PBS Polls on Palin, and Presidential Propaganda

Posted by Michelle Moquin on October 15th, 2008

Good Morning Readers:

PBS has an online poll posted, asking if Sarah Palin is qualified to be VP. It is amazing to me that people out there actually still think that she is qualified. Or is her support all just in the name of Party? Anyway, apparently the right wing knew about this in advance and are flooding the voting with YES votes. Now how did that happen?

The poll will be reported on PBS and picked up by mainstream media. And as always, strong marketing does what it is suppose to do….convince one way or another. Polls supporting a candidate can have the same influence over undecided voters who will vote for the popular candidate instead of using their brain to make a decision.  And in this case it can influence undecided voters in swing states. No Problem as long as they’re swinging over to Obama’s side.

Want to be part of this poll and have an influence over the undecideds?

Please do two things — it takes 20 seconds.

1) Click on the link and vote:

http://www.pbs.org/now/polls/poll-435.html

2) Then send this to every single Obama-Biden voter you know, and urge them to vote and pass it on.

I voted yesterday and the tally was even: 49% on both sides. Unbelievable. The last thing we need is PBS saying their viewers think Sarah Palin is qualified.  How stupid will American’s look then?

So, that’s handled. What else?

The last Presidential debate is tonight.  McCain is totally in denial. A recent quote: “I have’em exactly where I want’em.” Ugh…you do huh? Your assessment of your position in this race is about as realistic as your appraisal, aka: ‘lacking a concrete plan’ on what to do in our declining economy, not to mention your appraisals of the wars in the Middle East. Who are you fooling?

And my second favorite quote: “I want to emphasize again, I respect Senator Obama. We will conduct a respectful race, and we will make sure that everybody else does, too.”  Oh so what happened when people were shouting, ‘Kill him’ and holding up signs, ‘Obama Bin Lyin’?  Need glasses?…Is your hearing aid not doing the job…or is it just you? C’mon now, you’re the one ‘lyin’. Don’t you think it’s time to be a man of your word?

And lastly: “After I whip his you-know-what in this debate, we’re going to be going out 24/7.” Oh McCain, your ass whipping days are over if they ever were. This is McCain’s last chance and I say it’s gonna be a ‘three strikes and you’re outta here’ kind of evening. Yeah, McCain will bring out the daggers, but in the end, the only scathing will be self-inflicted; Obama will walk away without a scratch and a win to his name.

Do you agree? Blog me.

Oh ZL: I forgot…in regards to your comment…No I don’t need attention but being appreciated in any form whether it be physical, emotional, or intellectual, is always welcomed. One person’s ‘ick’ factor is obviously another person’s ‘turn on’ – hey watever flips your skirt or in regards to the ‘hog man’ – ‘whatever rubs your leathered crotch’. Let’s not forget the fact that ‘form’, not only gives pleasure but receives it too… If I am going to be in ‘form’ I want to experience pleasure on all levels. Until I can have an emotional or intellectual orgasm sans drugs (Or hell even with them!),  I’ll settle for the physical any time of day. :)

Gratefully your blog host,

  2. beingajoe Says:

She is profoundly unqualified and it is so underhanded that McCain selected her as his VP selection. By the way, here is a website I found that shares all the Gov Sarah Palin dirt and supports Barack Obama!

  3. Doug Says:

I feel that people are opening up to the truth and levity to the situation at hand. It seems to be shown in the many other polls as to the growing audience of Obama followers.

In reference to the Bradley effect, and the fears to these theories are not to be discounted, although, this dates back a ways and new precident have been set with Wilder, and Ford since then. Due to these new precident campaigns and results it shows the changes in American racial philosophy and the changes and healing that this country has been slowly going through.

Do NOT let the press sway the truth!

i am not in America but I love the way you write what I have been thinking but could not put into words the way you do.

    Thank you

    Michelle

I have been writing in to your blog for months. I have made it in only once. Today about two thousand of us watched your american debate. We used it as an opportunity to learn english and to understand how you pick your leader.

We revere age, but this McCain seems more like a cartoon than a real person.

    Ling

  6. Beverly Says:

I agree with you Michelle. I love the way you think. I wish you were a man.

The men I meet are so stupid. My ex husband had to give me 11 million dollars because he did not get a prenupt when we got married. I stupidly brought it up, but he said “baby we are in this for life.”

Honestly, I wanted it to last for life, but as I got to know him without the influence of his money, he was not a person I could like.

I tried to love him. But he was just an ignorant man with a lot of inherited money.

Many men came on to me, but I kept them at arms length. I just could not love the man. He was a typical white man. l wanted a man who was comfortable with who he was. I did not like being put in a position where I had to constantly reassure my man that he was the better choice because of the color of his skin.

    Beverly

  7. england Says:

You Americans are amazing like us British. But in the election process, I just don’t understand how it works

  8. Ireland Says:

“Play by the rules” is an american phrase meaning white rules. I live in a country that has no black problem.

You americans have blacks, yellows, browns, reds, and whites in your country. Why can’t you get along?

Sorry that was not a serious question. We have been fighting catholic and non catholic beliefs to the death for thousands of years. How insane is that?

    Ingrid

  9. Anoz Says:

I may be warning you of an event so horrible that it would be inconceivable.

The republicans are planning on allowing a group of terrorists to invade and do something that could cause the loss of thousands of lives to bring back attention to McCain’s perceived strength, national defense.

If I think that they will actually go through with it, I will check in and name the place and name names.

    Anonz

PS: How about that table bluff. We raised the pot about 900 points, then cut the remaining millionaires away from the table by raising the bets beyond their wallets.
    This my kind of game.

  10. Helena Says:

Am I supposed to believe that women fake their health issues to get an abortion?

I just flipped my vote to Obama.
