Quote of the week from a man out of touch.

Posted by michellemoquin on September 16th, 2008

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7CRDSZ3Pl4&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&fs=1]

So…how’s everyone doing out there? I am particularly asking those that have been struck by yesterday’s financial disaster:

‘The Dow Jones industrial average lost more than 500 points, more than 4 percent, its steepest point drop since the day the stock market reopened after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.  About $700 billion evaporated from retirement plans, government pension funds and other investment portfolios.’

Lehman brothers has filed the largest bankruptcy in American history and Merrill Lynch was rescued by Bank Of America. And one man says the economy is doing great. Ahhh…okay.

Although Greenspan says this is the worse economy he has even seen,  McCain has the audacity to say that the fundamentals of the economy are still strong. Wha’at?!  What planet is he on?….And more succinctly as Obama asked, Sen. McCain, what economy are you talking about?’ Yeah, what economy is he talking about?  The economy of the top 4%; the big wig earners?  Certainly not the everyday average person, and certainly not all of the people whose retirements plans and pension funds have evaporated.

Open your eyes. What world does McCain live in? Does he not realize that inflation is rising, real wages are declining, and that people are still foreclosing on their homes?  Oh yeah…remember, he said that he was ‘out of touch’

‘It’s easy for me to be in Washington and frankly be somewhat divorced from the day-to-day challenges people have.’

-Sen. John McCain

If you ask me, there is no excuse for him to be out of touch. Not while he’s in the running for the presidential position. I bet McCain wishes he never opened his mouth on that one. Well, we can certainly count on a few more ‘priceless and enlightening quotes’ for the text books…He didn’t lie when he said the economy isn’t something he understands as well as he should. You got that right John. You’ve proven that.

Sen. McCain, what more will you reveal to us in the coming weeks?

Readers:  Any of you hit personally by this? Comments? Thoughts? Rants? Blog me.

Gratefully your blog host,

    Zen Lill

Azir is a typical “enlightened” muslim male who knows that islam deprives women of equality in every aspect of their lives. But these males don’t care. Rather they seek to keep the status quo by arguing everything else.

Allah never said any of the shit in the koran. It was a book written by a pedophile named Muhammad in or about 610 in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

I do not exaggerate or seek to defile this military genius by calling him a pedophile. His history speaks for itself. He took a six year old girl as a bride. They justify this by saying that he did not have marital sex (rape her) until she was nine.

Ask any of these “enlightened” men about this and they use Muhammad waiting until she was nine as a justification of continuing to make this man their most holy of saints. They do this to justify their on continue practice of pedophilia.

These are men who don’t have the skills or the desire to woo a woman at any level. They want to continue forcing female children and young women into marrying whomever their male “god appointed masters” tell them to.

Muslim men are the most pathetic men on the planet. They are sleazy pedophiles that give healthy men the creeps. Muslim men and their religion of pedophilia are tolerated by the rest of the world because of their hold on the world’s supply of oil.

When the energy crisis is settled, they and their practice of forcing women into sexual slavery will be ostracized. Azir presents his argument for the acceptance of islam as a “good” religion as if its encouragement of the enslavement of women is but a side issue of islam. But for that “small” issue, islam is wonderful he implies.

That’s like arguing; but for the fact that the USA’s South enslavement of OTWs and its continued practice of discriminating against OTWs it is the land of God, America’s bible belt. Tell that to the tens of millions of people who have suffered at the hands of these devout whites.

Evil is often practiced in the name of God. That does not make it any less evil. However, those that practice evil that is so obviously evil on the face of it have to use some godly backing to continue their justification in the face of its self-evident wrongness.

The koran’s insistence that a man is appointed more equal than a woman is presented as a god said thing to justify the practice of muslim men being able to control females. It could not be justified any other way. More importantly the religion would not have any holding power on its followers if were not for this “present” to its male followers.

The women are held prisoners of this cult by the cult’s further edict that the koran says it is proper for anyone preaching against its teachings to be killed. And that anyone who wishes to leave islam as a religion can be killed by any muslim. Its actual meaning is if a woman tries to leave the oppressive cult she will be killed.

Yet men like Azir continue to advocate the practice of this cult because it benefits their desire to continue the availability of females for their sexual pleasure.

Madaline called it accurately when she said that these men are so sensitive to how the world treats them and their perceived needs, yet they could care less about the needs of their female population.

Hypocrisy is their true religion. Ask Azir why doesn’t he spend as much time trying to change the “equal equity” he says the koran grants women to equal equality. Sounds strange doesn’t it? Why because it is nonsense. Equality is what it is on the face. There is no such thing as almost equality when defining equality. Either you are or you aren’t. the US Supreme Court said so when it ruled that there is no such thing as “separate but equal.”

Ask Azir why muslim men need to use the koran to force women into accepting being forced into “arranged” marriages. You can reprint my comments if you wish.

FASTING CAN BE A FAST FIX FOR BODY AND SOUL

Fasting to enhance your health is an ancient practice, supposedly recommended by Socrates, Plato and Hippocrates. Going without food for a prescribed period also has a rich spiritual tradition, while on a far less profound level assorted fasts or “detox programs” are popular in certain fashionable circles. It’s a controversial issue, so when I encountered a research study examining the effects of calorie restriction, I set off on my own quest for enlightenment on the health benefits of fasting. Here’s what I learned…
    ENERGY THROUGH DETOXIFICATION
“Fasting is the single greatest healing therapy I know — with detoxification, it is the missing link in Western nutrition,” I was told by Elson Haas, MD, a specialist in family medicine, nutrition and detoxification and author of The New Detox Diet (Celestial Arts). Dr. Haas is founder and director of the Preventive Medical Center of Marin, an integrated health care facility in San Rafael, California. Dr. Haas says these practices help people feel more vital, creative and open to emotional and spiritual energies.
We discussed the different types of diets, including the fast, and talked about how they work. Most stringent, said Dr. Haas, is the “water fast,” which is exactly what it sounds like: no food, no juice, nothing but water — and he doesn’t recommend it. More than a day may in fact prove dangerous, though some spiritual disciplines continue to use it. Safer and more common is to diet by limiting yourself to the juices of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as herbal teas, said Dr. Haas, noting this regimen has been popularized as calorie restriction and liquid-only diets. “Fresh juices are easily digested so the nutrients they supply are quickly absorbed,” he explained. “This kind of fast stimulates the body to clear wastes. Juice fasting is safer than water fasting, since it supports the body nutritionally while cleansing.”
    MICE ON DETOX DIETS
Where previous animal studies have shown that calorie restriction boosts longevity, a recent series of research studies adds a bit of additional weight to the health claims by fasting advocates. Researchers at the University of California at Berkeley tested different kinds of fasts on mice, alternating between fast days and the non-fast (“feast”) days, when they could eat however much they wanted. Lead researcher Krista Varady, PhD, told me that certain fasting male mice showed reduced cell proliferation rates, including prostate cell proliferation, and reduced insulin-like growth factor IGF-1, which has been linked to various forms of cancer, including breast and prostate cancers.
There were four groups of mice, including a control group. One group was given nothing but water on alternate days… a second group got 50% of their normal caloric intake… and a third group ate 25% of their usual calories. The control group ate normally. Benefits correlated to fasting, with the most notably reduced cell proliferation rate seen in the most restricted — the water-fasters. But since all three test groups showed some reduction over four weeks, Dr. Varady concluded that “the research showed that you can consume about 25% of your food on alternate days — about one meal a day — and still get some benefit.”
    FASTING MENUS
Dr. Varady’s fasting mice did not eat any special food on their calorie-reduced days but humans on a “detox” program usually do — and should, Dr. Haas emphasizes. Like most other health professionals, Dr. Haas starts a detox plan by having his patients eliminate sugar, nicotine, alcohol, caffeine and chemicals (he calls it the “SNACC” program). After a week of this, he suggests following a simple diet consisting of one piece of fruit, one daily bowl (about a half-cup dry) of cooked whole grains (millet, brown rice, amaranth, quinoa or oatmeal), plus two to four heaping bowls of steamed vegetables eaten throughout the day — he calls this the “Detox Diet.” “People who are fatigued or just feel they need protein can add three or four ounces of fish, poultry or beans without any reduction of benefits,” he noted. This phase typically lasts a week or even two, and then people may slowly begin to add back more of their normal daily foods.
Other kinds of detox programs are variations of a juice fast, often involving a mix of vegetable juices and fruit juice smoothies, with optionally added protein powder. “Adding protein powder to your smoothies is especially important for those who don’t want to lose weight, for athletes who don’t want to lose muscle mass and for anyone with hypoglycemia or low blood sugar issues,” Dr. Haas said. It’s also okay to use milk made from rice, almonds or oats as a base for your smoothie, instead of fruit juice. Dr. Haas’ book features a basic formula for smoothies — one cup of liquid plus one cup of fresh or frozen fruit, plus whatever supplements you want or need to add, including ground flaxseed, wheat germ or fish oil. Also, he says he often adds green powders with grasses and algae.
    THIS JUST IN
As we were going to press, a paper was presented at the 2007 annual meeting of the American Heart Association in Orlando that seems to place another feather firmly in the fasting cap. Researchers examined the heart X-rays (called angiograms) of more than 4,000 male and female patients who participated in an ongoing study from 1994 through 2002, called the Intermountain Heart Collaborative Study. They found that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon faith) were significantly less likely to have coronary artery disease. Researchers have long known that Mormons are less likely to die of heart disease than the general population, but that’s generally been attributed to the fact that they don’t smoke. In this study, however, researchers controlled for the smoking factor and still found less coronary heart disease among Mormons. They devised a questionnaire to identify other healthy habits among the subjects and found that fasting was the strongest predictor of lower risk for heart disease. Mormons traditionally fast at least one day a month as part of their religion.
    PROCEED WITH CAUTION
Fasting for the purpose of detoxifying is not without its risks — and should never be undertaken without medical supervision. This recommendation becomes all the more important as health challenges become more complex or profound. For instance, naturopathic physician Sonja Pettersen, NMD, told me that people who have been exposed to extremely toxic chemicals such as Agent Orange, for example, in Vietnam War veterans, may encounter difficulties with stringent detoxification since toxins remain stored in fat until they are pulled out by such a program. “These should only be released under medical supervision,” she warned. She also cautions that fasting is not appropriate for people with insulin-dependent diabetes, since it is so critical to keep blood sugar even.
While maintaining that commercial detox products are profit driven and are of limited general value, Daily Health News contributing medical editor Andrew L. Rubman, ND, agrees that “there are benefits of incorporating some principles of a restricted diet into your daily life.” His opinion is that strict and structured regimens are usually unnecessary, since maintaining a healthy system is really as simple as merely cutting back on a regular basis. “Reducing your caloric intake every other day — or even for a week or so — may allow your body to unburden itself a bit,” he said. He says that water-only and juice-only regimens should not be instituted unless medically necessary and supervised.
Because fasting, whether in the form of calorie restriction or for detoxifying, represents such a dramatic change from the way most of us eat, it can be a challenge. Best advice: If you want to give it a go, try it for a day or so and work up to a longer period. “Detoxification can be intense and it may temporarily increase symptoms of sickness for some people,” noted Dr. Haas. “But it can also be immediately helpful and uplifting.”

    Sweetness:

Its been interesting reading my sexy babe doing her thing on her blog. I’m definitely feeling special being your “sweet pea.”

Just thought I’d tell you this dividing up the spoils is just the bush billionaires making sure they get theirs before he leaves office. They are not sure that the republican party can steal another Presidency so they are carving up the lead financial institutions so that they can pressure any new administration into accepting their demands.

Lehman had to go because most of the billionaires that were part of it had ties to the democratic party. The bush boys decided to throw them to the wolves to force Merile Lynch to capitulate to a buyout by Bank of America.

Bank of America is really owned by the NationsBank Corporation. It is a neonazi organization that was organized to conquer the world using money rather than tanks. They were behind getting the republicans to deregulate banks so that they could own branches outside the state. It was one of many deregulations designed to control the world’s finances.

We targeted several huge banks for eventual acquisition. This was a strategy set up via five year bench marks. With the eventual goal being the total control of the major monetary investment companies in the US, Europe, South America, Asia and the rest of the world.

Our philosophy being that if you control the money, you are three quarters towards controlling the world. Add religion and sex and the rest is meaningless.

The only way to gain control of the major investment institutions in the US would be to allow one company to acquire the competition. That was illegal at the time because of regulations that prevented banks from competing across state lines and the complications presented by US laws against having a simultaneous vertical and horizontal of an industry or business.

The answer was deregulation. So the republican party was ordered to start a propaganda spiel that government was the reason that the people were having problems. Whatever the problem the republican party was ordered to fine a reason to blame government. Hence, the republican “less government” is better mantra was formed.

Actually what we really meant was more government, only in our favor. We wanted to use government to enact policies that would allow us to take over every major investment institution in the US. To do that we had to control all means of financial enrichment that the average person in American had to make money.

We started out with his retirement. We created IRAs, and other forms of retirement investments for the average American. First we had to undermine the company investment vehicles that were in existence. We did this by getting our republican and democratic partners to pass legislation that weaken or removed safeguards against company manipulation of their retirement funds.

Without police the crooks will do what crooks do, commit crimes. Hence the deregulation(removal or police) of the retirement funds by companies produced the needed crisis for us to have our legislators propose alternative retirement options for the average person to use. All of which would be controlled by us.

Now we needed to deregulate the banking industry to allow across state lines banking and to remove safeguards against who could actually own a bank. Regean was the bought and paid for vehicle for this.

With this deregulation(removal of the police) crooks did what crooks will do. But I get ahead of my self. To arrange this we had to deregulate the oil industry, the mortgage industry(a trial balloon was floated in this area in Texas under the first Bush – no one went to jail so we went national under the second Bush), and the insurance industry. All of these are huge books unto them selves.

World domination via control of the chief financial institutions of the world was a carefully planned 20 year goal. It had 5 year bench marks that were met on time except for the 8 year stench by Clinton. That’s why we went after him so hard. Many of his democratic party were bought and paid for. However most were recruited because they were committed bigots like me. People who genuinely believe that we were better than other people because we were white, gods chosen people. Basically we were nazis with Jesus rather than Hitler as our leader. The Mormon church was initially chosen as the religious vehicle to carry us through our religious justification of the subjugation of the OTWs. But we met with such resistance by the racists factions of the south because their own religious roots had provided such comfort for their own bigotry that we had to relent.

That too is another long story. After taking control of Bank of America through a series of skillful manipulations of its CEOs and its investment policies, it was used as the vehicle to control the western half of the US financial acquisitions. The largest being Seafirst of Seattle, then Security Pacific National Bank at the time the largest bank acquisition in history.

Deregulation of the oil industry allowed more banks to fail and we had choices as to which ones we wanted to take control of. The largest being Continental Illinois Bank and Trust of Chicago. The government had control of it for about 10 years. We used the government to control it until we had Bank of America in place for the acquisition. The tax payers funded it until it was financially healthy enough for us to take control of it

In 2000 we set about the acquisition of other financial institutions that would complete our control of all major investment capital in the US. Acquisitions such as Louisville, Kentucky based National Processing Company, Boston Massachusetts based FleetBoston Financial. Now we had moved into the northeastern markets of the US.

We also went after Acquisitions in Europe and South America and consolidated our US control with the acquisition of The United States Trust Company and ABN AMRO North America, LaSalle Bank Corporation. Thus securing firm control of the financing in the Netherlands.

Deregulating(removing the police) the mortgage industry allowed crooks to do what crooks will do without the presence of police and this allowed B of A to take control of Countrywide Financial.

Deregulating( removing the police) the investment industry allowed crooks to do what crooks will do without the presence of police and this allowed B of A to take control of Merrill Lynch & Co, Inc. It acquired the entire company with spending a single penny of real cash. It was an all-stock deal worth about $50 Billion.

Ahhh, isn’t Less Government beautiful. Imagine McCain may still pull off the white house using it. If the a city mayor said that he was going to remove the police from his city’s streets because he believed the people could work better together without government interference, he would be removed as a crazy fool.

But when their republican politicians say they are going to remove the police from wall street for the same reasons, the same people reward them with reelection. so ladies when you man starts bragging that he knows more than you and he starts quoting Our mantra that “less government is better,” you tell him, “yeah like less police on the streets is better.

Without government protection the rich and powerful will run rampant and trample the rights, wishes, and dreams of the less financially fortunate.

But that’s just this billionaire’s opinion

Scammed! Don’t Let What Happened to These Victims Happen to You

    Audri Lanford, PhD
    ScamBusters.org

Con artists are constantly coming up with creative new ways to scam unsuspecting people out of their money. Last year, Bottom Line/Personal ran the stories of real-life victims of scams (May 1, 2006). Since then, new scams and sophisticated twists on old scams have claimed new victims.

Here are more true stories of scam victims and the lessons we can learn from them…
    GIFT CARD FRAUD
Lisa, a senior citizen in the Midwest, purchased Wal-Mart gift cards for her eight grandchildren last Christmas. When her grandkids tried to use them, they were told that the cards had little or no balance remaining. Lisa returned to the store and demanded that the mistake be corrected, but she was told there was no mistake — the money on the gift cards had already been spent. Only after an hour of arguing with Wal-Mart managers was her money refunded.
Lisa learned later that in the weeks before the holidays, criminals snuck handheld gadgets known as “skimmers” into stores and used them to scan the unique ID codes from gift cards’ magnetic strips. The thieves then called the gift card toll-free number to find out which cards had been purchased — and thus activated. They also could have checked the balances of the cards and then used the stolen codes to shop on-line. They even could have purchased other gift cards for $5 each and then used simple technology to reprogram them with the stolen unique ID numbers and spent the balances.
Lesson: In any store, don’t buy the gift cards displayed on store racks. Ask at the customer service desk whether there are any cards kept behind the counter, out of customers’ — and criminals’ — reach. Make sure any packaging has not been tampered with. Keep your receipt, and tell the recipients of your gift cards that they should let you know if there’s a problem using the cards.
    LATEST LOTTERY CON
Roger, an educated man in his 40s, knew all about the “lottery scam,” an old con in which victims are told that they’ve won a foreign lottery, but to receive their money, they first must pay taxes or fees. (Victims who pay these fees find that their “winnings” never arrive.) So Roger was skeptical when he received an E-mail telling him that he had won the equivalent of thousands of dollars in the British lottery.
He also was intrigued. This wasn’t the usual sloppily written spam mail. It seemed very professional and included the names and phone numbers of lottery representatives he could contact. When Roger called, he was assured that this was not a scam. The lottery representative promised Roger that he would not have to pay any taxes or fees out of his own pocket. Instead, Roger could pay the fees and taxes out of the first installment of his winnings after he received them.
A British cashier’s check for $7,600 soon arrived in Roger’s mail. Roger deposited the check in his bank account… waited a week for his bank to make the funds available… then mailed a check for $5,500 to cover taxes and fees, as directed. Roger was sure it couldn’t be a scam of any kind — after all, he was $2,100 ahead, even if the rest of the money never arrived.
But the check never cleared, and several weeks later, Roger’s bank informed him that the $7,600 cashier’s check had bounced. Now he was out $5,500 of his own money.
Lesson: Be suspicious whenever you’re asked for money, even if you have already been paid a larger amount in the form of a check. It can take many weeks for a bank to determine whether a foreign or cashier’s check is valid. The check could bounce even after your bank has made the funds available to you, leaving you on the hook to return the entire amount to the bank.
Winning a lottery you did not enter is always too good to be true, even if the con artist does spin a plausible tale about how you came to win and his/her country’s unique lottery rules.
Also, according to the Federal Trade Commission, it is illegal for US citizens to play in a foreign lottery.
    ON-LINE DATING
Chad, a single man in his mid 50s, started an on-line relationship with a woman in her 20s named Eileen through a popular dating Web site. Chad and Eileen E-mailed back and forth over a period of many months and exchanged photos via E-mail. Chad was flattered that this attractive, younger woman was interested in him. When Eileen needed $1,500 for a plane ticket to visit a dying relative, Chad was more than happy to comply.
Eileen’s hard-luck stories and cash requests continued. Eventually, Chad gave Eileen money for a plane ticket so she could visit him. She claimed to live hundreds of miles away. That was the last he heard from her. He had been scammed out of more than $4,000.
Lesson: A con artist might spend months building rapport on-line before asking for a dime. Even if you think you know this person well, consider that you really don’t know anyone from your communications over the Internet — you just know the way he/she chooses to present himself in E-mail.
    HIT MAN CON
Steve, a financially successful Massachusetts man in his 30s, received an E-mail that sent him into a panic. The writer claimed to be a hit man hired to kill Steve. The hit man offered to call off the job if Steve gave him $75,000 — $15,000 more than he said he had been paid for the hit.
This hit man seemed to have done some research on Steve. He knew Steve worked in the financial services industry and that he could afford the $75,000 price.
Steve was given a phone number to call… four days to raise the money… and a warning not to contact the police. But Steve did go to the police, who had seen similar E-mails and explained to him that this was only a scam and that his life was not in danger. The con artist had probably found Steve’s E-mail address in a work-related database, which told him Steve’s profession. The lucrative nature of that profession suggested that Steve could afford the $75,000 price.
Lesson: Con men know that making victims fear for their lives is a great way to encourage them to hand over their money. Good con artists learn a few details about their intended victims to make their threats more credible. When you’re told not to go to the authorities, that’s when you should be sure to go to the police.
