This ‘N That Chitchat

Good morning!

Debra: That’s new news to me. Thanks for sharing.

Al: Yes, posting these absolutely do help. Thanks. It makes it easier for me and my readers to be informed and take action all on one blog. Or at least one of the many they might be reading. Keep ‘em coming. Did Adam chime in? I didn’t see?

Debbie: Sadly, it is a constant struggle and some women make it harder because they are not on the side of women. Did you see that woman last night when the camera panned on her at the Sate of the Union Speech, when Obama talked about equal pay for women? She wasn’t even clapping her hands in approval. Not sure who she was but that is the kind of woman I am talking about. Anyway, your reminder is noted. It is a good reminder for me. Thanks.

Speaking of women not supporting women:

North Dakota Personhood Measure Passes State Senate

North Dakota has only one abortion clinic and has been rated the worst state in the country for women, but the State Senate passed two bills on Thursday will make it even more difficult for women in the state to access abortion care.

North Dakota lawmakers passed aPersonhood Constitutional Amendment initiative on Thursday that would amend the state’s constitution to give legal rights and protections to human embryos. If the ballot initiative passes the House, North Dakota voters will decide on it during the 2014 elections.

“We are intending that it be a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade, since Scalia said that the Supreme Court is waiting for states to raise a case,” state Sen. Margaret Sitte (R), the sponsor of the personhood initiative, told HuffPost.

The Senate also passed a bill on Thursday that could shut down the North Dakota’s one abortion clinic, the Red River Women’s Clinic in Fargo, by requiring abortion doctors to have admitting privileges at a local hospital. A similar law in Mississippi is currently threatening to close the only clinic in that state because the hospitals near the Jackson clinic are all refusing the applications of doctors who perform abortions.

Sitte said that while the bill could effectively end abortion in North Dakota, she supports the bill because it would protect women who experience medical complications after the procedure. “Yes, this bill could possibly close the abortion clinic [in Fargo],” she said. “I’m not saying that’s the intention of the law. The intention of the law is to ensure that women have adequate health care and the follow-up care that they need.”

The State Senate rejected a second personhood bill introduced by Sitte that would have made it difficult for women to use in vitro fertilization. The bill would have prohibited doctors from disposing of unused embryos after an in vitro cycle, which would force families to pay hundreds of dollars each year to keep the embryos frozen indefinitely. It would have also prevented women with cancer or other illnesses from using a sperm or egg donor to conceive through in vitro fertilization.

“It’s like a bad episode of the twilight zone,” said Rania Batrice, communications director the North Dakota Democratic Party. “These bills just open the door for every other state in the country to interject themselves into everybody’s bedroom.”

Sitte said she fully expects North Dakotans to pass the personhood measure in 2014, which declares “the inalienable right to life of every human being at any stage of development must be recognized and defended.”

“We know North Dakotans are pro-life,” she said. “This just puts a statement of fact into the Constitution.”

Sarah Stoesz, the CEO of Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, expressed her disappointment on Thursday with the Senate’s votes.

“Politicians in North Dakota are wasting taxpayer time advancing what would no doubt become another divisive constitutional amendment with dangerous unintended consequences for North Dakota families,” she said in a statement. “Planned Parenthood will continue to fight these legislative attacks on women’s health in partnership with a broad coalition of doctors, patients, teachers, lawyers and other concerned North Dakotans who do not want to see politicians inserting themselves into the private medical decision-making of women and families in our state.”

*******

Could it get any worse for women? Yes, if women such as Sen. Margaret Sitte (R) have any say in the matter, which unfortunately, currently she does.

Speaking of the State of the Union speech, I thought Obama was good. Very good. I am HOPEful of Obama’s plans for us.

Social Butterfly: Good news. Thanks so much for posting those that oppose. Heads up girls…as /SB stated, we need to vote the bastards out of office.

Let’s make sure it passes the House. Thanks Al. Done.

Ronnie: Or should I call you Radical Ronnie with those extreme statements? I don’t make extreme blanket statements as you did – I don’t say ALL men are bad, and I have never said, women NEVER walk on their relationships or marriage, or men are 100% to blame for every relationship that doesn’t work out.

I like CeeCee’s response. Not that I think men are totally responsible for birth control as I wouldn’t trust a man if men were the ones taking a pill instead of women – men don’t get pregnant – hence they aren’t going to be as concerned about it. But if you don’t want to get a woman pregnant then don’t cum inside of her. Put a jacket on. But from what I know about men (not ALL), when it comes to sex, many (not ALL), are more concerned about getting their rocks off sans rubber than worrying about getting a woman pregnant or even catching or spreading something.

Doris: GOP – Greed Over Principle. Nice. If I have not heard that before, I have certainly seen it in many examples from the GOP.

Got to run. Blog me.

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. Hi Michelle:

Yes, Adam did chime in #14 Feb. 9th. I missed his comment myself, But, something told me to look back.

I got another, you guessed it, petition. This one is about Frankenfish of all things. The FDA is moving toward approving genetically-engineered fish for human consumption. “Please help us ensure our native fish populations are protected!”

I don’t think too many of us want to eat a species of fish that doesn’t even exist yet. We might need to at the rate we are killing existing species off with all the overfishing and polluting of oceans and lakes.

Social Butterfly, I agree, I live in Kansas and I will work as hard as possible to get that bastard out. Pat Roberts has to go!

  3. TAO Says:

Al, yes we Bita and I are back too. Adam may have a knack for selecting great Eras to research, but he is a lousy driver.

Getting lost and not knowing whether you are coming or going was my experience. Adam and Bita had a better since of their progress. But I was lost till we found our bearings.

Thanks for thinking of us Al.

  4. Rollo Says:

The american thugs with badges got rid of the media so that they could deliberately burn him alive.

The lies begin in ernest. Have you noticed like Mr. Dorner said the cops are trying to pad their overtime by claiming they still have to protect the police and their families.

It is so hypocritical that your country goes around telling other nations how to respect the rights of others when they are only concerned with the rights of whites in their country.

    Rollo

  5. Cyndy Says:

Obama laid out his plans and the GOP had a chance to do the same but they choose to crab about the President.

  6. Jan Says:

Republicans want you to believe government is bad. If they truly believe big government is bad? Why is it every time we elect them they expand the size and scope of government.

Reagan started the lie about government being good for the people, and then he turned around and grew the size of government and exploded the debt.

Bush 41st added to the debt and Bush 43rd exploded it and almost ruined the entire country.

  7. Trey Says:

Of course he wants the GOP to back him. He knows he has no chance of getting his failed policies through without them. Problem is that Obama is the most polarizing president in at least 2 generations and there is no way the GOP will back liberal bias programs.

Obama is not for “all” Americans. He only favors the lazy and liberal ones. Good luck in your second term POTUS… LOL!!!

  8. Anonymous Says:

I see the President was able to THROW IN A NICE JOKE: “The GOP Should Back His Plan”.

Mr. President sorry to BURST your Bubble BIG TIME. The GOP/BAGGERS would NOT back you on anything even if you came up with the CURE FOR CANCER or some other Life Saving Method to save someone in their Families. Their disdain, Hate, bigotry of you is so intense, that the Country has to suffer, GOP/TEA throwing their own under the bus, if they shake hands with you, want to be part of your Cabinet, Throwing this Country and Economic Stability of World Markets into Chaos with Sequester, Debt Ceiling, DOES NOT MATTER to these Folks or the new Named Moniker by Bobby Jindal = AKA “The Stupid Party”.

They would rather CHEW OFF a Foot.

Your Speech was a Good Start on you having a Clue about the GOP/TEA.

Please no more compliments for John McCain. McCain has worn out his Good Will with the Public. McCain cannot get ON a Sunday Talk Show or IN FRONT OF a Camera FAST ENOUGH to talk about your LACK OF Integrity, Intelligence and anyone in your Administration, including one of his fellow Republican, Chuck Hagel.

  9. Newman Says:

Jan, You are fiction. Get your facts straight.

  10. Jan Says:

Fiction???? Excuse me Newman can you read or count? Reagan added 2 trillion to the debt? Taking it from 800 billion to 2.8 trillion?

  11. Moore Says:

    Reagan ran up the deficit.
George H. W. Bush raised taxes.
George W. ran up the deficit.

  12. Liluye Says:

When I hear news of your pope. I recall what your religion did to my ancestors. They got to our shores with a bible in one hand and a sword in the other, called us cannibals, and fed us the Body of Christ…

  13. Adrian Says:

His resignation was compelled by upcoming action by a European government to issue an arrest warrant against him and a public lien against Vatican property and assets by Easter.

The The International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS) Central Office in Brussels disclosed the following details:

    1. On Friday, 2/01/13, on the basis of evidence supplied by our affiliated Common Law Court of Justice (itccs.org), our Office concluded an agreement with representatives of a European nation and its courts to secure an arrest warrant against Joseph Ratzinger, aka Pope Benedict, for crimes against humanity and ordering a criminal conspiracy….

  14. Mildred Says:

I agree with you Rollo#4. I am an OTW american and I can testify to the brutally of the LAPD. Here is an account of another ex OTW LAPD cop.
    =========================

My Former LAPD Officer Joe Jones MANIFESTO…

I know most of you who personally who me are in disbelief of the partial story I will tell today. A story that has been suppressed for about 18 years, But lives strong everyday of my life.

I without hesitation would like to send my condolences to the Victims who were lost and their families during this tragic situation. I would also like to send my condolences and well wishes to the many former and current Officers, as well as Citizen’s and their families who lost the lives and souls of loved one’s to the injustices of Police Corruption, Scandal, Lies, Deception and Brutality.

Unlike Former Officer Dorner, I fear dying; But I also fear living in a society where Innocent people are dying for no reason. A society where pain so great can be afflicted to people who have to desire to live right and treat people right and then be punished for doing right.

They say we all look alike. In very few cases this of course is true. But in most cases it is not. I feel a resemblance to Dorner, (See Photos) However several people who have no resemblance to Dorner have been shot due to the fear of what is taking place. I DO NOT WANT TO BE SHOT FOR CRIMES I DID NOT COMMIT!. Neither does anyone else.

To preface my story I will say this: Just like former Officer Christopher Dorner I used to smile a lot. I loved everyone. I was voted Friendliest Senior of my Sr. Class in High School. I always believed in the system and never got into any trouble.

I loved hard and gave to all I could. After Joining the LAPD in 1989 I quickly found out that the world and society had major flaws. I had flaws as well for ever believing that our system of government was obligated to do the right thing. his is what I believed as a young Officer.

Without going into major detail, I need you to first assume that I would not surface 16 years later with lies about a situation that has me with PTSD to this very day. The pain forces me to speak as I have yet to shake the Ill’s of my experience as an LAPD Officer. Of course I have moved on physically. But mentally and emotionally I still live with flaws.

I can’t go into re-living the emotions of what I went through so I will say this. I had my home viciously attacked by a gunman with my family and myself inside the house. No arrests were made and my family and I Received very little support.

I had my Civil Rights violated on several occasions. I was falsely arrested at gunpoint by the Sheriffs as an Officer who ID’d himself and was conspired against by both LAPD and the Sheriffs when my Civil case went to Trial.

I was falsely accused on more than one occasion and simply placed in a position that the trust was so compromised that I could no longer wear the Uniform. Also know there were many more episodes. All of these issues are well documented and I present them not to be a Whistle blower, However to hope that one would not assume that all of what is being said is Lies as presented by Dorner.

I don’t know him, But I know me. I will say from my experience, If a person knows they were wrong it is easier to move on without anger. Seems that Dorner obviously could not move on… Could I just be content and move on with my life and not say anything?

Yes…Then I would feel that I for once had my chance to speak on something that hurts me to this day and I did nothing to arouse thought or provoke reform. This is what I hope comes from this whole situation:

Families that lost someone to this tragedy find the peace that only God can give at this terrible time.

Citizens of Los Angeles be mindful of this fearful time to be an Officer and comply vigorously so that you are not the victim of an Officer on high alert.

Government and Politicians please be diligent in the responsibility of creating Laws that protect those who could be the victim of a conspiracy. Never allow the door to be shut on the Truth.

Honest and Fair LAPD & All Agencies: Keep doing what you are doing to protect citizens and be safe while you are doing so. We need you and I would hope that you do not allow the Bureaucratic drama and Stress to kill your morale as I know it can.

Unethical LAPD & all Agencies: Whatever is was that lead you down this path, Pray to somebody’s God to forgive you and begin to remove unethical methods to your policing style. Always think what if it were you,

How would you feel?..How would you like if you were falsely accused and your life, lively- hood and career was taken from you? How would you like if someone was beating on you just because they felt they could get away with it? You are no better the criminals you took and oath to arrest when you do what you do!

Chistopher Dorner. The 1st thing I would say to him is, I feel your pains!…But you are going about this the wrong way. To take innocent lives could never be the answer to anything. I say this as a Man who experienced the same pain, betrayal, anger, suffering, litigation and agony that you did in many ways, Only I didn’t get Fired.

I just choose to go a different route. My heart still suffered that same shock, I was still left to try and put the pieces back together. The disbelief that people could conspire and cause you to loose something you loved so dearly was still there.

I lost my Career, I lost my Family, I lost my Dignity, I lost my Trust…But I am here now to hopefully one day see change…Bro, Don’t kill anymore Innocent people. Your point has been made. Clearly.

They know you mean business, The whole world knows. Refrain from any further wrong doing and do what you must to salvage your Soul. Whatever that means to you. Just remember that God is a forgiving God.

In conclusion I say to people who knew none of this about me that one day I will have to reflect on when was the time to speak. When I see the potential for innocent lives to be lost…The time is Now!…JJ

  15. Judy Says:

Mildred your post is certainly timely. You notice how the Press uses certain names to discredit people from the beginning. Why does it have to be a manifesto?

Why is a person defending their homeland against outside invaders have to be an insurgent? Why was it when black people did not agree with white oppressors in the 60′s have to be militants?

Pay attention to how people’s actions and activities are labeled.

  16. Peter Says:

My cousin lives in LA. She said that this all started because Dorner broke the code of silence by reporting an incident of brutality by another cop on a citizen.

He broke the blue wall of “don’t tell”. I hope some heads roll for this “blue wall corruption”.

  17. Jesus Says:

Ditto, Judy. Thank goodness someone else in this country has the brains to put two and two together!

  18. Paul Says:

Judy, they do it all the time. It is nothing new. The fact is they get to editorialize by using certain words that have negative connotations that way, and influence the facts with subliminal influence, like the popcorn in a theatre ads.

What you will also notice is that most of the mainstream media will report it the same way, using the same word structure. In that regard, it has to almost assuredly go through some sort of central editing process. The question is, who is that?

  19. Krieg Says:

Peter, It started because a disgruntled former employee decided his career was more important that the innmocent lives of others, his actions justified his termination as he was not menatlly competent to be a cop.

  20. Aldofo Says:

We need to stop pretending that the LAPD is an honorable, righteous, legitimate organization. They are very close to being a criminal enterprise and it’s long past time for the FBI to clean house.

  21. Lilly Says:

I will disagree, Krieg. His actions were a result of wrongful termination.

I have yet to meet a mentally competent cop…sorry they don’t make them that way….they’r all a little too paranoid and suffer from the Blind Power Syndrome.

  22. Kathleen Says:

Nothing will change. In two weeks, this will not be remembered by the public and the police will continue to do as they have always done.

The corruption will continue and no cop will say a thing about it. They know what will happen if they say a word about any corruption or police brutality. The message has been sent.

  23. Ido Says:

I love how white folks call anything they don’t want to hear a manifesto.

  24. Charlotte Says:

Kathleen, I fear you are correct. So sad.

  25. Warren Says:

The LAPD is run by thugs who got promoted by being better thugs than the other cops.

  26. Kwan Says:

Seems like the LAPD does not discriminate between black police officers and the criminals they arrest. They all seem to receive the same treatment

  27. Anonymous Says:

It is strange that the people who claim they fear a tyrannical government would not come to Dorner’s defense, durning a period when they think their sencond amendment rights are being threatened. A tyrannical government is the conerstone of their argument.

This would seem to be a prime example and what do they do? Side with the tyrannical government? I wonder what is a tyrannical government to them, a black man being elected POTUS?

  28. Daniel Says:

Dorner did not write a manifesto. Do not criminalize him for speaking the truth. There is a disdain for whistle blowers in this country whereas, it should not be.

Telling the truth should always be encouraged.

  29. Kim Says:

Anon#27, Agreed. Which only proves that Tyranny is not what they are opposing at all. They are as racist as ever. Had Dorner been white they would be falling all over themselves to defend him.

  30. Drummer Says:

I experienced police abuse as an 18 year old in Sacramento in 1970. I had evidence planted on me because they didn’t get the guys they were really after.

Luckily a bystander saw what was happening and later came to my defense in court otherwise I don’t know if I’d be here today. It made me believe the line: the only difference between a cop and a criminal is the cop has the keys.

  31. Kelly Says:

Why won’t media report on the fact that the fire was set on purpose by the police.?

I heard the recordings from real news outlets “The burners are in place, copy, fires are lit, copy, the front is on fire he might come out the back, copy”

will the media please get a story right for once, instead of implying that a self inflicted gun wound ignited tear gas.

  32. Corky Says:

I distinctly heard that this guy lost his wallet when he wa being chased by the cops into the woods las night. Now they say his drivers license was next to his charred body. What? His drivers license didnt burn? Like Mohammed Atta’s license was found after 911. Pretty convenient for ID’ing him. Too convenient.

  33. Tom Says:

Congrats to all the law enforcement who helped to bring this mad dog killer down. I hope the devil is in a foul mood when he meets dorner.

  34. Calvin Says:

So a photo id survived a blazing fire that incinerated an entire body, mind you the ID was located near the body, beyond any recognition??? Wow, that is some impressive plastic. Does anyone know where I can get some of that?

  35. Sara Says:

Officers yell “Get the gas, burn it down” during Dorner, police shootout

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=sisVskohj1k

  36. Donald Says:

IF this execution is not investigated then anything goes in America and no one is safe. Yes, I said execution. There is video of cops saying “get the gas” burn the ______ down”.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.~ MLK

  37. Agnessa Says:

The only difference between cops in America and the criminals is the color of the uniform. And the fact that criminals have the guts to go to jail, whereas cops don’t.

How convenient that this man “died”.

What was the reason behind the $1MM reward? Why was he the subject of the largest man-hunt in history? Why were such extraordinary means used to run him to ground?

Other criminals have done as much or more than Dorner and didn’t received half the attention.

He had the dirt on the boys in blue and he was going to spill.

I’m surprised he wasn’t found trying to “steal more chain than he could swim with”…

  38. Morton Says:

Why is media covering up San Bernardino Sheriffs Departments deliberate arson of an occupied structure ? The scanner traffic is recorded….Dorner was a suspect. When was law enforcement given the authority to execute suspects and non-suspects at their whim ?

  39. Ian Says:

Why does the military use dog tags when plastic ID’s are virtually indestructable?? ID’s have survived the twin towers and this cabin burning!

A million years from now maybe the only remains of mankind might be our ID”s!! Does the LAPD badly wanted to put this to rest, or does Donner still live, or did they burn the wrong man? It does seem they were intent on Donner not telling his story anywhere!!

  40. Barbara Says:

CBS Evening News says cause of fire “unknown”.

    uh, huh.

  41. Katie Says:

Bad “reporting” by the media. Cops were heard lighting fires around the house. That’s what passes for due process these days.

  42. Michael Says:

I wonder if the Pope feels guilt for what took place during his time at the Congregation of the Doctrine of Faith? Maybe he has decided he is not worthy of his office (not that I hold it in any esteem) any longer?

  43. anonymous Says:

this is all such a joke. This was a planned exercise to see just how the public would respond when someone has “allegedly” done anything, but the press adjudicates the issue in print and the government steps in and issued him as a “terrorist threat” therein allowing him to be killed without any regard to rule of law, and the people on FB simply allowed this and their chatter gave the government the confidence that the lemmings of society are ok and feel good that their civil rights and constitutional rights have all but disappeared, but the mass media says all is okay because the powers that be are protecting the people from a mad man, then hence allows the police force to murder innocent people in order to find a “suspect” who has “allegedly” done something. The media convicts the perp within 48-72 hours and the public seemingly allows all rule of law to be thrown out the window as they murder innocent people to try, convict, and issue a death penalty to an “alleged” party. This whole thing is a very sad case on our society and a total joke from the beginning…simply sickening to watch as the society doesn’t even realize what has just taken place. The exercise was a complete success and the blind masses place the last nail in their coffin all by themselves…so sad.

Observing some of the behavior by white americans, we foreigners can understand how easily they could enslave blacks for 250 years and go to war to preserve the right.

They embarrass the white race the world over. I’m a white european and when one of them visits my country I will piss in their food too.

  45. Pearl Says:

The white media gives a forum to white people like Ted Nugent because they want to maintain their racist premise that it doesn’t matter who the OTW is a white man is always his equal.

So they display the lowlife Nugent’s opinion as if it is news because – Hello- it comes from a white boy.

It is so easy to come in here and criticize the Pope or the Catholic Church…small mind people are just like that. They are the “ones who know everything” but don’t know how to manage their tongues.

  48. Bob Says:

Nate, Religion doesn’t deserve blind, unquestioned respect – especially when it causes the damage that it has throughout history and even today is allowed to prey on innocent, helpless victims and make claims of authority for human rights in regard to women and gays.

People are awaking to this and speaking out against the blatant injustice perpetuated by this institution is a healthy thing, not something to lament.

The edifice of willful ignorance that is the catholic church deserves to be marginalized in modern society, not placed on a pedestal.

Nate, the pontiff has had his challenges, why just here in LA he’s had to handle spending $600million on burying the sins of Mahoney and priests he played hide the evidence for (bc they played hide the * w/children), oh wait sorry, that’s SIX HUNDRED & SIXTY MILLION.

I imagine he’s stepping down bc how much BS can a high priest want to pretend to handle in any meaningful way? I’m not criticizing, I’m giving you the facts, Dude, the fact that you don’t like them (does anyone? How about all those molested children at the hands of priests who present themselves as human conduits to God?) doesn’t make them any less true.

Small minds is when you judge based on just your own viewpoint, nothing like lots of cash to make things very real to see, follow the money, Nate, follow the money…
Churches, and their leaders, unfortunately tend to bury a multitudes of sins and then stand behind God as if to take cover from all their blatant wrong doings (to other humans w/very little say in the matter).

All I can say is: If a leader of any kind wants respect then act like someone I can respect, otherwise, step off…and that is the only thing I CAN respect about the pope’s handling of such heinous acts and of such heinous magnitude, he’s stepping off.

Al, thanks for the links, you’re making my life easier, it would be nice if most men would follow suit and do things to make a woman’s life easier, that’d be a nice change : )

I, myself, have been called lazy, uncaring, etc…for not behaving as other women do in terms of doing things ‘for my man’ and my only comment ever is, uh-huh and where is Mz ‘I’ll do anything for you to make your life easier’ now? Probably off hanging out with her cat or a friend-with-bene’s bc it’s less hassle, I do nothing special for anyone unless I’m really feeling it to do it, it always works out best that way… whoever is reaping the receiving knows what they’re getting is done with humanity love and maybe some other special type of luvin’ as well ; )

I say this all on the eve of V Day, when those who wanted to be married so badly did so on the sly, wow, can’t really fathom that one : ) but I know some of you love marriage so who am I to judge, after all – we all know the heart wants what the heart wants, and maybe someday my heart may want that again…(doubt it) I do admire the thought that anyone loves so much and so dearly that they want to love (and annoy, hahaha : ) each other till death parts you, to those of you that feel that way, may I be the first to wish you a very Happy Valentine’s Day <3

The police find Dorner in the cabin a firefight starts then they state suspect tries to get out the back of cabin but was “pushed back inside”.

Then the police set the cabin on fire and made no effort to put the fire out. This to me means they did not want him coming out alive. It would make it a lot simpler for the police if he was shut up. Then they could control the investigation of his death and the reinvestigation of the wrongs done against him by the LAPD.

But to insure that we know that it was Dorner, they completely fabricate a story that Dorner’s wallet was recovered at the scene. However, a previous article stated that on Feb. 7 his wallet was turned over to authorities by a bus driver.

We can therefore deduce that unless he stopped by the DMV during his crime spree and presented all of the necessary documents to obtain a new ID without an existing one, that was an incredibly bold lie.

I believe if his body was burned the wallet, license and everything else would have completely burned up. Evidently this idea never occurred to the press. Neither were they concerned about the recorded tapes between the police ordering the burning of the cabin Dorner was in.

They also put a million dollar bounty on him. They forced the media to shut down their cameras, with the claim that he might see their broadcasts. That was another bold faced lie. They knew at the time that there was no television or computer access available in the cabin.

So free to act without the scrutiny of live news cameras they set fire to the cabin and took an armored vehicle and pushed in all 4 sides of it to insure he could not escape being burned alive. Let’s just tar and feather the “N” without the tar.

Have you ever heard of demolishing a home like that to get to a suspect or offering that much money for his capture? I sure have not. I am very sorry for his family. May his family have support, comfort, and peace. He should not have killed anyone but he was entitled to his day in court.

I wish he had escaped and killed a few more of those thugs with badges as he made his escape. Only then would we ever know the true story of what happened to him at the hands of the LAPD while he was an officer in training.

Sure it is a bit callous. But no more so than the thousands of citizens and OTW cops that have to suffer at the hands of those thugs with badges. They have killed, maimed, framed and sent to prison tens of thousands of innocent citizens. A few dead cops hardly makes up for it.

Cops get paid to take the risk they do. Citizens are the unsuspecting victims of these thugs with badges and a license to kill, frame, maim and abuse them at will.

I am not advocating that ALL police are thugs with badges or even all that bad. But like the white race itself, the ranks of police are made up of a percent that coldblooded thugs with badges, most of the rest are aid and abettors of those thugs with badges.

Are we supposed to give a pass to those cops who do practice the criminal behavior of the thugs with badges just because they only keep quiet about what they see?

I say “HELL NO!” On the contrary they are the reason the rapists, murders, racists, sadist and criminals join the police department. They do it precisely because of those gutless wonders who they know will look the other way and allow the to practice their cruelty upon the public.

Christopher Dorner was a man who lived to be a cop. For him to risk that by violating the “code of silence” cops live by shows a degree of integrity that should be respected, no Honored. His being an officer in the Military and believing in the Code of Honor that the Uniform represents, told the truth.

He risked his life’s desire to be a cop by reporting the abuse of a handcuffed citizen by his training officer who he new could retaliate by getting him fired.

He was also aware that the entire power of the LAPD would come down on him to protect the “code of silence” and protect their “thin blue line. So we are led to believe that he just decided to make some shit up against a cop whose arrest record is riddled with accounts of her abusing arrestees.

But even he couldn’t have known she was a cop whose connections would allow the board of enquiry to be stocked with her ex boyfriend, boss and ex partner. And a review board that couldn’t find that having those three be the ones to decide his fate was unfair.

The ass-kissing white media suck up to the police by calling them “heros” because they are cops. I repeat cops are NOT like soldiers, SERVING their country. They are public employees WORKING for the public who get a very generous salary for someone with only a high school diploma.

Unlike soldiers, they can quit ANY TIME it gets too hot for them on the job. They do not “serve” as a soldier does without the option to quit in the face of being put in harms way. They “work” for the public the exact same as any other public employee.

NO, that is not true. They work for the public with WAY MORE privileges than the average public employee. They get to hide their employment record, and to abuse the people they are supposed to “serve,” in most cases with only a token bit of oversight.

So what does your gut instinct say about who you think was lying? Dorner or the LAPD? But, now we will never know. The LAPD is going to keep the case open just long enough to gouge the citizens of LA for all the overtime they can and then quietly shut the case down.

    Another day, same shit.

How to Deal with a Tough Diagnosis

    “You have cancer.”
    “It’s Alzheimer’s.”
    “The diagnosis is Parkinson’s Disease.”

No one is ever truly prepared to find out that he or she has a chronic and/or life-threatening disease.

But it happens all the time. So even if this information doesn’t apply to you right now, bookmark this article, because you never know when you—or a close friend or family member—might need it.

A serious diagnosis usually leads to a flood of emotions. In fact, some patients say that the mental aspect of dealing with a disease (coming to terms with it) can be even more challenging than the physical part (whether it’s managing pain, fatigue, memory loss or other symptoms).

So I spoke with an expert about how to handle what goes on in your head when your body breaks down.

    OVERCOMING DENIAL
Most people experience disbelief when they first learn that they have a serious health condition.

They may be confident, intellectually, that the diagnosis is correct…and yet somehow, it just doesn’t seem real. “The healthier you feel at the time of diagnosis, the more you may be in denial,” said Walter Baile, MD, a professor in the departments of behavioral sciences and psychiatry at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston who counsels doctors on how to communicate delicately with patients who have cancer.

If you truly doubt your doctor and need extra confirmation about your diagnosis, get a second opinion, he recommended. But beyond that, he said, the best thing that you can do is give yourself some time for the diagnosis to sink in—as it will. “This could take anywhere from moments to days,” he said.

    GETTING PAST YOUR FEARS
Once the disbelief has worn off, you may feel fearful and/or anxious. A lot of times, people are frightened and worried because they feel lost and out of control—they don’t know what’s going to happen next, said Dr. Baile.

So the best way to reduce any panic or fright is by learning everything you can about your disorder or disease. Read any pamphlets your doctor gives you…check out books from the library on the topic…and search for information on legitimate medical Web sites, such as http://www.MedlinePlus.gov, the site for the National Institutes of Health.

The more you know about your condition and what’s ahead, the fewer surprises there will be and the more you will feel in control, said Dr. Baile.

    STAYING POSITIVE
At this point, patients often become demoralized and can even feel grief.

“Even though nobody has died, you can still experience a sense of loss,” said Dr. Baile. After all, a serious illness can cause you to lose not only your health but also your job and/or financial stability—and you may worry about how it might negatively affect relationships with your loved ones and friends.

At this stage, it’s usually helpful to speak with a trained mental health counselor, such as a social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist, he said, because a counselor can help you manage stress and maintain optimism.

    LETTING OTHERS IN
As you start to develop a more positive state of mind, follow this last piece of advice.

You might feel embarrassed at first to tell relatives and friends about your diagnosis, but keeping it hidden from the outside world may only make you feel lonely.

“Remember that there is nothing to feel ashamed of, and the effect of holding feelings in is much more damaging than getting them on the table,” said Dr. Baile. “You can’t deal with your emotions when they’re all locked inside.” Plus, when more people are aware of your diagnosis, more people can help you cope with it.

If you’re too tired of telling people the story of your diagnosis or if you’re too busy going to medical appointments to share the news, appoint a close friend or family member to spread the word for you, he recommended. Or you could tell people via a single mass e-mail or Facebook status update or by using a Web site such as http://www.CaringBridge.org.

And join a support group full of people who have your condition—either a group that meets in person, an online group or both, said Dr. Baile. You can find one by talking to your doctor or by entering the phrase “support group” and then the name of your condition into any Web search engine.

If talking with an entire group feels overwhelming, some hospitals have patient-to-patient programs that can match you one-on-one with someone who has (or had) your condition, so your ask doctor about that.

The supportive voicemails, e-mails, cards and baskets of fruit that you will likely get from people who hear about your plight are bound to make you smile and realize how much you’re loved—and this will help you continue to stay positive.

Plus, these loyal and compassionate friends and family members may offer to help you—and you should let them, said Dr. Baile. When people offer to bring you dinner or groceries…clean your house…or accompany you to a medical checkup or procedure, say “yes.”

Don’t feel as though you are putting them out—most people don’t offer to help if they don’t want to help. Instead, when you accept help, see it as a win-win—a good deed that makes your life easier and makes the other person feel good about himself, too.

Howie, I saw you reference to the Achernar. There is another sighting that can’t be seen from the mainland that is used by the L^L. If you can locate Mars on Guam as your Sun begins to grow dark, you will see Achernar.

If you look to the left of Achenar about the same distance above the horizon you will see a brilliant white star. That Star is Canopus. It is the second brightest star in your sky.

The L^L use it to vector to a Gate on earth that takes them to other worlds and Galaxies at incredible speeds. They have resisted sharing the location of those Gates on earth.

Perhaps you could ask your Carr for the location. Not for publication on the blog but for sharing it with me, Adam. I believe the Gates will bring us to places in the future that are so far away that even the light trails from those worlds have not reached this part of the Universe.

How to Handle Political Differences at Work

What are you and your coworkers chatting about at the office these days?
Given that we’ve all just chosen a president for the next four years, your water cooler conversations aren’t likely to revolve solely around your weekend plans or the latest episode of Dancing with the Stars.

In fact, a survey this year from the human resources firm CareerBuilder showed that 36% of employees reported discussing politics at work and 8% of employees had had a fight or heated conversation with a coworker over their political views.

Interestingly, workers over the age of 45 were much more likely than younger employees to discuss politics at work.

What do you do if your coworker or even your boss starts sounding off on why a particular politician is either “the best” or “the worst”—but you hold the opposite opinion?

    SHOULD YOU SPEAK UP?
Lots of people don’t want to be so brutally honest that they cause friction with coworkers or risk falling out of favor with their bosses. As a result, many choose to simply keep their mouths shut whenever politics comes up.

But staying quiet might cause both your mental and physical health to suffer. Stifling a strong opinion isn’t just an intellectual decision—it creates a negative emotional response within you. Keeping negative emotions bottled up can fill you with frustration and anger…make you lose sleep…depress your immune system…and even make you sick.

Plus, what if, after making a political statement, your boss or colleague turns to you, looks you in the eye and challenges you, saying, “What do you think?” Remaining silent isn’t always an option.

Don’t worry, because I learned some tricks that may help you navigate this type of sticky situation from Sharlyn Lauby, president of the human resources consulting firm ITM Group, Inc., and author of the popular blog HRBartender.com.

    Here they are…
    1. Take a balanced approach. If you’re bursting at the seams to reply to a coworker’s political comment that you don’t agree with, Lauby said, the best first step is to start your statement diplomatically by acknowledging the other person’s point of view, which will soften (but not weaken) your point.

For example, you might say, “I can totally understand why there are some people who are upset about the Affordable Care Act and the individual mandate. But I also see how being able to keep kids on their parents’ policies can be a real benefit.”

    2. Resist a debate. You don’t want a substantive conversation to turn into mere verbal sparring, so keep your tone mellow, not aggressive. But if your colleague gets hostile with you and you begin to feel uncomfortable at how intense the discussion is becoming, there’s an easy way to bring the conversation to a close in a civil fashion.

After all, it’s not that politics is an unnatural topic to discuss, in general—it’s that it’s an unnatural topic to discuss in the workplace. So you can gently remind your colleague of the context and setting—why you’re in the room together in the first place.

Depending on your profession, you might say, “You know, this is a really interesting talk, but we are here today because we love architecture. We’re passionate about structure and design. And, according to our meeting agenda, we’re supposed to be talking about this upcoming project of ours. So is it OK if we go back to talking about these building plans?”

If neither of the above two tips work and the conversation continues to escalate, it’s time to unilaterally disengage from the conversation. You could do this by making a statement such as, “Well, maybe we can respectfully agree to disagree” or “I’m sorry, but I don’t feel comfortable talking about this topic anymore.”

These types of statements make it clear that you’re trying to politely end the discussion and may help prevent your colleague from provoking you further.
