

Well, I guess it is blocked enough…only Howie, health info, another and myself got in yesterday…hmm…suspect, but now I’m really curious, was the person who sent you the email reason a total computer geek bc if she/he found it, then it is a thwart but a fixable thwart, yes? A total block to our freedom to find/read mm blog would not be found in an email at all, it would be embedded in code you would never see…I hope that doesn’t happen, most of us love it here (even when there’s caustic convo). Hope it all works out, Misch. – ZL
