Herman Cain Can’t

Good morning!

Don’t you just love it when a presidential candidate doesn’t have an answer to a pretty important question? Herman Cain gets asked by the Journal Sentinel “…So you agree with president Obama on Libya?” Cain, looks above at the ceiling, as if the answer is hanging there, then closes his eyes and says, “Okay…Libya” – like he has to think about the president’s position in Libya recently.

Helloo…how could you forget what has just taken place only a short time ago? How could you forget the president’s position? And to make matters worse, he actually asks the interviewer after a very long pause, “president Obama supported the uprising, correct? President Obama called for the removal of Gaddafi.”

The more Cain opened his mouth the worse it got, until Cain says all flustered, “I’ve got all this stuff twirling around in my head”.

If you’ve got all this stuff twirling around in your head, and you cain’t handle it now, there is no way you’re going to be able to handle the challenging daily pressures of being the president. In his defense, a Cain spokesperson  said that Cain was tired. Sorry, that’s no excuse. The spokesperson said that,  ”He just had to take a moment to articulate his idea”. I don’t think so. If you think after he paused for 10 seconds, he articulated his idea, we have different definitions for the word “articulate”.

The presidency is the most challenging job I can imagine. You had better get used to long days and nights, and sometimes very little sleep. I don’t expect the president to remember every little detail of every issue, but I do expect the president to remember important facts so that he/she can make informed decisions.

I don’t know about you but my guess is you’re thinking the same same as me: I don’t want our country to get even more fucked up because our president is tired and cain’t remember…stuff is twirling around his head. Sounds like he’s dazed and confused to me.

Between this,  and the recent sexual harassment allegations, in my opinion Cain,  your run for our Commander in Chief is over. You’re now in 3rd place as a republican runner for president. My advice? Go have a pizza and take a nap….a very long nap.

Here’s the watch:

And for the newbies of my blog just joining me, I posted this information last week, but will continue to post it periodically to keep those that have just started reading my blog informed.

Google is blocking my blog…whether they know it or not.

There are hidden instructions to block access to “blog.michellemoquin.com.”

The blocking is designed to frustrate the potential reader. It doesn’t happen all the time but enough to discourage most looking to check out or continue to tune into my blog.

Believe me, it has been frustrating as well for me. It has been hell for me sometimes to find my blog, and be able to access it so that I can write. I am continually bugging my server about it so that it can be rectified as quickly as possible. No one seemed to have an answer.

Yesterday I got this from a loyal reader. (Much gratitude – you know who you are) He/she showed me what was hidden in the search instructions when one attempts to find my blog through google.

So…as you can see, below is the e-mail, that I received, informing me that Google is blocking my blog. Don’t ask me how I found out. Don’t ask me who gave me this information. I got it and that’s all that matters.

It is nothing that anyone sees when they Google my name or my blog, but it is there. This is the hidden message that is directing Google and others to block access to my blog.

I highlighted the important part in RED – Notice it says, “Block all blog.michellemoquin.com results.” If you google blog.michellemoquin.com you don’t see the hidden message, but it is there.

SJÖGREN SYNDROME: THE MYSTERIOUS DISEASE IS BACK IN THE SPOTLIGHT

When tennis superstar Venus Williams recently announced that she had been diagnosed with Sjögren syndrome, the tennis world issued a collective gasp.

It was followed by the question: What on Earth is Sjögren syndrome? Venus had been plagued by, as she put it, an “energy-sucking” disease for some time.

She suffered from so much fatigue and joint pain that it was sometimes hard for her to even lift her racket. Fans were incredulous.

Venus appeared to be in such good shape and, in fact, had won her first match at the 2011 US Open. But then she withdrew from the competition suddenly. Many were bitterly disappointed and suggested that this was just an excuse for her to drop out of the tournament.

Nothing could be farther from the truth. I wrote about this disease several years ago (see Daily Health News, April 12, 2005), and even then, I noted that the idea that Sjögren’s patients were “faking it” or were hypochondriacs was nothing new.

That is due to two major factors — the disease is difficult to diagnose, and patients, like Venus, often appear to be perfectly healthy.

So let’s put this nonsense to rest and finally understand what we can about this mysterious — and serious — autoimmune disease.

FOUR MILLION AMERICANS HAVE THIS DISEASE

Sjögren syndrome is a chronic inflammatory disorder in which disease-fighting white blood cells mistakenly attack the body’s own moisture-producing glands, causing symptoms such as dry eyes and dry mouth.

The disease can strike children and older adults, but typically, patients develop it between the ages of 40 and the mid-50s. (Venus, who is only 31 years old, got it very young.)

Up to four million Americans have Sjögren’s (90% of them are female, though doctors aren’t sure why), and unfortunately there is no cure.

However, it can be managed. For insight, I called Alan Baer, MD, director of the Johns Hopkins Jerome L. Greene Sjögren’s Syndrome Center.

    MYSTERY DISEASE

    Sjögren’s can present many challenges…
It’s tough to diagnose. On average, it takes six and a half years for doctors to put the puzzle pieces together.

Symptoms seem unrelated. When the body’s immune system attacks the moisture-producing glands, it causes complications all over the body.

The eyes and mouth become dry — without the benefit of cleansing saliva teeth develop cavities… and fatigue and joint pain may develop. In women, there may be a lack of vaginal lubrication, which leads to increased risk for infection and pain during intercourse.

It’s dangerous. The longer a person goes without getting a diagnosis, the higher the health risks. If the disease advances undetected, it can set off a widespread inflammatory reaction that can harm the lungs, kidney, liver, pancreas and blood vessels as well as the gastrointestinal and central nervous systems.

Up to 30% of Sjögren’s patients suffer organ damage, and about 5% develop lymphoma (lymph node cancer).
An accurate diagnosis of the syndrome takes into account multiple factors, including a blood test to check for inflammation, antibodies and elevations in immune-related blood proteins.

A biopsy from the inside of the lower lip is taken to assess the inflammatory reaction within the small salivary glands. The production of saliva and tears is also tested.

    TOP TREATMENTS

Patients can choose from a variety of over-the-counter preparations that are generally very helpful for symptom relief, says Dr. Baer. Lubricants help with vaginal dryness.

For dry eyes, there are drops and ointments… and for dry mouth there are sprays, gums, gels, lozenges, mouthwashes and toothpastes.

More powerful prescription drugs can also help dry eyes and mouth. The drug hydroxychloroquine (brand name Plaquenil), originally developed to treat malaria, is useful in Sjögren’s to relieve fatigue and joint pain.

To quiet an overactive immune system, patients can take methotrexate (brand names Rheumatrex or Trexall) — it is used in high doses as chemotherapy, and now it’s also used in low doses to treat autoimmune disorders.

Methotrexate can be well-tolerated but can also cause some nasty side effects, including mouth sores, stomach upset, skin rash, hair loss and liver toxicity.

One bright spot: Research on drugs for autoimmune diseases is extremely active, and as general awareness of Sjögren’s increases, patients are not likely to be left behind.

    STEPS FOR QUALITY OF LIFE

Sjögren’s can be mild, moderate or severe. Severe cases can cause renal failure, disability due to peripheral neuropathy, impaired vision, hepatitis or pneumonitis.

But Dr. Baer says that most cases are mild. To help maintain quality of life, exercise of any kind is important for physical and psychological reasons.

An anti-inflammatory diet built on healthy foods is essential — eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, fish and other proteins, and limit processed foods and refined grains.

Dr. Baer says that fish oil supplements and flaxseed oil may help the problem of dry eyes.

To maintain a good level of energy, patients need plenty of sleep. They also need to avoid triggers such as extreme heat, fumes, cigarette smoke, dust and winds — all of which can aggravate symptoms.

Quality of life also has much to do with finding doctors who are well-versed in Sjögren’s.

Rheumatologists are the primary doctors who handle it, but the nature of the disease also requires the involvement of ophthalmologists, otolaryngologists, dentists, neurologists and for women, gynecologists.

Ideally, a patient will be treated at a Sjögren syndrome center, such as the one at Johns Hopkins, but these centers are relatively rare.

More typically, doctors treat Sjögren’s within rheumatology centers, where expertise on autoimmune diseases is available.

Once a patient has been diagnosed, his/her primary care doctor will locate an appropriate place for treatment.

For an impressive amount of information about the disease and tips for living well with it, go to the Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation Web site, http://www.Sjogrens.org.

As for Venus, she says that she is very glad to have a diagnosis. She had gone to one doctor after another and left without answers.

Now her symptoms all make sense, and she’s finally found the help she needs. There’s no doubt that her courage in coming out to talk about this mysterious illness will help many people down the road.

  2. Amber Says:

If we find out who wrote this they will pay.
    ————————————
I have been saying the whole tea-party (the original tea party. They’ve even been co-opted by wall-street now) was founded the night Obama won the election.

There was going to be a black family in the white house and they aren’t the servers and house keepers. I’ve said about a trillion times “A huge portion of white America was fatally offended that a black man was going to the most powerful man in the world.”

I never cemented that belief until I attended a few Texas Tea Party rallies with Tea Partiers in my family and in the state I fly from.

I attended rallies before organizers asked attendees to leave the signs with Obama with a bone through his nose at home, and afterward.

When the signs were not there anymore, the talk was out of control. People all over the place were saying that “they never thought they’d see the day when a ****** was president, and they will never accept it or recognize it.

By no means am I claiming to be the only person or the first person to know this. Many of the readers here at HuffPo have been aware of racism being the keystone of ultra-conservative politics.

The people in the republican party who aren’t like this at all, are so afraid of saying something or not going along with today’s talking conservative talking points, they just sit there looking like Stepford Congressmen.

They certainly aren’t saying things to change the image.
What amazes me, is that people, like Buchanan are no longer worried to say things like this.

As we get closer to 2012, their panic, their redrawing districts, their brief flotation of tokens like Herman Cain, and their stiffening of voter registration laws all over the country get worse.

That’s the kind of stuff you do when you know you can’t win an election ON THE ISSUES. You find ways to steal the election. (AGAIN!! God Forbid we ever have a 2000 type election again. It will take decades to correct all that damage)

    Disbelieving Says:

I didn’t understand your meaning. Tyna told me to try the Simulator. I don’t like the experience there so i set my exposure time for 9 minutes then I entered English definitions it sent me to American English and it sent me to Colloquiums (Late 60′s early 80′s) but I was out of time and had to start all over again.

Tyna says if I would take the time to learn the navigation I could enter where I was ejected. She is actually really sweet sometimes but that wasn’t one of them.

So I had to reprogram and go back in. 41 minutes later I got my answer. The laugh was worth it. So as a reward to you or is that the same as a thankyou to you.

One more visit to that aggravating Simulator seems to be in order. Anyway, let me answer your query to their “While they are selecting humans on this planet to command the kingdoms they have amassed…”

It’s quite simple actually. It’s really no secret. The TAO collects beings from the various places their original cadre visits and selects beings to enhance, train and allow to become part of the TAO.

In the beginning I liked the idea, but for it, I wouldn’t be on earth. But I don’t like the idea of humans being picked because I think it is very dangerous to enhance the human brain.

I am told that you are among the most promising or rather your brains are among some of the most promising prospects for genetic enhancement in the known universe.

They point out that while most others with great intellects do it with the use of 70 to 89% of their CPUs. Humans do it with so much space to spare that it has become a highly debatable issue as to whether an enhancement of their brains would be dangerous to the rest of the Known Universe.

I am with those that say very dangerous. It would be more like leaving a mad gorilla in charge of the Kitchen. The human greed and tendencies towards racism makes me vote on the side of keeping you in the cattle mode.

  4. Zen Lill Says:

Hi Mischa, I watched this video and just read Ambers lengthy comment, one word stood out: token. I know everyone knows that Cain(‘t) is just a GOP ploy to make themselves look NOT racist but please…c’mon now…I think Cain’t can now take a rest/eat pizza and he’s done his ‘duty’ for the GOP, I’m sure he’ll be paid kindly for any inconvenience and a book deal will be forthcoming…neeeeext…!

BTBPL, thanks for citing me, I think you’ve used my language in the easiest sense/interpretation of where I stand…unfortunately, the women I would love to address re: ‘be the change’ are very busy not reading here but being deeply indoctrinated by church and family (and society, unfortunately – it’s a psychological workover) into believing that their ‘place’ is mostly in allowing the human with appendage on the outside handle matters for them and the ‘family’.

Due to the way (most) women are brought up, the ones who’ve caught on and have not had encouragement from their males on the matter (i.e.me and probably many others here) we have to pay careful attention to how we ‘educate’ other women to WAKE THE F UP, I alway always couch my beliefs in, ‘don’t you want your daughter to have access to…(fill in blank)?’ or ‘if your son doesn’t have to pay for a sexual mistake, why would you want your daughter to give up her education/future…’ and I rail on things like stupid t-shirts that say subliminally undermining shit like ‘I’m too pretty for algebra’ etc…I never ever say anything about religion, just what seems obvious that women should be, do and have by this time in history (and OTW’s also, bc we are all minorities compared to white males).

That’s probably more commentary than you expected but my point/your point, be the change, grab the equality daily and wherever you can, you do not need to act ‘like a man’ to do this, just state openly what you will/will not put up with bc in every moment you teach people how you can be treated, at least here in Western society, so use it, forward the equality agenda, forward candidates that will ensure all human rights bc it’s not just women, it’s all the 99% and that percentage is made up of every size, shape, color, culture…and really church/state should all stay out of my uterus (unless you’re the chosen invited one).

…sigh…what we do need are more candidates who are interested in change from the top down, HIlary is a good example but she’s got that ex-pres of a hubby, that’s too much baggage, we need someone like her though.

…And I hate the way our supreme court is run in this country, it has little in the way of checks and balances, and they’re freaking LIFERS, we screwed up when we made that part of the deal.

Ok, I’ll get down off my soapbox now, I’m in need of a feed after all that : ) Luv, Zen Lill

  5. Zen Lill Says:

Tsarmi, is this mind/brain capacity have anything to do with us only using/accessing 12% of our minds (the conscious part) and bc our subconscious which we can only access (if we even want to) is through hypnosis and then we can actually speak to the other 88%, just curious why humans from earth would have greater mind/brain capacity. We act like a bunch of cattle at times towards each other and towards this planet, I can see why we’d be viewed that way, I would love to know if theres some room to evolve if we could get people out of the mire of their subconscious. I could be all wrong, please…elaborate if you would. Thank you, ZL

  6. Tsarmi Says:

    Zen Lill:

Just because you are taking Hypnosis as a career choice doesn’t mean you should put so much stock in it. It is a science that allows one to manipulate the brain and to access parts of the brain that would not be available otherwise.

But one has to be careful because under hypnosis the brain can imagine a experience and rewire itself so that what was imagined becomes a memory that it believes really happened.

It is a great for motivation and memory recovery.

The down side with that is if for instance one gets hypnotized to recover the face of someone who committed a crime. If the hypnotist is not careful and makes a suggestion as to the sex, race, or details of the person the subject is attempting to remember, the subject will absorb that suggestion and forever believe that was the person he/she saw.

The same is true for experiences one believes he or she experiences under hypnosis. Hypnosis can work but I wouldn’t trust a human doing it because if the technician isn’t skilled or has ulterior motives the memory the subject will be left with will be faulty and even dangerous.

  7. Lucy Says:

Jesus, Zen Lill when Tsarmi referred to us as cattle, he meant as food. The alien eats humans! We are just so much meat.

Tsarmi, are the rest of the TAO cannibals? And do you fuck your food too? I know they do.

    Lucy

  8. Zen Lill Says:

Yes, we’re just meat, I get that, Lucy, I think we act more like cannibals towards each other and the planet then, I stand corrected in my word choice. I’m curious, do you want to be fucked by alien before your eaten as dinner? I suppose it’d be a nice way to end your run here on earth, they do get their moves down using that simulator so it would be just as it pleases you.

Tsarmi, thanks for the warning, I have researched the downside well, in fact, it was part of the ‘rabbit hole’ mind control elites have used on operatives for many moons, I can appreciate your words and will act accordingly. I don’t think the planting of an experience or being suggestive in memory recall would be very ethical but then – hmm, I’m just that way, ethical, I would never screw with someones mind for control reasons (or any other reason).

    - ZL

  9. Tsarmi Says:

    Lucy:

I am not a cannibal. Cannibals eat their own. Humans torture, kill and even eat the ones they make love to. I do like human company and enjoy an occasional human meal though.

I have not tried to make love to one. Not because they are food, only because that is something I would need to get in a Simulator first and I am not too fond of our Simulator.

I will eventually give sex with humans a try. But I’m not ready yet. I’m having too much fun discovering the ways of the inhabitants.

But who knows I may meet that irresistible woman like I read about on this blog and she will sweep me off my feet.

Once upon a time there was a man caled Noha and he said God told him there was going to be a flood for forty day and nights.

All of the animals were scared, Noha said that he would build an ark and flot it on water. All of the animals were woried what would they eat on the ark.

Noha said that his three sons had been gathering food for days. And then it was decided that two of each animals was to go .

The next day it started to get cold and then it started to rain and then all the animals on the ark and they started to sail they sailed for a long time all of a sudden the ark started to tare apart and all of the animals and Noha came tumbling out of the ark all of the animals and Noha grabed pieces of wood the animals became resles after a while the red cross came and saved them.

It is said that Obama has come to Australia to see for himself the wrecked UFO craft. It is certain that once he sees it he will authorize a US presence on the world’s largest Island.

Then he will make a stop in Guam to see a few alien discoveries there. The question is will he announce what has been discovered to the world or will he continue the government habits of denying the presence of Alien visitors.

  13. Ethan Says:

I am a Penn State student. My question is why isn’t anyone discussing the fact that the kids may have liked it.

  14. Robert Says:

I’m a Penn State student and proud of it. This blog is bogus. It only has the negative press about Penn State. Now that it is out that McQueary stopped the abuse where is that press?

  15. Sarah Says:

You are all ignorant if you think McQueary stopped this rape, but failed to take the child down to the police headquarters. To my knowledge, the identify of the child McQueary witnessed is still unknown.

How does that happen? How does he not march the child down to the campus police HQ with him, if he genuinely stopped the rape?

  16. Pete Says:

Fuck you Sara. Yes, to YOUR knowledge. Exactly the problem, it’s about enough to fill a thimble. If you watched the Sandusky interview the defense is confident they have identified the alleged victim.

Don’t worry, when new facts come out you’ll have a chance to bastardize them and make up more bogus accusations based on what you want.

  17. Ryan Says:

Sara that was not McQueary’s decision. He stopped the act and made a report to his supervisor. Wake up.

  18. Anonymous Says:

It is becoming quite clear that this was a cover up of massive proportions.

The school, the coaches, the police, the boosters…EVERYONE covered this up, let Sandusky prey on innocent children and sat back and watched him use his “charity” as a breeding ground for his next victim.

This is going to get far worse before it gets any better.

I just hope that every single person responsible for allowing this to go on gets their due.

  19. Helen Says:

Sandusky started this foundation in the 70′s, he did not all of a sudden become a pedophile at age 55. There are many more victims and probably people who knew

  20. Loni Says:

Robert, Let me get this straight. McQueary claims to have sent an email to a friend saying he stopped the rape, and told the police. However,

When McQueary testified in court, he mentioned nothing of stopping the rape.

If McQueary did stop the rape, why didn’t he take the boy with him to the campus police, instead of allowing him to leave with Sandusky?

If McQueary did go to the campus police, why have they not furnished any records supporting this action?

I don’t buy it. This is most likely a bogus, forged email that a friend texted to media outlets to try and clear McQueary’s name.

  21. Anna Says:

Even if he omitted this detail from the Grand Jury Report, why would he not take the kid away from Sandusky and march him down to the campus police HQ? Defend that McQueary supporters.

  22. Bill Says:

I’m not defending McQueary but the Grand Jury indictment is *not* a transcript of anybody’s testimony. He very well could have said that he stopped it, or, as someone suggested, the question may not have been asked because it wasn’t relevant to what the GJ was investigating.

McQueary didn’t write the GJ report – the Grand Jury did. And this may very well lead to another investigation where he will be brought back to the GJ and asked to elaborate on what steps he took after the incident.

  23. Crane Says:

Sara he didn’t take the kid to the police station because he is not a cop.

  24. Grant Says:

The way I see it he reported to his supervisor. His supervisor reported to his supervisor. In accordance with the rules of the work place. Next question.

  25. Linda Says:

Whoa Mr. Crane, so because he’s not a cop, that makes it okay for him to let this child leave with Sandusky after he just witnessed Sandusky raping him?

    Wow.

  26. Janet Says:

Crane, Okay, so forget the testimony. You are missing the point. McQueary left without securing the child from Sandusky. The child left with Sandusky, not McQueary. McQueary didn’t take the child down to the police HQ. That is FACT.

  27. Marvin Says:

Hey you guys are hogging the site with this sick shit about a few boys who must have liked it I mean 10 year old kids know that showering with grown men is wrong but they did it anyways.

And why sleep over at Sandusky’s?

These kids were looking for some action maybe?

  28. Harmon Says:

Common sense at last. WHAT KIND OF WEIRDO KID SLEEPS OVER AT SANDUSKY’S HOUSE AND SHOWERS WITH HIM?

    Freaky!!!

  29. Anonymous Says:

I unfortunately live close to this $@%! hole university and know several people that have worked their for years.

From what Ive been told, the rumors about this sociopath have been going around up there since it started.

Wouldn’t be suprised if 75percent of the people in SLappy Valley knew and just turned a blind eye “for the better of the program”. You people are DELUSIONAL!!!!!!

I can say that it does not surpise me that Penn State Supporters are so blind to real life. They support a coach who says “Pray for the victims, or whatever they wanna be called.”

  30. Ed Says:

McQueary stopped the incident and reported on a timely basis to Joe, and Joe reported on a timely basis to his supervisor. These two are 100% in the clear. Sorry to spoil the fun.

DO TALLER PEOPLE GET MORE CANCER?

When people find out that I write about health for a living, they often tell me enthusiastically about changes they are making in their diet and exercise habits so they can be fitter, feel better and avoid disease, including cancer.

Naturally I applaud all these goals… but these conversations also remind me that no matter how hard we try, there are some risk factors for cancer (such as our family histories) that we just can’t escape.

And in fact a new study from the UK has discovered that one of those inescapable cancer risk factors — and it’s a surprising one — is how tall you happen to be!

The study analyzed data from 1.3 million middle-aged women enrolled in the UK’s Million Women Study conducted from 1996 to 2001 with a 10-year follow-up.

Researchers found that nearly 100,000 of the women had developed cancer over these years. And to their surprise, they also discovered that the women’s risk for cancer was directly related to their heights. The taller a woman, the greater her risk of developing cancer!

    RISK ACROSS THE BOARD

To analyze the data, the study authors grouped the women into six height categories starting with those with a height of about 5’1″ and stretching all the way to those who were 5’9″ and taller, said study coauthor Jane Green, DPhil, a clinical epidemiologist at the University of Oxford.

She told me that the risk for cancer increased 16% for every four inches of height above the shortest group (average height of 5’1″), or roughly 4% per inch.

The risk increase proved to be true for virtually all types of cancer, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, colon cancer, leukemia and melanoma.

Although this study focused on women, previous studies have indicated that the risk for cancer also increases with height in men.

    STILL A MYSTERY

Green told me that we don’t yet know what it is about height that plays a role in cancer risk. Some experts have suggested that it may involve levels of growth hormone in childhood —

it might be that growth hormone has some kind of direct or indirect influence on the growth of cancer later in life.

Another intriguing theory is that bigger people’s bodies simply have more cells, and that presents more opportunities for cells to mutate into cancer… but that’s just a theory.

    A REALITY CHECK

On average, tall people tend to be healthier than their shorter counterparts in many respects including, for example, cardiac risk.

And experts are quick to say that there is no reason for tall people to worry about having cancer screenings more often than shorter folks.

Here is why — and it is information that should cheer up tall people everywhere. While a 16% increase in cancer risk for every four inches of height sounds alarming, remember that this percentage is only the increase in risk compared with the shortest group — it is not anyone’s overall risk for getting cancer.

Instead, here are the overall risks for getting cancer, as found by this study, by height: In the shortest group, 7.8 of every 1,000 women developed some form of cancer (a 0.8% risk)…women of average height (5’3″) developed cancer at a rate of 8.7 per 1,000 (a 0.9% risk)…and for those in the tallest group ( 5’9″ and over), the number was 10.2 per 1,000 (a 1% risk).

That is a difference of just 2.3 people per 1,000 from the shortest to the tallest group.

There are plenty of things you can do (as you know) to reduce your risk for cancer — if you’re tall, maybe this study gives you a little extra nudge. Thankfully it’s not something to lose sleep over, though!

    ================
It may be true that Paterno and McQuery and the school officials should have done more, but as more info comes out it seems as though state police and other authorities received reports of Sandusky’s actions and for whatever reason covered it up or at least did not pursue it with nearly enough urgency.

Everyone is blaming the school and all of its higher-ups but it seems to me that the authorities are at fault just as much, if not more, for not going after this guy the way the should have and letting the investigation drag on for so long with no results.

  33. Gloria Says:

I have a question, why is it that the Board of Trusties isnt taking a hit for this? You dont think they knew?

  34. Mannix Says:

Wow. Everybody lost sight of what really happened here. Paterno and McQueary DID NOT molest children. Why is everybody talking about them? If i didn’t know the details i would have thought that Paterno and McQueary were raping kids.

  35. Joey Says:

A cover up is not saying anything. If you pay more attention you will see that they actually reported it the people they were legally obligated to report to.

And how come nobody is talking about Curley and Schultz. They are the ones that should have reported it to the police and start and investigation.

They stopped the process. Not Paterno and McQueary
