I saw this on Prism Princess’s blog. http://www.orderlyrandomness.com/poetry/

A second time won’t hurt though.

  2. Lewis Says:

I checked the link out but I couldn’t find the reference. On the topic.

It’s ironic that some of the same people who are against background checks to purchase a gun are advocating background checks for the Miss American beauty pageant.

  3. Sonja Says:

Any thing to dis the OTW.

  4. Brenda Says:

Yeah and most of the commentary says shit like “Others may be shocked simply because it’s 2013 and there’s a hope that society can and has moved past such racism.”

Oh the clever white boy always one to dodge responsibility for his racism. It is not “society” in America that hasn’t moved past Racism. It is the bigoted whites in this country that can’t move past racism.

  5. Angela Says:

I am so sick and tired of white people asking me what country I am from. I just want to slap the shit out of them.

There fixation on skin color must dims their wits. So because she is brown with straight hair she must be a arab. These are the idiots that think white men alone have made this country great. I say white men because the dirt for brains white women follow their racist men lock-step.

  6. Zach Says:

Absolutely disgusting. Same thing with Marc Anthony catching racist flack for singing the National Anthem at the All Star Game this summer.

It’s embarrassing how ignorant some white Americans are. White doesn’t mean American; pride does. And right now, I’m not too prideful of this race of mine.

  7. Alexandria Says:

Some of my fellow white americans are incredibly hateful people. Go be the best Miss America you can be. The rest will watch in jealousy as they never amount to anything but racist bigots.

  8. Joe Says:

Zach#6, okay nigger lover you can leave!

  9. Debbie Says:

I can not believe the level of ignorance that some people display. This is America and she is American. Period! Congratulations to her and I hope that she does not take this personally. Unfortunately, there are racist bigots still out there!

Prism Princess, I couldn’t find the article either.

  10. James Says:

I guess most of these white people forgot that their own ancestry came from other lands too. What a shame!! It shows how divided racist whites keep us as a nation.

  11. Gordon Says:

It’s easy to hate and criticize others, but that won’t take her crown away. It seems that more and more people use facebook and twitter as weapons of mass stupidity!

  12. Tom Says:

Very sad. It is amazing how many ignorant people there are in the world.

  13. Mary Says:

The bitch brought it on herself. I do think her comment was what did her in. She was the one that brought this up not the public so the pulic is replying to it. She should not have made that comment about Asians

  14. Darla Says:

she is an AMERICAN people are so stupid its sad……america is diverse……we all have our own heritage but that doesnt make us un American…..I think she is beautiful and am proud to have her as Miss America….

  15. Albert Says:

Seriously, what is wrong with some people. So shallow….

  16. Darren Says:

From what I have seen she has been widely accepted. The only racist remarks I have seen are in the media, without any sources to back them up.

  17. Joe Says:

When will a white girl be Miss India? rofl. good luck waiting around for that to happen!

  18. Ken Says:

Darren#16, Here’s your proof…Tod Starnes, Host of FOX NEWS Commentary is guilty of bigotry his very self…toddstarnes ✔ @toddstarnes

The liberal Miss America judges won’t say this – but Miss Kansas lost because she actually represented American values. #missamerica

This is the only look to racist todd thinks represents American values http://www.google.com/search?q=Theresa+Vail,+miss+kansas&tbm=isch&imgil=fYlk96z5fG_I6M%253A%253Bhttp%253A%252F%252Ft0.gstatic.com%252Fimages%253Fq%253Dtbn%253AANd9GcRqoA6rVBAT5aWkDxbvxQKxuFFGaU5eLdYmof5cjxQ8w6j0k3UCEA%253B992%253B558%253BxgHsEiAd6ZzikM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fabcnews.go.com%25252FEntertainment%25252Fmiss-kansas-tattooed-soldier-opera-singer-breaks-miss%25252Fstory%25253Fid%2525253D20239997&source=iu&usg=__yIv2PyylaKGCArRPb9WRLiUo85c%3D&sa=X&ei=KSPUU8H5HIfP8AHo5oHIAQ&ved=0CCEQ9QEwAA&biw=677&bih=979

    You be the judge.

  19. Joe Says:

Exactly Darren#16, just more anti-white bs from the media to get ratings, readers, etc.

  20. Andrew Says:

    Joe#17, are you a retard?

  21. Chris Says:

Ken#18, and when he was called out on it by CNN and NBC, he doubled down by accusing them of being anti-American suggesting that his definition of what is American was the sole standard. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/09/16/wont-believe-what-cnn-considers-racist/

What a creep. If an OTW was this disrespectful to the white race, he would be fired and rode out on a rail. But White America doesn’t see anything wrong with this bigot.

If it was a Rev. White, he would have to be banned. Sure his tweet came before Miss America was named but his standard for being an American still stands.

Remember how the quarterback of the 49ers was lambasted because of his tattoo?

Double standard because she is, hello, white. So he gets to dance around his bigotry. Notice his gutlessness, he didn’t have the stones to say owning a gun was one of America’s values, he said the 2nd Amendment.

Well does that mean that if she disavowed the other 26, she’d be okay because she is for the gun one?

Hypocrite and LSOS. But hey, he’s white.

  22. Henrietta Says:

I’m a blond white american and I didn’t like Miss Kansas. I didn’t think the tattoo contributed to her look and it was a beauty pageant.

That creep on Fox, Starnes was peeved that the blonde-haired, blue-eyed Miss Kansas didn’t win instead.

I think that Miss Kansas was indeed awesome, having spent five years in the Kansas Army National Guard and now a double major in chemistry and Chinese at Kansas State University.

But to Starnes, her loss not only meant that the judges were too liberal and anti-American but that it was also a good excuse to foment resentment.

He tweeted, “The liberal Miss America judges won’t say this – but Miss Kansas lost because she actually represented American values.”

Race bating bastards like that creep could only work for that piece of shit station fox fake facts.

  23. PrismPrincess Says:

Thanks for highlighting Lilly Singh Michelle. I really like her humor. I first posted this video on my blog in 9/2013. I happened to have reposted it again just yesterday.
I love when great minds think alike.
    Happy weekend to you!

    PrP

  24. Alice Says:

Chris#21, e repeated his animosity on Facebook: “Americans were backing Miss Kansas — but the liberal Miss America judges were not interested in a gun-toting, deer-hunting, military veteran.”

Not that there’s any indication Starnes had anything like real data. Apparently, just throwing around right-wing bigotry and smears against liberals is acting as mainstream America, in Starnes’ mind.

Memo to Starnes: If Miss America isn’t American enough for you, maybe it’s because you’re not American enough for America.

  25. Al Says:

It is Women who make the World Wonderful. It is said that “beauty exists within the eye of the beholder”. White America, can they really call themselves true Americans? By some definition’s I’m hearing, only Native Americans would qualify for the title of “Miss America”.

Everyone else comes from some other place, this diversity is what makes this country great. It is also what is tearing her apart. Go figure. Racism is not an American trait, but then neither is being white.

    Loved the video.

  26. Lucy Says:

A student comes to a young professor’s office hours. She glances down the hall, closes his door, and kneels pleadingly.”I would do anything to pass this exam,” she says. She leans closer to him, flips back her hair, and gazes meaningfully into his eyes.

“I mean,” she whispers, “I would do anything…”He returns her gaze, “Anything?”"Anything,” she says. His voice softens, “Anything?” “Anything,” she repeats again. His voice turns to a whisper. “Would you… study?”

  27. Zen Lill Says:

    Ignorant people …
and she’s Gorgie (deal with it)
    -ZL

  28. Corrie Says:

    You tell’em Zen Lill.

  29. Kathie Says:

Al#25, I like your balanced approach to this race thing. If my husband could just see half as well as you do. 19 years of marriage to a man who thinks that his wife is the most coveted in the neighborhood because she is white is becoming tiring.

It never was flattering to be told that I am pretty because I am the only white woman for miles around. Our 4 children hear it and they have learned to judge each other by how close to my color and features they look.

It is terrible to discover that you were married simply because of your race. I loved him without regard to his. Now I despise him. As soon as the kids are grown and out of the house, and I get a damn good divorce attorney this marriage is over.

I married him for love. I’m leaving this pathetic sorry excuse for a man proud to be who he is for the money.

  30. Al Says:

Kathie: One does not have to be a woman to understand how you feel. Unhappy. Some things children can learn from a parent can be sad. Me, defiant as I was, never could understand my fathers bigotry. Good luck with your family troubles.

    Al
