Good morning!

I want to let you all know that starting today and for the next 9 days, I am going to take some time off to soak in the sun and get plenty of much needed relaxing time. Well…I won’t be all the way gone. I will be posting everyday of course, as I usually do, but depending upon my internet availability, I cannot say how often or easily I will be able to connect with you.

Where I will be staying, I am told getting on the internet will not be a problem, but I always like to have a Plan B just in case, as I would not want my readers to be without a day of “A day in the life of…” So…although I am HOPEing and planning that I can still stay in touch daily, I am pre-posting 10 days worth of writes that will post automatically, just in case technology fails me.

Oh and by the way, I re-read my post from yesterday and I just want to say that I am no longer feeling desperate…thank God that feeling left. Not sure where that came from but I am back to my same same HOPEful self. Don’t get me wrong, I still believe this election is in our hands…and no doubt, we still have our work cut out for us. However, I think it’s good to be a bit scared, and we should be with all that is at stake.  But I have faith, and my faith and HOPE go hand in hand in motivating me to move forward, and do all that I can do. Are you with me?

Okay, good. :)

Anywho…With our little chitchat awhile ago about Steve Harvey’s book, “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man”, I just couldn’t resist posting this one. This just cracks me up.  Enjoy.

‘Family Feud’ Swallow Question Makes Steve Harvey Fear Future Of Show (VIDEO)

“Magen, tell me something you put in your mouth but don’t swallow.” Before the question left “Family Feud” host Steve Harvey’s lips, he knew he had stumbled into sticky territory.

After innocuously getting the answer “gum” during the initial round, Harvey walked over to the Forsythe team and posed the same question. But Magen, the girl he asked (and a pastor’s wife to boot), gave him an incredulous look that summed up what most viewers were likely thinking (assuming that, like us, most viewers have the sense of humor of a 12-year-old boy).

Harvey immediately spirals into a half tirade/half lecture about how such a question — and such an answer — could potentially harm the squeaky-clean legacy that “Family Feud” has enjoyed for decades.

How does Magen eventually answer? Does she tiptoe around the question? Is “Family Feud” off the air after an advertiser revolt against swallowing? You may be surprised.

********

Readers: So…tell me something  else you put in your mouth but don’t swallow. Blog me.

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

Gratefully your blog host,

  1. Health Info Says:

    Just Lift Light Weights

Lifting weights to build muscle can, of course, help us stay more fit and healthy as we age.

But a typical strength-training routine using heavy weights can be risky for people with orthopedic problems, such as arthritis, back pain or sports injuries, and for people with other conditions, such as glaucoma or high blood pressure.

And some people just don’t enjoy lifting heavy weights at all.
So I’m energized by new research that suggests that lifting light weights can help build strength just as effectively as heavy weights—as long as you do the exercises in a certain way.

    MORE REPS WITH LIGHTER WEIGHTS

The real keys to this new finding are the amount of weight and the number of “reps” (repetitions) that you do in each set of exercises…

To figure all this out, researchers analyzed how different weight loads and repetitions affected the quadriceps muscles in subjects’ thighs.

First, they assessed each subject’s “maximum load capacity” (MLC, the largest amount that each subject could push with the legs using a weight-resistance machine).

Then each subject did three sets of this leg exercise three days a week at either 80% of his MLC or 30% of his MLC—in other words, with weight that seemed heavy or with weight that seemed light.

Each set lasted until the participant’s legs pooped out—generally after doing the exercise about 10 times with the heavier weight or 30 times with the lighter weight.

    Results:
Both groups pushed about 30% more weight by the end of the 10-week study, meaning that their muscles became about 30% stronger. In other words, doing lots of reps with a lighter weight built strength just as successfully as doing a few reps with bigger loads.

Lifting lighter weights more times won’t be any easier—you’ll still feel tired after a full set—but the load on your muscles, joints and cardiovascular system will be lighter, and so there’s less chance of straining a muscle, injuring a joint or worsening a health condition, said lead researcher Cameron Mitchell, a PhD student in kinesiology at McMaster University in Ontario.

TIRED MUSCLES? YOU’RE DOING IT RIGHT

The secret to achieving similar results lies in how you lift a lighter weight, Mitchell added. The idea is to lift and lower it until you’re at the point of real muscle fatigue—where you can no longer maintain proper form.

Mitchell offered an easy rule of thumb to figure out your personal MLC—a 30% load can be lifted between 25 and 35 times, while an 80% load can be lifted between eight and 12 times.

So if lifting heavy weights isn’t recommended for you because of your health condition, ask your doctor if it’s OK to try lifting only lighter weights that you can do about 25 to 35 reps with.

Complete three sets during your routine for each muscle that you’re trying to build, and do this routine two or three times a week with at least one rest day in between.

While only quadriceps muscles were tested in this study, Mitchell told me that there’s no reason to believe that the same results can’t be achieved using a weight machine, dumbbells or barbells—or heck, even soup cans—on any muscle that you want to strengthen.

Romney likes to keep things secret from the American people. His tax returns and his policy details he just expects us to trust him. Trust a man who has changed positions every time the wind blows? No thanks.

  3. Lisa Says:

Okay michelle I’ll play. First thought cum, but I love swallowing my husbands. That’s why I married him. The other dicks I sucked and swallowed tasted like bleach.

    My answer: A Dick.

  4. Rocky Says:

Looks like even Faux news is getting tired of Romney dodging the tax question.
    =========================

The Romney campaign has so far refused to clarify which tax deductions and loopholes it would eliminate in order to make its huge proposed tax cut for the rich revenue neutral. Despite repeated requests, the campaign and candidate have refused to budge, content to say that the tax plan “can’t be scored” due to its lack of detail.

And even Fox News has apparently had it with the campaign’s consistent dodging of this question, as Fox’s Gregg Jarrett repeatedly asked Romney policy director Lanhee Chen about it during an interview on Friday:

JARRETT: He’s not saying which of the loopholes and deductions and credits and exemptions he wants to close. That is huge. That’s significant. How can he not tell the American people those facts?

CHEN: Well, let’s back up for a second. This is a race about two dramatically different philosophies. [...] As you’ve said, they’re going to get rid of some of this underbrush, some of the deductions and some of the exemptions that are clouding our tax code.

JARRETT: But why won’t he explain how and which ones and by how much?

CHEN: Well, you know, a number of different bipartisan commissions over the years have told us exactly how we get there. The key is presidential leadership and that’s something that’s been lacking. That’s something that Governor Mitt Romney is going to provide in the White House.

JARRETT: But Mr. Chen, forgive me, you’re just not answering my question. So let me put it again: which loopholes and deductions and credits and exemptions the President’s going to get rid of would affect all Americans. Before they cast their ballot, don’t they deserve to know which ones are going, which ones are not, and by how much?

CHEN: Look Greg, Governor Romney’s been very clear that first of all we’re going to look to curb deductions for high-income taxpayers. And secondly, a lot of different deductions and exemptions are out there, we’ve got a lot of different ways to get there.

    Watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4fZkdjvsLxI

According to the non-partisan Tax Policy Center, even assuming that Romney eliminates all deductions and exemptions for high-income individuals, he would still have to raise middle-class taxes in order to pay for his tax plan.

Romney, of course, is not going to completely eliminate all tax preferences enjoyed by the wealthy, so his plan will either raise middle-class taxes or bust the budget.

And even Fox News, it seems, wants Romney to divulge the details sooner rather than later.

  5. Brandon Says:

About time! Its good to see journalists get past the political jargon spewed by candidates and demand them to provide facts and numbers to back their claims.

I’m sick of the 20 second sound bites, the misinterpretation of phrases taken out of context, and petty personal attacks, generalizations, and one liners that have dominated the “debate” thus far.

Hopefully the fourth estate can redirect the debate rather than just be mouth pieces for partisan propaganda. In other words do their job

  6. Kenny Says:

I can’t believe that a Fox anchor was that direct. But here was the guy claiming that he is going to cut taxes but won’t tell the American voters what taxes he is going to cut and whose?

The video says it all about Romney. Mirrors and not even smoke. I hope Obama asks him what he will do on taxes.

  7. Downy Says:

Also Chen stated that the president is going to raise taxes. It was my understanding that the proposed tax increase was comming to the top 2% of the population, while the Bush tax cuts to those making less than $250K would remain.

Also he plans on permanently adjusting the AMT with inflation (from what i understand this will help the middle class?), Capital gains tax will increase – probably affect investment, but there are plans for cuts to corprate tax rates.

  8. Cheryl Says:

No one would vote for him except the 1% if they knew any more about Romney. But we know enough about Ryan’s plans to bankrupt every American citizen. That should tell us enough to NOT vote Republican. Romney can hide all he wants but the TRUTH IS OBVIOUS.

  9. Mindi Says:

Michelle, Cum is my answer. I have had at least a gallon in my mouth and I have never swallowed that stuff.

  10. Gretta Says:

Why won’t Romney tell us How, which ones and by how much, which loop holes, credits, and balances.

I guess only someone voting for anybody but Obama would vote for a person who refuses to tell you what he is going to do before you elect him.

Oh, so just give me the job and I’ll tell you what I am going to do once you give it to me.

I wonder if Romney would hire someone who told him that.

You gotta be a limp dick white boy to let your little head make you vote for romney.

  11. Tommy Says:

We need a president that fixes this economy. The only choices we have are Obama or Romney. Obama is a do nothing failure. All we have left is Romney to choose from. We need term limits for the senate and congress or this will never change. It can only change if Americans unite together and demand the change.

  12. RJ Says:

The end is nigh, when fox goes fair and balanced like that.

  13. Erin Says:

    Mitt Romney is a MORON.

  14. Jeffery Says:

Tommy how have you determined Obama is a “do nothing failure”? What has or hasn’t he done that would make you prefer Romney?

  15. Marian Says:

    Tommy:

Then you need to demand a change in the Congress, not the White House. No president can succeed with a congress whose first consideration is to deny him a second term and refuse to compromise on anything!!!

  16. Dennis Says:

Erin, I beg to differ with you. The MORONS are the people who will vote for a person that refuses to tell you what he is going to do until you elect him.

The morons are the ones who don’t ask the idiot telling them “I will lead,” where, how, or in what.

    Dennis

  17. Margie Says:

I remember how surprised I was to discovered as a result of y research, that before Romney signed on with Bain, he had it written into his contract that if he failed, he wouldn’t be blamed for it.

Romney has been described as being “risk averse,” and based on what I’ve seen with his constant changes in his policy positions to avoid blow back from different sectors of the Republican Party, I believe it.

  18. Mary Says:

I think Mitt’s a moron. But I also thing he is a fairly good scam artist. He has been able to get companies to pay him millions to kill them off. That takes some brains, but NO MORALITY.

  19. Louis Says:

Romney won’t say what he is going to do because he doesn’t know until his owners tell him.

  20. Rosselli Says:

When asked on Fox News why he didn’t talk about the troops Romney said “you talk about the things that you think are important and I described in my speech, my commitment to a strong military unlike the president’s decision to cut our military. And I didn’t use the word troops, I used the word military. I think they refer to the same thing.”

He was thinking like a business man. The troops are not important but increasing military contracts are. His superpac contributers are already lining up with their hands out for those military contracts (government money).

  21. Terry Says:

The fact he doesn’t understand there’s a difference between “the military” and “the troops” should be a disqualifying issue. They are two unique constituencies with sometimes widely varying interests.

  22. Rob Says:

For a man who ‘prides’ himself on his corporate record, he doesn’t seem very adaptable, or quick-thinking does he? He’s starting to make GW look sharp…

  23. Janice Says:

    I found that interview.
    =========================

Romney On Omitting U.S. Troops From RNC Speech: ‘You Talk About Things You Think Are Important’

In an interview with Fox News this afternoon, Mitt Romney shot back at critics who complained that he didn’t mention Afghanistan or praise U.S. troops in his convention speech last week, arguing that he focused on issues that are “important.”

Fox News’s Brett Baier told Romney that “several speakers” at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte this week criticized the GOP presidential nominee for the omissions (actually it was right-wing foreign policy leader Bill Kristol who started the attacks) and asked him if he had any regrets. “I only regret you’re repeating it day in and day out,” Romney said, adding that his speech focused on things that are important:

    BAIER:
To hear several speakers in Charlotte … they were essentially saying that you don’t care about the U.S. military because you didn’t mention U.S. troops and the war in Afghanistan in your nomination acceptance speech. … Do you regret opening up this line of attack, now a recurring attack, by leaving out that issue in the speech.

    ROMNEY:
I only regret you’re repeating it day in and day out. When you give a speech you don’t go through a laundry list, you talk about the things that you think are important and I described in my speech, my commitment to a strong military unlike the president’s decision to cut our military. And I didn’t use the word troops, I used the word military. I think they refer to the same thing.

    Watch the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=tVPscytI3DI

The war in Afghanistan and the sacrifices made by U.S. troops weren’t important enough for Romney to talk about them in his speech? His speech did mention the military, but only to say that he wants to “preserve” a strong military (incidentally so does Obama). But Kristol’s criticism was not that Romney didn’t mention the military but that he did not pay tribute to U.S. troops who fought or are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

But what is Romney’s “commitment to a strong military”? He plans to increase military spending by $2.1 trillion over the next ten years (which the military does not need) without offering a plan to pay for it. That doesn’t sound too much like a strong commitment to the economy.

  24. Anonymous Says:

Oh, Mitt, “Military” & “troops” aren’t the same thing – one’s the war-making institution & the other are soldiers – you know, human, living

No surprise that Mittens who supported the Vietnam-War draft and then dodged the very same draft is unable to distinguish between the two, just like he’s unable to distinguish between corporations & people, and people & spreadsheet numbers, as when at Bain.

And why he’s eager to plunge troops into another war. It’s a callousness well honed over a lifetime

  25. Gilbert Says:

Once again, more evidence that Rmoney and his loyal side kick Ayn ‘Lyin’ Ryan…are definitely not ready for prime time. But what can expect from two men who have no clue…

  26. Samari Says:

Here’s a story CNN is reporting that shows the “other side” of an “honor killing.” It’s usually men taking female relatives out. This is a court case to watch. Although governments “decry” it, they look the other way when it happens to women. Now they are forced to look at what an honor killing means.

A woman in Turkey is awaiting trial after beheading a man who she says raped her repeatedly for months and is the father of her unborn child. Her lawyer says the woman killed the man to protect her honor.

Nevin Yildirim, a 26-year-old mother of two, lives in a small village in southwestern Turkey. She said the man, Nurettin Gider, began the attacks a few days after her husband left in January for a seasonal job in another town, according to a source close to the case.

Yildirim said Gider threatened her with a gun and said he would kill her children, ages 2 and 6, if she made any noise, according to the source. That was the first of repeated rapes over the next eight months, the source said.

At one point, Yildirim said, Gider sneaked into her house while she was asleep and took pictures of her, the source said. One of the pictures shows her pregnant body. Gider threatened to publish the pictures if she didn’t obey him, the source said.

In small villages like hers, honor is held above all else, and women carry the burden of honor for their families. Pictures like those would have been devastating for Yildirim and her family and could have posed a danger.

On August 28, at least five months pregnant by a man who she said continued to rape her, Yildirim said she decided she had had enough. Gider was climbing up the back wall of her house. “I knew he was going to rape me again,” she said at her preliminary hearing August 30.

She said she grabbed her father-in-law’s rifle that was hanging on the wall and she shot him. He tried to draw his gun and she fired again.

“I chased him,” she said. “He fell on the ground. He started cussing. I shot his sexual organ this time. He became quiet. I knew he was dead. I then cut his head off.”

Witnesses described Yildirim walking into the village square, carrying the man’s head by his hair, blood dripping on the ground.

“Don’t talk behind my back, don’t play with my honor,” Yildirim said to the men sitting in the coffee house on the square. “Here is the head of the man who played with my honor.”

She threw Gider’s head to the ground, the witnesses said. Video from Turkish broadcaster DHA, which arrived on the scene before the authorities, showed Gider’s head on the ground.

Witnesses called authorities and Yildirim was arrested.

Gider was 35 and the father of two children, 15 and 9. He was married to an aunt of Yildirim’s husband.

Yildirim told her legal representative she regrets what happened, the source said.

“I thought of reporting him to military police and to the district attorney, but this was going to mark me as a scorned woman,” Yildirim said, according to the source. “Since I was going to get a bad reputation I decided to clean my honor and acted on killing him. I thought of suicide a lot but couldn’t do it.”

Yildirim said she was worried people would judge her children because of what happened, the source said.

“Now no one can call my children bastards,” she said, according to the source. “I cleaned my honor. Everyone will call them the children of the woman who cleaned her honor.”

The source said Yildirim went to a health clinic a while ago seeking an abortion, but health workers told her she was 14 weeks pregnant and abortion was not an option.

In Turkey, abortion is allowed during the first 10 weeks of pregnancy, after which it is permitted only to save the life or health of the mother or in cases of fetal impairment, Human Rights Watch said.

At her hearing, Yildirim said she doesn’t want to keep the baby and that she is ready to die, the source said. The public prosecutor’s office has ordered a medical examination to decide whether Yildirim may have an abortion and to assess her mental stability, the source said.

Yildirim’s father, Zekeriya Yildiz, told DHA his daughter did not report the alleged abuse to anyone in the family.

“If she would have told us, we would have taken other precautions,” he said.

Yildirim is in the local jail while she awaits trial.

In a report last year, Human Rights Watch decried gaps in Turkish law that it said leave women and girls unprotected from domestic abuse. Some 42% of women older than 15 in Turkey and 47% of rural women have experienced physical or sexual violence at the hands of a husband or partner at some point in their lives, the group said.

“She has lived through a terrible trauma. She must be charged with self-defense,” said Gursel Oztunali Kayir, a sociologist at Akdeniz University and a member of Antalya Women Support Organization.
    —-
She’ll probably get charged with murder, as an example to keep other women from thinking they could try stand up for their honor and try the same thing. Only the men have the right to defend a woman’s honor, watch and see.

    Makes me sick.

  27. Samari Says:

Americans are fucked up too. The whole world is sick.

  28. Move On Says:

    Dear MoveOn member,

This is stunning: A New York Times analysis just released calculated that if everyone who is registered to vote actually votes, President Obama has an astronomical 91% chance of winning re-election. 91%!
How? With the same huge turnout of voters we saw in 2008. But will it actually happen? “Unlikely,” says the Times.1
Well, we’re going to do something about that—something big that only MoveOn can do.
We’re working with Workers’ Voice to create the largest independent get-out-the-vote operation in the country. There’s nothing else like it. Because no one else has our 7 million members combined with the enormous resources of the nationwide labor movement.
Together, using incredibly sophisticated technology that I explain below, we’ll boost the number of progressive voters on Nov. 6. This could truly mean the difference between victory and defeat.
But to make it happen—to keep Romney and Ryan far away from the White House—we need to raise $600,000 this week. Can you help?
Around election time, you’ve probably seen those folks with clipboards who go door-to-door, talking to people about the candidates. Research shows that this face-to-face communication is dramatically more effective than big-budget TV ads. It’s by far the best way to get voters to the polls.
Our approach with Workers’ Voice this year uses some rocket science called real-time response targeting, enabling us not merely to identify voters who might be undecided, but to pinpoint the people who are actually being persuaded and mobilized by a conversation with our volunteers and then to adjust our targeting to find more voters we can persuade. One canvasser can now do the work of five.
This is a unique opportunity, because it offers enormous bang for the buck. We’ll win votes for far less than ever before, giving the edge to President Obama and progressive candidates all over the country. Can you help us make this happen?

  29. Durar Says:

We women that live under men who use religion to enslave them. Those same men can get away with killing another man or any woman relative who “embarrasses the man’s family.

The men are definitely afraid that if they give women the right to defend themselves their easy rapes will have serious consequences.

    Durar

  30. Fida Says:

I am loving it. I fled to America because I was raped and my family felt it would be better to murder me than to go after the well connected family the man belonged to.

That was 9 years ago with I was 12. I have been praying every day for justice. This statement by the victim is a start.
    ———————

Witnesses described Yildirim walking into the village square, carrying the man’s head by his hair, blood dripping on the ground.

“Don’t talk behind my back, don’t play with my honor,” Yildirim said to the men sitting in the coffee house on the square. “Here is the head of the man who played with my honor.”
    ————————–
For those of you interested in a picture of the head. I know I loved seeing the bastard’s head. Here’s the link.

  31. Nellie Says:

This poor lady is amazing, OMG, what people have to go through we should never have too..

  32. Ida Says:

What is telling is that he knew that cultural norms would back him. That’s why we cannot allow Ryan and his buddies — male and female — to hold office because they want to change cultural norms via legislation. Redefining rape is just one example.

  33. Charlotte Says:

That is one tough chick who proves that when a woman has had enough, she has had enough

  34. Marylou Says:

Two remarks for the Muslim and Christian fundamentalists around us:

For the Muslims : I thought the veil was a way to “protect” the women. Obviously it’s not working….
For the Christians: Obviously a woman can be impregnated by her rapist…

  35. MG Says:

My mother is a Turkish immigrant and she wanted an abortion, too. Unfortunately, she never cut off my father’s head.

  36. Hans Says:

Aren’t you glad to be alive in America?

  37. Keno Says:

Isn’t he a relative? I wonder what the husband’s Aunt thinks about all this and what are the repercussions to her family’s honor . . .

  38. Teresa Says:

Well he demanded head and she handed it to him.

  39. Beverly Says:

She exercised her female body parts to ‘shut that whole thing down.’. Just not the parts Akin had in mind.

  40. Dia Says:

From the story, her biggest concern was her children’s honor; it’s an all too-familiar tale: women endure horrible abuse until the point that their children are threatened. I hope that she’s right that this action prevented her children from being shamed.

  41. Victor Says:

I know there are alot of women that get pregnant from their rapist’s and i’m sure it is really hard but to abort a child that did nothing and never asked to be created in the first place would be so cruel.

It is not the babies fault that it was created.Have the baby and give it up for adoption because that would be the right thing to do then the baby could grow up being loved by a family that couldn’t have children and it would never know that it was created in sin.

Every one is innocent when they are created and it is what they choose to do in life that sets them apart from everyone else.

    Just my opinion ;)

  42. Munir Says:

…why in all these Islamic societies women get blamed for being raped,…”

Turkey is Muslim but its law is exactly the same as in any western country. Yet, a significant percentage of people in Turkey view adultery and rape in the Islamic cultural context.

Neither Islam nor the Western Law views rape lightly. It is a lie that Islam considers rape the fault of the woman. In Islam, the rapist cannot offer a defense that the woman consented, or that he thought she consented. Accepting that sex occurred is enough to convict him.

If the woman actually consented, but the prosecutor cannot prove that she did, she is to be acquitted.

In other words the rapist cannot escape conviction by claiming consent, while the woman would go scot-free even if she consent but her consent cannot be proven.

In Islam the crime is sexual contact outside of wedlock. Rape is both a sexual contact outside of wedlock and a sexual act without consent, and therefore twice the offence. That is, the man bears twice the burden.

In this specific case, the man is dead. There is no doubt that he was murdered. If one believes the woman it was a justifiable homicide, if at all the homicide can ever be justifiable. What if she is a cold blooded murderer, who just got tired of her lover?

She should be charged with taking the law in her own hand. Wouldn’t there be chaos if vigilante justice becomes common place?

  43. Alice Says:

Victor, of course you are right about babies, BUT FETUSES ARE NOT BABIES, that’s why they are called fetuses. You’re not a baby till you are born, get over it.

And leave women with difficult choices to make to make them without big government butting into their personal issues.

If you fucking men could get pregnant, this wouldn’t be an issue. But it is so easy to dictate to someone else when you will never have to be faced with consequences.

Non unlike the mormon who gets a deferment because his religion makes him and his male children priest. So easy for those bastards to be gungho. They have nothing to risk but other people’s children and loved ones.

  44. Salene Says:

Thank you! I am also sick of hearing about being put up for adoption. Do people actually believe that ALL babies and kids are adopted AND put into loving homes???

I was adopted by pedophiles that used me for 11 years. Fuck you sick men. If I had the nerve of that young lady, I”d cut your tiny head off and shove it down your throat before I severed your ignorant head from it.

    Salene

  45. Brittany Says:

Regardless of what you call it – “sweet little divine gift from jebus” of “clump of nasty parasitic cells” – it just doesn’t matter: if it’s in my body and I want it out, my rights trump the rights of whatever is inside me. Period.

It’s for no one else to decide other than the person carrying it. If you belive the government has the right to make those decisions, then realize that it has the right to go quite the other way – and then allow me to introduce my no child policy for anyone who fails this test I’ve devised to see if you have the right to raise children….

  46. John Says:

You sluts want to be able to spread your legs and have your fun. When it comes time to pay the price for your sins, you want to flush it down the toilet.

God has a place in hell for you. But as long as I have a vote and the power to organize for those politicians who will allow no abortions for ANY reason, you will not be able to kill your babies, fetuses, or life upon conception.

    John

  47. Roberta Says:

While I understand what you are saying, at the same time…who will help that woman for the nine months she is pregnant? It costs money, for one thing, it can shake up her life and even ruin personal relationships because of the trauma involved. It puts a large burden on the woman for those nine months.

  48. Jimmy Says:

The GOP hates women, jews, mex, blacks, and young folks.

  49. Claire Says:

Mittwitt was appointed by the leaders of the GOP…..it had nothing to do with the people/voters…..it was which candidate could be controlled the easiest and which candidate was willing to sell their soul to be their guy and the spokesman of the GOP…

He didn’t have to be smart, or know anything or even a republican …..he just had to be pliable…..and if you want something bad enough….some will sell their souls to the devil…..just ask George Bush!

  50. Donna Says:

The DNC came across as so much more passionate, believable, and spoke to the middle class, as well as the diversity of our nation as opposed to all the old white men that were at the Republican convention. Did Romney really think that Clint Eastwood’s “Ode to a Chair” was going to play well with Republicans, not to metion Democrats?

  51. Mark Says:

The DNC was so kind to all those who flunked the Bell Curve.. The DNC let them in w/o a Photo ID.

  52. Howard Says:

Well Kat Lib, You had slick willy there to speak on behave of the president. One of two presidents that’s been impeached in our countries history.

He was on the Sex Scandel list here on Huff Post, until he decided to help Obama, then his picture, and name was removed.

You also had that chick that needs free rubbers, and paper bags for her head do some talking. I forget if Rev. Wright was there to sing God D.. America, Land that….

Lets get serious here. We need someone with business skills to help the nation, the economy has been borrowed to where it’s at, unemployment is sky high.

If we borrow much more, and the bottom falls out of it, guess what gang. It’s time to work our way out, and stop borrowing money. Where’s our pride?

    Romney Ryan 2012

  53. Tom Says:

MSNBC beat out the other networks because no one was watching! The conservatives and independents have all heard it before and their vomit meters are on overflow.

The Dems couldn’t even fill up the outdoor stadium because even their own party is sick of hearing this guy talk. That’s all he does is talk.

Action would be great but too little too late. O is done regardless of how his minions try to slice it up. Bring on the election today and let’s get this circus over with for the America people still out of work, on food stamps and living with their kids! Enough already.

  54. Jules Says:

The main difference between Democrats and Republicans when it comes to nominating someone for President.

….Democrats pick someone that inspires them and get’s the base excited, but may not necessarily win.

….Republicans only pick a person they think can win, they could care less about inspiration and excitement.

That’s why Romney may loose the election, he does not reflect excitement, inspiration, and just plain overwhelming joy, after 4 years Obama still sends out of all these feelings and then some.

If or when Obama wins the election, in 2016 if the Republicans don’t bring someone new to the table a Democrat will win in 2016….and that Dem will be our first female President, either Hilary or Warren.

  55. Roger Says:

“BURIANI, OBAMA.” That’s “Arrivederci” in Swahili.

  56. Elliot Says:

“Dreams of His Father?” Barack, Sr., took one look and ran for the hills muttering, in Swahili, “666″; “666″; “666;”

  57. anonymous Says:

It’s quite evident, through all of the people that chime in here, why aliens view the human specie like we do our cattle, (or any other living being on the planet, actually). I mean listen to you people, from all parts of the world…it’s insane. Then conveniently hiding behind a religion to rationalize the insanity…

  60. D3 Buy Gold Says:

Sorry but i powerfully disagree. -Fast travel isn’t limited whatsoever.. and actually easy fast travel as with Skyrim kills any and all sense of adventure and of destroys the feelign to get a really large expose world.. backtracking in DD is just what made the game earth feel alive and livelier.. you actually had to schedule your long distance travels and stock ahead of when going out into mother nature.. that said.. you can make particular person fast travel network by way of DD that allwos that you should travel around very fast.. it just takes significant thought, gold and effort to make.. think hard and you will pick it up. -As fro randomness.. there is randomness amongst gamers, the Griffon attacked us outside Gransys only throughout the quest involving it.. i other griffons roaming around the world of Gran Soren.. and many locations have different monsters depending on the time of day and your progress through the case.. i visited places that had only monster type (back button).. then later visited them on to find more monster alternate options.. not to mention.. after the Dragon beat everything changes 180 college diplomas. -The game had the most fresh and interesting video gaming.. i’m baffled people are saying its quests lack creativity.. really!!!?.. the Thief quest, The Trial quest, The Magic Tome Journey.. etc etc.. these are many quests amongst players break the norm are usually really fun and totally different from most quests in RPGs.. heck.. even escort quests allow me to share fantastic.. you really have to take into account which battles to end up in and which to avoid when you’re escorting someone.. cause if you on an escorted person to a cyclops fight they may get stomped and killed very quickly.. so if you see a cyclops in the distance you’ll want to think of a method for preventing any contact with it and discover an alternative path to insure the safety of yuor escorted guest.. even kill (x) quests are fun fun when it involves cyclops, golems and chimeras. There is thing holding farmville back other than lack of polish is the people’s inadequate imagination and wanting to be fed everything by business golden spoon XD

  61. Diablo 3 Legendary Says:

Programexpert nailed it. The article also references Gamestop like a apart of the alliance and that i challenge everyone here to visit for a few the Gamestops near you and (if you live old enough to remember) compare their selection of PC games to how it was 5-6 years previous. In just about a daily store it’s dropped from at a WALL section to a bit two-sided pushcart rack.
