This ‘N That Chitchat
Posted by Michelle Moquin on December 3rd, 2009
I have missed just chatting and responding, so there is no topic for today, just my opinion…
Tiger is just a man who puts another stake in the heart of the term’ family man’ – They’re coming out of the woodwork lately “Family man” – hmm…more like an oxymoron – don’t you agree? My take on it Linda, is that their aren’t many men who can proudly wear the badge ‘family man’. Tiger is just another man who got caught, and many (not all!) men that claim they are a ‘family man’, just haven’t got caught yet.
Men get married for lots of reasons – just like women. I agree with ZL: “men like marriage bc it ensures that their woman isn’t sharing…” Although women do cheat too. I also think many men get married so they can know they have a least one woman where they can spread her legs whenever they please. Ya know like ‘money in the bank’…it’s always there. I don’t think there’s too many men that get married with the ‘plan’ that they’re going to cheat, but I don’t think the thought, ‘I’m never gonna tap on some on the side’ ever enters their mind. It’s just the way it is.
And women who love to play with married men, such as yourself(?), are not the kind of women I respect. I have said it before and I’ll say it again. Women have the power here. If women didn’t mess around with married men, married men wouldn’t have the opportunity to mess around. Period. It’s a simple as that. And another thing for those stupid women who do, and think they’re going to be ‘the one’ to capture him and turn him around…you know prevent him from cheating on her. Uh huh, yeah right. Good luck with that. That’s my two.
Oh…Speaking of family….no Kalika Moquin is not a cousin of mine, although it was fun to see my name in the news. So you can quit wondering now. :)
ZL: Sorry to miss you yesterday. I hope that your meeting went well. Let’s keep trying ok :)
Anna and LLwayway: That story is so disgusting and brutal. Maxima – thanks for posting the story in its entirety. These women had been bound, macheted, shot and buried in a mass grave. It is believed that some were raped. None of them had underpants on and they even believe that some were buried while they were still alive.
Why is this happening? I ask again over and over, What is wrong with these men? Why are women’s lives of such little value? It upsets me to no end, and at times, I feel bound and shot and buried alive trying to scream for someone to listen, and stop the violence and the killing. Where is the love for women?….You’re right Jenna, There seems to be no end to the things men will do to women when given the opportunity. What can we do to change that? Doesn’t it feel that the treatment towards women is getting worse or has the internet just made it possible for the stories to reach us when in the past we were left in the dark?
Billy: As always, your little diddlies make me smile. Here’s one for you with a nod to all those politicians out there: “In democracy its your vote that counts. In feudalism, it’s your count that votes.”
Burt: They are everywhere but unfortunately not here for the time being.
Roy….oh Roy? Are you available to comment or are you too busy running up and down from your ship to respond? Earthlings are asking. I feel a little stress coming from you. Perhaps I can assist. I did receive a response from the e-mail that I sent. Hmm…on well…such is life.
Sharon: I am not familiar with Lou Sabini but I bet my good friend Elliot is. I’m not sure if Elliot reads my blog these days. He is a busy man, working on his book and teaching at the University – all about films and in fact his last semester was all about comedies. What a coincidence. Maybe he’ll be reading, chime in, and give us his two.
Liz: I love my older brother. :)
Anonz: It’s obvious you have all the money. But if anyone should have all of the power, “Let It Be Me”. Who else could I trust? :)
Peace out.
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle

There is a group of religious fanatics from Pakistan under the umbrella title of Lashkar-8-Tagba. It was founded by the Pakistan military to act as a suicide unit against India.
Laskhkar recruits from the illiterate, poor of Pakistan. In some cases the boys are sold to the organization for money or jobs for their relatives. The recruits are trained for a few months to act as martyrs to die for Allah’s holy Jihad.
They are told that their bodies will glow at death to signify their ascension into heaven and the fact that they will receive virgins and rewards in abundance. Plus their families on earth with be financially rewarded for their martyrdom.
The Pakistani government sanctioned the actions of this group to gain a suicide force to combat India over the issue of who will control Kashmir.
The irony for Pakistan is that this group has morphed into one that now wants to change Pakistan into a state of cleric rule by the law of islam. They are declaring a holy jihad to accomplish their desire. Since they believe that the great satan, the USA, is what props up the secular governments of the Islamic world, they also pledge the destruction of the USA.
The deadly reality is that they may be able to do what other terrorist groups haven’t been able to do. That is to deliver a nuclear bomb to the USA. They may be able to do this because they have deep ties in the highest levels of the Pakistani military establishment including the branch that controls their nuclear armament.
To combat this Obama has authorized all its secret agencies to coordinate its efforts to neutralize this group. But his intentions are being compromised by the republicans and religious white supremacists groups like the C Street Company.
They seek to have a major attack, even if it is nuclear, occur in the USA to insure their return to power. Following the example of the Reagan group who sabotaged Carter’s efforts to rescue the hostages in Iran to insure the election of Reagan, these groups will do anything to return to power.
They orchestrated the crashed party event to show the rest of the world, Obama and his inner core group of supporters that they can strike anywhere they choose.
They sought to prove that like what happened to Anwar Sadat when he was murdered my his own armed guards that Obama and his supporters could have the same happen to them because the Secret Service has been compromised.
The SS and various levels of the military and other secret services of the United States of America have been infiltrated with secret “warriors of god.” The “god” they worship maybe from the Mormon, or other christian religious sects. The point is that their loyalty is not to the Office of the President of the United States of America. It is to their particular sect.
Should you doubt this, check the travels of the US senators and representatives that belong to the white supremacist religious group, “the company.” Their members have been traveling as US Congressional representatives to other countries and pushing the agenda of the church they belong to. Just recently the C street religious sect got the dictator they put in power in Uganda to make homosexuality a crime punishable by death.
As far back as 1930 US senators like Strom Thurmond would cross party lines and give confidential reports to the church. Today, party really does not matter to its members, only race and gender. It is a white male exclusive club.
The only loyalty their members have is to the church hierarchy. This fact was demonstrated by allowing the “party crashing” couple to enter the President’s home and make contact with the entire chain of command. If you notice the photographs show the woman with every key person in Obama’s administration from the President to the Chief-of-staff.
With those photos they were showing the other leaders of the world who was really in charge. They were being told that even their safety could not be guaranteed by Obama if they visit the White House since it was obvious that Obama could not protect himself or his staff from their wrath.
This point has not gone unacknowledged. Several key leaders have made it known to the White House that they will not be making a personal visit to the White House. They have indicated that they will send subordinates instead.
Obama has been regulated as that impotent nigger in the White House. The fact that they have devalued the influence and power of the USA in the eyes of the world does not bother these groups because they will do anything to return to power.
Hence, they have issued orders to those to whom they have influence over in the military and ultra secret agencies to do everything in their power to prevent Obama from being successful in preventing a major attack inside of the US.
Key republican senators and southern democrats affiliated with the C street gang of religious white supremacists are actively plotting the sabotage of Obama’s efforts to protect the US from a major terrorist attack.
They may turn out to be the single greatest assistants to the Lashkar. The game is on. Who will prevail, Obama or the republican party and their religious sect? The winner will be announced loud and clear by the sound you hear or do not hear sometime before the 2012 elections.
So when you hear of the end of the world as you know it in 2012, consider that the architects of this event will be the republican party and their white supremacist religious sects, if they can pull it off.

Anonz that was some scary shit. If I believed you, I would leave the country. I am checking for your secret service comment. I have only been a reader for three months.
That gold theory is a humdinger. If I believed that I would sell all my gold coins now.
So Anonz who are you? A crusading rich boy, a Lothario in need of danger to get off.
Or are you a born again in need of acceptance by a god of some sort? Trying to save your immortal sole?
I’m a retired military man myself. I’ve had a bit of clandestine service and I’ve lived to tell about it.
Tell me something that will convince me you are for real.

Do Smoking Guns Cause Global Warming, Too?
By Ann Coulter

As we now know (and by “we” I mean “everyone with access to the Internet”), the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) has just been caught ferociously manipulating the data about the Earth’s temperature.
Recently leaked e-mails from the “scientists” at CRU show that, when talking among themselves, they forthrightly admit to using a “trick” to “hide the decline” in the Earth’s temperature since 1960 — as one e-mail says. Still another describes their manipulation of the data thus: “[W]e can have a proper result, but only by including a load of garbage!”
Am I just crazy from the heat or were they trying to deceive us?
Global warming cheerleaders in the media were quick to defend the scandalous e-mails, explaining that, among scientists, the words “trick,” “hide the decline” and “garbage” do not mean “trick,” “hide the decline” and “garbage.” These words actually mean “onion soup,” “sexual submissive” and “Gary, Ind.”

Q: What’s the best way to prevent my pipes from freezing during a power outage?
A: To prevent frozen pipes during power outages: Keep the fireplace lit and the flue open… open cabinets under sinks to allow warm air to circulate around pipes… slightly open all faucets to permit a stream of water… close doors to rooms that don’t contain pipes — such as bedrooms — and that won’t be used during the emergency. If there is a severe risk that the temperature will remain below 32°F for an extended period, fill 10 five-gallon buckets with water for emergencies.

I just saw a special on the influence the republicans had on the country of Uganda. It was sick. They actually caused thousands of unnecessary deaths in Africa. Not to mention the rape of young girls to get rid of the Aids infection.
Now they are advocating death to gays in Uganda. WoW.

I’m gay and for the life of me I can’t understand the Log Cabin republicans. They want to be in an exclusive all white party so bad that they would join an organization that advocates the execution of gays.
Rep Stupak is one of the sick white men who is pushing the death penalty for gays in Uganda and the imprisoning of people who know someone who is gay and doesn’t turn them in.
But can put good money on some Log Cabin gays helping him get reelected.

Guam – Guam war claims was the focus during today’s hearing with the House Armed Services Committee in the nation’s capitol. Committee Chairman Ike Skelton recognized the importance of ensuring survivors of the World War II occupation of Guam are well compensated, as he pointed out Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo’s efforts to get the legislation moving forward.
The Guam War Claims legislation passed the House twice, but failed to make this fiscal year’s final National Defense Authorization Act after the Senate had some objections to the measure.
Skelton hoped to address the areas that were objected, but not without updated information that would help have the Guam war claims considered in the future. While Skelton also hoped the existing United States obligation on the matter is addressed, discussions also touched on how the Guam war claims matter might impact the marine relocation from Okinawa to Guam.
Also in attendance at today’s hearing was Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Insular Affairs Tony Babauta, former Guam War Claims Review Commission chairman Mauricio Tamargo, Guam senators Ben Pangelinan and Frank Blas Jr., and WWII survivor Tom Barcinas.

The debt situation in Dubai is a serious problem that has the potential to make a select set of investors very rich. The biggest stumbling block is the fact that this, like other debt-fuelled crises, is mired in a tangled web of complicated business relationships.
If you heard all the Dubai news over the Thanksgiving weekend and saw the palpable fear on some commentators’ faces, but wondered what it all meant, I’m here today to set things straight.
Let’s begin with just a summary of the region and how it works.
The UAE, United Arab Emirates, is a confederation of seven states (called emirates). The two most well known are Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The capital of the seven emirates is Abu Dhabi; it is the wealthiest and second-largest city in the group. It also lays claim to the sixth-largest oil reserve in the world. Just to prohibit some confusion, Abu Dhabi is the name of both the capital city and the state it is in, something like New York, New York.
In some respects, Abu Dhabi is like an older, wiser, more fiscally conservative brother to Dubai, which has been rather profligate in its assumption of debt and flamboyant in its projection the state’s image. Being a sort of Las Vegas and Disneyland of the region, it has built a gorgeous skyline, and as its oil revenues have dwindled, they have turned their attention to the money to be made in tourism. But attracting tourists to the desert is a difficult proposition. It takes glitz. It takes glamour. And apparently it takes around $60 billion in borrowed money.
The borrowing, however, was not done by the state of Dubai directly, and is not owed directly by them to any creditors. Instead, Dubai has a state-owned but “independent” company called Dubai World. My guess is that the more problems that stem out of the company, the more “independent” it will become. At any rate, this company has been the driving engine and catalyst for much of the growth seen in the region.
I do not know how much they have spent already. I don’t know how much they have borrowed and repaid up to this point. But that, as they say, is, water under the bridge. What matters is that they have requested a payment hiatus on $60 billion in loans.
The emirate of Dubai has said it is washing its hands of the whole thing. They are not offering a bailout, and they are not guaranteeing the company. This, of course, troubled investors and depositors in Dubai’s banks. Fearing a run on the “company store,” the central bank of the UAE stepped up to the plate and guaranteed all deposits in regional banks. In other words, no reason for the public to be afraid (and frankly, the markets liked that, too).
But what they didn’t say may be just as important — because the speech from the Dubai “Fed” did not offer help to the troubled Dubai World conglomerate. Essentially, since it guaranteed the public’s deposits but didn’t fork over public money to bail the troubled company out, they took the taxpayer right off the hook. If this is truly how it unfolds, then hooray for Abu Dhabi. The U.S. Fed could take some lessons. But the play is not quite over yet. If the UAE is not going to be on the hook for Dubai World’s excesses, who is? Who actually lent all this money out in the first place?
Actually, it looks as though the United Kingdom could be the hardest hit. Half of that debt is owed to banks based there. Some $13 billion of that money is on loan from the Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Chartered; another $17 billion is from HSBC, whose stock fell from $62 down to $58 on the news.
Since the United Kingdom is still struggling to get any kind of recovery started, the news weighed heavily on its currency — at least initially. More bad debt on the books is not exactly what it needed at this point. Since the United Kingdom has already been issued a warning by Fitch about its sovereign debt rating, it certainly does not want an increase in borrowing costs for their gilts. This only adds to that burden.
But the world of finance has some pretty big bullies in it. I would think it highly likely that Abu Dhabi would be the subject of great external pressure if the situation remains wobbly. And this pressure could lead them to the conclusion that Dubai World is “to big to fail.”
That would relieve the pressure from the Eurozone (which has exposure by way of Germany) and U.K. banks. Beyond all doubt the West has financed itself up to its eyeballs, and one on this side of the world is willing to tack on a little more. RGE’s Nouriel Roubini is already predicting that the cost of U.S. bailout debt will rise from 40% to 80% of GDP. Not much room to borrow there.
And certainly Europe won’t be volunteering much help, because it’s having troubles of its own. It was recently announced that the cost of financing Greece’s debt has grown equal to that of Turkey’s debt… at one time considered a far more risky proposition. Should those individual countries continue to add to the red side of Europe’s ledger, some of the other larger states will need to jump in and bail them out. In the past, I’ve talked about the PIGS of the Eurozone: Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain. Add them to the increasing troubles in Lavia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belgium and Hungary, where foreign debt now exceeds 100% of GDP, and the “camel’s back” grows increasingly weaker.
But I digress. Back to Dubai… and Dubai World. CMA Datavision, a credit market tracking company, puts the chance at a full default of Dubai World at just under 36%. And while that would be bad for banks, it could have real effects in the commercial real estate market. Dubai World has some of the world’s premier properties under its control, including the world’s largest skyscraper and a series of man-made islands that resemble a palm tree and a world globe. Such things do not come cheaply. And they only have a limited application in terms of profitability. But if they go belly up, and are allowed to fail, that could make the sound of the “other shoe dropping” in the real estate venue. And considering that Abu Dhabi just gave Dubai a $10 billion bailout back in February, they may not be so anxious until some other pressure is applied.
Of course, the $60 billion of debt that Dubai has racked up is just a drop in the bucket compared to the TRILLIONS (that’s with a “T”) that have already flooded the market from other stimulating economies. David Buik, an analyst at London-based BGP Partners, figures the trouble in the UAE won’t amount to more than just an “unfortunate public relations exercise by Dubai.” We shall see how this unfolds and whether or not the ripples dissipate or turn into bigger waves.

FRUIT JUICES AND CERTAIN MEDICINES DON’T MIX
Don’t take your medicine with juice. This should become a mantra for medicine-takers, as researchers indicate that it is not just grapefruit juice that impacts drug absorption, but also apple and orange juice and possibly other fruit juices as well.
This is news to pay attention to, as some of the medications that can be affected are used to treat serious medical conditions such as heart disease, cancer, organ-transplant rejection and infections.
WHAT JUICES, WHAT DRUGS?
David G. Bailey, PhD, in the division of clinical pharmacology with the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, has studied the effects of grapefruit, orange and apple juices on the antihistamine fexofenadine (Allegra), which he says represents a whole class of drugs.
In the past, other researchers have shown that juices, grapefriut, orange and/or apple, can affect the absorption of the anticancer agent etoposide (Etopophos) … beta blockers used to treat high blood pressure and prevent heart attacks such as Atenolol (tenormin) and talinolol (Cordanum) … cyclosporine, a drug taken to prevent rejection of transplanted organs… and certain antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin (Cipro), levofloxacin (Levaquin) and itraconazole (Sporanox). Depending on the drug and the juice, you may not get enough of the drug or you may get too much.
In Dr. Bailey’s latest study, volunteers took Allegra with either a single glass of grapefruit juice, water containing only naringin (a bitter-tasting substance in grapefruit juice that is what causes the problem), or water. Where previous studies had found that grapefruit juice boosted the effect of some drugs, possibly to a toxic level, this study found that when subjects took Allegra with grapefruit juice, only half the dose was absorbed.
He said that other juices, including orange and apple juices, have compounds similar to naringin that may have the same effect. This means drinking common juices with medication can reduce significantly the amount of drug in the bloodstream, therefore, the drug’s effectiveness. Dr. Bailey presented his study results at the 236th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society.
JUICE RULES
Scientists acknowledge that the list of which juices interact with which drugs is very much a work in progress and is not yet definitive. Additionally, drug-food interactions can occur from four hours to three days after juice, depending on whether the drug decreases or increases potency.
Dr. Bailey advises patients to consult with their doctor or pharmacist before taking any medications with fruits and juices. “The most consistent effect is achieved if a drug is taken with a glass of plain old water, preferably on an empty stomach, unless you’ve received different directions from your doctor,” said Dr. Bailey.

I’m allergic to trash like that. Keep your lust to yourself. Anonz is probably some bald, fat old man with too many comic books.

The republicans voted against helping women when they are raped. I’m with you Clide. Who are the women who vote for these men. Are they so desperate to support men that they will back any man on anything.
These men know how ignorant their female supporters are that is why they ignore their interest.

Men aren’t all that nice to other men either. Today, I was peeing in a urinal at a bar. A drunk guy comes in, and seeing no urinals open, he decides to pee between my legs from behind me. He didn’t have good aim.
My pant legs were dripping wet and I stank of the most foul smelling piss ever. When I told my wife why we had to leave she asked me to point our the offender. I reluctantly did after a small argument.
She went over to the guy and kicked him in the balls twice. Then she poured my mug of beer on him and threw the mug at him as we were leaving.
When she told some men that she did it because he had put his hand up her dress, not a few of the gentlemen in the bar grabbed him and pummeled him as they threw him out of the bar.
All the way home she just laughed and laughed. All the while I felt nothing but hate for this violent woman.
I find myself asking why she has never shown any of this type of aggression towards me. She will tear up if I raise my voice to her in an argument.
It was only after I got home and changed my clothes when I realized that I had come watching her beat the shit out of that poor guy.
Did I mention that he laughed when he missed and pissed all over my legs? I’m 6’2” and 197 lbs. He might have been 5’10″ and about 200 lbs. I could have taken him to task easily.
My wife is 5’2″ and weighs maybe 97 lbs. She is afraid of scary movies.
What is the world coming to?

You are allergic to the world. Take some shots and get over yourself. Anonz is your worst nightmare. You couldn’t hold his jock strap.
I for one don’t care what he looks like. He makes me happy. His conversation is the blanket that keeps me snug at night.
I love my husband, but I LUST for Anonz. And I am not embarrassed to admit it.

Hi Mischa, sorry…lost track of time…had to kick the ass (on the court) of a woman who decided to walk by me and whisper ‘shashafrasa, mutter, mutter, Barbie’ hmmmm, and I’d been nice to the cold biagge thus far, but that ego kicked in and my mind said, ‘game on, I’ll show you how Barbie plays tennis, babes!’ : ) oh the joy of watching her run full on to find that the ball had barely dropped over the net, or went very long and spinning unexpectedly, tee hee…I can be cruel and smile as I’m doing it when someone openly disses me. My coach laughed her ass off, she’s never seen me look fierce, it has been awhile, kind of fun actually…
Midori, cute message yesterday but I rather prefer when Anonz misbehaves ; ) I’m sure you understand.
Anonz, I think Simon’s point of ‘that’s some scary shit’ is well worded and I agree in sentiment, both the gold info (first RE, now gold, what is next that the greedy will fleece us for?!) and the info on Paki/religous sects – I do appreciate the info, gives me more to look into…but, I’m not liking any of it, this country is handing itself to hell in a handbag, but it seems the greedy have no country and don’t care who or how they fleece as long as they fleece and get the money, is there no end to the greed? I’m not the nervous type but this message today has me nervous about 2012, the end of the world as we know it…
I’m left wondering if there’s anything that can be done to stop the religious ‘gangs’ from making this all that happen in 2012…? What, in your opinion/estimation, can be done that could possibly change this outcome? please share your thoughts…
And, Sweet pea, the imagery in your comment yesterday was stunningly amazing – I love that – it was all natural/nature/tasty and very Adam and Eveish…bite the apple, wanting the tree, lease of the garden, it was so ‘original sin’ like, mmmm, very nicely done and you know I find stimulating writing, quite stimulating : ) I can understand why men who write in are jealous and why the women who write in are filled with lust for you.
Think about it: bite the apple, want the tree, lease the garden, male jealousy, female longing, you and I and original sin sans religious repercussions and fig leaves – these brief exchanges with you are precious to me, did you know that? Maybe not, so I’m telling you – they are.
Women of MM blog, did you think bc I wass busy having an exchange with Anonz that I’d forget about you? No…never…so I wanted to elaborate on the attention/approval thing with others, not to mention the (egoistic) need to be unique and recognized as special – it’s one thing to like this kind of outside inout, it is another entirely if you rely on it to the point of ‘overdoing’ yourself to get it. we have all met men/women who overdo themselves in an extreme way and don’t see themselves as over the top, and we may laugh and call them attention whores, etc…but the truth is, they cannot reflect themselves to themselves so they NEED you/others to admire/approve/pay attention/notice them/recognize/praise them and it leads to an upping of that ante until it becomes an overwhelming NEED, and yikes, that’s when you see physical results of this, the female who always has to dress like a vixen bc her perception of her ‘value’ is sexiness and is her reflection of her self given to her by others and it gets more and more addictive and must always be acknowledged, or it’s the ‘fashionista’ who MUST wear just the right thing ALL the time bc the ego requires the acknowledgment/the compliments/style admiration, you get the picture and you’d think that the opposite might be better but it’s just another ego face, and the ante gets upped in the ‘see how low maintenance I am (I don’t care about that shit!)’ or the ‘I’m fragile so…(fill in the blank)’ (this is a very controlling way to be in reality)’ – again, egoistic/controlling and requiring outside acknowledgment for a person to exist in that chosen state (there is a negative attention pay off to choosing the aforementioned states).
And – that’s the key, choose the state and go there on your own terms, dress sexy if you feel good doing it for you and you enjoy it for its own end and you can feel just as sexy with a turtleneck on as when your cleavage is on display ; ) be a fashionista if you like, enjoy it just bc YOU enjoy it with or without commmentary from the oiuter world. I think your catching my drift…more about you and your inner world later.
Now for a yoga move I love – Warrior 1 – stand straight and step your left foot out as far as you can, torso is straight up, hips in line, lift your arms up over yor head and feel the stretch through the backs of your legs, your sides and right through your arms shooting positive energy straight out your fingertips and head, a good visual is to think about extending all your good energy towards everyone you will have contact with that day, the people you know you’ll run into as well as strangers who will no longer be strangers soon, just shoot it out there, it’s amazing to watch people do this in groups and I have the pleasure of watching kids do this every Tues/Th and you can easily see the purposefullness in their hands when their into it and the ‘limp biscuit’ look when they’re going through the motions to please me. I tell them – that doesn’t work bc you must do it to please yourself and so you see that is how I impart the ‘seek self approval’ lesson to them. A teacher, a French woman, gave me a hug and a merci beau coup today, she’s lost 5 lbs and her back is straighter and no longer hurts bc she follows the yoga class also, that kind of feedback just makes my day.
Have a good night, sorry for the length, I was on a roll : ) Zen Lill
