Sunday’s A Wrap
Posted by Michelle Moquin on May 31st, 2009
At least for me in terms of voicing my opinion, that is. My lips are sealed. At least for today :). But please, as usual, feel free to carry on, although blogsville here always seems to be slow on Sunday, which is fine with me.
Here’s an adorable photo. It put a smile on my face. I hope that it does for you too.
This little boy wanted to see if the president’s hair felt like his.
– cute huh?
*************
Doug: And I speak loudly too.
Zen Lill: Who gives a fuck? If people want to give you a beating for giving your two, who cares. It’s just another opinion, and yours is just as important as anyone else who gives theirs. I don’t think many express their thoughts freely here, and really care what any one else thinks or they wouldn’t say half of what they say. Carry on girlfriend. Everyone else does :)
No Name TAO: I agree with you; a delicious picture was painted.
Robert: As always, good to hear from you. And as usual you always have something of importance to add that is enlightening. Thanks for pointing out and clarifying what exactly setting a precedent in a law case means; simply and clearly.
PS: Sorry for the late post. We are having major electrical problems in our house and internet is once again, off and on.
Signing off….peace out.
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle

Robert,
As cleanly as you put it, would I paint it like this?
Constitution Law, that is written, decreed and subjugated in the United States is created by the Judicial Branch, Administrative actions to those laws and maintaining those laws while representing the subjects, are done by the Legislative Branch. This then gives the Presidential Branch the elected leadership position to manage and facilitate the actions and decisions of the other two branches of government.

Hello Blog, my name is Klatu, a lonely alien from out of town. I am here on vacation. I have found Earth to be a most hospitable planet.
Found Michelle’s blog with the help of my battery powered, portable, pocketsized Blogometer.
My recently calibrated blogometer rates this blog as numero uno due to it’s hostess Michelle and her efforts to accomodate her readers. Blogometer gives high readings on the appreciation scale.
Sundays can be so damn boring on this planet, think I might head to Miami to see some friends. Earth have a fantastic afternoon :)
Al, I mean Klatu (oops)

Nice, Al. Klaatu(2 a’s)…the day the earth stood still…you might upgrade to the solar powered blogometer…

Doug, I read your constitutional law thing. I don’t get it. Who exactly is doing what? And how does it relate to whether a judge is making policy?
My take on what Robert said is that a federal judge makes policy whenever he makes law by one of his rulings.
Is that right? How does your other branches fit in? I always feel so out of it when the office chatter turns to politics.

The republican party doesn’t have to worry about offending the latino community. My latino male relatives and friends are too busy being macho to worry about a latino woman being dissed. Besides being republican is so macho. It makes our tiny weenies feel so BIG.

The battle for the supreme court is the other way for the right to get a dictatorship. They thought they could get it by stealing elections. That is still going on on so many levels.
They lock up OTWs at ever increasing levels. They do this to keep them out of the voting group. They manipulate the vote by stuffing the vote counters and regulators with republicans who will chuck our OTWs and white demo votes.
They hopped to stuff the Supreme Court via republican presidents. Now they hope to do it through republicans in the senate. The bigoted states who elect their representatives based on their racism allow them to do anything despicable without concern for the reaction of their electorate.
Hence they will call Sonia Sotomayor any disgusting thing they can conjure up.
I’m white, but my advice to OTWs is to get armed, because they can not count on a white controlled government to protect them in a pinch.
The jews in Germany thought they could count on their government or white lead other world governments to protect them and we all know how that went.
American OTWs seem to think that they can count on us “good” white people to come to their aid. I would never condone the racist intent of the fanatical white relatives and friends I know.
But If I were an OTW, I wouldn’t count on me for their safety. The Japanese American did; the blacks did; OTWs who live in states like Texas who are systematically discriminated against as they travel its highways by racists thugs with badges with the authority to stop them via profiling did.
The racist police use their badges and laws of their states to confiscate any valuable possessions and money the OTWs have. If they resist they are arrested on trumped up charges and forced to make plea bargains to get less time for those charges and convicted. They know that they can’t beat the charge because they will be judged by white jurors who are racists waiting to lock up OTWs for any alleged reason.
Imagine living in america and having to do it under those conditions every day of their lives. I live in the south and we don’t “mix” with the coloreds. They know better than to try to move into our neighborhoods.
I am ashamed at the stories i hear every day from the mouths of my fellow whites in positions that allow them to discriminate. They do it and wear their behavior as as badge of honor.
You OTWs can’t count on the likes of me to save you from a country that acts behind Congressional representatives that scream “white male discrimination” at every opportunity.
The aim of the racists is to divide and conquer. That means dividing the OTWs so that they are fighting among themselves for the little bones we throw them. It also means dividing the OTWs from whites like me who do not have a racist bone in our bodies.
We deploy the behavior of the minority of whites who use racism to enrich
themselves via the racism of their constituents or customers. We too are constantly being bombarded by the republicans telling us that we are becoming the new minority in the country we founded. We are constantly being told that our religion is under siege by the OTWs. The sometimes not so subtle implication is that OTWs are criminals, satanists, and their men are a huge threat to the safety of our women.
We are put under a lot of peer pressure to support our fellow whites even if a few become a little “too” zealous. We are told we have to keep in mind that they are acting to protect our way of life and our precious white women. I have all but given up being publicly vocal about my feelings.
I now try to express myself via my secret vote. I also use the net to anonymously voice my concerns. I have no OTW friends but I work with several. My advice get a gun and learn how to use it. In a national emergency your greatest threat will come from the armed government police force not from the rabble that may start the government’s need to declare marshall law.

Kay Hutchison, republican US senator from Texas, is one of those examples of white women who blindly follow the racist men.
She is presently planning to run for governor of Texas. She is being disparaged as a woman by her republican opponent who is male. So she is a victim too of white male bashing women.
Yet she follows the white man’s opinion down the line. So of course she will vote not to seat Sotomayor.

I checked in on John King’s CNN Sunday program. Your blogger was right. King is a republican flunky pretending to be unbiased. He provides a platform for sick slick republicans to put forward a platform justifying their racist comrades statements and attacks.

Fatima you are dead on about Kay Hutchinson. She will run for the governor of Texas. Texas is a state where white males have rigged it so that they get the now to be a choice for the citizens to choose from for their state a federal representatives.
They do this by dividing us hispanics. you will be surprised how many hispanic men will accept the bashing of women. There are as many tiny weenie hispanic boys as there are white boys and they too are republicans. Maybe the qualification to be republican is not to be white but to have a tiny weenie.

Count on my representative McConnell to vote against that racist bitch.

Joseph you nailed John King. Listen to how he proposes his questions to his mostly white men guests. He works very hard to emphasize that Sotomayor is accused of discriminating against white men.

In America the “christians” are killing and/or supporting doctor killers who do not agree with their position on abortion. Here is what happen to their latest victim.
Dr. George Tiller was serving as an usher in the foyer of his church Sunday when he was killed by one. He was called a mass murder by one of their spokesmen.
i am anti abortion but I don’t believe that killing is the way to advance our agenda.

The car companies can’t compete because the republicans force then to pay insurance companies as middle men for their employees insurance coverage. Unless we get single payer insurance without insurance companies as middle men businesses that compete with international competition for customers here and abroad can’t do it.
Those companies have government supported health care. Hence it is not a big part of their operating costs.
June 1st, 2009 at 6:34 am
Grab your wallets. The crooks are padding the cost of a barrel of oil again. The want to drive it up to $100 a barrel. Let’s hope Obama can force the car companies to produce cars that get much better gas milage, and cars that use alternate fuels.

I agree with you Sally. The insurance companies tell the people what they will pay for. Often the coustomer dosen’t find out about the fine print until they get sick and need it most.
The republicans keep feeding the american people the propaganda that they don’t need government telling them what doctors to choose and what they can and can not get medically.
But that is just what the insurance companies who the republicans are whores for do. They tell us every day what doctors we can go to and what we are entitled to medically.
Who would you like controlling your health costs? a government who has to answer to your vote or accountant working for an insurance company answerable only to his insurance boss?

Rhoda, I am for a woman’s right to choose. I don’t see any difference between pro lifers who kill, or incite others to kill, or support those who do either and the Muslim fanatics who do the same in the name of religion.

Whites want every american to have an equal opportunity without affirmation action because that keeps them with the benefits they got using it. Affirmation action that gave them those positions against all OTWs. It is very white of them to now say the law should give no advantage to anyone now that I have had the law give me all the advantages. VERY white of them.
June 1st, 2009 at 7:06 am
That should be some or many but certainly not ALL whites want every American to have an opportunity without affirmative action because that keeps them with the benefits they got using it.
I’m white and I believe the country could use some affirmative action to bring some parity to the the advantages we enjoy as a result of our manipulation of government to give them to us.
