Good morning!

Readers: I am amazed that such a comment posted on my blog is left untouched…no response. At least not as of 10:10 PM Monday evening. ( I am wring this on Monday night, as you know it is my up and out of here early morning.) It happens pretty often after someone confesses their crimes, that nothing is said. Sometimes I think that there is so much bad that happens in this world that we have become desensitized to reading something such as what Charles posted. Or perhaps we are just shocked and don’t know how to respond. We all know horrific things happen every day…we hear confessions quite often here. But that doesn’t make them less tragic or less sickening just because we hear of them more often. I know you know this.

For me, I feel helpless; especially lately. I don’t know how to stop the sick racists from the evil that they do. Not sure they can be stopped if we keep allowing gun laws to remain how they are today. So what do I say to Charles? I am a bit speechless too. Yes, I can call him a sick, evil person. But what I want to ask is: “Are you still the same sick person you were? Ad if not, what are you doing to redeem yourself?” Because what you did is deeply disturbing, and I can on HOPE that you are doing something to make up for your evil. Well?

This was sent to me and I thought it was apropos. It was originally aired in 2007 on 60 Minutes but didn’t get much media coverage. Jut recently the following e-mail has been circulating.

VERY sad, unbelievable….

This  story was aired on CBS on “60 MINUTES” ** about a long-secret German  archive that houses a treasure trove of information on 17.5 million victims of the Holocaust.

The archive, located in the German town of Bad  Arolsen , is massive (there are 16 miles of shelving containing 50 million  pages of documents) and until recently, was off-limits to the public.

But after the German government agreed earlier this year to open the archives,  CBS News’ Scott Pelley traveled there with three Jewish survivors who were  able to see their own Holocaust records.

It’s an incredibly moving piece,  all the more poignant in the wake of the meeting of Holocaust deniers in Iran and the denial speeches in the UN. We’re trying to get word out about  the story to people who have a special interest in this  subject.

Hi Mischa, oh I read alright, and as you stated I just had no idea how I could/should response to a comment like that. When I read things like that I often don’t desensitize, I get overloaded with what was stated and have an internal denial session about the horrific things he mentioned. How do you redeem yourself after treating other humans that way?
I’m not sure you can return to human after that animal behavior. Just not sure that could happen…

Michelle, that happened a long time ago. I spent three years of my life moaning my lost child. Then one day I woke up and just stopped.

I realized that she was probably a sneaky jew all along sent in by that rat race to dilute Gods true children.

As I see it my sin was letting what happened separate me from my brethren. I am going back. Niggers, jews(that includes jew bitches that try to seduce us with their bodies), wets, rag heads and muds WILL feel my wrath.

We are the last bastion between keeping our race pure and having the white race become muddied with tainted blood. That jew bitch almost accomplished what she was sent to do. But thank God the ovens up and swallowed that bitch and that cur in her belly.

    Thank you for your concern.

I read the ridiculous fantasy of a person who is obviously sick in the head for even thinking such thoughts.

He is a coward who thought he would impress some so-called friends by posting that comment yesterday.

This is more of the continuing story of Tsarme.

It is Azza’s belief that if Tsarme leaves the Climaxx he will not be allowed to return before he is asked to help Tsarmi on Krijo.

Presently the aliens on earth are in control of the peaking anomalies. They have a spread of aliens on the eight possible poles that would reflect Tsarme’s influence over the anomaly.

That Anomaly was not the entire purpose of saving Tsarme. Azza has a Commander’s interest in saving a member of her crew. No TAO is left behind if at all possible.

    Can Phone Therapy Treat Depression?

You already know that in-person therapy can help people who suffer from depression.

But getting to a therapist’s office isn’t always easy or convenient—and for some people, it’s overwhelmingly uncomfortable to look someone in the eye (or even be in the same room) and talk about personal difficulties.

So what about phone-based therapy, which doesn’t require travel or face-to-face interaction? Is that as effective?
An interesting new study compared the two types…

    FACE-TO-FACE VS. OVER THE PHONE

This study used cognitive behavioral therapy, which helps people identify—and change—destructive thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to many cases of depression.

In the study, people with depression were randomly divided into two groups. One group was assigned to 18 face-to-face therapy sessions, and the other was assigned to 18 telephone sessions.

Before participants began treatment, their levels of depression were rated by trained evaluators using the standard Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (the higher the score, the more severe the depression).

    Results:
The therapies were equally effective in reducing depression symptoms after the 18 sessions…at that point, both groups’ scores dropped by about 10 pounts.

Six months later, the telephone-therapy group had lost a little ground, with its score edging back up by 1.5 points…while the face-to-face group’s score had actually improved by an additional 0.4 points.

So face-to-face therapy appeared to be slightly more effective six months after treatment. But that’s a very close one-two finish, when you consider that the telephone group’s depression symptoms were still much improved even six months after therapy had ended!

What’s important to note, however, is that there was a big difference between the two groups in terms of who was able to complete the therapy—participants in the phone-therapy group were more likely to finish all the sessions. By the end of the study, only 67% of the face-to-face group members remained in treatment, while 79% of the telephone group remained.

Knowing that those “dropouts” were included in the average Hamilton scores listed earlier, it makes me think that face-to-face therapy might be not just slightly more effective but perhaps much more effective when patients actually attend the sessions.

But more research is needed before we can say for sure. Plus, this study looked at symptoms after only six months—the study’s researchers will be exploring longer-term follow-up data from these patients.

    NOT IDLE CHATTER

To learn more, I called study coauthor Michelle Burns, PhD, a research assistant professor in the department of preventive medicine and at the Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies (CBITs) at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.

It’s unknown exactly why face-to-face therapy may have been more effective, but she has a few theories. For instance, depressed people often don’t want to leave the house, so simply visiting the therapist’s office might have been therapeutic…perhaps seeing a patient in-person—and noticing nonverbal cues, such as hygiene, wardrobe and body language—helped the therapist learn more about the patient, which in turn helped the therapist treat the patient more effectively…

it could be that for a patient, seeing a therapist’s facial expressions is more helpful, because those visual cues may help the patient remember the skills learned in therapy.

More patients might have stuck with phone therapy, Dr. Burns said, because it’s less intimidating…because there are transportation, time and other logistic barriers that can make it challenging to attend face-to-face therapy…and perhaps also because the therapists initiated calls with the patients (whereas the therapists doing face-to-face sessions did not come to the patient’s home).

    WHICH THERAPY IS BETTER?

This study suggests that face-to-face therapy may be more effective for reducing depression, but that phone therapy is also a surprisingly effective option. The researchers hope that this study will be a wake-up call to insurers, who mostly don’t cover phone therapy.

Meanwhile, if you’re interested in phone therapy, many cognitive behavioral therapists are willing to work over the phone. Ask your medical doctor for the names of skilled therapists, or look for one in your area who treats depression by searching the therapist locator on the Web site for the American Psychological Association’s APA Practice Organization at http://locator.apa.org/.

  10. CD Says:

The concern is not about Mitt being rich. The concern is about his foreign account activities that he has availed himself of. The concern is about where all his unearned profit came from and how that matches with his words.

How it might be that his making millions off investments that benefited from shipping jobs overseas would make him qualified to now lead an economy that needs jobs not an expert at sending them overseas.

The concern is what tax loopholes he has advantaged himself from while seeking to lower them further (for himself), or worse what tax evasion amnesties he might have participated in.

In short, we all know that he is rich. Just ask him. He is in a world that worries about car elevators for his garage, about tax deductible dressage horses he sky lifts to the Olympics, a world of owners skyboxes, for a man who has never never himself rubbed the dust from a bleacher seat in his life. His out of touchness is palpable. So what we don’t know about his finances is what concerns us.

He says there is nothing to see. … I say then there must be nothing to hide. …Time to show those returns and foreign account activities.

  12. Catherine Says:

For those of you who want proof that Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School:

    ***********************************
    Here you go:

What was Barack Obama’s class rank at Harvard Law School?

    Answer:

We do not rank students at HLS. The student with the top GPA is awarded a prize, the rare student who gets mostly A+s is awarded summa cum laude, there are many years where no one obtains this degree.

However, one can infer from his magna cum laude degree that he was in the top 10% of his class. His position on the law review could mean he was high within that 10% bracket. But there is actually a way to know where he ranks from #1 through 10%.

Magna cum laude is awarded to the top 20% of graduating students. Summa cum laude is awarded to the top 4-5% of graduates.

But when Barack Obama graduated from Harvard Law School no one had graduated Summa cum Laude from Harvard in decades and no one graduated Summa cum Laude that year (when he graduated), either.

Barack Obama graduated Magna cum Laude and had the highest GPA of anyone graduating from Harvard Law School that year.

Therefore he received a prize for having the highest GPA. Some of Obama’s classmates who also graduated that year have publicly stated that Obama won the prize for having the highest GPA in the class.

  13. Scott Says:

Damn, Howie, you make this blog exciting. You charles make it known how sick some members of our society really are.

    Scott

  14. Jean Says:

This is how I feel. When Romney ran against Kennedy he demanded that Kennedy show all his tax returns then. Well Romney is running once again now we want him to lay all his tax returns on the table.

This man acts that we owe him, we don’t owe him Jack! Just because he has money means nothing to me. He’s just like any other man, he puts his pants on the same way as any other man. The only thing with him he’s rich and that’s it!

  15. SS Says:

I just went in for a re-fi on my mortgage and for giggles I brought my school transcripts instead of my tax returns, not bad, 3.9 GPA, but the funny thing was they still wanted my tax returns, 3 yrs. and a year to date income report.

  16. John Says:

Romney should make a deal with Obama. Romney will release all his tax data if Obama will release his college transcripts. Would Obama agree to this arrangement?

  17. Cathy Says:

SS, And I am sure you told them that “you people have seen everything you need to”, right? Did you tell them my returns are private? Mitt seems to think it works.

  18. Lamar Says:

John, Obama doesn’t have to show his GPA because that will not tell the voters anything about what will influence his decisions as president.

But if we expect the voter to produce ID to vote shouldn’t the person the voter is deciding on have to show that what could influence him when he makes policy that will affect that voter.

I.E. how he will vote on tax issues – this will undoubtedly be affected by what kind of loop holes he used to avoid taxes on a huge income.

Will he side with his fellow 1% or will he side with the 98%

If he feels that his taxes is too private to show to the country that he is seeking to lead 350,000,000 out of the worst financial situation in the country’s history but not to one man who he was seeking the position of VP on his ticket, what does that say about what he thinks of the 350,000,000 over a member of that 1%?

The real question is, why doesn’t he want to release those college records? There has to be a reason and I bet I know what that reason is.

  19. FP Says:

Romney has no doubt paid more taxes in a month than most Americans earn in a lifetime. Unlike the president, Romney has actually done something outside of government.

The media, however, are happy to pretend that Romney’s personal taxes are crucial in this election…after all, it takes the attention off Mr Obama and his dismal four year record.

The people I run into around this blue collar area are far more concerned about their jobs. In that sense I guess they have a lot in common with our president.

  20. Anonymous Says:

Maybe we can look at the finacial records from the Olympics………….I would like to know how all of that tax money was spent………….I forgot…….Mitt destroyed all of the finacial records…………….I wonder why?

  21. Cathy Says:

    FP#19
What blue collar area is that? ’cause Obama is leading in PA, OH, and MI – me thinks you are fibbing.

  22. Anonymous Says:

If you’re not going to release your tax returns, could you at least release something interesting; like a list of the names of the people you posthumously baptized.

  23. CS Says:

Newsflash: Romney is rich. Really, really rich. Are you going to be ok?

It is bizarre how the left has waited with bated breath for Mitt’s returns on orders from a White House that has consistently placed tax cheats within the highest positions…including the Sec Treas! There are FIVE known tax cheats in this administration – 2 others he tried to place that recused themselves.

Bottom line is that Obama has nothing, absolutely zilch that he can hang on Romney. It’s his worst nightmare, a squeaky clean, never divorced candidate. His entire career has been born on the backs of scandals dredged by Axelrod against his opponents – every office he’s won thus far has been tainted by efforts to dig dirt, primarily relative to divorce records.

Poor guy has nothing else to cling to other than this weird, and completely baseless, attempt to drive his Obamabots into a froth over a fake tax scandal.

For all your Huffing & Puffing, Michelle, you and your posse just look ridiculous.

  24. TW Says:

Same for all those hard drives going away after he was Governor…For a guy that’s supposed to be squeaky clean, he sure spends a lot of time covering his tracks.

  25. Cathy Says:

    CS#23
He is FAR from squeaky clean. I love that you mention he’s never been divorced. Neither has Obama – are you going to stop lying about him now?

Romney’s ability to lie borders on pathological. Watch the Rachel Maddow show from last Thursday- she lays it out very well. He’s done this before. And this is a word by word repeat of his lies in 2002. I dare you to watch it and come back here and defend him. You cannot.

  26. FC Says:

Mitt is tired of the double standard Left along with their ‘publicity agent’s’ double standard reporting of the lame stream media.

They call legal activity of the Right as immoral while their illegal activity such as Fast and Furious as ‘executive privelege’. Mitt wants to deal with adults, not the kids of the Romper Room Left.

  27. FC Says:

I said, “Mom are you kidding me?” She said but darling she could have dressed more patriotically? Fox was just pointing that out.

I said Mom, You did notice that all of the young women on the american team were wearing pink also, the very same uniform that Gabby was wearing? Do you really believe that Gabby has that much power to make the whole team wear what she wants?

Then she said, there you go bringing up the race card, you should leave that up to them, God knows they play it enough on their own.

I said Mom, Fox a Co. go after a 16 year old black American girl, and you back them up, goodbye, call me later after I vomit.

Then I hung up. WOW the power of fox to influence the ignorant.
