Money Matters

Good morning!
Why is it that the repugs always tout that they are fiscally responsible, yet spend, no, “waste” so much money holding the country hostage.
One Year Later
BY CAP ACTION WAR ROOM POSTED ON
A Year After The Government Shutdown, Conservatives Haven’t Learned Their Lesson
Today marks the one-year anniversary of when federal offices began closing due to a Republican-forced government shutdown — that lasted 16 days — in an effort to pursue their extreme ideological agenda. A quick reminder of what the government shutdown costs America:
- $24 Billion: What the shutdown cost the economy.
- $2.5 Billion: What the shutdown cost taxpayers.
- 120,000 Jobs: The number of jobs lost due to the shutdown.
- $414 Million: The estimated lost revenue to parks and surrounding communities due to the closure of 401 national parks.
Despite the deep unpopularity of the government shutdown shenanigans among the American public, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has promised more of the same if the GOP takes control of the upper chamber in 2015.
“The typically reserved McConnell laid out his clearest thinking yet of how he would lead the Senate if Republicans gain control of the chamber. The emerging strategy: Attach riders to spending bills that would limit Obama policies on everything from the environment to health care, consider using an arcane budget tactic to circumvent Democratic filibusters and force the president to “move to the center” if he wants to get any new legislation through Congress. McConnell risks overreaching if he follows through with his pledge to attach policy riders to spending bills. If Obama refuses to accept such measures, a government shutdown could ensue. Republicans bore much of the blame for last year’s government shutdown, and their fortunes rebounded only when the administration bungled the rollout of Obamacare…But asked about the potential that his approach could spark another shutdown, McConnell said it would be up to the president to decide whether to veto spending bills that would keep the government open.
This is a stark reminder of how much is at stake this election cycle. But the implications go beyond just government shutdown threats. A Republican-controlled Senate would also mean:
- A Senate focused on creating an economy that only works for the wealthiest and select few, instead of an economy that works for everyone.
- A Senate focused on taking away people’s healthcare and gutting environmental safeguards that provide vital public health protections.
- A Senate focused on obstruction of progressive appointments to the executive and judiciary, which will impact voting rights, marriage equality, health care, immigration and more.
- A Senate focused on overblown Administration scandals instead of addressing the serious issues facing Americans.
BOTTOM LINE: One year after the shutdown, it’s clear conservatives haven’t learned their lesson. Americans want a Senate that works for them, not one that holds them hostage for political reasons.
*****
Readers: Conservatives don’t care about learning lessons, they only care about control, and will do anything they need to, to be holding the keys and back in control. Yeah, we do care about a Senate that works for us, but the repubs in control is not going to be a Senate that works for the American people, at least not the 99%. They will be the demise of this country if they control the Senate. Our only HOPE is if the Dems retain control.
Patricia, Tina: Both of your statements cannot be said enough in the next two and a half weeks. Go to the polls and vote them out.
Peace out.

Well Michelle unless Madaline is willing to kill S.T.A.R.K has taken away 600,000 voters’ right to vote early Saturday morning, about 5AM in Texas.
You can use a gun license to vote, but not a college student ID, or a Federal issued Indian Tribe ID, or a Department Affairs ID.
These restrictions will cause about 600,000 voters to lose their right to vote. White pundits are lining up to defend this law. Some start off claiming if will prevent people from showing up to vote fraudulently, but when pressed to state the amount of this type of voter fraud that has committed in the past they smile and say “the state of Texas says there may not be much evidence but there is nothing wrong with tightening the law even more.
The three dissenting Justices were all females.
—————————
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote a dissenting opinion of more than six pages, joined by Justices Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor. The opinion, though written mostly in even tones, in substance was quite critical of the law, of Texas’s handling of the controversy over the law and its history of racial discrimination, and of the Fifth Circuit for clearing the way for the law to be used.
Much of the Ginsburg opinion closely tracked the arguments that the Corpus Christi judge had enlisted in finding the law to be the result of intentional discrimination, a violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and an unconstitutional poll tax in violation of the Twenty-Fourth Amendment because of the fees required to get a valid ID.
“The greatest threat to public confidence in elections in this case,” Ginsburg wrote, “is the prospect of enforcing a purposefully discriminatory law, one that likely imposes an unconstitutional poll tax and risks denying the right to vote to hundreds of thousands of eligible voters.”
There were no publicly recorded votes for Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., and Justices Samuel A. Alito, Jr., Stephen G. Breyer, Anthony M. Kennedy, Antonin Scalia, and Clarence Thomas. However, there was no sign that any of them had declined to take part.

The white boy is doing whatever it takes to steal this election.

Michelle I hope your advice to Patricia, Tina: bears fruit. It seems that the 1% have been burnt by you once too often and this time they intend to spare no money to defeat you.
October 20th, 2014 at 10:34 am
Michelle, your efforts may well depend on how effective you are in convincing my fellow sisters to stop following lock-step behind their white males.
It is an uphill battle. I know so many idiots who parrot the republican line as if that party gave a shit about women white or whatever.

Darren Wilson is giving information supporting his version of what happened. The news media is supporting him by having their hosts and pundits emphasize that he was in fear of his life.
Get ready for a not grand jury verdict of justified Homicide.

Did anyone here about the comment of Shamil Tarpischev’s, Russian Tennis Federation president and IOC member, derogatory reference to Venus and Serena Williams on a Russian late-night talk show.
Tarpischev appeared on the Russian late-night show “Evening Urgant” alongside former WTA player Elena Dementieva last week. When Dementieva was asked what it was like to play against the Williams sisters, Tarpischev jumped in and referred to them as the “Williams brothers,” according to multiple reports.
After a back-and-forth with the show host and Dementieva, who did not laugh at the comment, Tarpischev reportedly continued: “It’s frightening when you look at them. But really you just need to play against the ball.”
””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””
Why white males feel that they can disrespect black females with impunity is beyond my imagination. When I heard it my thought is did he really say that on television?

Michelle, I live in Milwaukee, Wi. I am a white woman. I attended one of several meetings taking place across Wisconsin. They are designed to show white people how to challenge “people who are not supposed to be voting.”
It is really a response to the fact that the Supreme court delayed the implementation of Wisconsin’s voter ID law until after the midterm elections.
These meeting teach white people how to prevent “legally” prevent OTWs from casting a vote. We are told that Under state law, voters, election workers, official observers, or any member of the public can challenge the validity of someone’s vote, but to do so, they must swear under oath that they have firsthand knowledge that the person is not qualified to vote. A challenge cannot be based on a mere suspicion or hunch.
We are being shown how to use legitimate questions to “legally” harass and intimidate OTW voters. And whites in districts that vote heavily democratic.
I was appalled but most of those there took to it eagerly. Many actually relished in the fact that they could use the law to terrorize other people.

The only fraud we’ve heard about is by Republicans. Everyone vote and when you go out and vote, take your cell phone and film any ‘challenge’ that comes your way. Should be an interesting election with all the gerrymandering and voter ID laws and especially cutting into the hours and dates to vote.
We all have the right to vote; if the lines are still long and it’s after 8, the votes count. Last time the problem was long lines and reduced voting places. To correct this problem, most Republican politicians worked to have the days and hours cut.
Our Constitution gives us the right to vote that NO ONE should be able to take away… especially our paid by the Koch Brothers Supreme Court Republicans.
GET OUT AND VOTE DEMOCRAT IN 2014. Why?
Because the Republicans have done nothing but take away average American rights, created zero job opportunities which could improvement our infrastructure mess, make laws that just discriminate, while giving the 1% billions in additional tax cuts and additional rights to profit from America and Americans [like fracking].
If you want no minimum raise hike, reduced benefits and higher age for SS, $10,000 health insurance ‘entitlement’ we payeach year just to be insured, no job creation, just tax cuts for the rich even while we pay Walmart employees billions in social services, no funding for the VA, CDC, no surgeon general, vote for Republicans.
If you want a solution to our REAL problems, vote DEMOCRAT IN 2014. We will win if we all get out and vote (remember Obama won by over 5 MILLION votes last time). But you have got to get in line or vote on line.
October 20th, 2014 at 11:25 am
Like the dead, & prisoners who voted for Obama? Or maybe with the Black Panthers intimidating voters in PA.? Seems like libs are the most worried, but that is because they are the most fraudulent. I have lost more rights & freedoms with the Lyin King than at any time in my life.

It appears that Madaleine had best get ready for a run in …
…and Repub women reading here, vote for yourself as a women, your dude will never know anyway. Do the right thing for women bc if the whole party minimizes YOUR needs as a female, what else are they willing to do that doesn’t suit YOUR needs as a woman?
I’ll answer: anything they want to bc you gave them permission by not standing up to stop them. Now, get in there and do what’s right for women.
Or give up your VO rights…
You’re welki, Al’a'kazam

Conservatives don’t have to learn anything because most white males vote color and most white women vote as their males tell them.

Dr. Cyril Broderick, A Liberian scientist and a former professor of Plant Pathology at the University of Liberia’s College of Agriculture and Forestry says the West, particularly the U.S. is responsible for the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Dr. Broderick claims the following in an exclusive article published in the Daily Observer based in Monrovia, Liberia. He wrote the following:
The US Department of Defense (DoD) is funding Ebola trials on humans, trials which started just weeks before the Ebola outbreak in Guinea and Sierra Leone. The reports continue and state that the DoD gave a contract worth $140 million dollars to Tekmira, a Canadian pharmaceutical company, to conduct Ebola research. This research work involved injecting and infusing healthy humans with the deadly Ebola virus. Hence, the DoD is listed as a collaborator in a “First in Human” Ebola clinical trial (NCT02041715, which started in January 2014 shortly before an Ebola epidemic was declared in West Africa in March.

#15From The Global Observer Says:
October 20th, 2014 at 3:43 pm
This is a lie planted no doubt to lay on the Obama administration blame for one of the many virus invented by whites when they controlled most of Africa. Rhodesia and South African run regimes invented several viruses designed to thin out the black population of Africa.
Many of those viruses are still operational. Some are even more lethal than Ebola. I suspect that they are getting nervous that they will be discovered so like the claim that whites are responsible for slavery because some Africans sold slaves, they will now claim that they are not responsible for the thousands of deaths in Africa because the Obama administration experimented with the ebola virus.
Many other white countries in europe were coconspirators in the scheme to wipe out Africa. Many tried to enlist the aid of Israel scientist by telling them this was only a practice run for eliminating the arabs.
Israel was leery of their promises because Israel suspected that they would be next if white racist succeeded in killing the arab and black populations of Africa.
The republican party and many democrats were involved in the assistance given to South Africa. Several prominent preachers in the republican party secretly brought vials of the virus to be tested and refined in the US back and forth during their visits to South Africa.
Obama knows that many of the viruses are still out there. He is in the unenviable spot of having to keep secret the complicity of the US at the highest levels.
Nigeria refused to allow any US doctors to work on their people when Ebola broke out there. Whits working in their oil fields were told that if there was a significant outbreak they would be the first to be infected.
The virus mysteriously disappeared. And Nigeria was declared Ebola free by WHO.

I hope I did not imply that racists in the US are not responsible for the ebola and ebola like deaths in West Africa. I was only commenting on the attempt by those doing it to place the blame on the US government run by Obama.
There is most definitely an on going attempt to wipe out blacks in Africa as a beginning solution to the fear by whites that they will soon lose control of the world economically and militarily .
The plan has been in operation since the beginning of the discovery of global warming and the discovery of China’s attempt to influence the OTWs that the European quest for dominance of the world’s wealth has caused most of their plight.
The fact that what China is saying is true hasn’t motivated the europeans to share the wealth. It has instead galvanized them into a cabal of fear. They are being lead and their fears stoked by racists in America.
The idea to “thin out” the world beginning with Africa has been an American racist dream since the beginning of the colonization of Africa.
The harvesting of organs and improvement of transplants began in the US and blossomed in South Africa and Rhodesia. Experimentations in disease control began on blacks in the US and became a thriving industry in Africa.
I hope I did not cast any doubt on the fact that US racists are continuing their practice of using Africans as guinea pigs for OTW genocidal drugs, viruses and psychological war games.
Africa has been the playground of schemes to pit one faction against the other to keep a state of constant war going on. This was designed to disrupt the ability of the Continent to galvanize behind a concept that would enable them as a race to compete with europeans.
Being in a constant state of war kills off the brain pool and prevents the Continent’s population from forming an educational system that would enable its young to compete globally.
That’s why there are always “warlords” causing murder, child abductions and keeping the black governments tied to white industrialists to keep their country’s functioning.
The “conspiracy theorists” are more right than they know.

Michelle, the key states for the Senate are: AR, CO, GA, IA, KY, LA, MI, and NC. WE need at least 4 of them.
I hope you can be of assistance.
