Death In Denmark

Posted by Michelle Moquin on February 4th, 2010

Awhile ago I wrote about the documentary ‘The Cove’, a film about the killing of Dolphins in Japan. Well, Japan isn’t the only country that is brutally massacring  innocent mammals. Pilot Whales, part of the Dolphin family are in danger too –  Denmark has a yearly ‘ritual’ too that takes place in the Faroe islands.

I watched several videos this morning and I felt sick to my stomach, not to mention tears streaming down my face – so many of them were so bloody brutal and graphic. This one is graphic too, but it also includes commentary that I think is important to hear.

One argument in the defense of this brutal killing is that there are so many of these Pilot Whales that they are not in danger of becoming extinct. I say, ‘So what?! Extinct or not, that is no excuse for inhumanely, violently killing these beautiful mammals.”

What gets to me the most is how social this gentle beings are, only to be greeted and gathered by human savages who care less about the fear and pain that these mammals go through, while they bleed to death in this blood bath...year after year after year….

Readers: I was told by an alien friend to not let my emotions overwhelm me, but to do something. The reason why I write about the atrocities that happen around the world is not only to inform but in hopes that one topic or another will strike in a cord in many of you, and you will make a point to take strong action in support of a particular topic(s) that means something to you. Every time I write a post such as this one, I pray that there is some special person(s) that will say to themselves, “This can’t go on anymore. I can not turn a blind eye – I am going to do something to change this.” There are so many amazing people who dedicate a big part of their lives to changing the world. I like to think that I am one of them – Are you?

Janice: I don’t need you to pray for me, thank you. As far as your husband and your affairs, I will respect your wishes. Let him whoop your ass if you feel you deserve it – who am I to argue in your defense when you have been brain-washed otherwise?

Zen Lill: I will let you know the answer to both of those questions in due time.

Tammi: I am sorry to hear about your story. How much does a woman need to take from a man, before she can take strong action against him, before he kills her? Evidently an abused woman has to take it all, over and over and over again. She can not protect herself from her man, nor the stand-behind-my-man minds of the women ready to convict her. Those 7 women were carefully picked to ensure your conviction. Although, women like Janice, I have discovered are more out there than I would like to admit. My thoughts are with you.

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my ‘loyal’(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

  1. Anna on Guam Says:

It is a little after 4:30 Friday morning here on Guam. Why am I up so early? I couldn’t sleep thinking about yesterday’s comments on your blog Michelle.

I have been chastised for my error in reporting that the last highest ranking US official visiting Guam was then Vice President Bush. I got that information from my local news paper.

When I told Peter about it he made his comments. Sorry Peter about including them when I misinformed you.

On the one hand I feel real bad about passing on inaccurate information, but on the other I feel real good that you out there are paying such close attention to what I write.

Kudos to anon and Jack for straightening my facts out. Keep up the good work. If more people were avid fact checkers, the general public would be better informed and it would keep the disseminators of information to the public more honest.

I’m sure that I will make mistakes in the future no matter how hard I try to be accurate( I will redouble my efforts after that fiasco). I know you will be watching, reading, fact checking, and most importantly calling me on it.

Now for today’s topic I want to address the five fires that have plagued Guam recently. It “appears” like arson. Someone has said that someone is apparently trying to clean up the eye sores around Guam.

ARSON IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT!

If someone out there is doing it, you must stop before someone is hurt or killed.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
GUAM – A rash of local fires is raising suspicions of arson. Guam News Factor was on the scene of three of those fires in Hagatna in the last week, including one that may have threatened explosion on Route 4 Tuesday evening.
Five fires in two weeks. One in Dededo. One in Piti. And three in Hagatna. All the blazes scorched through abandoned buildings except a Hagatna house inferno on Tuesday night. The flames crept dangerously close to the Mobil gas station near the four-way intersection by Agana Shopping Center. The fire raged ominously close to gas pumps, but even closer to underground petroleum tanks.
“That’s totally dangerous! I hope they shut down their tanks!” said eye witness Neil Calderon.
“Yeah, it was huge! I mean it was really huge,” said onlooker Linda Perez. “It was kind of scary. We thought it was the gas station.”
Johnny Rivera was also in the neighborhood picking up his children from the Agana Pool soon after he noticed smoke from afar. “It was really hot. You should’ve seen it, boy. Huge flames flying even higher than the roof.”
Led by the Guam Fire Department, police and fire officials are conducting a series of joint investigations into the causes of the mysterious fires.
Fire Department spokesman Joey San Nicolas says the Guam Police Department Crime Lab is on standby to analyze evidence from all five blazes.
Right now the focus is on Tuesday night’s fire.
“They have not ruled out arson,” San Nicolas said. “They have not ruled out accidental as well.”
Rivera suspects a fire starter on foot. “It sounds to me like you’ve got an arsonist on your hands,” he said. “Maybe someone’s trying to clean up Agana of eye sores, I don’t know.”
Also on the table as a cause for Tuesday night’s blaze? Electricity. Fire officials confirm the home was still receiving power and water when it ignited.
No injuries or deaths were reported after firefighters snuffed out flames. High-ranking sources within Guam’s police and fire departments independently confirm the home’s last occupant was Charlie Cepeda. Described as elderly, Cepeda reportedly stopped by to examine what was left of his home Wednesday morning while investigators searched the wreckage.
Guam News Factor stopped by the GPD crime lab on Wednesday to gather more information on the string of fires. But Latent Finger Print Examiner Gil Mondia could not allow us to tour forensic testing areas, because specialists were analyzing sensitive evidence unrelated to these fires.
He assured us, however, that the Factor may prearrange a tour with Captain Manny Babauta. Guam News Factor continues to monitor police and fire department findings. GFD spokesman San Nicolas plans to issue a news release requesting the public’s help in determining the cause of?the recent fires.

  2. Glen Says:

My wife used to be what the black guys call stout. I loved her that way. She has been on Zen Lill’s skinny woman regime since the beginning. Now she looks like a muscled, tight stick.

I’m forced to channel my desires to sites like this http://thesuperficial.com/2010/02/coco_is_everything_that_is_rig.php less I be tempted by the real thing.

Women who are married or with a mate who cherished the bods they have should balance their desire to be thin with the reality of what is happening with those partners.

Grace was thin when I met her, but I fell in love with her character so I overlooked the bod. After three children and 11 years of marriage at 31 she put on 51 lbs. Maybe she was about 5 or 6 lbs over weight. But she never heard that from me.

I fell in love all over again with her. She finally became the dream bod I wanted when we got married. She had something for me to hold and molest. Our sex life really took off.

She became so much more attentive to me and she was(and still is) always horny. I was always shopping to buy stuff that showed off my new fine babe. She started taking me along when she went shopping to help her pick out stuff. We had a ball shopping and finishing the day off with a glass of champagne and some chocolates and/or a smack.

Now, she won’t touch alcohol or anything sweet. She’s 5’7″ and weights 107 lbs. Sure she is firm in all the right places, but honestly, I would prefer a 147 lb woman who was not so defined. I want something to hold.

I want her to be happy with her body, but it does not turn me on. We make love but my mind is not really in it. I make about 400k and she makes about 700k a year. We are not hurting for money, but i am 42 and experiencing a desire to cheat for the first time in our marriage.

Frankly, I don’t care if she cheats, as long as she practiced safe sex, she can give that skinny tight body to whomever pleases her. I want to stay with her but I want to have a enjoyable sex life too.

Why am I writing this here? Well she reads this blog religiously and I can’t bring myself to tell the woman I love that having discovered how delicious and fine she was when she was 140ish, I can’t wrap my head around her at the size she was when we got married anymore.

We need to compromise. I want a “healthy” “stout” woman; one who is proud to be that way and who isn’t afraid to put on a few pounds from an enjoyable night out.

I have hired a fitness trainer of her choice who has trimmed 45lbs from my 267lb 6’2″ frame. I love her for forcing me to get into shape. I now have the body I’ve always dreamed of. I am ripped. She loves going to the beach with me and sitting on my stomach for the onlookers to gawk.

But now, I am not pleased to have this super thin, woman crawling all over me. I’m wondering if people think I’m starving my wife and using the money for myself.

Seriously, honey, you have taken this fitness thing way too far. Your ass is a lot tighter I will admit. But my d**k felt just as good in it when it was not.

    Your loving husband,

    Glen

  3. Health Info Says:

FINDING “DR. RIGHT” FOR AN OLDER PATIENT

The unique medical needs of old people is a topic that is cropping up more frequently in research and news reports — and it’s about time. For far too long, the elderly have had to put up with insensitive and even substandard medical care for a variety of reasons, and many elderly people themselves aren’t aware that their care hasn’t been up to snuff. So I reached out to Rosanne M. Leipzig, MD, PhD, vice chair for education of the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, who has been vocal about the need for more specialized training, as well as sensitivity, in the care of geriatric patients. According to Dr. Leipzig, “There simply are not enough geriatricians to care for our elderly population in this country today”… but, she said, this doesn’t mean that anyone should settle for substandard care. Dr. Leipzig believes that internists and family practitioners can provide excellent care if they’re able to recognize the unique and complex needs of their older patients.
    AGING CHANGES ALMOST EVERYTHING
As a group, elderly people haven’t been widely studied in clinical trials and other medical research — and that’s dangerous, because drugs and illness often act differently in older bodies. It is important that a doctor caring for an elderly patient be attuned to the subtle changes that age brings, because common conditions such as heart attack, pneumonia or a urinary tract infection can present differently. Doctors need to be aware of whether older patients can follow their instructions or need help — and if so, who is at home to provide it. And, importantly, the patient’s own health goals need to be factored into treatment decisions.
Some people are lucky enough to retain physical and mental well-being into their 80s, 90s and — for more people than ever — past 100, but the reality is that most older adults lose some functional abilities as the years pass. This truth must be understood, addressed and factored into their care. Eldercare requires teamwork — and that team should include the patient and his/her family and other caregivers, as well as the health-care professionals, Dr. Leipzig pointed out, adding that the older person should remain the decision-maker. “As a culture, we tend to infantilize older people,” she notes. “It’s often done with the best of intentions, but we must remember that these are adults who have their own opinions and value their autonomy.”
    WHEN CURE ISN’T THE GOAL
Truly caring for the elderly often means letting go of the idea of curing their problems and looking more realistically at how to manage them, Dr. Leipzig said. “In this country, there’s a tendency to believe that high-tech, aggressive treatments are best,” she explained. “But in many older people, particularly those who are frail or demented, such treatments can result in increased suffering and decreased function, even when a ‘cure’ is achieved. We don’t deny people because of age, but if it’s not likely to help the patient achieve his/her overall goals, why do it?” Though these discussions are difficult for doctors, patients and families, they are important, she said.
    FINDING DR. RIGHT
Dr. Leipzig offered some advice on how to find a doctor who is up to date on geriatric medicine and sensitive to the needs of elderly patients. First and foremost, she says, be on high alert for any statements that suggest bias against, or lack of interest in, working with older people. Red flags would include remarks such as, “At your age, you just have to live with… (chronic pain, poor vision, recurrent falls).” Her suggestion? Find a different doctor. “There are always things that can be done to make life better,” she said. Instead, look for a doctor who recognizes the importance of quality of life and functional ability to aging patients, in addition to having excellent diagnostic skills.
To help you ascertain whether a particular physician is a good fit, Dr. Leipzig suggested asking the following questions…
    • How do 80-year-olds differ from 50-year-olds, and how does that affect how you’ll care for me? A good answer should address such issues as the doctor’s ability to recognize that common symptoms may indicate different disorders in older adults… or that he/she is aware of the unique risks that the elderly face when they are hospitalized (confusion, deconditioning, worsening nutrition, etc.) and tries to prevent these from occurring.
    • If I tell you my wishes and goals, will you carry them out if I get into a state where I’m unable to communicate these myself? Be sure that your doctor knows your opinions on comfort and life-extending therapies, for instance, and has a copy of your living will and/or advance directives.
    • Do you prescribe medications differently for older adults? You want to hear that the doctor considers age when choosing medications and dosage …checks for interactions with other drugs, foods and diseases … tries to minimize the overall number of medications… and will prescribe considering the patient’s individual needs — perhaps decreasing the number of times a day medications need to be taken or ordering containers that can be easily opened for a patient with severe arthritis.
    • Have you had any special training in geriatric medicine? Your doctor doesn’t have to be a geriatric specialist, but he/she should be trained in the different care requirements of the elderly.

Leipzig, MD, PhD, is the Gerald and Mary Ellen Ritter Professor (tenured) and the vice chair for education of the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. ———————————————————————————-
    Finally, PROOF: Waterboarding
al-Qaeda leaders prevented more 9/11′s and saved countless lives

    But now, Barack Obama wants
to prosecute the men who kept us safe!

    Dear Fellow Conservative,

You’ve heard, no doubt, about the al Qaeda-trained terrorist who tried to blow up Northwest flight 253 on Christmas day. That’s because he came so close to succeeding.

What you probably haven’t heard about, however, was al-Qaeda’s 2006 plot to hijack seven American passenger jets and blow them up over the Atlantic. That’s because it was prevented.

How? By “waterboarding” the captured 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who gave up details of the plot.

And here’s something even fewer Americans know anything about: That plot was just one of many post-9/11 terrorist plots that were foiled thanks to the CIA’s waterboarding of KSM and other high-value terrorists.

Yet, immediately upon taking office, President Barack Obama began to dismantle the CIA’s enhanced-interrogation program, expose its secrets and spread a number of lies about it that have since become conventional wisdom — including the claim that waterboarding is not only “torture” but was unnecessary in getting KSM to talk.

Result? America is once again in grave danger of direct terrorist attacks on our country — as the nearly successful “Christmas bombing” so chillingly demonstrates.

Now, in Courting Disaster: How the CIA Kept America Safe and How Barack Obama Is Inviting the Next Attack, former Bush Administration insider Mark Thiessen refutes these lies — and challenges the false arguments that have been made by Obama and his fellow critics of the CIA program.

For a limited time, Human Events is making Courting Disaster available to you absolutely FREE.

In stunning detail, Courting Disaster hammers home that it was only the extraordinary work of America’s intelligence professionals that prevented the terrorists from striking again. You’ll discover, for instance, how information from detainees in CIA custody led to…
    • The arrest of al-Qaeda terrorist Jose Padilla, who was sent to America on a mission to blow up high-rise apartment buildings using natural gas
    • The capture of a cell of Southeast Asian terrorists who had been told by KSM to fly a passenger jet into the Library Tower in Los Angeles
    • The capture of Ramzi Bin al-Shibh, KSM’s right-hand man in the 9/11 attacks, just as he was finalizing a plot to fly hijacked planes into buildings in downtown London
    • The disruption of a plot to replicate the destruction at our embassies in East Africa — this time in Pakistan
    • The disruption of a plot to blow up our Marine base in Djibouti, which could have rivaled the 1983 bombing of our Marine barracks in Beirut
    • The breaking up an al-Qaeda cell that was developing anthrax for terrorist attacks inside the United States.
By dismantling our most effective intelligence programs, the Obama Administration has recklessly put America’s security at risk. Courting Disaster shows how and why — and is a clarion call for renewing the programs that are essential for protecting America.

  6. Ruth Says:

I found this on the Web about how the food we eat can affect our moods.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    The food-mood connection

If you’re suffering from the blues, don’t waste your time looking for the right med– look in your fridge instead.

Two new studies confirm what many of us in the natural healing community have been screaming for years: Poor diets are at the heart of many depression cases.

That’s because the real cause of many mood disorders is nutritional deficiencies… and the real reason for many of those deficiencies are diets based on processed junk and other foods that fill the belly and starve the brain.

They’re also pretty good at making people big, unhealthy and prone to diabetes–all contributing factors to depression.

British and French researchers looked at data on nearly 3,500 men and women who participated in the Whitehall II study. They were able to divide them into two patterns of eaters: “whole food” and “processed food.”

The researchers found that those who ate the most processed food had the highest likelihood of depression. They also found that whole food eaters were the least likely to be depressed… and the more whole foods they ate, the less likely the depression, according to the study published in the British Journal of Psychiatry.

Another study on women found very similar results.

Australian researchers found that women who ate mainly processed foods and carbs over the course of 10 years were 50 percent more likely to suffer from mood disorders. Women who ate a more traditional Australian diet of lamb, fish and whole grains were 30 percent less likely to suffer from depression and other mood disorders, according to the study published in the American Journal of Psychiatry.

Other studies have made the same connection–the real problem is not the research, but the fact that the drug companies never want to compare their meds directly to the dietary changes that would benefit so many people.

After all, Big Pharma is having a hard enough time with placebos!

Not every case of depression is caused by diet. Depression can be triggered by any number of factors, and can also be the result of several conditions striking at once. In many cases, key deficiencies are behind the blues–especially amino acids.

A doctor experienced in natural medicine can diagnose and treat those deficiencies– without having to resort to dangerous meds that don’t work.

So if you’re depressed, make that appointment. But while you wait, clean out the fridge and cupboard, and get rid of all the junk food–especially processed foods, sugary snacks and other carb-loaded garbage.

Replace those items with real food–meals you need to cook yourself from fresh ingredients, and healthy snacks like nuts and vegetables.

While the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts are preparing to go head-to-head in Super Bowl XLIV at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, U.S. justices and even our president are squaring off in arenas of jurisprudence from sea to shining sea.??Here are just a few recent examples:??U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito shook his head in dismay and mouthed the words “not true” when President Barack Obama rebutted the entire Supreme Court in the justices’ presence and before the whole nation during his State of the Union speech. The president alleged that the court “reversed a century of law … (to) open the floodgates for special interests — including foreign corporations — to spend without limit in our elections” (when, in fact, there are at least three accounts in the 183-page ruling that forbid its application to foreign nationals, groups or corporations).
President Obama renominated pro-abortion activist and former NARAL attorney Dawn Johnsen to head the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel. Johnsen has come under fire for calling women “fetal containers,” labeling pregnant women “losers in the contraceptive lottery” and comparing pregnancy to slavery and pro-lifers to the Ku Klux Klan.

Outside of fighting for the appointments and elections of true constitutional conservatives, we need to voice our opposition to the White House and our representatives regarding the appointments of liberal justices, such as David Hamilton, who was confirmed in November as a federal judge to the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Hamilton is radically pro-abortion and spent years working with and for the ACLU and ACORN. According to the Jan. 16 edition of World magazine, “Hamilton ruled against Christian prayers in the Indiana legislature, ruled against a menorah in a municipal building’s holiday display, and overturned a law requiring a woman to get counseling twice before she got an abortion.”

Out of 858 appellate and district court judgeships, there are presently 97 vacancies (11 percent). President Obama has made 26 nominations so far, with 10 being confirmed by the Senate.

The U.S. needs more honest and traditional justices like my friend Judge Roy Moore, who is running for governor of Alabama. Undoubtedly, readers remember him as the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama who was ousted for refusing to remove a copy of the Ten Commandments from the state’s judicial building. Roy’s resumé reads like a who’s who of American life and justice, from private practice to district attorney and then circuit judge and chief justice.

Here in Texas, I am endorsing Rick Green as justice for the state Supreme Court. As a former state legislator and constitutional scholar trained to defend our nation’s founding principles, Green is exactly the kind of justice we need serving on the Texas Supreme Court. He and Judge Roy Moore are the type of constitutionally abiding legal eagles who walk in the legacy of our Founding Fathers and whom we need serving in every state across our union.

We must fight for conservative justices with strong moral and religious codes because they most closely follow the principles established by America’s Founders. And I’m not alone in that conclusion. I stand in a long line of patriots, stretching back to the inception of our country.

James Wilson, a signer of the Constitution who was appointed to the Supreme Court by George Washington, explained the relationship between religion and law: “Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of that law which is divine. … Far from being rivals or enemies, religion and law are twin sisters, friends, and mutual assistants. Indeed, these two sciences run into each other. The divine law as discovered by reason and moral sense forms an essential part of both. The moral precepts delivered in the sacred oracles form part of the law of nature, are of the same origin and of the same obligation, operating universally and perpetually.”

Article 6 of the Constitution guarantees that “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” But as a matter of free speech, it is perfectly acceptable for citizens and even government officials to advocate the election of those who are devoutly religious.

John Jay — the first chief justice of the United States, also appointed by George Washington — wrote to Jedidiah Morse on Feb. 28, 1797: “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers. And it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”

At the very least, in light of the progressive cases now before U.S. courts and our own president’s audacity to disrespect and lie about the Supreme Court justices to their faces during one of the most watched political prime-time events of the year, we all should bow our heads and pray what the marshal of the court repeats every time the U.S. Supreme Court justices enter the courtroom to hear arguments: “God save the United States and this Honorable Court!”

  8. Evelyn Says:

Mom someone sent me this. I just wanted to share.

    What if there isn’t anymore?

One day a woman’s husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the
warmth of their bedroom, the wife was struck with the pain of learning
that sometimes there isn’t “anymore”. No more hugs, no more special
moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more
“just one minute.” Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used
up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye, say”I love
    you.”

So while we have it, it’s best we love it, care for it, fix it when it’s
broken and heal it when it’s sick. This is true for marriage…..And old
cars… And children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and
aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it,
    because we are worth it.

Some things we keep — like a best friend who moved away or a
sister-in-law after divorce. There are just some things that make us
    happy, no matter what.

Life is important, like people we know who are special.. And so, we keep
    them close!

I received this from someone who thought I was a ‘keeper’! Then I sent
it to the people I think of in the same way… Suppose one morning you
never wake up, do all your friends know you love them?

I was thinking…I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I
wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that
needed rekindling or three words needing to be said..

Let every one of your friends know you love them. Even if you think they
don’t love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little
words and a smile can do. And just in case I’m gone tomorrow.

    I LOVE YA!!!

Live today because tomorrow is not promised.

  9. Zen Lill Says:

HI Mischa, I’m ‘on call’ GF and commander, and it’s your call when to activate that measure, if ever.

Glen, I’m sorry to read your story and hear that your wife’s new habits are getting in the way of what sounds like a great and loving marriage, except for that part where you’re ok with her sleeping with others as long as its safe sex, are you sure yoy’re not looking for the OK for yourself there? Not many men who are totally in love with wives/girlfriends are cool with each other spreading it around. That’s just me though…I’m a bit selfish like that, what’s mine is mine, go find your own : ) hee hee

I will say this though: my plan is to get women/men healthy, eating right and feeling good, getting tight and losing weight are side benefits and I believe that there is a compromise. Glen, facts substantiate that processed sugar and alcohol have adverse health effects, does that mean I never eat sugar? Hell no! Or drink a drink or two? Hell no. It’s just so minimal that I just don’t crave it often anymore and if you don’t crave it, why eat/drink it?

That being said, I had to curtail the weight loss also…I found myself down to 140lbs, too thin on my frame, that skinny face was a look I loved in my early twenties, but now, not so much, so I kept the muscle added almost 10lbs and now I look well rounded as much as someone my height can look, do I have a slim tush, yes but there are many who like that. I will also say that when I had a larger tush I never minded it either, and there are/were many men who liked that also, I’m sure. Maybe a nice open discussion about you missing that ‘cushion for the pushin” is in order, I thought all good marriages had open communication? If that’s the case with yours, she’ll be a willing listener, no? On a positive note, I’m glad she slimmed you down some, you sound happy about that, so yes – a compromise sounds like a plan, good luck with that and I mean it. I’m glad you have a happy marriage, you’re very fortunate.

Mardi, thank you – um, don’t lose too much weight though, or discuss with someone close whether its enough, too much, etc…I want those of you that are happily married to stay that way : ) thanks for your kind thoughts also, I appreciate that.

Evelyn, that is a good one. I try to express my gratitude and love on phone calls with friends, it’s not unusual for me to tell them that. I learned that after my father died, the only thing left to say there was ‘I will miss you’ bc everything else had been said many times, good bad and ugly : ) I highly recommend this open practice, bc while I missed my father dearly, still do, I never had any unfinished business with him, now I won’t with anyone else either : )

On that note, I’ll once again tell Anonz how much you changed my life direction and how eternally grateful I am, and whether we ever meet or not, you will always hold a very special place in my mind and heart. I always wish you safety, good health and anything else your heart desires bc you deserve it. I’m grateful now that you are still tuning in here and continuing the banter from time to time, I love that.

Ruth, I’m ready to move to Italy and assist with young girls from Africa – hmmm, preferably in June but whatever, I am open…and if that opportunity is no longer there, well then, thank you for thinking of me when it was a possibility.

This morning I met a woman at the gates of my girls’ school, she wanted to meet me bc since her son has been taking my yoga class (and I mix in some ‘military’ moves to keep my young male audience) his self esteem has improved 100%, that’s the stuff that makes my day!

Right now though…better cash flow would be great, too : ) so – hi ho, back to work I go, Luv, Zen Lill

  10. Al Says:

I love everybody, even people I don’t like at all.

    Thanks Evelyn

  11. Zen Lill Says:

Al, you’re so cute, I just wanna snug ya right now – oh and you’re funny, too!

Re: the intention experiment – I did one of my own, actually I do every Tu/Th with yoga class, while we’re shooting energy out our fingertips I have them devote that positive energy towrds (name it) lately it’s been Haiti so kids can find their families, have meds they need, housing, can get back to school asap, etc…and one kid asked if we could shoot positive energy at his mom, home sick in bed, so yes I held them in sun salutation till our arms were shaking and talking about his mom, sending healing vibes her way by 5pm : ) just threw that in for laughs, she’d been down with the flu…she came up to me a few days ago to thank me for that intention and I said, so were you up by 5 that day? She reported that, fully UP – no, but she was sitting up for the first time in days and feeling like she was definitely on the mend, who knows, could’ve happened anyway but…maybe we set that in motion…I won’t ever know and yet I believe in that kind of power wholeheartedly. that is why i keep up my positive chatting during syvasana (lying in rest pose) about letting things go, sending positive intentions, etc…

OK, I admit it, I am the great procrastinator, but I am multi-tasking, texting friends/clients while typing here, making voice activated phone calls, etc…that counts right? What would I do without this place, hang out looking at Coco’s ta’s at that site, Glen – I mean really…? hahaha…now those are some seriously major bosoms and I thought I had a rack, scheissa…! That chick is 147 lbs in JUST the ta’s!

Women of MM blog, let’s have some dark chocolate and a glass of champers with a friend/lover/hubby tonight in honor of Glen ; ) and I haven’t heard from you, anyone try that hip flexor exercise I posted last week? I know your response: yeowwwzaa, it’s a good one and it has a little secret to it, did you catch it?

    Caio! ZL

  12. Faatin Says:

My brother is one of those brutes who ride on the back of motorcycles with clubs into crows and beat the people senseless. He and his fellow brutes sit around bragging who hurt what person the most.

They especially delight in telling how they smashed the face , skull or knees of a woman. Who will have her now they exclaim while laughing. Most of them are illiterate and from the hills. The other day one came over with some documents to leave it was obvious that he could not read.

I read what he left for my brother. It was documents telling where missile components and engines that can be used in unmanned military drones were to be picked up on 16 February. I removed that page and showed it to my school mate.

She helped me escape to my cousins place here in Pakistan. I am to trade this information to the US military for safe passage for me and my cousin’s family to the US.

Michelle, do you think I can trust them to honor their word?

    Faatin

    I need a answer immediately.

  13. Zhang Says:

    Zen Lill

I try all the advice you send. This one was particularly difficult, but I am making it everyday.

  14. Ross Says:

I read this on Huffington Post. It is so true.
    ===========================
Robert L. Borosage: The GOP is unable and unwilling to have a serious conversation with Americans about the fix we are in. Republicans don’t have a plan for deficit reduction — they just have different priorities. They want tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations that they would pay for with deep cuts for working and poor families and the elderly in Medicare and Medicaid. They’d spend more on the military and even less on domestic investments. Republicans don’t have a policy, they have a posture

  15. Bob Says:

    A distraught senior citizen
    phoned her doctor’s office.
‘Is it true,’ she wanted to know,
    ‘that the medication
you prescribed has to be taken
for the rest of my life?’

‘Yes, I’m afraid so,’ the doctor told her.

There was a moment of silence
    before the senior lady replied,
    ‘I’m wondering, then,
just how serious is my condition
    because this prescription is marked
    ‘NO REFILLS’.’

  16. Al Says:

ZL: So what’s taking ya so snuggin’ long, no joke.

  17. R. Says:

    I like your style Anna.

Youth of Guam, stand up for your rights! Heck, we all need to do that. Throw complacentness and apathy right out the window. We are getting stepped on and trampelled because we allow it. The bullies are beating us up we are not fighting back.

We get what we deserve… and boy are we getting it, spineless scared warriors of Guam.

  18. Alfred Says:

When I was told to check out this blog if I was interested in extraterrestrials , I was surprised to discover so much talk about Guam. I thought the government had that secret completely packed.

Then I read comments by Howie, and others that said differently. I have discovered that as a result of thinking that they will be able to safely open the Alien Gateway just off the Island the military will be sending a dozen vessels which are intended for the rapid transport of cargo and troops at speeds up to 45 knots.

But do they intend to really be transporting? It is obvious for the number of troops on Guam this number who be an overload.

The transports also have a flight deck for heli-copter operations, and an off-load ramp for vehicles to drive on and off the ship.

While they are heading for Guam we are being told that Guam is just one of the locations under consideration for up to 12 of the high speed vessels. Why, I suppose so that when they get to Guam, they can claim that this was a natural selection not a pre planned deed.

To continue the farce the Army is claiming to be seeking comment to identify environmental issues and other concerns that area residents may have.// if you have any concerns about the possible deployment here you can go to:  APGR-USAECNEPA@conus.army.mil

The aliens are coming. The question is will we be ready. I know Howie there are plenty of aliens already here. But who are these aliens and what will be their intentions?

    Alfred

  19. Zen Lill Says:

Ruth, your article provides excellent back up to the ZL health program and another side benefit, a better overall mood! Nice – thank you.

Zhang, is eating chocolate and the champers the challenge or finding a significant other to share it with or are you referring to that hip flexor thing : ) ? I’ve already eaten my suges! I took my kid out for a treat, a grande mocha java oh yeah…! And…dark chocolate covered pretzels. I’m dialing around to see who wants to drink champs on a weeknight with me ; ) might end up holding off till the weekend for that one, I’m already on the ceiling.

Howie, do tell – aliens and Guam, Guam and aliens, please…some details?

I heard a story that some if Obama’s key security people were caught taking serious bribe money to not provide security where they had security bought and paid for and where it should be in Paki, any truth to that? And, yes Anonz I am asking you, sweet pea, know anything about that?

    Mr. Hamilton,
I am pleased and honored that you have asked about me, being one of the founding fathers of this nation and not to mention that you have been dead for a while.
I see your face often, every time I pull a sawbuck ($10 bill) out of my wallet.
As far as going to Iruv along with Roy, I am fully aware of all the implications and will do as ordered. I am under no coercion whatsoever, and this choice would be of my own freewill.
Hopefully a peaceful, diplomatic solution will be found, capable of solving this conflict to everybody who is concerned satisfaction . Like yourself, the enormity of this conflict boggles my mind.
Sure, I would prefer going under more peaceful circumstances, but it is what it is, and I am just as ready to go.
