The Interview: Rachel Maddow Interviews KellyAnne Conway – Trump’s Campaign Manager

Good morning!
I’ve been posting so many articles lately that I can’t even remember the last time I posted anything from the Rachel Maddow Show. Just because I haven’t since I reopened the blog doesn’t mean I’m not tuned into her. Oh yes, I’m still watching and loving Maddow’s commentary.
Last night she had on KellyAnne Conway, Trump’s latest campaign manager. And the first woman to hold the position of a presidential campaign manager. Kudos to her for that.
Here’s the video’s from the Rachel Maddow Show. (Fingers crossed I pasted these videos in the correct order. :) I know…I know..there is a lot of them. They range from a few minutes to a little over eight. Pick and choose the ones you want to watch.

Readers: I don’t know how Maddow does it. If it was me I’d be pulling out my hair. But she is the ultimate pro - Maddow is so savvy when it comes to asking questions and making sure her points come across loud and clear. She left no stone unturned in her questioning (the girl knows her stuff). And yet she does it in such a diplomatic way, that I truly don’t think Conway had any idea what was happening.
So what was happening? In my opinion, Conway was getting kinda crushed. Conway’s only way to handle Maddow’s skilled tongue was to either ignore or dance and skirt around the issues and Maddow’s questions, while she continually tried to pull Clinton into the conversation. I mean the only way you can you defend Trump’s actions is by avoiding that he is doing them. I think it was a disaster for Trump.
In the end, though it was all smiles – (Maddow’s was genuine, Conway’s looked forced and a bit out of sorts) - as Maddow graciously thank Conway. I absolutely loved it. Way to go Maddow.

Social Butterfly: I like him too. I saw a horrific docu about 10 years ago on the raising of factory chickens, and I was completely disgusted. I didn’t eat chicken for awhile. Any chicken. Now I purchase what I hope to be a chicken that is more humanely raised.
I wish my body didn’t need meat, or I would give it up for good. I looked into having my own hens in my backyard years ago when I was married. But that never happened. I did grow many fruits and veggies though – loved picking them fresh. I’m with you on having a farm. :)

Scott: I’ll stand up and say it (I’m standing right now :) My uncle just spent the last two months of his life in the VA. He just passed. I love him dearly. He loved the VA and all of those taking care of him. In return they loved him and cared for him well until the day he died. RIP Uncle Al. Miss you.

Great interview, nice deflecting when she had no answer, and they played nice, overall I don’t think it told us anything we didn’t know already.
/SB, that Charles Blow video was spot on, so glad he called the brother out on his choice to support DT.
All of DT’s women, including this woman, have that look of deep indoctrination that’s hard to give words to…

Maddow knows how to interview. The way to Con her is to not. Trump followers are basically a cult of crazies that are too far gone to ever change their minds. They’ll weave grand conspiracy mythologies before they ever admit to any wrongdoing on Trump’s part, which is why they get increasingly crazy the more he sinks in the polls.

Hilary#1, Oh so I’m a crazy? Lol I make 6 figures at 27, and I’ve been studying politics objectively for a decade(Although I was less objective when I was a liberal). Yet my “educated” peers are stuck in student debt working at Burger King, and some are even on the government cheese asking for me to pay even more to subsidize their sorry asses. I haven’t broken any law, and I’ve taken numerous business courses, and I employ 7 people. I pay a 40% tax…Fucking 40% is that fair? Hillary wants to raise my taxes, and is a proven war monger. No thanks. I would rather vote for Trump who isn’t held back by foreign donors and special interests.

Consider this: lets say Hillary gets elected. Almost always at least one branch is controlled by the opposite party. By offending such a large chunk of republicans almost assures blocks and this trend of deadlock in the government will continue and nether party will ever get anything done.
I think she should use anything she can as long as it is directed at Trump and don’t paint all conservatives as racist. Just as it was not right for Trump to paint Mexicans and others as rapist and criminals. In my mind Clinton is essentially doing the same thing now by implying white suprimist have taken over the party, I think that kind of rhetoric is over the line.

Trump has demonstrated very similar ideas to those that the white power people espouse in nearly everything he says about race, and nearly everything he says about religion. He even has a racist fake-news peddler running his campaign.

Most Americans want gay marriage (57%), most American want some stricter gun laws (69%), most Americans want Hispanic immigrants to have a pathway to citizenship that doesn’t take and average of 13 yrs to obtain (61%)
Most Americans support Muslim immigration to America ( 57%) Most Americans favor a woman’s right to choose (60%)…all issues that the Republican party opposes.
