Saturday Mail Delivery Is History
Posted by Michelle Moquin on February 7th, 2013
Good morning!
Thanks Howie. Done.
You brought up the issue with the postal service awhile ago. I love my post office and the people that work there. I still enjoy sending (and receiving!) personal cards in the mail. I still look forward to getting my mail. Call me old fashioned…call me romantic, but I still love and appreciate the written letter.
I enjoy taking my letter opener, sliding it in the corner and gently cutting the paper revealing the contents. (Okay sometimes maybe not so gently:) I even enjoy opening my bills and writing the checks. I know, most of you are probably paying on line, with no check book in site. Not me. But hey, to each her own.
I am tactile and visual, so I still appreciate interesting paper, beautiful cards, and fun stamps – the entire handwriting experience, whether it be signing a check or writing a “Thank you” card, is something I still enjoy doing.
So when I think what is happening to our postal service, it saddens me. When I think of what the republicans are doing it maddens me.

And from Think Progress:
Thanks To Congressional Incompetence, Saturday Mail Delivery Is History
The U.S. Postal Service announced on Wednesday that it will discontinue first class Saturday mail delivery, marking another milestone in the decline of the once-ubiquitous government service. But it isn’t a switch to online mail that’s causing the postal demise — it’sCongress.
Under the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act, Congress has for years forced the USPS to pre-fund 75 years’ worth of pensions for its employees, a requirement not made of any other public or private institution. That means that the Postal Service is footing the bill for employees it hasn’t even hired yet.
The USPS doesn’t actually receive money from the government, but still needs Congressional approval to make any changes to its structure. An analysis in July showed that the USPS, without its pension requirement, would have a $1.5 billion surplus.
But Congress has repeatedly failed to address the issue. Last year, the Postal Service defaulted on a pension fund payment for the first — and then second — time in its history, and political infighting stopped Congress from bringing any remedy to the floor.
Postal access is, ultimately, a rights issue for rural Americans; since they live in areas where internet coverage is inconsistent, post office closures and slowed-down delivery can mean big limitations on communication. A lack of access to postal services can lead to a growth in economic inequality. The new rules for Saturday delivery, set to take effect on August 1, 2013, will continue delivery of packages, but discontinue basic first-class mail.

Al, I am not a racist. You americans always think you know best. I would like there to be a poll out about Bush stealing the election. Australians know he stole the election and im sure it apparent to most in Europe too.
So clean you own house before you mess in ours. And we treat our niggers way better than america does.
February 7th, 2013 at 10:31 am
This is not Congressional incompetence. It’s a purposeful effort to kill the post office – to privatize it so their buddies can make lots of money off of you and me. Everyone’s going to REALLY love it when it costs $5 to mail a letter.
February 7th, 2013 at 10:32 am
Irene, thank you, I think my blogging bro Howie and I are perfectly happy commenting here for now, you never know though, the Howie & Zen Lill show could be a spin off someday ; ) lol…
Gretchen, ‘we treat our niggers better than America does’ is not a racist statement? You don’t have to be from the US or OZ to identify that it is, it’s a blatant racist statement regardless of who’s ‘house’ needs ‘cleaning.’
We are hunkered down here in the South Bay LA, helicopters are everywhere, an ex-cop is on a shooting spree…on that note, I’m outta here : ) nobody makes me stay inside.

The Secrets to Getting the Best Hospital Care
Want to make sure that you get the best care possible during your hospital stay? Get on your nurse’s good side.
A recent study from researchers at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia found that if a nurse perceives his or her hospital’s care to be “excellent,” that is usually correct—a nurse’s perception usually matches the hospital’s data on patient outcomes and other measures of quality of care.
And if a nurse can easily recognize what good care looks like, chances are she knows how patients can get it, too!
So I had a chat with Iris Atkins, RN, a nurse with 50 years of experience who works in the radiation oncology department at a large medical center in Chula Vista, California.
When it comes to interacting with a nurse at a hospital, she gave me a few key tips that patients should remember. They’ll help keep your nurse happy, which is bound to help keep you happy and healthy in return!
HOW TO GET ON YOUR NURSE’S GOOD SIDE
First of all, it’s worth noting that Atkins herself didn’t make any crazy confessions during our conversation.
For example, she said that she has never treated any patients rudely or poorly—even ones who were difficult.
But based on my experience as a patient and those of my friends, I don’t believe that all nurses are quite as consistent.
Nurses are professionals, sure, but they’re also human beings. And when you treat them with respect and ask the right kinds of questions, I personally think that you’re likely to get a greater amount of attention, friendliness and helpfulness in return.
Here’s what Atkins advised…
Ask about your nurse’s personal life. This might sound intrusive, but showing that you care about your nurse as a person (not as a servant) can make him or her feel more valued.
Plus, you may find that you have something in common—whether it’s an overprotective older brother, growing up in a small town, a passion for running or a love for cheesecake—and that will create a bond between you.
Make her smile.
Joke about yourself…tell your nurse your favorite one-liner…or even ask a family member or friend to bake a batch of brownies for her.
And don’t worry about being seen as a kiss-up. Nurses have intense, stressful jobs, so anything that you can do to put her in a good mood might encourage her to come visit your room more often.
Be polite.
You’d be surprised to learn how often patients ignore their nurses when nurses enter the room…and then speak in a condescending tone or bark out orders when they do say something.
Granted, there’s a good chance you aren’t feeling well when you are in the hospital—but you can say “hello,” “good-bye,” “please” and “thank you,” right?
Speak up—but not too often.
You’re familiar with the phrase “the squeaky wheel gets the grease.” That definitely applies in a hospital! If there’s something that you need, don’t expect your nurse to read your mind—ask her about it.
Of course, you don’t want to buzz her into your room again and again for nonemergency requests, so consolidate these requests—whether for a room-temperature change, a pillow adjustment, a drink or even something larger like a room change—and then tell her that you’ve saved up requests to save her some trips.
Keep these tips in mind the next time you’re in a hospital. Your nurse can be your greatest advocate—and you can help make her exactly that.
Source: Iris Atkins, RN, works in the radiation oncology department at a large medical center in Chula Vista, California.
She has 50 years of experience and has been a nurse supervisor and worked in the hospital’s intensive care direct observation unit and cardiology department.

Terri, EXACTLY RIGHT. It is congressional competence (they are serving their corporate masters, as usual and effing the taxpayers yet again).
Pay attention people, you soon will only have fedex and other private and other for profit carriers and they will charge you whatever they feel like charging because you will have no other choice.
February 7th, 2013 at 10:45 am
Yeah Terri, I think we can say goodbye to voting by mail if they have their way, too.
February 7th, 2013 at 10:46 am
Just a history question… would it not require a change in the constitution to privatize the post office? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postal_Clause
February 7th, 2013 at 10:47 am
Read the article, people: the USPS would be sitting on a surplus were it not for requirements put on them by a congress bent on forcing the postal system into bankruptcy so it can be privatized:
the USPS is being forced to fund its pension program for people who haven’t even been born yet, something we expect of NO other entity!
February 7th, 2013 at 11:15 am
Christopher Dorner was a cop who testified against a caucasian cop for kicking a mentally ill man in the face and was fired for it.
The guy says he is shooting the cops because his career was ruined by the LAPD. He testified against the cop, the LAPD used the full force of the law to destroy Dorner.
The interesting thing is that the media is not concerned with the Dorner’s request for an apology from the LAPD, they are only concerned with scaring the public about the dangerous black man.
If his was a crazy white boy with issues, we would be hearing about his issues. But not now because it is a black man.
My advice don’t help the cops. We need to hear more about this cover up by the LAPD.
Carlos
February 7th, 2013 at 11:20 am
James, No no no. The postal service is only forced to fund pensions on an accrual basis. It does not fund pensions for people who have not been born yet.
For example, if I work this year, I earn a retirement benefit. An actuary then figures out the net present value of that benefit over the next 75 years. My employer then funds this benefit.
Do you really believe that the USPS is funding benefits for people who are not even born yet? If you do, then you don’t understand the accrual method of accounting.
February 7th, 2013 at 11:21 am
Unfortunately, many police officers are terrible people. Naturally, the job attracts power-fetishits and sadists, looking for opportunities to dominate and physically abuse people legally.
Sometimes, this mindset overtakes whole departments, such at the LAPD in the ’60s (see what they did to Jimmie Rodgers when they got the chance) and Houston in the ’70s.
February 7th, 2013 at 11:22 am
The guy is so big, it’s “Like looking for a haystack in a needle.”
February 7th, 2013 at 11:26 am
Christopher Dorner left a manifesto addressed to “America” that he wanted everyone to read but was taken down by LAPD. It seems as though there is much more to this than we think. This is truly chilling stuff.

February 7th, 2013 at 11:30 am
Could you imagine having to pay five years of insurance on your new car purchase? Or you must pay a predetermined deductable base on your family medical usage, this is yet another republican move to undermine the postal workers union, nothing less.
Why are they allowed to get away with these lies? Everyone is lead to believe the USPS is unsustainable. That’s like tying someone up, throwing them in the deep end and watching them drown and then telling everyone they died because they could not swim.
February 7th, 2013 at 11:31 am
Gretchen:
Everybody in America knows that Bush stole a presidential election as well. This is no secret. This old news is not something privy only to other nations.
Theses are your words…. “my black friend asked?
I was so angry I could have snatched every one of nappy strands of hair out. It’s not racial. Sure they are white men doing it, but they are in a mostly white sport so they are doing it to compete against each other not some nigger.”
Maybe you are not racist, but I fail to see how a paragraph containing both: “I was so angry I could have snatched every one of nappy strands of hair out.” “ It’s not racial.” and “so they are doing it to compete against each other not some nigger.” can be interpeted as anything but a racial statement. That is a total contradiction. And you said this about a friend no-less.
Sorry if I got you upset, I probably misinterpreted, and misunderstood the whole thing. Or maybe it’s the vernacular, or a matter of political correctness.
Al

“Postal access is, ultimately, a rights issue for rural Americans; since they live in areas where internet coverage is inconsistent ” And these are the same people that are voting for right wing anti-everything that benefits all americans, tea bagging conservatives to congress that are pushing for the collapse of the postal service.
Ultimately these idiots are going to be the ones that are hurt the worst by the demise of the postal service, once they realize that the wonderful world of private companies such as fedex and UPS will not deliver to them since it doesn’t make fiscal sense to drive 50 miles round trip for one package. That or their delivery fees will sky rocket. Either way, they’ll find a way to blame Obama.
February 7th, 2013 at 12:10 pm
Gretchen, I agree with Al, you are a racist bitch.
February 7th, 2013 at 12:12 pm
This is just a way to get rid of the one game in town that is efficient and able to deliver packages and mail for a decent rate and get Fedex and UPS who give Congress money the game exclusively.
I say you look at what is really going on just like what really went on when the “Hostess” Company closed and who really was guilty there of putting that company out of business, follow the money and the greed.

I agree with you Carlos. I hope no one aids those thugs with badges. Here is a part of ex-Officer Dorner’s manifesto.
=======================
I know most of you who personally know me are in disbelief to hear from media reports that I am suspected of committing such horrendous murders and have taken drastic and shocking actions in the last couple of days. You are saying to yourself that this is completely out of character of the man you knew who always wore a smile wherever he was seen. I know I will be villified by the LAPD and the media. Unfortunately, this is a necessary evil that I do not enjoy but must partake and complete for substantial change to occur within the LAPD and reclaim my name. The department has not changed since the Rampart and Rodney King days. It has gotten worse. The consent decree should never have been lifted. The only thing that has evolved from the consent decree is those officers involved in the Rampart scandal and Rodney King incidents have since promoted to supervisor, commanders, and command staff, and executive positions.
The question is, what would you do to clear your name?
=========================
The LAPD is out to vilify this Dorner.
February 7th, 2013 at 12:19 pm
This is so sad. Yes, Sad. What is just going wrong with so many of our young people. Yes, 33 is young. This man has a honorable discharge.
He also has access to many a real tactical weapon and from his training in the police department and in the US Navy knows how to use them. This is a smart man.
I just do not understand what and why we are having all of this happening to people up to the point that they act have never given a ounce of trouble.
We better all work together to get to the base of these problems are we will never move this Great Nation “Forward”.
February 7th, 2013 at 12:19 pm
Each and every one of the individuals who played any part whatsoever in the destruction of Chris Dorner’s life are the ones who should be held liable for this terrible tragedy. They all deserve rapid trials and immediate execution.
February 7th, 2013 at 12:20 pm
If I see him, I’m not going to call it in.
February 7th, 2013 at 12:21 pm
Okay, so he shot 3 cops and one died…the news coverage on this is ridiculous. People are shot and die everyday, why just because these were cops is it all over the news.
February 7th, 2013 at 12:28 pm
Yes, the media is biased towards the officer. if you live in Southern California and own any kind of vehicle that resembles Christopher Dorner’s truck, I suggest you stay indoors.
Otherwise, cops will just unload a hail of bullets on you like they did today in Torrance. Two vehicles were shot up. One of the trucks was occupied by two women delivering newspapers. One of which, was shot in the back.
===================
From KTLA5:
Los Angeles and Torrance Police were involved in two shootings in Torrance early Thursday morning after police came across vehicles similar to one sought by authorities in a manhunt for ex-LAPD officer suspected of shooting three other officers.
Neither incident involved the suspect, Christopher Jordan Dorner who was at large Thursday morning.
The first incident occurred about 5:30 a.m. in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue and involved two women delivering newspapers in a blue pickup.
The women were shot by LAPD one in the hand, the other in the back.
Both were taken to local hospitals and are in critical condition.
The pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to newspapers were in the street.
======================
So it is okay for the cops to unload on citizens, but not for Dorner to take a few shots at them. It seems the citizenry is in more danger from trigger happy cops than Mr. Dorner.
If I see him, I’m not calling it in.
David
February 7th, 2013 at 12:33 pm
The danger to the public is the scared shitless cops who are shooting at will anyone they suspect of being Dorner.
February 7th, 2013 at 1:12 pm
Sam, thanks for posting that manifesto, although it’s hard for me to condone violence on the families of his ‘fellow’ cops, I totally understand this dude, and I just texted my 2 cop friends, both are black, hope they are ok out there and they’ve put their families in hiding.
I’m 2 blocks away from that last road block at Redondo/Torrance border, it’s next to my local grocery store, and if he runs through this neighborhood, I’ll be harboring a fugitive. This story blows the doors wide open on every PD in this country, it’s actually not shocking this dude is willing to die for this, clearing his name, though it is so much more than that.
Carlos, thanks for your posting, good back story reading there.
- ZL
February 7th, 2013 at 1:13 pm
Barbara, too right, I just texted my 2 black cop pals and haven’t heard back yet, hopefully they’re grabbing their families and getting into hiding.
February 7th, 2013 at 2:23 pm
I can’t say that I like his politics, but politics be damned. Bad things are happening and it looks like the PsTB are starting to get some payback. He appears to have been an honest man with ideals. The most dangerous human being in the world is one whose ideals have been crushed.
All I can say is, you MFs crushed an honest man for your own benefit and now you’re paying. Se la vie.
February 7th, 2013 at 2:25 pm
The lies just keep coming on CNN “he has declared war on the police.” All lies his manefesto says he is against some LAPD police officers.
Guys….. the media is posting parts of Dorner’s manifesto, and NOT the parts about assault weapons bans and crap…. beware!
February 7th, 2013 at 2:27 pm
This is another police set up. Michelle post the uncensored manifesto if you can get it.
February 7th, 2013 at 2:28 pm
This man just wants to clear his name and here go the LAPD!!!
February 7th, 2013 at 2:31 pm
Obviously a very intelligent & thoughtful individual; everyone has their breaking point. So sad his is leading to further ‘gun violence’.
I can’t begin to understand what it would be like to ‘walk in his shoes’. Feel terrible it’s escalated to this. RIP dear soul.
February 7th, 2013 at 2:54 pm
Do yourself a favor and read his Manifesto! At least you get to read more evidence than the usual streamlined reports MSM give the public…and Take Note – the POLICE and MSM cover their OWN arses…and do not serve nor protect the public.
Basically, this ‘disgruntled’ police/reservist is cleaning house of the rats he has experience with as a LAPD officer.
And YES THE POLICE are killing INNOCENT people in their man hunt to cover their dirty little secrets!
This is NOT a one Man example…this is ‘One Man who is Sick and Tired of the corruption, the dishonor and the nepotism that occurs everyday in the halls of our representatives and law enforcement.
Like he says in his writings, it is about clearing his name, even to the point of his own death to get the public and media to do a real investigation….
At least ONE Police Officer has some honor to take action against injustice…what are you willing to do to eliminate the corruption in your life, work and community???
February 7th, 2013 at 2:57 pm
You nutcases give the rest of us real pro-Constitution people a bad name. You complain about the Police firing upon innocent bystanders but you make excuses for this piece-of-whale turd for doing the same. They’re all scum, in my book.
This guy is nuttier that squirrel turd and is nothing more than a thug with a “manifesto”. That does not mean you go after the innocent members of your enemy’s family. He is no better than the Mexican Drug Cartels who executes innocent bystanders and display their bodies just because they can.
With any luck he will do everyone a favor and eat his own gun. Which I bet he will do once he is confronted by superior forces (like any other chickenshit scum).
February 7th, 2013 at 3:00 pm
I think many in Congress would like the Postal Service end and have private companies assume all of its responsibilites.
February 7th, 2013 at 3:01 pm
You nutcases give the rest of us real pro-Constitution people a bad name.
Well, “former deputy”, this “nutcase” is a former combat veteran 4 tours, I have NO criminal record, not one arrest, I do not do drugs, nor amI a thug. I have been f#cked with by law enforcement in North Carolina upon my return to the states unjustifiably several times. I dress and act respectfully, I own my business and I pay taxes. I am a productive member of society.
The last incident involved an officer running drug dogs through my car in the middle of a busy intersection with NO PROBABLE CAUSE. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and when he arrived on scene, the supervisor even pulled the officer to side and chewed his a$$, then apologized to me and let me go. It feels like you are being raped. You guys cannot just go around and f#ck with people because you have weapons. Guess what? They didn’t break the mold when they made yours.
>You complain about the Police firing upon innocent bystanders but you make excuses for this piece-of-whale turd for doing the same.
That is because they should know better. My brother is a cop, my dad is a retired one. I know about the b#llshit you guys do. They tell me how f#cked up many of you are, and they have worn the badge. You can’t deny this. And calling this guy a “whale turd” because he is righting wrongs done against him makes you really no better IMO.
>They’re all scum, in my book.
As are you, “Former Deputy”.
>This guy is nuttier that squirrel turd and is nothing more than a thug with a “manifesto”.
Not really. At least he can make valid, concise points without falling back into pejoratives and name calling like a 6 year old, “former deputy”. Can you do the same?
>That does not mean you go after the innocent members of your enemy’s family.
“The sins of the fathers shall be visited upon the sons.” Read that. Let it sink in, no, really…
> He is no better than the Mexican Drug Cartels who executes innocent bystanders and display their bodies just because they can.
Well, that is just YOUR opinion, man.
>With any luck he will do everyone a favor and eat his own gun.
Oh look, another baseless character attack with no substance. If everything boiled down to “luck” in this beautiful world, alot of f#cked up cops out there would suck start their own pistols as well. It goes both ways.
>Which I bet he will do once he is confronted by superior forces (like any other chickenshit scum).
Now, here’s how I KNOW you are a clown. What don’t you understand about asymmetrical warfare? Did you not see where he mentioned this? Do yourself a favor, and learn what this means. I was fortunate enough to have experienced this in Iraq and Afghanistan. As well as many others, who have come home to be f#cked with. You guys can’t keep doing this. Just as the Vietnam veterans changed the face of LE with tactics brought home from Vietnam in terms of tactics, so shall the Vets coming back from Iraq and Afghan. It’s not a matter of why, but a matter of when. Not to sound cliché, but the natives are getting restless indeed. People are tired of being fu#ked with. I hope this guy sets off a chain reaction of things. You guys have been living in your comfort zones of bulls#hit and hypocrisy for faaarrrr too long now. And no, we’re not some “crazed, violent vet” we just want to be able to go home after work and not be handcuffed until our hands turn purple while you have our clothes and other personal artifacts thrown in the street because some clowns can hide behind their badge and gun, and not think anyone can do anything about it.
I can take able 12 men and within a week of training, they would be pulling L-shapes on you weak ass pig motherf#ckers from shopping center parking lots, with 2 DM’s rocking your backup. All you have is air superiority, which can be handled when the situation arrives. I am an effective force multiplier in terms of my teaching abilities. I am proven. You are not. And believe me, there are pleeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnntttyyyy of others out here who feel the same way as, I, lol….
And by no means am I threatening anyone. I love you all, and I love this country. I and many others are just sick of Law Enforcement and senior officials being allowed to blatantly run so rampant on the rights of those who have spilled blood for them. And when we want accountability for being wronged, you laugh, or say the cliché “well someone had it worse than you before, suck it up”. F#ck that. As Gandhi said, “be the change you want to see in the world”. I am a peaceful man. I adhere to this philosophy vehemently, just by a more violent means IF pushed to the point.
Start policing your own and holding people accountable, and sh#t like this wouldn’t happen. Point blank.
February 7th, 2013 at 3:08 pm
The only one killing innocent citizens are the trigger happy LAPD. CNN has shown the blue truck with the two innocent women that the police fired on from the rear by the police without warning.
CNN merely called the ambush by the LAPD in which they shot on passenger in the hand and the other woman in the back, an accident. It was attempted murder of Dorner.
It shows that they have no intention of taking him alive. I hope any who are reading this won’t help the police. He means no harm to the public.
He is only hunting thugs with badges.
February 7th, 2013 at 3:09 pm
Sounds like the LAPD haven’t learnt any lessons, Chris Dorner shouldn’t be killing but they shouldn’t either.
A huge investigation as to corrupt dealings should happen AGAIN within the LAPD. Even in a court of law you cannot have a biased person on the jury which is what happened at his hearing.
Two out of three were biased and although objections were made they still judged him…totally unfair.
February 7th, 2013 at 3:10 pm
This is sad and I believe there is definitely truth to this guys story about the female officer kicking someone and the conspiracy to get him let go.
It in no way explains his current actions but I seriously bet there is some truth to it. Its sad that this had to go to crazy town.
February 7th, 2013 at 3:47 pm
Michelle, did you hear about the nine year old who gave birth in Mexico.
How could anybody impregnate a 9 year old girl? The moral fabric of society-the World- is unraveling. People are becoming more wicked with each passing generation.
February 7th, 2013 at 4:13 pm
Go Chris. If you were white the media would be examining all your complaints and issue whether or not they made sense or had any credence.
Here is a man with genuine issues and a case that says he was framed and his name destroyed. yet, all we get are bussed in shrinks willing to do even more damage to his name without regard to any of his claims against the LAPD.
February 7th, 2013 at 10:25 pm
People. We should not be killing each other. Whether we deserve it or not. It’s not a successful human resolution. We have many things to overcome. Violence is one of them. We are not evolving as a species.
February 8th, 2013 at 4:13 am
That is a very nice sentiment Majnoona, but thugs with badges have to be stopped one way or the other. The fact is all of them require violence.
As Dorner said some of our “finest” use their badges to act out their racism, and criminality. The problem is those other “finest” who claim to be defenders of right, look the other way and cover the bad behavior of the thugs with badges under their code of silence.
I say that makes the worse than the thugs with badges because they are the enablers of the criminal cops. So of they have to be killed then they made their beds let them lie in ti.
I know that I would not turn Dorner in. Anyone who can read knows that he was set up. He knew that violating the code of blue could get him fired, yet he stood up for what was right.
Now the very citizens that he acted to protect from police brutality are being convinced to turn against him.
I say fuck the propaganda the LAPD and the white media is trying to use to justify the murder of Dorner at the hands of the thugs with badges.
If than means “violence.” The violence it is.

I agree with you Jerry. The media is trying to make the public feel threatened by Mr. Dorner. They are trying to make us feel that this wronged man has declared war against every police officer wearing a badge.
The truth is he is after the LSOS LAPD crooked cops who acted to set him up. He is in my prayers. I hope he gets a hundred or so.
Good luck Mr. Dorner and good hunting.

Majnoona, the NRA said it best, “the only thing that can stop a bad man with a gun is a good man with a gun.”
Let’s pray that the “good man with a gun,” stops a lot of those bad men with guns and a license to kill citizens without any real oversight.
Notice how there is no discussion by any media of the ambush by the LAPD of those two women delivering news papers from a blue vehicle that looked like Dorner’s truck.
The fact that the cops didn’t make an attempt to arrest the occupants but rather opened fire without cause shows they intend to murder Dorner and not give him a chance to surrender.
NO ONE in the media has mentioned the fact that those two women were almost murdered. They were shot in the back without hesitation.

Paul:
I agree with you. The LAPD has no intention of bringing Dorner in alive. I believe that Dorner will not be given the chance to utter one word. This is one fugitive that the LAPD will want to silence quickly.
