The True Origins of Mormonism Part 3

Good morning!
The last of this series:
The True Origins of Mormonism Part 3 (The Occult Connection)

Blog Business:
For those who can’t even “see” my blog, there is not much I can do since you can’t find it or pull it up. And all the newbies of my blog just joining me, who can “see”: My blog has issues. And those issues are that the powers that be don’t like what this blog has to say, nor the reach that this blog has. So…you might have trouble posting…you might get notices that say, “You’ve said that already” and yet, you don’t see your post.
Along with having a difficult time posting, my blog may not show up at all sometimes – like I don’t exist. I do. I posted this information last week, but will continue to post it periodically to keep those that have just started reading my blog informed.
Google is blocking my blog…whether they know it or not.
There are hidden instructions to block access to “blog.michellemoquin.com.”
The blocking is designed to frustrate the potential reader. It doesn’t happen all the time but enough to discourage most looking to check out or continue to tune into my blog.
Believe me, it has been frustrating as well for me. It has been hell for me sometimes to find my blog, and be able to access it so that I can write. I am continually bugging my server about it so that it can be rectified as quickly as possible. No one seemed to have an answer.
I got this from a loyal reader. (Much gratitude – you know who you are) He/she showed me what was hidden in the search instructions when one attempts to find my blog through google.
So…as you can see, below is the e-mail, that I received, informing me that Google is blocking my blog. Don’t ask me how I found out. Don’t ask me who gave me this information. I got it and that’s all that matters.
It is nothing that anyone sees when they Google my name or my blog, but it is there. This is the hidden message that is directing Google and others to block access to my blog.
I highlighted the important part in RED – Notice it says, “Block all blog.michellemoquin.com results.” If you google blog.michellemoquin.com you don’t see the hidden message, but it is there.

All I want to say is…
Robert, RT: I bet you didn’t realize your request to hook up was going to be taken as a clarion call. Good luck. :) Seriously, I think Romi’s advice is wise. I certainly wouldn’t want your life to be affected in a bad way over this.
The forum is open – Blog me.
Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.
Gratefully your blog host,

Doesn’t anyone care about current events anymore? MM blog reads more like “Peyton Place” than THE place to be.
I have been reading the news for several days and The U.S. Postal Service faces bankruptcy and plans cuts to slow the delivery of First Class Mail. I haven’t heard one word about it on this blog.
Facing bankruptcy, the U.S. Postal Service is pushing ahead with cuts to first-class mail next spring that will slow delivery and, for the first time in 40 years, eliminate the chance for stamped letters to arrive the next day.
The estimated $3 billion in reductions are part of an effort by the cash-strapped Postal Service to quickly trim costs, seeing no immediate help from Congress.
The changes would ultimately prove counterproductive, pushing more of America’s business onto the Internet. They could slow everything from check payments to Netflix’s DVDs-by-mail, add costs to mail-order prescription drugs, and threaten the existence of newspapers and time-sensitive magazines delivered by postal carrier to suburban and rural communities.
That birthday card mailed first-class to Mom also could arrive a day or two late, if people don’t plan ahead.
It’s a potentially major change, but I don’t think people are focused on it and it won’t register until the service goes away.
The cuts, now being finalized, would close roughly 250 of the nearly 500 mail processing centers across the country as early as next March. Because the consolidations would lengthen the distance mail travels from post office to processing center, the agency also would lower delivery standards for first-class mail that has been in place since 1971.
Currently, first-class mail is supposed to be delivered to homes and businesses within the continental U.S. in one day to three days. That will lengthen to two days to three days, meaning mailers no longer could expect next-day delivery in surrounding communities. Periodicals could take between two days and nine days.
About 42 percent of first-class mail is now delivered the following day. An additional 27 percent arrives in two days, about 31 percent in three days and less than 1 percent in four days to five days. Following the change next spring, about 51 percent of all first-class mail is expected to arrive in two days, with most of the remainder delivered in three days.
In addition to the planned closing of about 3,700 local post offices. In all, roughly 100,000 postal employees could be cut as a result of the various closures, resulting in savings of up to $6.5 billion a year.
Expressing urgency to reduce costs, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe said in an interview that the agency has to act while waiting for Congress to grant it authority to reduce delivery to five days a week, raise stamp prices and reduce health care and other labor costs.
This will affect us all. Many will be forced to use Ups and other private delivery companies to get their products to people on time. Think about it. NetFlix will not be able to deliver nex-day DVDs, People who rely on obtaining their medications on time will have problems.
This country is going to the dogs … but don’t think of asking politicians to make the rich pay their fair share of taxes to get this country out of debt.
The world that I was born into is crumbling apart and I don‘t understand why others do not see this or even care.

PRICELESS SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH RARE DISEASES
If you can’t imagine anything worse than being stricken with a debilitating disease or watching helplessly as that happens to someone you love, think about this –
wouldn’t it be all the more awful if the disease were so rare that you felt completely alone, with no one to talk to who knows what it’s like to live with that particular set of difficulties?
That kind of isolation used to be nearly insurmountable, but now there’s no need to go through it, thanks to the Internet — as long as you know where to go online.
RARE DISEASES ARE A COMMON PROBLEM
You may be surprised to learn that there actually are around 30 million or so Americans who suffer from so-called rare diseases, which are defined as conditions that affect fewer than 200,000 Americans.
There are about 7,000 diseases that fit this description. Some are far less rare than others, and not all are life-threatening, but in any case, who wants to feel as if he/she is a patient population of one?
That’s why I want to let you know about an organization that provides specialized help online for people with rare diseases.
Founded in 1983, the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) is a nonprofit based in Danbury, Connecticut, that is dedicated to identifying, treating and curing rare disorders through education, advocacy and research.
Though a rare disease, by definition, affects relatively few people, the truth is that people affected by rare diseases have quite a lot in common collectively, I learned from Mary Dunkle, vice president of communications for NORD.
For example, any patient with a rare disease might want to use NORD to…
Learn how to access “hard-to-get” medications, especially if you’re uninsured or underinsured.
Meet other patients who suffer from the same disease and who can provide support and understanding that your loved ones and close friends may not always be able to provide.
(Dunkle said that people often are so relieved and grateful when they finally connect with another person who “gets” them that they weep with joy!)
Read inspiring stories of patients triumphing over their disease.
Look at articles written by rare disease researchers. It’s important for individuals and families affected by rare diseases to learn as much as they can about their particular disease, including the latest research findings, so that they can be effective advocates for themselves, said Dunkle.
With so many rare diseases, it’s impossible for family physicians to always have the most current information, she added.
Find out the latest news about clinical trials that you might be able to participate in.
Learn about natural therapies and alternative treatments that may help you cope.
E-mail your questions about your disease to NORD’s in-house genetic counselor or registered nurse for free.
Discover other sites and organizations that support patients who suffer from your particular disease. NORD has a large, free database of disease-specific patient organizations.
Stand up for your rights. Patients and families can read about upcoming legislation that is of interest to them.
Check out NORD’s site at http://www.RareDiseases.org to learn more about your illness and/or tap into the kind of informed and empathetic emotional support that could help you cope.

Howie, Looks like Bush and criminals broke the US Postal service also.
Anything they didn’t break in this country?
December 5th, 2011 at 9:31 am
Since we are already well on the way to becoming a banana republic (without bananas, except for our politicians) why not close the post office period.
Let UPS and Fedex deliver mail. They seem to know how to make money, where the post office knows how to urinate it away.
December 5th, 2011 at 9:33 am
Howie, I’ve worked for the Postal Service for 33 years. I feel that the credit card mess has contributed to the decline of the USPS.
I used to mail out all my bills, but kept getting notices and charges and rate increases from the cc companies when they didn’t get my payment on time.
It wasn’t USPS’s fault, it was the companies lying. So I went to online payments with a confirmation number . Multiply me by a couple of million people and there goes your First Class mail.
December 5th, 2011 at 9:34 am
The USPS is so screwed up that I doubt if they will ever recover. On the other hand I have to say considering the volume they handle they do a pretty good job and need to be credited for that.
December 5th, 2011 at 9:52 am
I want to thank all of you for your interests. But I will have to decline. I really didn’t realize the power or reach of this blog.
Fortunately I was able to change my schedule and I will not be coming on those dates. I am sorry to disappoint anyone but I have to think about the ramifications of my rash offer.
Howie, I agree in part the P.O. is a serious issue. But so are the social inter-activities of the rest of us.
This is the “place to be” for “Peyton place” or any topic that arises. Michelle’s blog is big enough for everyone to express their opinions, angsts, and personal interests.

Bush’s incompetence exposed a great deception by the elite. His ineptitude made the citizens aware that the American Dream was just a fabrication used to control the lowly masses while the elite counted their rapidly amassing gold reserves.
The little people dreamed of being wealthy just like them one day so they protected the wealthy’s horde.
They bought into the GOP trickle down theory of protect the rich for they are the true providers for the lowly in society through their ability to hire or donate to charity and uplift those less fortunate.
This dream is a lie and most Americans now should know that the system is obviously rigged to keep the rich rich and the poor poor.
The middle class is being squeezed for every dime the elite can force them to pay. They are being told that health care like the other industrial nations have is too expense of this nation to give to them.
They buy into the lie because they don’t want to have to contribute to those less fortunate than themselves.
Ignorance, greed, bigotry, racism and lack of empathy work to keep the middle class unable to unite to defeat the minions in government that work for the elite.
Hence the cycle of taking this nation and now the world into bankruptcy once every decade continues.

hahaha…I was just going to tell you RobertRt that due to my own privacy concerns that while I’d love to meet the infamous mister I will decline esp w/a line a mile long, you’re good but no one is that good ; )
Mischa, good one, and you know what, maybe you could keep reposting for newbies or something new about how crazy this cult is esp if Romney is looking like the front runner (only runner the GOP can come up with…) bc it’s info everyone needs to know about Mormons. Thanks for keeping us on our toes all the time, it’s much appreciated.

We are petitioning the TAO to recognize our desire to punish Japan for poisoning the part of the ocean our people are dwelling in.
The Japanese are secretly leaking tons of highly radioactive water from their crippled nuclear power plant into the ocean just above them.
It is slowly poisoning the sea creatures. Many will produce mutations and others will lose the ability to procreate all together.
Either make it known to other nations so that they will force Japan to stop or allow us to destroy that nation once and for all.

Robert Rt:
I dig your new handle. Look at the stir you caused by announcing your itinerary in LA.
I see that you finally have realized that it was a disaster to announce your whereabouts on this blog. Anonymity is very sacred to people with titles on MM blog.
I agree that Michelle’s blog is big enough for everyone to express their opinions. However not mentioning an issue as large as the slow death of the USPS is a shame.
I am glad to be the messenger of this news since it affects every one of us in some way.
Have fun in LA.

The right is going after the mormom as I predicted. In Republican world there is only one legitimate religion. That religion being born again christian.
December 5th, 2011 at 10:33 am

December 5th, 2011 at 10:40 am
Zen Lill come on girl.
You didn’t need to put up that front. Admit it you were just as disappointed as we were when we got the message from Robert that he had changed his mind about meeting his potential harem.
ha,ha, indeed
December 5th, 2011 at 10:43 am
Michelle, you and the rest of the Obama boot lickers can try all you want but Romney is by far the most qualified to run the country.
Independents like him because he is a centrist and disenchanted Democrats will vote for him. The Post’s smear as one of Obama’s cheer leaders will not change the facts. The White House does not want to run against him.
December 5th, 2011 at 10:44 am
Howie,
I like your response to Robert. It shows what a gentleman you are. If only the republican candidates could take a note from you.
Irene
December 5th, 2011 at 10:50 am
Zen Lill:
You take the cake. You are the second person to respond to Robert’s invitation and when he declines, you rush to decline after he declines.
Does “you’re fired, no I’m not fired, I quit.” sound familiar.
We didn’t take it personally that the man realized he had made a mistake because as Howie pointed out “Anonymity is very sacred to people with titles on MM blog.” So why did you feel that you had to be the one to call off the meeting you wanted as much as the rest of us?
Your bad girl.

Foxnews does not want Romney to get the nomination and Foxnews has a lot of sway for Republican primary voters so Romney is really in a sticky situation since Foxnews will hit Romney with questions (yes, they are fair questions) but with questions that will hurt him with Republican Primary Voters while Foxnews will play softball with other Republicans.
Of course if Romney pulls off the nomination you can bet Foxnews will jump into bed with Romney and Romney’s difficulties with the Far Right and Foxnews will be spun by the Romney camp to Centrist Voters as proof that he is not a far right winger…

Only stupid and dumn people believed his lies and bullshit..
He made up every little thing in his story, just to be famous and he is alright..
I bet ya he is in hell right now with all the demons of hell. He never saw God or Jesus..who he saw was Lucifer and his angel..
Stop Spreading lies morman, cause you’r just digging your road to hell.
December 5th, 2011 at 11:02 am
Some catholic guy told me that only those that are saved by Jesus will go to heaven and I said why would I take a step backwards, to return to the prison of religion?
Flesh is good, mind is good.
I think with my brain and flesh and conclude if god says only people who believe in jesus are saved then he is a mean awful bastard that created millions of people for the joy of torturing them.
I would rather be in hell with the buddhists they are gentle and not dogmatic haters.
December 5th, 2011 at 12:46 pm
oh please ladies, stand freaking down, hahaha…I am busy as is everyone else, and I like my personal privacy and I do not require more ‘dick’ than I currently am getting, black or otherwise, thank you very much. I sure as hell don’t line up for it, I did think a drink and seeing what the man was like in person would be fun though. am I disappointed, no…make of that what you will, bc you always do : D – ZL
December 5th, 2011 at 12:55 pm
…and if any of you would like to be part of any man’s ‘potential harem’ (which is part of why I said no thanks after I thought my offer would be misconstrued as a ‘hook up at a hotel’, no, not lining up for anyone), you can have at it although that just doesn’t sound like a liberating experience to me. I do my choosing of (potential) partners, they do not choose me from a line up, don’t care how hot he is…ZL
December 5th, 2011 at 2:23 pm
Ladies, since when has an invitation to meet with become an invitation to sleep with?
I did not take any of your acceptances as an okay to make a pass at you. I am a gentleman and as such I respect any woman or man in my presence.
I applaud those of you who were willing to take a chance on meeting this perhaps overly opinionated old man.
I deeply regret not being able to meet with you but, under the circumstances it would not have been prudent. I do look forward to a continued conversation through the blog.
It is very nice to know that so many of you think I am worth a visit. Thank you for thinking of me in such a fine way.
Your friend

Every one of Trump’s arguments basically comes down to his saying, “I’m the greatest, and anyone who says I’m not is a liar.”
Such overcompensation! He must have an itty bitty…..
December 5th, 2011 at 2:37 pm
Anyone here going to buy Trumps book? No? Anyone? Its hard to imagine people were actually going to vote for this clown to be president.
But then again, they voted for Bush… twice. And we’re still living with the consequences.
December 5th, 2011 at 2:40 pm
I do not understand why anyone gives a damn what Trump thinks. He’s not a politician, he’s a sometimes successful business man when he is not fighting bankruptcy.

George Will offered some choice words for Herman Cain on Sunday.
Appearing in a roundtable discussion on ABC’s ‘This Week’ with Christiane Amanpour, the conservative columnist called Cain an “entrepreneurial charlatan” and accused him of being an opportunist.
“Mr. Cain, who used this as a book tour, in a fundamentally disrespectful approach to the selection of presidents,” he said.
======================
Although I dislike Mr. Cain and all he stands for. My response to that racist george will is, R-E-A-L-L-Y?
Where were you when Sarah Palin was “campaigning” for dollars?
Ruth
December 5th, 2011 at 2:49 pm
Ed tells it like it is. A big problem for our country is that there are too many Anderson Coopers who try to ride the middle rather than telling it like it is. We end up with half truths and false equivalancy.
December 5th, 2011 at 2:52 pm
SO, I’m not really a “media savvy” kinda guy but, in that slideshow of ratings, is the reason FOX News places, like, “tops” in this category because the viewers just never change the station?
I mean, I’ve breezed through the station, and it seems like the only people who could watch it (or ANY News/Talk Hybrid) for more than an hour are the far right folks for vindication,
the far left folks for reasons to mock the far right, and the elderly who’ve forgotten where they put the remote, but they’re in the next room over; so it’s really just white noise while they do the Jumble and wait for Agnes to call about Bingo.
December 5th, 2011 at 2:54 pm
Isn’t this just awful. I feel so sorry for americans.
This isn’t the first study that has found that Fox News viewers more misinformed in comparison to others. Last year, a study from the University of Maryland found that Fox News viewers were more likely to believe false information about politics.
December 5th, 2011 at 2:59 pm
Imo, the pathetic thing is, people who watch Fox News think they know more than anyone else. They are certain of their knowledge of the issues.
You can’t talk to these people. They are so misinformed, you don’t know where to begin when trying to set them straight.
But they would also rather believe the lies because it plays into their agenda of greed, racism, bigotry and hate.
December 5th, 2011 at 3:02 pm
If you need any additional proof of the statement consider the Republican pool of candidates. They are champions of Fox news and Fox vehemently protects and defends their public shortcomings.
I don’t believe I’ve ever witnessed any greater gaggle of students of the absurd then these birdbrains. It surely causes one to question if we are to assume these are the best-of-the-best in this party.

THE SPICE THAT COULD KEEP ALZHEIMER’S AWAY
When I saw a recent study saying that a common kitchen spice may help sweep something called cellular metal toxicity from the brain –
specifically excessive amounts of iron and copper, which have been linked to diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s — it made me want to spice up my life.
I’m talking about curcumin, a phytochemical that is found in the spice turmeric. This intriguing study comes from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston — it was published in Journal of Biological Chemistry.
We’ve been learning for years that this phytochemical can prevent and treat many diseases, such as certain cancers, but this is the first study to suggest that curcumin is also beneficial to the brain.
SWEEPING AWAY METALS
Lead study author Muralidhar Hegde, PhD, and senior author Sankar Mitra, PhD, noted that our bodies naturally contain trace amounts of certain metals, including copper and iron.
In small amounts, these metals are not only harmless but essential for good health. But some people’s brain cells — for reasons that scientists don’t yet completely understand — start accumulating large amounts of copper or iron, which can wreak havoc.
If you have a large amount of iron and copper in your brain cells, the extra “free” metals overwhelm the proteins that are supposed to store them and start causing two major problems.
First, they initiate chemical reactions that lead to DNA damage. And then, to make matters worse, Dr. Hegde and colleagues found, they also interfere with DNA repair enzymes that attempt to fix the damage.
Since too much unrepaired DNA damage can lead to neurodegenerative disorders, that’s one scary situation.
THE WONDER SPICE
But it’s not all doom and gloom. The researchers tested several chemicals called metal chelators and natural dietary and/or plant components in petri dishes to see if any of the substances would help keep iron and copper stored so they wouldn’t interfere with the DNA repair enzymes.
All the substances tested worked to some extent, but there was one that worked better than all the rest — curcumin.
“Curcumin appeared to stop the metals from blocking the DNA repair by more than 90% to 95% — so it essentially reversed the damage to the genetic material,” said Dr. Hegde.
A natural remedy that may help stave off Alzheimer’s disease is exciting to think about — but, said Dr. Hegde, it’s important to keep the nature of this particular finding in context.
Animal testing is in order to confirm that curcumin is an effective treatment and to know exactly how much curcumin belongs in the ideal dose, then researchers can move on to human studies.
In the meantime, since what we are talking about is just a common spice, what can’t hurt — and might greatly help — is to consume greater quantities of curcumin in foods like Indian and Asian dishes.

Robert,Rt, why not visit Africa? Kenya to be specific. We would love to see you here.
December 5th, 2011 at 3:50 pm
Robert it is a shame Zen Lill and I won’t get to ride that chocolate pony, and you won’t get to discover what two horny blond bookends can do for the libido. But all is not lost.
You know where we live. When you check in at the Terranea Resort why not visit Labera Linda Park on the weekends between 11AM and 2 PM. The tall fine blond working out there will be me.
I’m sure we can find a way to hook-up with Zen Lill and get our groove on. Let’s make it happen.

Steffi, you are on your own, luv, have fun, ZL
December 6th, 2011 at 2:29 am
Steffi, I’m 24, 5’11′, blond and I live in your area. Zen Lill is probably a little old to be a bookend. I’m sure in her day she held up her end in the sex for fun way but this is 2011.
I’ll be your other half of a bookend. We almost met last Thursday at the park. As I was getting into my car our dogs starting barking at each other. My pit bull and your white miniature poodle. You smiled, pointed to your dog, drew your hand across you throat and drove off.
If you are interested we can meet there Thursday at 11:30. Don’t bring your poodle and I’ll leave Bolt at home.

Japanese and Korean travelers pick Guam as a top destination
Dec 05, 2011
TUMON, Guam – Japanese travelers make up 70.9 percent of Guam’s arrivals, with Koreans comprising 12.8 percent this calendar year to date.
So it’s no surprise that Guam ranks highly in the Visa Global Travel Intentions Survey 2011.
According to the survey, Japanese travelers (11 percent of respondents) ranked Guam as the 8th most likely international leisure destination in the next 2 years.
South Koreans (12 percent of respondents) also placed the island in 8th place. There were a total of 15 leisure travel destinations ranked.
The survey also reveals the demographics of Japanese and Korean travelers most likely to visit Guam in the next 2 years.
Japanese travelers are generally married with kids, an average of 40 years old, and seek self-organized travel with family or relatives. They seek accommodations at 3- to 4-star hotels and are willing to pay extra for beauty or wellness treatments. Their average stay would be 6 nights.
Korean travelers are single, an average of 32 years old, and are interested in flexible individual tours with family or relatives. Koreans also prefer 3- to 4-star hotels, stay an average of 8 nights, and would pay more for exotic locations and local cuisine.
“It’s no surprise that Japanese and Korean travelers love Guam’s unique culture, pristine marine environment, and duty-free shopping,” said GVB General Manager Joann Camacho, “We’re committed to strengthening our reputation as a luxury travel destination so that perhaps next survey, Guam will rank first.”
In August 2011, Japanese travelers ranked Guam 2nd in the category, “The Best 20 Beaches in Japan & Overseas,” on Trip Advisor.
In addition, Guam’s Coco Palm Garden Beach ranked 19th, and Guam’s northern Ritidian Point ranked 20th in the “Best Beaches” category. Guam finished 7th in “The Best Places You Have Visited” in 2010.
This calendar year to date, Guam has received 678,254 Japanese visitors and 122,176 Korean visitors.

It is the attitude we show our visitors that they take back home. You have done well Guam.

Saying Grace
Special Ways to Give Thanks
If you don’t usually say grace before meals, you might want to start doing so this Thanksgiving—and whenever your family dines together.
It’s a way to remind ourselves of all we have to be thankful for. Plus, for many families, the evening meal is the only time spent together.
Grace provides an opportunity to reflect on how precious this time is.
If you say grace often, you may want to change what you say occasionally so that the words don’t become rote and meaningless.
We have collected more than 300 mealtime graces from around the world. Some of our favorites…
For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends, For everything Thy goodness sends.
— Ralph Waldo Emerson, Unitarian minister, poet and essayist (1803–1882)
May all beings have happiness and the
causes of happiness.
May all beings be free from sorrow
and the causes of sorrow.
May all never be separated from the
sacred happiness which is sorrowless.
May all live in equanimity, without
attachment or aversion, believing
in the equality of all that lives.
—Traditional Buddhist prayer
Thank Heaven for this food and for this company. May it be good for us.
—Greek prayer
May we be a channel of blessings for all that we meet.
— Edgar Cayce, American spiritualist (1877–1945)
God of pilgrims, give us always a table to Stop at where we can Tell our story and Sing our song.
— Father John Giuliani (1932–),
Benedictine Grange, West Redding,
Connecticut
Just to be is a blessing.
Just to live is holy.
— Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel,
author (1907–1972)

This is one fucked up blog to check in on. When you can find it, you often can’t get on. When you get on you can’t figure out what the topic is. When you figure out what the topic is and you decide to comment you can get on.

Right now we have a huge opportunity to deal what’s being called a “serious blow to one of Washington’s most powerful lobbies.”
1.The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is an army of lobbyists for hire by mega-corporations like banks and those in the fossil fuel industry. In 2009, it spent more corporate money on lobbying than the next five biggest spenders combined.
2. And 93% of its campaign spending goes to support Republicans and attack Democrats.
3. Google is a paying member of the Chamber, which means that part of the money they make from Google users—ordinary people like us using Gmail, Google search, and other Google products—goes into the Chamber’s pockets to fight for Wall Street and Big Oil.
But the Washington Post and Politico recently reported that at Google headquarters, employees are intensely debating whether Google should quit the Chamber in the next few weeks.
4. Google quitting would be a huge blow to the Chamber’s credibility. That’s why we’re partnering with SumOfUs, a new movement to give consumers a voice in corporate decisions, to make the case to Google that they should leave the Chamber.
As Google users, we can help those Google employees make their case.
Google’s unofficial motto is “Don’t Be Evil.” And they want to do what’s right for their users. But by staying in the Chamber, they’re legitimizing an institution that’s hurting their users all around the world every day. That’s why we’re partnering with the new organization SumOfUs to encourage Google to leave the Chamber.
There are dozens of reasons for Google employees—and Google users—to want Google out of the Chamber.
Google’s business model relies on a free and open Internet; right now the Chamber is pushing Congress to pass an Internet censorship bill that would empower big corporations to shut off ordinary citizens’ websites without even a hearing.
5. Google invests millions in renewable energy; the Chamber has called for a “Scopes monkey trial” to assault the science of climate change.
6. Google leads the world in workplace policies supporting LGBT employees; the Chamber fights against basic anti-discrimination laws.
7.The Chamber’s power rests on its credibility as a voice for business. When Apple quit the Chamber in 2009 for ideological reasons, it made headlines all over the world.
8. If Google quits, it will be huge news and will undermine the Chamber’s influence in Washington.
Google users are the 99%. The Chamber is the 1%. Join the call now for Google to be a champion for its users all over the world by quitting the U.S. Chamber of Commerce:
Thanks for all you do.

When a product is being pitched with dishonest advertising images it too is false, like the cigarettes being advertised pool playing camels.
It is a fair frame logic that rests on my observation that patterns in story told around a product are also present with the product.
When Mitt Romney’s spinmeister, Eric Fehrnstrom ran ads in New Hampshire showing an out of context remark by President Obama it told less about Obama than it did product Romney.
It was one big lie. Unfortunate, but where to turn when few rules govern?
We can look to another form of contest for guidance, boxing where it was unanimously ruled by the California State Athletic Commission to revoke the licenses of boxer, Antonio Margarito Montiel and his trainer Javier Capetillo after Margarito was found to have illegally doctored hand wraps in 2009 Margarito’s Gloves were loaded with a plaster like substance.
The CSAC found that even though Margarito did not know about the gloves, as head of the team, he was responsible for Capetillo’s actions.
Analogies to a “bare knuckled fight” justify the Romney team antics in New Hampshire. This is not as honest as a bare knuckled fight.
It is much more like a Margarito match where the gloves are loaded and actions beg the intersession of an authority, because how can boxers or politicians, who fight with loaded gloves, be trusted to play fair in any arena.

I love this blog also. And I understand Howie/privacy statement very well now also. And I don’t want to be a ‘bookend’ or part of anyone’s ‘harem’ and that’s got little to do with age, just personal choice. Those who want to bookend or harem, please…carry on and I’m sure there are plenty of men in every town that will oblige you in that matter, though maybe RobertRt may not care to. It’s interesting that the word ‘harem’ was tossed in the word salad here bc I thought men who had harems were frowned upon, I guess I was mistaken and some women like to be part of a harem? I’m not really sure what to make of that statement, it did stun me though, I’ll admit it. – ZL
