Blog Update
Posted by Michelle Moquin on November 25th, 2009
Good morning. Is anybody out there? It has been sooo quiet these past couple of days. Oh well…onto business.
I have been trying to avoid blogging what I am about to blog today but it has gotten to the point where I must. And as I begin to write this, I just want to delete it and forget about what I need to say, and continue blogging as usual. But I can’t.
It is a challenging time for me, (as I am sure it is for many of you), and personal matters that I have been putting off need to be addressed and made a priority. Unfortunately this means that my blog is going to have to play second to a few other things in my life….starting tomorrow. :)
I have always gotten up in the morning and happily headed straight to my computer, putting the important things in my life second to my blog, and unfortunately my personal life and health have suffered because of it. I am blaming no one; it was my choice then, as it is now. I just need to reexamine and prioritize some things in my life that I have been pushing aside, and are now begging for more time and attention.
But don’t worry; I will still be blogging everyday, and most likely posting in the AM. I can’t imagine not tuning in here everyday! So…this is the deal: I am just going to limit my research and writing time to suit my present personal demands. Which means I will most likely just be reprinting articles, and posting videos that are of interest and important to me, and spending less time writing personally and addressing your comments, in the body of my posts. You can handle that – no big deal, right?
I have always appreciated your dedication to tuning in here daily! And know that you can count on me to be here daily too. That I committed to a long time ago and will keep my promise. :)
That being said, I encourage you to continue commenting and posting your articles of interest. This is your blog too, and many readers look forward to the comments and articles that other readers post. I will always read your comments and posted articles, however, I just won’t be as interactive as I usually am. I will certainly make a comment to those commentators that I am inspired to address, but I will not be addressing most of you like I have in the past. (In fact I’m going to have to force myself to stick to this temporary way of blogging so that I will address my personal needs :) Are you cool with that?
I am hoping that you will stick by my side through this period and be compassionate and understanding while I go through this transitional time. I only foresee this happening for about a month or so, but it could be longer. I, of course, will keep you posted.
I don’t think this change will be that drastic. I mean c’mon, I’ll still be here every day and so will you. Are we good?
Good. As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts, concerns…what ever. Blog me. In the mean time…here’s a little humor for your enjoyment:
Peace out.
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle

I admire you for all you have done on this blog. You are an example to everyone who ventures into the unknown and finds the challenges daunting but pursues.
You have pursued well and you will find continued support from your fans.

I agree with my mother Michelle. You are definitely an example to all of us who feel too busy to do the good things for others we want to do.
Thanks for making it easier for all of us to communicate our feelings, thoughts, and ridding ourselves of our angst before we are tempted act out.
I found this on the web, I hope it will help someone:

Might as well face it: You’re addicted to junk
There may be a lot more truth to the phrase “junk-food junkie” than anyone ever imagined.
The latest research finds that snack cakes and other bad food can be every bit as addictive as crack and heroin.
Think about that next time you pick up a package of Ho Hos.
In fact, chocolate Ho Ho cakes were one of the very treats used in this study, which is expected to be published soon.
Neuroscientist Paul Kenny worked with three sets of rats. Some rats got healthy food… some got healthy food but were able to sample a little junk… and a third group got to eat as much Ho Hos, cheesecake and cheap sponge cake as they wanted.
And here’s what happened: The processed-food pests lost all control. They ate and ate and ate until their rat bellies bulged.
Pretty much like many humans.
Then, the rats were given electric stimulation to the pleasure centers of the their brains. The rodents were able to control their levels of stimulation by running in a wheel.
And the junk-food rats ran harder than the others – indicating that they needed more stimulation to get the same amount of pleasure as the other rodents.
The same thing happens to drug addicts, which is why they need more and more of their drugs to get the same high… and why so many end up overdosing. Now, we know that junk-food addicts overdose too – just on snacks instead of smack, and Coke instead of coke.
Then, to really show how important junk became to these rats, the researchers began sending shocks to the feet of the rodents who ate the stuff. Those who had only eaten a little of the snack food quickly decided it wasn’t worth the trouble and moved on.
But the addicts? They kept on eating, shock or no shock.
The scariest part to me is that it didn’t take much at all for the rats to reach this point – just five days on the snack-food diet turned them into full-blown junkies.
Researchers say this is the first study to find that junk food can be a powerful addiction, but is anyone really surprised? The fast-food joint White Castle even has an advertising campaign called “The Crave” that plays on the idea that their greasy little burgers are addictive.
Maybe in retrospect, this wasn’t just a clever slogan… but a rare bit of truth-in-advertising.
Now that we know the true power of these foods, maybe it’s time to start treating them like the dangerous substances they are.
And if you get the urge to binge, just remember: Junk food might make you giddy… or, let’s call it what it is now – high… for a moment or two.
But even as it fills the belly, it will always leave you empty.

Happy Thanksgiving Howie
I have enjoyed hearing your mind. You have been the source of many spirited discussions between me and my brothers.
I hope everything is okay with you. If I became a Girlz, I would vote to have you and Al aboard.

Happy Thanksgiving Al.
I am doing this separately because Howie is so sensitive about people who speak to you and him in one communication. You have not expressed your position on this issue so I hope you don’t mind that I say Happy Thanksgiving to Michelle and Zen Lill too.
My brothers say that you would be a no non sense governor of any world you were sent to marshall. I think they are wrong you are a secret pussy cat. I love your sense of humor.
I am 24 and I am very interested in meeting you. I live in Miami and you can call me if you wish. I will get a one time cell phone and give you my number. After we talk I will give you my real cell phone number.
What do you say?

I can identify with your blog problems. It is 4AM Thursday morning here. Mom and I went to sleep at 8Pm last night so that we could get up early and begin the finishing touches on the Thanksgiving meal for the family.
The men will get up today expecting their food on the table while watching their football games. Since the ones they really want to see will be on tomorrow your Thursday our Friday they will just have to improvise or get up early tomorrow. Now for football they will get up early.
Men, I love them, but sometimes they can be trying.

Have you seen the pictures of Michelle Obama that is being circulated on the net. White america is so sick when it comes to accepting degradation of OTW women.
The bigots are without a conscious when it comes to what they will do to disrespect an OTW president in the White House. But this attack upon his wife is so low.
When the WH is occupied by a white couple their will be new rules. Here is the crap Google is putting out. Isn’t it amazing how fast the white establishment can get stuff off the net that offends them.

Google Buys Ads To Explain Offensive Michelle Obama Image
Google has purchased online ads in an effort to explain to users why an offensive image of Michelle Obama is appearing, and is ranked so…
===============================
UPDATE: The offensive Michell Obama picture has reportedly been removed from the website, Hot Girls, that posted the image.
The Hot Girls blog posted a short explanation in Chinese, along with a loosely translated apology in English, explaining, “I am very sorry for this article, and that this is the program automatically issued a document from the article. Do not the subject of race and politics make the discussion too radical and sincere hope that the world is very peaceful.” The Guardian also reported that the site took down the offensive image of Michelle Obama.
Google has purchased online ads in an effort to explain to users why an offensive image of Michelle Obama is appearing, and is ranked so highly, in its Google Image search results.
The Google ad, titled “Offensive Search Results,” appears directly over the pictures of the First Lady that show up when users perform a Google Image search for “Michelle Obama.” (see the screenshot below).

What is true about the “values” that white people really have? It seems that all that talk about wives and children of the President being off limits was only a moral “value” for them as along as they benefited from it.
What else is just a self-serving moral “value” for them? Can we really accept any of the morals they claim to have as anything but lies.
