A Personal Note From The B.A.B.E.

Good morning!

I realize many of you are probably out enjoying the Labor Day Holiday, and soon I HOPE to be out too. However, the fact that this is Labor Day prompts me to post a personal opinion because of the need to point out again that the republicans have been against anything Obama is for.  When Obama announced that he will leave it up to Congress to decide whether he should take action that he wants to take, he showed that his beliefs as a Constitutional lawyer and his belief that a President has to obey that Constitution. More importantly he wanted to make it more difficult in the future for a president to take this country to war on his own.

The traitorous actions by the House of saying no to anything Obama wants is not lost on the Russians. For the first time in our history the Russians are sending members of their own to argue against a President of this nation. Why? Because they know that this bunch of bigots will once again decide for a white person of any country, rather than support a black man. No surprise there.

Labor Day to these hypocrites is merely an opportunity to lie to the people. They are firmly behind the 1% that are paying them to make it profitable to send American jobs overseas.

Obama is simply trying to send a message to those that would use chemical weapons upon civilians, that when the United Nations of the world decided that was something that would trigger a military response, that it would.  Just because those nations only gave lip service to the edict, doesn’t mean Obama should. Wouldn’t we be disappointed if he did? I know I certainly would. It would be not be characteristic of him.

In the past those same white led nations have used their power to subjugate and plunder OTW nations. They have set themselves up as holding up moral standards to lead the planet by. Yeah right. But once again this is but another example of that hypocrisy. The British allowed Hitler to take country after country until it became apparent that their security was in jeopardy. By then it was too late and we had to enter to save their sorry cowardly ass.

This behavior has repeated itself in modern history by every nation led by a white man including America. Obama is simply saying he refuses to take the cowardly way out.  He is standing by the principle that was agreed upon by every nation that is a member of the United Nations, including Syria, Russia, China, and Great Britain, that the use of chemical weapons will not be tolerated. Again, if he decided to go along with the crowd, wouldn’t you be disappointed? I know I would.

Watching those white run nations cop out just shows that in general white men are gutless when it comes to standing on principle when they have to put some skin in the game. It seems Obama is the only one with a pair. Like the republicans in our country, to them principle and morals are but sound bites they use to justify their positions and to move their constituents to vote for them.

It is truly a sorry state of affairs that a foreign power has recognized the degree of racism in this country in one of our Branches of government that it feels it can send a delegation to that branch to argue against the President of our country. They know that they can interfere in our internal politics because it is blinded by racism. Sickening enough for you? Happy Labor Day.

Now…I’m off to get some sunshine myself. Blog me if you have some time.

Peace & Love to all of you.

Obama On The Tonight Show

Good morning!

First of all…

Happy Belated Birthday Mr. President!

Just in case you missed it last night, here’s an interview with President Obama on the  Tonight show with Jay Leno show:

President Obama Talks NSA, Trayvon, And Hillary Lunch With Jay Leno (Full Interview)

President Obama joined Jay Leno on Tuesday night for a wide-ranging interview that touched on everything from his recent lunch with Hillary Clinton to reassurances that the NSA surveillance programs are not as overblown as they’ve been made out to be. He also opened up about the international terror alert the government issued over the weekend.

Obama admitted he was disappointed that Russia offered asylum to Edward Snowden, but said he still intends to attend the G20 summit in Russia when that comes up. He declined to opine much on Snowden, but insisted that the NSA programs are not that threatening and domestic communications are not being collected en masse.

Obama also reflected on his remarks about Trayvon Martin and the racial dialogue he thinks the country needs to have.

Watch the full interview below, via NBC:

Part 1:

Part 2:

Part 3:

*Y*A*Y*J*AY*

Readers: Wha’at’s up? Why did everyone write yesterday on the blog from the day before, after I posted yesterday’s blog? Confused? Get with it. I can see this morning you all did. :) Happy Hump day! Blog me.

Quu: I HOPE you’re having some fun too.

Edwin: I love men. My love doesn’t see colors. Whatever color they are means nothing to me. My love shines when the man I am with, no matter what color he is, treats me like a lady, and reveres me. And not just me, but women in general. Show me a man like that and in my mind he is a real man, and not just some boy trying to stick his dick in something warm and wet to get off.

Peace out.

This ‘N That Chitchat

Good morning!

No main topic for today – just want to catch up and say hello.

Social Butterfly: Happy to read you are still here. All is going well. Busy as ever like you. “…Returning to a more leisurely lifestyle” – ahhh that sounds lovely – that is in my plans too…in my near future. We’ll get together then. For now I am here and it is just another day in the life of… :)

Janet: :)

Robert, RT: Nice response. Women know they can count on you for their support. Miss seing you here. How are you?

Pamela: Any way  LOVE is expressed is beautiful to me.  Speaking of LOVE being expressed, this came across my plate. I never saw it or even read about it till now, but here’s a little bit of respite from all of the hate in this world:

Diego: That is new news to me. But your comment intrigued me so I did check it out. Repub Cathrynn Brown states,

“House Bill 206 was never intended to punish or criminalize rape victims,” Rep. Brown told New Mexico Telegram. “Its intent is solely to deter rape and cases of incest. The rapist—not the victim—would be charged with tampering of evidence. I am submitting a substitute draft to make the intent of the legislation abundantly clear.”

Even though Brown, staunch pro-lifer, changed her original wording because of the flood of complaints. Like most repubs they will try and pass radical legislation and then try and backtrack by acting as if that is not what they meant to do, when they get a backlash. She is no girl’s girl.

Carmen: Great article in the sense that this info needs to be out there – thanks for adding to the conversation and posting.

A lot is at stake here. Bayer will lose billions if the EPA does the right thing and bans neonicotinoids. However, bee populations are vital to agriculture and farmers will lose billions if honeybee populations continue to plummet. And then there are our children …

Yeh…our children. The answer is clear to me. But then big corps most always go for the big bucks, and put health of the planet and of our people in a faraway second place. Their poisoning their own and if they don’t care about their own, they certainly are not going to care about yours.

Terri: Oh I wish there was an answer to that question.

Insaf: Amazing isn’t it? Here in the world, we have examples, live examples of what life would be like. One would think we would learn from our sisters that are living it.

Zen Lill: It was nice to catch up. Thanks for sharing the photos of miss Lily – she is quite the young lady now!

Jacob: I loved reading those words, but more importantly, I loved that you already took action. Mothers too need to educate their young boys. You are being a great example. Perhaps your wife will take a clue. Thank you.

Madhubala: My heart is sad for you and my sisters abroad. I cannot imagine the fear that you live. Please don’t lose HOPE.

Ingrid: Yes, Maddie is one bad ass babe, who can kick some ass. But the real power lies in our own hands…when women finally say enough and band together. Then together and by each other we are self empowered. That is where the true power lies and where we must reach so that we can be examples to our mothers, and sisters, and aunts and most importantly our young girls.

Alex: Femicide. That is a new word to me. I don’t like the sound of it and rightly so. I’m with you. We vote them in to office, so we get what we ask for. Thankfully we women came together in this last election…at least many of us who are girl’s girls, and the men that support women. It’s time for our political arena to change and be huge supporters of women, punishing men on their abuses, and not supporting those who promote and campaign on the control of women…and I see it coming.

June: Sick. Sick. What more can I say. So what if she was disrespecting him? Like we’ve said before…if women only had the fear of being disrespected or yelled at or belittled – how different the world would be. What a wimp, and a coward. Not to mention the man is probably a LSOS, but what can we say, the woman is dead.

Dorothy: Good advice.

Maria: Consider yourself lucky.

Niti: I am aware of your situation and it leaves me speechless. I HOPE soon that something is done to stop this inhumanity.

Al: It does feel like old times doesn’t it? And by the way, this BABE doesn’t request that anyone leaves the blog unless they want to or they don’t like what they’re reading. Your presence is always welcome here. You have a fan club that misses you. I HOPE you’ll stick around for a while. Thanks for sticking up for women.

Howie: I HOPE the post puts many men not only in a somber mood but that they do something as you suggested. Thank you for the inspiration toward the men and for being one of the good guys as well.

Helen: That is just so wrong, I don’t know what to say. (Louise: Fixed. Thanks.)

Mark: How wonderful to read your comment. Thank you for sharing and more importantly for doing something. I know you’ll be an inspiration to other men to step up and do something too.

Readers: I know it is a late post but I haven’t been able to chitchat for sometime now. It feels good to connect. Have a beautiful weekend!!

Peace & Love

Good morning!

Happy New Year!!

Readers: I HOPE everyone had a fantastic time celebrating the coming of the new year!!

I’m not much into making new year resolutions, but I do look back at the year and reflect on what I have accomplished, what I could have done better, what I was glad I let go, and what I totally failed at. To me all the above are life lessons and a guide for the new year.

The biggies for me personally this year…well it is first and foremost my health, which for me shows up in the form of more “me time” – more time in nature, with friends, and getting into a new workout that I am excited about. I love what I do, and am blessed that it does not feel like “work”…it is more exciting than I could ever imagine so I have some big plans for additional growth.

Globally, I wish for planet to be well taken care of, that the greenery and oceans and animal life thrive, for our food to be abundant, fresh and natural, and for all…world citizens…to flourish and be safe, to treat each other equally, respectfully, kindly, lovingly…and for women to support each other and blossom into what we are meant to be…and take over this rock – yes it’s time for women to take the lead – I know, it sounds like Utopia – but hey, I think it’s best to reach for the stars and settle for something a tad bit less, but only if it is absolutely necessary :)

And lastly, the political junkie in me must say that I HOPE for Obama to be successful in his agenda/our agenda, the agenda that the majority of us voted for when we voted him in again – this year and the coming years and for the American people to not get lazy in 2014, as they did in 2010. (I just had to throw that bit in there as it is on my mind) We have a lot to accomplish in the coming years – change does not come easy and without sacrifice…but hey, nor does Utopia. :)

May all of you have much peace, love, laughter, good health, prosperity…and all the good you wish and HOPE for, for yourself and others in 2013.

And not to be forgotten, I HOPE that Hillary Clinton is recovering and feeling better.

Enjoy this first day of the new year! What will you be doing to make this new year different, better, whatever? Blog me.

Thanks again for being here with me daily. Lots of Love From Me to YOU! xoxo

I’m out of here…Peace Out.

Good morning!

I’m in the mood this morning…

*H*A*H*A*H*A*H*A*!!*

Howie: As much as I was disappointed over Obama’s choice about Rice; I’ve already said my very big two on the subject, I keep HOPEing there was some good reason for his actions, but I cannot imagine what it could be. With respect to Obama and his potential agreement with the aliens, this is a very big deal for our president and not to mention a big deal for the world. I HOPE the vote goes Obama’s way if that is what is best for the world.

I HOPE you had a wonderful Hanukkah, and all is well with you.

Anonymous: How can you say “...she seemed to be ok with how they treat the women?“? Just because Hathaway didn’t bring up women doesn’t mean she is ok with how they treat women. She said nothing about women, which doesn’t say she is ok with the treatment of women or not. We have no idea what is going through her mind except her comments about dropping her religion because they don’t support her gay brother. She was speaking strictly about her gay brother. Your comment doesn’t sound  like it’s “good none the less” – It sounds like you’re knocking her. (I’d like to hear what you’re doing in support of women or gays for that matter) Why not celebrate what she has done instead of knock what you seem to think she feels, without really knowing? At least Hathaway is one woman who took a stance…a strong stance against the Catholic Church –  I don’t hear about many other people doing such a thing.

Zen Lill:  What’s up girl? What’d you think of today’s funny? I know you’d be laughin’!

Blog me.
