The Madness Of Monsanto
Posted by Michelle Moquin on November 11th, 2012
Good morning!
“M” not only stands for “Monsanto” but also for “Money”, and “Monsanto” is all about “Money”. They could care less about you and me…nor anyone else on the planet except their shareholders, who are also all about the “Money”.
Yes, Social Butterfly, I am disappointed and shocked that Prop 37 didn’t pass. The majority of Californians just don’t get it, or they are________. You fill in the blank.
How one would want to be left in the dark about what is in their food, and therefore being ingested in their own bodies and the little bodies of their children, in my opinion, is just insanely stupid. But evidently too many people chose to listen to the lies of those that oppose instead of thinking of their own health.
I am so sorry that I never blogged on this before on such an important health issue. What does it take to open your eyes to the destructive disasterous future Monsanto has in store for us?
Perhaps this will help:
Monsanto’s Future for us All – A Frankenworld
Frankenbug is loose on the farm, and no one knows what will happen next.
A brand-new microscopic bug that never existed before in nature is now turning up in animal feed used to fatten up the commercial meat you eat.
This Frankenbug has been clearly linked to infertility and miscarriage in cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, and poultry.1
Prof. Don M. Huber, a respected professor at Purdue University and a member of the government’s own USDA National Plant Disease Recovery System said the pathogen has evolved because of GMO crops.
That’s bad news for us all, because crops and animals that are genetically tampered with are not regulated.
Even worse, if the food you’re eating has been tampered with genetically, no one has to tell you.
Not only that, they don’t have to release the studies on the effects of these foods, because the companies are private. Private companies don’t have to release any information to you or anyone.
The government considers these crops safe and doesn’t even think twice about them.
As if that weren’t enough, glyphosate, the weed-killer Monsanto markets as Roundup and that it has modified the crops to resist, actually promotes these kinds of pathogens, or Frankenbugs.
Do You Want a Lab-Created Bug Inside You?
These new microscopic bugs – that didn’t exist until GMO crops were created – can hurt plants, remove the plants’ nutrients, and hurt the animals that eat the crops, too.2
Professor Huber says the new pathogen
- increases in soil treated with glyphosate
- then gets taken up by plants
- gets transmitted to animals via their feed
- and goes into you when you eat the plants and meat.
Monsanto has tried hard to discredit Prof. Huber.3 But researchers have already proven that you can’t trust what they say about what their weed-killer does. Glyphosate has been found to kill human placental cells at concentrations below what’s been approved by regulators
.
Roundup is lethal at even lower concentrations.4
In a minute, I’m going to show what else Monsanto’s doing and how you can stop their Frankenfoods and Frankenbugs from hurting you.
But first, you’re probably wondering who I am.
My name is Dr. Al Sears, MD. I’ve made it my mission to expose Monsanto and all the Big Agra companies for what they are. And I’ve been speaking out and warning my hundreds of thousands of online readers for years that these giant corporations are experimenting on you without your permission…
Yet so many people are still unaware of what’s going on, because Mega-giant seed corporations like Monsanto want to prevent any bad news about their products getting out to the public.
In fact, let me tell you a little story about how bad it’s getting right from my own home…
Monsanto’s “War Zone” Right In My Yard
I got up in the morning and went outside to exercise, and it was kind of dark like it always is this time of year in South Florida…
…and there’s my neighbor with a sprayer going along my fence spraying Roundup.
I have the Jamaican herb cerasee (momordica charantia) growing in my yard because it produces a flower that my family and I put in tea for detoxification.
My neighbor didn’t like it.
So there he was spraying Monsanto’s week killer on the roots of my plants along the fence we share.
Now all of the cerasee is dead. And so is the hedge that I had growing there.
He had already killed everything on his side, then he bulldozed it, and had also sprayed it with Roundup. Now he was spraying my yard with Roundup, too…
Problem is, it’s only about 20 feet from my well where we get our drinking water.
He’s always been a pretty nice guy, so I went and talked to him. “You know, I really wish you had told me. I would have pulled the herb up if you didn’t like–”
“Oh, that’d take too long,” he cut me off. “Plus I learned that if I spray Roundup everything dies. Then grass can grow there.”
I said, “The herb I had there is actually very health enhanci–”
“Well, you told me when I moved in you were growing that stuff, and I looked it up. The University of Florida says it’s a pest. It’s a weed, and a foreign invader. And we need to get rid of it. So that’s why I sprayed it with Roundup.”
“You know,” I said, “Roundup is not too health–”
“Oh, no, there’s lots of studies. I looked it up and the University of Florida says it’s completely safe. They use it everywhere and it can’t possibly hurt you and it’s biodegradable.”
Monsanto had originally said Roundup was biodegradable. They had to remove that claim from the label because studies found there’s nothing biodegradable about it. But there are still press releases out there that claim it is.
Now the rest of my yard is green everywhere, and there’s this gray-yellow war zone along one side.
Funny thing, when you walk over there … it’s 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the yard. He bulldozed the trees so the sun hits it. And it’s hot, and now nothing can live there except fire ants.
I look at the dead area and think, “That’s Monsanto’s future for us all.”
Weed killers, Frankenbugs… those are bad enough… but I just read a study that says we now have to worry about an even greater threat…
GMO Corn Causing Cancer?
Monsanto claims their lab-created genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are safe. And the FDA claims the food that grows from them is just like the real thing, so no problem.
How could they possibly know that? Until now, no one outside of the Big Agra companies that create GMOs has really studied their effects…
They only evidence of the dangers is leaking out from Europe, Russia, and other countries around the world.
Here are just some of their findings:6,7,8,9,10,11
- Allergies increased. When GMO soy was introduced, allergies jumped by 50%. Allergen proteins were 7 times higher. Some were unique only to GMO soy.
- It wreaked havoc on digestion and the absorption of nutrients. Digestive enzymes plummeted, and GMOs caused lesions in the digestive tract.
- Proteins that control stress response and energy creation in cells changed. This resulted in faster aging of cells.
- It caused reproductive problems. Sperm cells had trouble developing, and embryos showed altered genes. Offspring were smaller, and many more died.
Here, you can’t study the seeds… Monsanto requires anyone who buys genetically modified seeds to sign what they call a “technology stewardship agreement.”
What does that mean? It prohibits the buyer from doing any research on them.5
But even though you can’t research the seeds, scientists now have access to the “Franken-foods” that grow from the seeds.
And what they’re finding is that they are far from safe…
I just read the new issue of the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology. It has a study that looked at the toxic effects of Monsanto’s genetically-modified corn on rats. Rats are often studied to find out if something is going to be toxic in humans.
For the study, some groups of rats got Monsanto’s genetically modified roundup-resistant corn. Some got a regular diet but were given water with Roundup in it… only a tiny amount that you’ve been told is safe to drink.
Those animals that ate the GMO corn got tumors and died. And the ones that drank the water with roundup in it got tumors and died. The ones that got both developed even more tumors and died.
Up to 70 percent of those that got the contaminated water and the genetically modified corn died significantly earlier than the other animals.6 And they developed 2 to 3 times more large cancers than the animals that got no GMO corn or polluted water.
The tumors are so disgusting and huge that I don’t even want to publish the pictures… but I feel you need to see them:
What’s worse is that because the FDA has decided this lab-created corn – along with GMO soy and other crops – is the same as real food, U.S. Food manufacturers don’t have to tell you when products have GMOs.
The symbol to look for on packaging that will tell you if something is GMO-free is this label:Fortunately, there are some companies that have volunteered to put it on the label when there are no GMOs in the food you’re buying.
But one of the most-asked questions I get through e-mail and even to my Facebook page is “What can I do to keep this stuff out of my kitchen?” I’ll tell you what I tell them:
- First, I recommend you avoid all non-organic corn, soy, and canola products. 75 percent of canola and 73 percent of corn crops grown in the U.S. are GMO, according to the USDA. It’s gotten so bad that even bees can’t find nectar to make honey without getting it from GMO canola.
- Next, eliminate commercial beef and poultry from your diet. They are raised on the GMO corn, soy, and grains you’re trying to avoid.
- Then, I recommend you read my exclusive report, How the Feds Set Frankenstein Free on the Farm: Terrorizing Farmers, Making Us Sick.
In it this special report, I show you how and why this horror show is unfolding … and what you can do about it … so you can avoid the crippling side effects and take back your health from the giant corporations that are experimenting on you without your permission.
I’ll also tell you all about Monsanto, the company that controls nearly every food seed on earth, and:
- the strong-arming Monsanto does to force farmers to either use their seeds, or go out of business.
- how Monsanto tried to take advantage of starving Haitians after their devastating earthquake.
- how Monsanto destroyed local businesses in Iraq with the stroke of a pen.
- what they’re doing to make sure you never have stevia, a calorie-free sugar substitute, in its natural form any food or drink. Ever.
- how Monsanto poisoned an entire town in Alabama for years, and hid the fact they were doing it.
- how they’re trying to make sure you never drink milk, eat a chicken, or enjoy a Christmas ham that they don’t own.
- the tactics Monsanto uses to frighten, threaten, and bring million-dollar lawsuits against hard-working American farmers all through rural America and the Farm Belt.
I also uncover the compelling studies showing soy is no “miracle food,” and give you eight simple steps to avoid the hidden soy in your diet and how to get these Franken-foods off your dinner table.
To good health

In the West there are two types of GM cotton. Bt cotton was engineered with a gene from a soil bacterium, Bacillus thuringiensis. Organic farmers use the natural form of the bacterium as an insecticide, spraying it occasionally during times of high pest infestation.
Monsanto engineers, however, isolated and then altered the gene that produces the Bt-toxin, and inserted it into the DNA of the cotton plant. Now every cell of their Bt cotton produces a toxic protein. The other variety was Roundup Ready® cotton.
It contains another bacterial gene that enables the plant to survive an otherwise toxic dose of Monsanto’s Roundup® herbicide.
Since the patent on Roundup’s main active ingredient, glyphosate, was due to expire in 2000, the company was planning to sell Roundup Ready seeds that were bundled with their Roundup herbicide, effectively extending their brand’s dominance in the herbicide market.

Why don’t you test this shit on humans? How does shit affect people? At least in the 1940′s we had some legitimate testing made on humans, researches that bare highest knowledge up until this day on some things, like hypothermia or burning and scalding.
Bring back the human testing! They (mainly german and japanese) progressed our visions in medicine by decades, only during a small period of time. Leave the animals the fock alone!
Ok lets test this shIt on you!

Mad cow disease (bovine spongiform encephalopathy) and its human counterpart, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). These fatal diseases had been tracked to a class of proteins called prions. Short for “proteinaceous infectious particles,” prions are improperly folded proteins, which cause other healthy proteins to also become misfolded.
Over time, they cause holes in the brain, severe dysfunction and death. Prions survive cooking and are believed to be transmittable to humans who eat meat from infected “mad” cows.
The disease may incubate undetected for about 2 to 8 years in cows and up to 30 years in humans.

The official report of the Govt. of the State of Andhra Pradesh, India, on the performance of genetically modified Bt cotton in the season 2002, “shows that in North Telengana, net income from Bt varieties was five times less than the yield from local non-Bt varieties.
In Southern Telengana, the income from Monsanto’s Bt crop was nearly 7 times less than what was obtained from the indigenous non-Bt cotton varieties, demonstrating the resounding failure of the Monsanto variety.”

1- California voted against Proposition 37. The proposition would have mandated putting labels on foods that have been genetically modified. Not banning Genetically modified foods, but letting consumers know…and Monsanto lobbied against the right of consumers with misleading ads. They worked.
2- Studies on Genetically modified food in US have been done by Monsanto or persons hired by them. The fox guarding the chicken coop.
3- Look at what tobacco did to cover up damage from smoking but at least people had the choice to smoke or not. We are not being given that choice.

Monsanto Belongs in Jail for Crimes against Humanity.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:22 am
Yes, in California Proposition 37, demanding GMO foods be labeled, was defeated by big money. Again something to thank the BAPF STARK.
Scientists in Europe and the USA have proved GMO Foods are hazardous to the health of Animals, Humans and Insects.
A number of scientists suggested GMO grains fed to animals are responsible for sterility in animals, the chemicals and pollen on GMO Corn is responsible for the destruction of honeybee populations, in addition, scientists have found an increase of human allergies and intestinal problems associated with the consumption of GMO Foods.
Europe has banned many GMO Crops, due to the dangers associated with cross-pollination and destruction of Organic Crops. The fact that animals have become sterile after consuming GMO Foods and Grains should be recognized as a serious threat to human life.

Michelle, have you considered that your article may be incorrect? Monsanto is not trying to poison the world. They need people to buy their products.
The bias of the researchers may be important in evaluating conclusions, it doesn’t allow you to automatically dismiss any and all data. Just because the study above was not done by Monsanto or researchers associated with it doesn’t imply that the findings are accurate.
3 – In general, the scientific research and scientific consensus around the link between lung cancer and smoking was fairly clear for decades. The cigarette manufacturers worked with the medical establishment to downplay the scientific results, but the results were all very clear, as was the consensus of the scientific community. The results for GMOs are nowhere near what was observed for the link between smoking and cancer.
You want to demonstrate that GMOs are harmful, then I would suggest talking with scientists who support your position and making sure that they perform GOOD studies to support your beliefs with GOOD evidence.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:26 am
Lisa, aren’t you anti-corporation folks always complaining about corporate personhood? Doesn’t this statement of yours contradict that?
Crimes against humanity? That’s your side of the game, Lisa.

DJ, and Owen you argue for an intelligent look at both sides of the issue.” If after so many years of studies and test etc you still think there’re 2 sides to the issue, and call yourself intelligent.
I suggest you eat what they’re selling, and help remove Yourself from the gene pool faster.

How can not wanting your gut to rot, or your immune system to fail be an “ideal”, (as in oh wouldn’t be great to think so but not possible).
The ones who have to justify a position on this are the companies pushing this crap. They’re the ones who have unrealistic “ideal”!
November 12th, 2012 at 4:31 am
There was a hungarian university scientist (arpad pusztai) somewhere in scotland who was given the task to investigate possible health risks with gmo food.
His experiments with rats and gm potatoes proved that these negatively affect the rats’ immune system and destroy their stomach. This kind of work should have been done long before gmos have been introduced to consumers, but weren’t because negative findings are anything but profitable to the gmo producers and sellers.
Now, this guy was fired after he felt that the findings should be processed and published and the whole thing should be investigated further. As fas as I know, no other investigation of this kind ever took place (if you consider reports of companies like Monsanto stating gmo is harmless to be subjective and true, u must be out of your mind).
GMO is like a drug that has never been tested for side effects but companies that profit from it are ready to announce it to be the wonder-drug of the century that can change the world.
First of all, we live in a capitalistic world – the center of all happening is profit and not some humanitarian desire to save the world.
GMO is not the answer to any of mankind’s problems, it is another problem we’re creating for ourselves. Just listen to your instinct: do u honestly feel like wiping out biodiversity of crops and plants in favour of a (patented!) gm crop is of no harm to us?
What does your gut-feeling say to this? I haven’t actually seen this documentary so I wouldn’t know if it shows the process of creating these foods, but if it doesn’t, I recommend u look it up somewhere and see what your instinct says to that..
November 12th, 2012 at 4:33 am
an answer? there isnt any. action? start to grow your own if u r in a place u can ie:nz where i am. and try to make sure even if it means netting your own little crop wich is pretty drastic i recon… learn how to keep your seeds and make your own bread, cheese m so on.
at the same time we still need to work and earn enough to pay the bills but with a lot of energy and no unessential spending we can do it. a few will. i hope…. we’ll see.
i am not part of the extreme big brother like fighters but will try what i can not only for myself but because i can and i owe it to the people who don’t have the choice! what makes me cry is not that this world might come to an end but it is the slow (relative speed tho) at which the beauty of nature and biodiversity is beeing swept out of this world.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:34 am
Michelle, this is all old news, humans need to learn to rise up and tear down some stuff. Just talking about it doesnt change a thing. We are like zebras on savannas that are constantly saying “bad lions”.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:34 am
I’m not seeing the “answer” here. Where do you think the money is coming from? Consumers want/need what bio-engineering is offering, and unless you can offer an alternative, or prove that deprivation of these goods is the lesser evil (i.e. that there is direct harm to our health resulting from GMOs), your answer is just an ideal.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:35 am
This is not a documentary you bunch of r****ds its a WAKE UP CALL!!!
Its a wake up call that DON’T F–K WITH NATURE OR IT WILL F–K YOU!!!
You think you are smarter than Nature?
Just a friendly reminder! Nature created you, you didn’t exist until 200’000 years ago or what ever that EXACT number is on which you retards will start to quarrel because thats all you like to do – LOOK THE SMARTEST!
YOU R*****S CAN NEVER BE SMARTER THAN NATURE, SO MAKE SURE YOU EAT HER FRUITS AND VEGETABLES THE WAY SHE HAS DESIGNED IN HER INGENIOUSNESS. And oh yeah! one thing that might help the poor if you retards didn’t think about: STOP HOARDING & WASTING!!! maybe then there will be some left over for others in line??
November 12th, 2012 at 4:37 am
Genetically modified foods are not really intended for the third world. They just say that to obtain land to grow food cheap that is sent to first world countries. The local population could survive well enough from the local foods if allowed.
Plants are genetically modified so they can grow in climates they would not otherwise survive and in quantities that make the most profit. BTW, humans, and nature have been modifying plants for a very long time.
The difference is who makes the decisions, and how, to change…man or nature. The real problem is mono-culture farming. Putting all your eggs in one basket doesn’t matter to the chicken, doesn’t help the farmer, but it helps the basket maker.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:39 am
It’s so easy to come online and talk rubbish about ending GE and telling people to have less children when one is surrounded with food all day and are financially and educationally rich enough to go through planned parenthood and buy birth control. Not everyone, especially those from third world nations could afford those things.
The problem isn’t population or GE but the greedy retards of corporations who are creating, distributing and selling the seeds of GE foods. When Dr. Norman Borlaug planned to create crops that yield more foods, he wasn’t thinking about profits, he was thinking to end world hunger which apparently most of the commenters of this documentary are ungrateful bunch of children. So easy to comment a complain and protest against the idea of producing more foods when your not hungry. >_>
Stop watching and reading media brainwashing materials and get out of the house once in awhile. Go on a road trip. Road trips will show you that the world is large enough to support everyone and provide a comfortable life.
Some would argue that because human beings never had created lifeforms in labs and released into the wild, that it would cause harm the environment….but where is the proof of that? Most GE crops can’t mix with organics. By the way, human beings have always altered and manipulated nature to suit them… this is why we’re all sitting quietly in our homes right now and on our computers being alive today. We’re top animal because we’ve altered and manipulated our environment and those that are in and around it.
I’m sorry but each and everyone of us are here today alive do to altering and manipulating nature and creating medicines and foods from the lab. To deny that to others who are dying and suffering today…who can benefit from these alterations and manipulations is being a selfish, self important, self centered hypocrite!
That’s why I hate the industrial nations so much these days… many of the people within these societies especially from the middle and upper classes act like a bunch of rich, spoiled, pompous, condescending, over-privileged bunch of sh!the@ded children who are so disconnected with the real world.
If I won the Lottery I soooo want to pay a UFC heavyweight striker to go on a trip with me to approach each and every one of these f^cktards and have that fighter punch the retards in their faces. Just knock at their doors and when they open… BOOM!Knock their stupidity right out of them.
Seriously, these environmentalist, over-privileged, middle class white sh!ts (most Green Peace members are whites; while the people who could benefit from more foods aren’t white) have no clue what is truly going on in the world. It’s so easy to say GE is bad when you have a choice and could afford to eat only organic foods.
I mean seriously you people ought to do humanity a favor and go kill yourselves. That ought to solve the over population problem you b!tches complain about. *shakes head at the stupidity at the over privileged and over educated*
Again it’s so easy for you people to complain when you’re not the ones starving to death.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:39 am
I am the real Kamala.
Michelle, this is one of the few issues that has one right answer….no bio-engineering! Where is the common sense of these intelligent scientists? Does greed supersede intelligence?
November 12th, 2012 at 4:41 am
Paraphrasing:
“there are no un-contaminated canola seeds in Canada now”
That’s truly horrifying.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:41 am
GMO foods can be scarey. However, farmers & producers are demanded to raise higher yields on fewer acres. Dovelopment encrochment & other events push more land out of producing food. No we can and should not turn every inch of soil into growing food, just as we sould not make all our fields into what used to be.
With all things there needs to be balance, we need to keep our production ground producing and leave our natural habitats big and small natural. The greatest inbalance is HUMANS.
This is the cause for GMOs to make more with less to feed the OVER population of humans. Ending GMOs would be a grand idea, it would have to include accepting human starvation and the end to the quest to “Feeding the World”. Though GMO foods will most likely not be abolished, all consumers must be allowed to know what and where thier food is and comes from.
Human over population and what we are doing to the earth, genetically modification, FRACKING, deep oil drilling & spilling, paving & building over it, to support this population is terrifying.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:48 am
‘This is the cause for GMOs to make more with less to feed the OVER population of humans. Ending GMOs would be a grand idea, it would have to include accepting human starvation and the end to the quest to “Feeding the World”.’
With all do respect, I disagree Donna. The development and control of GM seeds by a few multinational corporations and their ‘terrific terminator seeds’ are more likely to blame for the 1 billion people starving and 2 billion who live on less than $2 a day.
… the cruel joke is the ones who starve are the rural farmers in the developing world who can’t even buy what they grow.
November 12th, 2012 at 4:49 am
Michelle, I suppose the greatest argument I have with this documentary is that it doesn’t go far enough in demanding Monsanto stop their sick shit for the safety of our planet.
The excuse that we need to do this to feed an ever growing population is hogwash. We need to stop having so many children and more of us need to work growing food once again. This will solve most of those issues regarding overpopulation.

I know this is veterans, but what is utterly surprising to me is that reaction by some on the right to the actions of General Petraeus.
There contention that this is perfectly understandable and not a big deal if security was not compromised and it is a private family matter. Yet they had no problem trying to impeach a president. Hypocrites.

Can I be the first to take Zen Lill’s point of view on this Betraus topic.
You know, I have every respect for Holly, but when you dress like an old woman and look as drab as she has (weight is beside the point because big women can look good, too) what do you expect?
Okay, I will get stomped for this opinion, but when a man like the General STAYS in shape and you don’t and is NO LONGER attracted to his wife – there is a problem – and it is NOT just his testosterone.
WHO wants to be married to their GRANDMOTHERS? Take a good look in the mirror and think, did I NOT care about how I looked anymore? When he married Holly, she was BEAUTIFUL – and it is not age or children that changed her – REALLY – it is NOT.
As a woman of 50 years with friends pushing 75 – who are STILL attractive, sexy, and beautiful – I say that she has to take some responsibility. She could have been running with him, SHE could have been writing his biography -Holly is SMART and was his best friend.
If anyone knew him, it was her. Sure, this isn’t just about looks or going downhill, it is also about interest! Men do the same thing and find their spouses knocking boots with their best friends. – Routine ain’t GOOD for fidelity. Spice it up Ladies and men and take interest in your partners. Now about his testosterone problem…

DJ #10,
Monsanto is actually working with a few other biotech firms on cloning humans so that they will create a more efficient “human” that can withstand the challenges of their poisons with which to be around to pay for them…so, the humans that currently exist, they don’t give a shit about…

GOOD AFTERNOON TO EVERYONE!
Congress will have the spotlight on itself this week as it returns for it’s lame duck session. There will be several new senators stopping by to greet leadership and fellow party members before they officially join in January. Both the House and Senate will have their leadership and committee elections, too, along with a hearing in the House over Benghazi. Stay tuned to Human Events this week as this all gets hashed out.
Talk to you all tomorrow,
