What’s worse, praising a convicted rapist or condemning a man for not standing during the national anthem?

It appears the latter in the minds of many.

Good morning!

Lately the views of what is right and what is wrong is totally skewed and screwed up.

Here’s the write from Daily Kos:

Convicted serial rapist nominated to NFL Hall of Fame—but sitting during song makes you the bad guy

GettyImages-467427238

People like Donald Trump have been worrying their little hands off about San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick’s protest of not standing during the playing of the national anthem. Meanwhile, many NFL executives have trashed Kaepernick.

“I don’t want him anywhere near my team,” one front office executive said. “He’s a traitor.”

A little hyperbolic, but that’s just one guy.

He wasn’t alone in the anger directed toward Kaepernick. In interviews with seven team executives, each said he didn’t want Kaepernick on his team. This is far from scientific, but I believe this is likely the feeling among many front office executives. Not all. But many.

All seven estimated 90 to 95 percent of NFL front offices felt the same way they did. One executive said he hasn’t seen this much collective dislike among front office members regarding a player since Rae Carruth. Remember Rae Carruth? He’s still in prison for the plot to murder his pregnant girlfriend.

As hated as a potential murderer? How about as hated as convicted serial rapist and former NFL defensive back Darren Sharper?

Sharper, 40, who retired from the NFL in 2011 after helping lead the New Orleans Saints to a Super Bowl championship, had pleaded guilty in federal court in Louisiana in May 2015 to distributing controlled substances to three unsuspecting women and then having sex with them while they were incapacitated.

He also pleaded guilty or no contest last year to rape or attempted rape charges involving nine women, including in Arizona, California and Nevada.

There were numerous other women who came forward making very similar claims against Sharper. He’s also been convicted, admitted to conducting these heinous crimes, and is serving an 18-year sentence for them as we speak. Buy that jersey, guys—Sharper has been nominated to the NFL Hall of Fame!

The list of Modern-Era nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame‘s Class of 2017 is comprised of 94 players and coaches. Among the nominees announced are several first-year eligible players including quarterback Donovan McNabb, running back LaDainian Tomlinson, wide receiver Hines Ward and defensive end Jason Taylor.

And Darren Sharper! Good job, NFL. Will he get through to the list of 25? No. He won’t. Why is he being considered? Not sure. Maybe because he stood for all of those national anthems?

*****

Readers: Something is seriously wrong when you have white America praising and rewarding a convicted rapist, yet condemning a man for taking a stance and sitting down in protest to raise awareness about issues and injustices that greatly affect the lives and livelihood of OTWs. Truly sickening.

Comments? Blog me.

/SB: Thanks for the news about France. I always think paying a bit more for my health is worth it. Pay now or pay later. I would rather pay now and hopefully avoid the latter.

On another note, I didn’t hear about Terence Crutcher, but it seems we are on the same page when it comes to the injustice of OTWs. I’m right with you with the broken heart. Another black man senselessly murdered.

  2. Dena Says:

“Can you imagine for a moment? You are driving home. Your car breaks down. You get out. You aren’t sure what’s wrong. You think about your wife. Can she come get you? Can you afford the tow? Can you afford the repair? Its’ September but is still hot as hell. It sucks. Plus, you need to push this 2 ton object off the road. Maybe some kind stranger will come by and offer a helping hand.

Then a helicopter is circling and cops roll up. You didn’t do anything. You didn’t come from anywhere. You don’t have anything on you. Your car just broke down. Then these cops jump out and point weapons at you. No one asks you anything. Can you imagine the terror you must fell? What is going on? What possibly could they think you did? You were just driving home. They approach and they are yelling at you. You are terrified. None of this makes sense. They tell you to put your hands on the car. They haven’t explained themselves. They didn’t come to help you. They didn’t come to figure out what was going on. They came to…… what? Why did they come? You have no idea. You stand there, backing away toward your car. Your hands up and you hear “He isn’t complying.” Wait??? What? Isn’t what? Isn’t complying with what? What are you talking about?!?!

You feel two stings, almost like bug bites, and suddenly electricity is shooting through your body. You are being tazed. Who knows why. You didn’t do anything. You didn’t have anything. You think about your wife. A pain you have never experienced. Your legs give way and you hit the ground.

Then you feel something else you have never felt before. Something horrible. You lay on the ground. Pain. Blood. Fear. On the cold ground while helicopters fly and police surround screaming. You didn’t do anything. You had nothing. You will never see your wife again. Your last moments are surrounded by the “good guys” as you lay bleeding out on hot asphalt next to your car that had the misfortune of breaking.

Now imagine later you get a call. There was an “incident”. Your husband is dead. Do they know who killed him? Yep. Do they know what happened? Yep. Video with sound, multiple angles. Did anyone surround the killer? No. Did anyone make sure the killer complied? No. Did anyone order the killer to drop their weapon? Is the killer in jail? Nope. Is killer on the run? Nope. Are the killer’s whereabouts unknown? Nope. No. We know exactly where the killer is. They just sent them a paycheck.

Paid Leave. Administrative review you must understand. Gotta get all the facts. Can’t rush to judgment. Can’t say someone is bad just from seeing their actions. That would be wrong. Need to know the full story before you take action you see. Gotta do this right. Need to make sure they have time to think and cope before pressing forward. They are home and in bed. They just had a traumatic experience! Gotta make sure they can explain themselves. What about the others? Working I’d guess. Need them on the street. Its their job to arrest people in case there is a crime you know. Gotta make sure they are nearby so killers can be apprehended quickly. Gotta move fast you see. Only way to preserve the truth! There’s a 48 hour rule in homicides dontcha know. In every case but yours. In yours, only way to preserve the truth is to go as slow as possible.

Can you see the tape? Well sure but you must understand the lies your eyes will tell. “Must be a bad dude.” Oh your ears will lie to you too. Who is the bad dude? The killer? No. Your husband. He MUST be a bad dude. He MUST be on something. The killer? Again, home. Paid Leave. Your tax dollars at work. None of your concern.

And then the anthem plays and some jackoff says that you must stand and honor the police who did nothing as your husband lay dying and made sure your husbands killer can pay her bills on time. And if you don’t like it you need to leave cause all lives matter. All, just not your husbands. All, just not you.”

  3. Patricia Says:

SuzyQ, I admire your concern and I have signed the petition. Unfortunately it will be a waste of time because the dirty cops will lie and find a gun or something in his past to suggest violence to give their racists supporters something to claim that is why they are supporting this heinous murder.

  4. Lois Says:

Dena#2. It won’t stop until someone makes the bastards pay the way they understand.

  5. Barry Says:

Cops are the new more convenient lynching trees and they get to watch and laugh at the OTWs having to just accept it as they had the lynching back in the day.

For most of white america it is a new day with the same shit for the OTWs.

  6. Dena Says:

Beautiful write. But you left out the part where he is lying there in a pool of his own blood while the cops let him bleed out. He died in the hospital.

They had to make sure he didn’t live to tell what happened to him especially the part you wrote so well about the terror of being stalked because of the color of his skin.

  7. John Says:

Sorry I meant to put the Dena the way the rest of you do. This was my first write to a blog. I meant Dena#2.

  8. Anonymous Says:

If the white controlled MSM were to be honest with their reporting you would hear every day of a murder of an unarmed OTW by these racist thugs with badges.
    ——————
A 43-year-old black man was fatally shot by police Tuesday afternoon at an apartment complex in Charlotte, North Carolina, sparking protests from members of the community.

The man has been identified by neighbors and family as Keith Lamont Scott. His family says he was disabled.
    http://heavy.com/news/2016/09/keith-lamont-scott-charlotte-north-carolina-police-shooting-daughter-facebook-live-video-brother-officer-name-photos-reading-book/
    ===================
The only solution is to add more Saints to the Black Saints wall. St. Micah Xavier Johnson and Gavin Eugene are waiting for company.

Someone needs to step up. Why are you young bloods willing to die killing each other when there is a Nobler cause awaiting you?

  9. Michael Says:

Shelby was just waiting to earn her “badge of honor” by murdering a black person. Her husband who is also a cop has earned his. He was in the police helicopter and cheering her on.

  10. Helen Says:

Betty Shelby used the standard defenses so she could claim the “get out of charges free” card.

She claimed 1. he tried to put his hands in he pocket while he had his hands in the air —– Oh if that one doesn’t work he reached inside of his car window(wanna bet we don’t get to hear her tell him to get his registration so she had a reason to murder him on film that doesn’t record sound.

Dave Shelby her husband was conveniently in a helicopter recording her earning her “badge of honor.”

  11. Louise Says:

How convenient for Betty that her dashcam video didn’t record her claim that the victim was “not complying.” Unfortunately for her the helicopter was.

So now she needs a new lie to claim she felt in “immediate danger” to justify murdering Terrence Crutcher.

But you can rest assured that whatever lie it takes to get your white friends and associates to smile at you and say “he was a big dude, she could have been just afraid.”

If she is that afraid, then she should take that high school diploma and get another job. Whites don’t seem to mind feeding at the public job spots while they hypocritically claim that the government is too big.

In any event if the citizens of Tulsa are going to be at risk because of the fear of them by a cop, that cop should go.

  12. Derick Says:

Now that she is claiming that Terrence Crutcher was “acting based on drug-training she received on PCP, you know that PCP will be found on in his car and in his system.

Now we can dismiss what our eyes saw watching an unarmed man with his hands in the air. Since her dashcam was conveniently not working we don’t know if he reached into that car because she told him to before she shot him.

  13. Clyde Says:

“On the video, the Tulsa Police Department’s helicopter officers can be heard speaking about Crutcher:

Helicopter officer: “This guy’s still walking, not following commands.”

Second helicopter officer: “Looks like it’s time for a Taser.”

Helicopter officer: “Feeling that’s about to happen.”

Second helicopter officer: “Looks like that’s a bad dude, maybe on something.”

Moments after that conversation in the police helicopter, Shelby fires one shot with her gun as an officer next to her fires a Taser. ”
    ——————————-

Sounds like they coordinated this murder, huh? The bad dudes were in the copter and surrounding Terrance Crutcher on the ground. You think?

  14. Pamela Says:

The latest is she is a “drug recognition expert.” So who are we to doubt that she recognized the behavior of a crazy black dude on PCP?

She had to shoot because she believed that she was in immediate danger.

  15. Pamela Says:

Oh, and they will find PCP. Count on it Derick#12.

  16. Lisa Says:

“Records show she’s had two excessive force complaints. Both were unfounded.”

Tell that to Terrence Crutcher’s family.

  17. Kelly Says:

Michael #9, She had to earn her “badge of honor” because she works to train rookie officers. She needed to show them how tough she was.

Her husband and comrades were there to record her deed in getting it. Rest assured once she is exonerated, the cops will be using it to show how to get away with murder.

  18. Irene Says:

This is the angst of a daughter expressing anger over the murder of her cripple father by the Charlotte, North Carolina police.

    It is so sad.

    http://heavy.com/news/2016/09/lyric-youradorable-scott-charlotte-police-shooting-facebook-live-video-streaming-stream-watch-north-carolina-cops-father-killed-daughter/

  19. Owens Says:

Irene#18, now the anti BLM, racists are saying the cop who shot the nigger was also a nigger.

Who cares if the piece of shit was an uncle tom? It is still the police attitude that murdering an unarmed black man is fine.

  20. Anonymous Says:

True it was a black cop. If the Charlotte police try to cover this up it’s going to be a bad day for law enforcement.

The woman said her father was waiting for his son to get off the school bus, he was reading a book and he is disabled. It was a clear sunny day with no obstructions in view.

The father got out his car twice is that a crime? I think the Officer may have thought it could be the suspect they sought.

I believe he felt his heart race; adrenaline high and elevated, he raced to conclusion and saw danger when it wasn’t there. Now the cover story is feed and it just opens more doors to mistrust, abuse and obstruction at all cost.

This young woman was angry her emotions were high, her father is dead now. She was angry that he was killed for no apparent reason. The area surrounded by lawmen.

These circumstances would make anyone extremely upset, she just watched her father gunned down by the police while he waited for his son, sitting in the family car and reading a book. TOTAL INSANITY!

The police were in the area to serve a warrant. This man was innocent and now his family will deal with the loss. They police acted cold during the whole incident.
Team mental services should have been called for the family.

The family needs to cope with this loss a terrible tragedy and get a good team of lawyers. The police need to be re-trained repeatedly and with follow ups so this doesn’t happen again. He wasn’t even the target, just a citizen minding his business and then bang> bang> bang> bang> lights out.

A point to be made 26 states have open carry laws its imperative law enforcement gets re-trained. If the police are that afraid and resort with deadly force instantly, then it is scary day for everyone.

Some people are cut out for the job some aren’t. If they are that afraid, they need a different job.

2 months ago a young black man was shot by a cop in Charlotte 4 times He was unarmed the officer asked for his driver’s license as he was standing outside his parked SUV.

The driver’s door was open parked in a gas station parking lot, he says ok. He reaches in for the wallet. The officer screams at him charging at him gun pointed and firing multiple time at the man.

“Yes he was black and the cop white.” The man’s hands raise quickly upward he’s shot, his hands are up he falls backwards, hands are still up and the cop fires 2 more rounds 1 round as he lay on the ground. This kid was lucky to be ALIVE.

Here the sick part he asks what did I do why did you shoot me? You didn’t have your seat belt on, are you hit. Yes, I’m sorry. He apologizes to the cop for shooting him. WOW!

  21. Mary Says:

This is just another instance where the fact-free conservatives deflect the reality of a situation to fit the mold of whatever agenda makes them feel self righteous?

  22. Joey Says:

Irene#18, I listened to that foul mouth black nigger bitch. I cant understand her point. This foul mouthed, illiterate is the reason we need more police and less talk about rights.

Can someone count how many times she said mf in an hour. Needs to at least respect her mom by not calling her a mother f*ckeror talking about her mf car.

Obviously we have a real racist situation from her family calling out what she really stands for as in coons and white mf’ers, bitches etc. .

Calling police coons and ugly ass bitches isn’t the way to get respect. Earn it!

  23. Hannah Says:

Joey#22, People need to remember that she just witnessed her father get killed. The man wasnt carrying a gun. It was in his car and futhermore he wasnt even the suspect they needed for the arrest warrant so why did they even mess with him.

It was completely unneccessary for the police to do this and her anger is completely understandable. I would love to see how some of you would react if this was your father or loved one. The point is that the police were wrong, Period.

  24. Robert Says:

Irene#18, I listened to her angst for about an hour. I could bare to listen anymore when they broke into tears. I can’t imagine the suffering she is experiencing.

Imaging knowing that your loved one can be murdered and there is affectively noting you can do about it because the murders are the establishment that condones the murders of your people.

How is this different than when it was a misdemeanor to kill a black person? Actually it is has improved it for them because now they can murder and not have to worry about getting the misdemeanor charge.

  25. Anonymous Says:

Joey#22, So if your father was murdered by police how would you respond? Would you think to be respectful?

Would you say…”Pardon me dear sweet officers of the law, per chance might you tell me how my lovely father was mutilated”? I was surprised that she didn’t completely lose it.

You’re heartless piece of shit that lacks every bit of compassion.

  26. Jerry Says:

just another reason for niggers to bitch more.

  27. Eric Says:

You’re right we should stop bitching and start retaliating…..

  28. Anonymous Says:

A time to kill. This will be the last one without mass murder. I don’t give a f*ck anymore. I’ll go first.

  29. Michelle Moquin's "A day in the life of…" » Blog Archive » Another Black Man Murdered by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, NC Says:

[…] Social Butterfly: I read more on Terrence Crutcher. I am so sad and disgusted over this, and disheartened with humanity. The Family is seeking criminal charges. I signed. But will this help? After checking out the news headlines we can read, the murder of black men continue. […]
