My Two And I’m Out Of Here
Posted by Michelle Moquin on March 4th, 2009
Helloo…
I have some very important things to handle this morning that are priority over anything else so I am going to chime in briefly, give my two where I want to, and let you all carry on if you so desire.
ZL: Oh, yes it can be..scary thought. I would love to chat with you via phone today and I might be able to later, but this morning I am crazy busy.
Gloria: If you want to stand behind your man, I don’t have an issue with that. That is your choice. I made that comment to Suz because she is a racist and called me a lesbian, which hey, there is nothing wrong with being a lesbian, but no…I am not a lesbian. But calling me one, because I support women and stand beside my man as an equal, refusing to stand behind my man, is not the definition of a lesbian, but the definition of a strong woman; a ‘real’ woman.
Tell me, are you racist too? Or do you offer pro bono work too, when you see the OTW’s losing their rights to your ‘beloved’ whites? I didn’t think so.
In addition Gloria, and I’ll address anon #11 also: Look at what happens when serial killers are finally caught. His friends and family are always so surprised when they find out he has been killing for years. They say such things as: ”Oh, he was such a nice church going man, gave and supported the homeless, paid his rent on time, quiet, never gave anyone trouble – a perfect citizen…etc. etc.”
No matter how many wonderful things that this man did in his daily life, no matter how wonderful he was on the outside….still does not take away the simple fact that he is a serial killer. How a person shows him or herself publicly is not necessarily who they are privately.
Anon#7: I like Anon # 9′s answer but I will add. I don’t know about James Madison or Thomas Jefferson, nor would I venture to speak for them, but I have a feeling that our *Alexander Hamilton would agree with Obama, and if you have been reading my blog and reading the comments from *AH, you might think so too. I don’t want to speak for AH; maybe he will have a chance to tell you himself.
Have a beautiful day!
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle

FEMA under bush paid their cronies running Blackwater $73 million dollars to help the people of New Orleans after Katrina. Do some research and you will find that the bush boys used every opportunity to make huge profits for their cronies. Anonz gave us a peep into the fraud and theft of the people’s money the bush boys were looting.

I was watching Morning Joe this morning. Isn’t it interesting that all these white men come on telling us what is wrong with Pres. Obama’s attempt to fix the economy. They all claim to know how to fix the economy, now. They claim to know why the marketing is tanking and what to do to fix it.
Where were these “wise” men when bush and the republicans were f**king up the economy. You hear these, market people, the pundits that make their living getting people to trust and pay them for market investment advice.
Why should we listen to them tell us why the market is tanking because of something Pres. Obama is doing when they couldn’t warn their investors about the tank that was coming because of bush’s f**ked up financial policies.
The reason may be because they too were making money hand over fist because of the unregulated financial environment.
The white men on all these news programs are desperately looking for “the voice” of the republican party. White america is so afraid that the voice of the great white father will be but a whisper in the ears of America if this black man does what the other 43 white men couldn’t – make America live up to the promise of the constitution- A government of the by the people for the people.
Who really gives a flying f**k about a party that for 32 of the last 38 years has had its way with the laws, judges, taxes and health of the people. What do they have to show for it.
Inept protection of the country(9/11), moral hypocrisy(every preacher they put before us as an example of their moral leadership he turns out to be a drug taking closet gay. Noting against gays is intended here. I just mean to point out the hypocrisy of these lying sacks of shits who claim to be anti gay while sucking d**k at every opportunity. I guess if you don’t have a big one, you can get by with sucking a bunch of little ones.
One day we will find out that Rush is a flaming queen. Look at him even without gaydar, it is obvious that this is a sweet fat gay boy.

Hi Mischa, just got in so sorry no call today, another busy AM but I will be avail afternoon tomorrow to talk, how about you?
Helena, I wrote a blog entry during the summer on Blackwater, Katrina is the least of this companies cash flow, unbelievable and the man who runs it does his banking in the Cayman Islands, nice…
So many anonymouses and no time for me to take notes on anon #’s to address them, and I hate to spend any time on Rush but I’ll only say this, he’s a windbag no matter what his weight or sexual orientation is. I listened for 15 today and well, he’s getting paid big bucks for promoting repug divisiveness, not that it doesn’t exist without him anyway, (note any of ‘George’s’ statements here as well as a few other repug men and women) – all the ‘ism’s’ are thriving in the US. Rush probably voted for Obama, he’s made his living very viable for the next 4 years.
As far as where women and men ‘stand’ I hear behind me is a coveted position, hahaha, but whether I stand beside, behind, or in front of, I had better be offered the proper respect/equality or said man would find himself alone bc I won’t be around to be found…

Has anyone noticed that Obama’s biggest detractors are also the people who have the most to LOSE if his efforts succeed?
If Obama succeeds, Rush Limbaugh will be shown to be the big no-nothing blowhard he has been his entire life.
If Obama succeeds, every talking head that has ever spoken out against him will be proven absolutely wrong.
If Obama succeeds, 40 recalcitrant Republican Senators will be shown to be against any progress for the average American citizen.
There are many people who have spent the past eight years praising the efforts of Bush and Company, and it behooves them to do everything they can to keep any recovery from happening at the hamds of Democrats.
Frankly, I STILL feel they should ALL be tarred and feathered.

In addition to placing blame where it belongs (Bush, Cheney, Rove, Phil Gramm, et al) it is important that we fight to change the policies that got us here
the deregulation, the lack of oversight, the standards that were meant to protect us that were removed..need to be addressed
also the currency trading, the derivatives with no intrinsic value, the Madoffs, the SEC’s lack of response, the predatory lending
Everyone who posts here should contact their representatives at federal and state levels to tell them so..these issues need to be corrected
then confidence will return to the economic sector..we can be both the financial and moral leaders again

Karl Rove taught his Party well and throughout his history, beginning in college, was the author of dirty deals and ‘whisper campaigns.’ He did it to get GW elected Governor of Texas. Remember Mark White who ran for Governor, Anne Richards, Don Siegelman, his swiftboating of Senator Max Cleland of Georgia, even John McCain? The man has ruined many a political career. The list goes on..
The Republican party is a pathetic shadow of what it once was. It’s hard to understand a party that would rather see this country fail then support or even give this new presidents a chance. It is just amazing that the party that supported the failed policies of GW for eight years, now has all the answers! I also find it ironic that this party making all the noises about earmarks, have the same amount as the Democrats with a Republican Governor having the most. Another Rove tactic??
George Bush should have been impeached. He, Rove, and Cheney belong in jail.

We all must keep the pressure on to make Bush- Rove- Cheney & CO testify under oath.
The country deserves at least that much. Push the Obama Adm to do it asap ! No delays.
Another crook was given TV time last week – Tom Delay- sneering, misstating, smearing Obama-
and no one really corrected his lies or told us what really happened during Bush / Cheney’s reign.
Cable news has become ‘ spineless’ with the exception of Wolf Blitzer. who gets in some good follow ups. But the so called Hardball show- now has ‘soft balls ‘ Same for Larry Kings recent interviews with former White House ‘crooks’ The GOP can spin their way out of anything. We let them frame the argument..like Newt asking “What kind of a country do we want ” My answer-
NOT THE ONE WE’VE HAD for all these years under GOP rule. GOP policy has crushed this
country with massive greed & deregulation policy, that led us to disaster. We want a govt that
cares for it’s people.- not just fat cats. .

It would help if more people, in fact every one who blogs on here would email their complaints to the networks for letting the rogue, lying thieves who ran this country into the ground have voices on any media outlet. They’ll listen when there are no audience to buy the products they advertize. The sorry media exects showered Obama with good words for a couple days, and then began pitching manure.

Why is it that many white men who are pundits, TV anchors, news talk show host, politicians, etc can say proudly that they enjoy watching Rush? They often say they don’t agree with what he is saying, but they feel no backlash coming by saying they ENJOY watching Rush.
Now if an OTW says he or she enjoy listening to Rev. wright they will be crucified by the media. Why because white men have no problem insulting others. While demanding the right to cry foul, or unamerican if they feel insulted in any way.

I’m with you Robert. A white low life radio talk host can challenge a black President of the United States to a debate and white men in every news media will take it seriously and air it incessantly.
Yet, black congressman can challenge a white President’s abuse of his executive authority and be ignored by most of the media because “it is the President he is challenging.”
White men are continually trying to perpetuate the idea that any white man is better than any OTW no matter who the OTW is.
