Sarah Silverman Mocks Voter ID Laws

Good morning!

This is the best explanation of voter fraud. If it wasn’t so scary and true, it would be even funnier.

Sarah Silverman Mocks Voter ID Laws With 2012 Election PSA (VIDEO)

Sarah Silverman isn’t taking the voter ID laws complicating the 2012 election lightly. After all, who’s going to look out for black people, poor people, old people and students if not America’s potty-mouthed comedic sweetheart?

Making it illegal to vote without a photo ID is supposed to prevent voter fraud, but as Sarah points out in this NSFW PSA, some politicians like Rep. Mike Turzai (R-PA) really want voter ID laws in place to prevent certain demographics from voting (for Barack Obama). Also, what exactly is all this “voter fraud” we’re supposed to be so afraid of?

“Oh yeah, all that crazy ‘voter fraud’ that’s going around. There’s so much ‘fraud’ around that free, anonymous civil right,” she jokes.

If that weren’t enough, Sarah points out that U.S. Veteran photo ID cards, social security cards and student IDs are not accepted under the laws, but you can use gun permit IDs. You just can’t make this stuff up.

Watch Sarah’s PSA above and go to http://letmypeoplevote2012.com for more information.

*******

Readers: I know…I know…it is frustrating to hear all that is going on with voting…all the disenfranchisement, and yet nothing is happening to prevent it and protect the voters from these “ballot bandits” ( no I didn’t coin that term – wish I did :) Why aren’t the Dems telling it like it is? Why is no one telling people that they have the right to vote and this is what you can do if you are harassed or suppressed. So I’m going to tell you.  If you are harassed while voting or suppressed from voting by anyone. Make sure that you get their name first and then tell them that you are going to report them to the FBI. And then do it.  We can’t let these LSOS “ballot bandits”, who are the only ones committing voter fraud, get away with stealing and preventing you and anyone else from voting.

    Systemic Detoxification Helps Hormonal Imbalances

In order for a weight loss supplement like raspberry ketone to assist in losing belly fat, the direct need to remove the heavy metal toxicity most of us are experiencing becomes a vital necessity.

Hormonal imbalances can result from the accumulation of toxins in the body which inadequately allow the body to self-heal and repair itself. The main side effects of an over-burdened body exposed to toxicity on a daily basis are hormonal imbalances which often result in unwarranted weight gain.

The vital need to detoxify the toxins and excess waste from the body should be your top priority. Body toxicity creates the imbalance of hormone chemicals which can negatively create everything from; obesity, depression, diabetes, growth abnormalities, aging, infertility, mood swings, heart disorders, sleep apnea and high cholesterol if over exposed and not dealt with.

This is where proper diet and additional nutritional supplements such as raspberry ketone pure can help the body rid itself of toxins which allow for a healthier internal environment so the body can naturally heal, repair, and rejuvenate.

Providing the body with a natural, wholefood diet full of fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds can allow the body to systemically detox and cleanse.

Once you begin a proper regime for detoxification and cleansing you will begin to feel lighter and notice your energy levels begin to rise while the weight loss begins.

This is why your new lifestyle should be looked as a therapeutic way of existence, in that taking the necessary accountable actions to detoxify daily and limit exposure to toxins to reduce body toxicity will correct any hormone balances which in turn allow your body to flush toxins and excess weight.

    How Fat Loss Really Works

No matter the occasion or discussion, anytime weight loss is the topic of choice half of us

immediately feel like we have been smacked in the face due to misguided and misconstrued health information available.
Outwardly speaking, that is half the battle most of us are dealing with today on a personal basis.

Whether it be the new product of the month like raspberry ketone presented by Dr OZ, or past examples we mentioned briefly, the lose weight options we have to chose from today can quickly become overwhelming.

A medical doctor at the infamous Mayo Clinic was quoted saying, “Ninety-nine percent of people who lose weight will lose it in the abdominal region before anywhere else and will lose proportionately more weight from the upper body.”

The fact behind this statement is fat is gained around all of your main internal organs which are located in the stomach region. Not to get to technical, but the fat positioned deep inside your belly at the waistline is known as visceral fat, which is different than subcutaneous fat which is under the skin. The visceral fat is much more metabolically active which means it is easier to shed that fat around the belly.

This reveals the fact of why many belly fat diets advertised are nothing more than fad diets that at best produce short term results and result in quick weight gain if neglecting the diet theory. This is where the published health benefits of raspberry ketones can come into play as they directly target these hard to reach areas.

One of the most practical diets to follow is 80% plant and 20% meat. Adjusting your diet relatively close to these numbers if you’re a heavy meat eater should help weight loss immediately.

Many plants and herbal remedies are the best natural route to take for your weight loss plans. With all of the recent attention exposed on raspberry ketones, they are proving to be a quick fix in aiding on the reduction of fat producing tendencies.

However, it is no secret that successful, long term weight loss results are experienced when caloric restriction is in moderation and physical activity is increased. This is why the absolute need to move into a new paradigm shift of thinking of weight loss as therapeutic gives is a sustainability that will last a lifetime.
Therapuetic and Sustainable Weight Loss Advice

The first call to action you need to address is learning how to properly manage your emotional stress.

Effectively learning how to deal with your emotional stresses and not letting them get to the best of you can go along way towards a therapeutic lifestyle and legitimate weight loss plan.

The next step is having REAL CONFIDENCE in your weight loss goals, plans, and ability. Not everyone has to have a picture perfect Hollywood figure to start to feel the amazing health benefits an effective weight loss journey can bring. Most people start their weight loss path with unrealistic goals and want to look like the women below.

Stress is the number one problem that underlies all major health concerns as actively participating in stress releasing techniques will provide far more beneficial weight loss results than raspberry ketones by themselves.

One unique viewpoint of people with weight issues from a nutritional health consultant said that peers encouraging individuals to like themselves was extremely helpful, motivating, and encouraging.
Being serious about your weight loss path does not have to be impossible and consume your life.

Let’s review the 5 simple weight loss actions aside from raspberry ketone supplementation you can take to begin today:
    -Reduce Toxicity & Radiation Exposure
    -Detoxify and Cleanse Daily
    -Reduce & Manage Emotional Stress
    -Natural, Fresh, Wholefoods Diet
    -Balance your Hormones

These are the top 5 natural, life changing weight loss advice and tips you can start adapting and incorporating into your daily lifestyle and dietary habits.

When you start to grasp the simplicity life can bring when you become healthier by the day, consuming natural, fresh wholefoods diet along with plenty of rest and exercise, suddenly weight loss is never an issue.

It merely becomes an act of pure optimization in helping shape, mold, and become exactly what it is you want to do with your body and health.

Well raspberry ketones are not necessarily some overnight success or one hit wonder. Being mentioned on popular day time tv show Dr Oz, Raspberry Ketone being touted as a miracle fat burner has blazed the internet ever since that took place.

Dr Oz #1 Fat Burning Supplement is Raspberry Ketone

    Link: http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/miracle-fat-burner-bottle

Do Raspberry Ketones Help With Natural Weight Loss?
This is the number one reason you are here, searching to find out the truth about raspberry ketones as a viable weight loss ingredient and supplement.

Raspberries in general have long been known for their health enhancing benefits and natural, organic fruit has always had a detoxification (or weight loss) effect on the body when regularly consumed.

Most people are worried about the fructose, or natural sugars, in fruits such as blueberries and raspberries.

Having ate raspberries on a regular basis for a year straight, I can confidently say they have gave me weight loss results. With more research and especially since Dr Oz gave mention of raspberries weight loss effects, its the active ingredient known as raspberry ketone(s) that most effect the weight loss benefits.

    Truth About Natural Weight Loss

Even though raspberry ketone and natural raspberries may help lose weight, there are many other changes you can make to your dietary habits and overall lifestyle choices. Eliminating your heavy metal toxicity, systemic detoxification and cleansing, and replenishing and rejuvenating on a daily basis will have very trans-formative properties in your life.

Weight Gain is mainly caused by three primary culprits:

    1) nutrient deficiencies = overeating.
2) environmental pollution = heavy metal toxicity
3) un-natural “fast foods” = un-natural ingredients = un-natural digestion = poor elimination

You see the body’s first line of defense against toxicity are fatty acids, they can come in and essentially engulf the body’s toxins as a defense mechanism so they do not cause damage. The idea is that you will soon flush them out with proper nutrition and foods.

This is why the rise and popularity of whole and raw foods have came about. The body looks at everything from the garden as natural and a asset, where everything that comes with labels and boxes are usually toxic by nature in the way they were made and put together.

Without sounding like a health coach and advising on how to eat and live properly if you want to stay healthy, the key to real weight loss starts with your dietary habits and food selection.

Then you must get some form of exercise to help stimulate the endocrine and nervous systems which help with detoxification and cleansing the body is fully capable of doing provided it has a good internal environment.

The problem most fail to acknowledge or accept is that heavy metals, environmental pollution and toxicity are caused by invisible influences that many of us are simply unaware of on a daily basis.

If you are unable or have no access to natural, wholefoods then supplementing with the known raspberry ketone ingredient that has been proven (and recently approved on the Dr OZ Tv Show in Feb 2012) can be a great alternative.

Using a raspberry ketone supplement for weight loss benefits will be a hot topic due to how it was recognized by the mainstream population. Let’s hope people can catch on to the seriousness that proper health and diet and lifestyle can lead to.

Being proactive and making better than average health choices can have a profound impact on how your life unfolds.

So to answer the question of Why Raspberry Ketones or does it actually work, the answer is yes, there are plenty of sources and sites pointing to the fact it does.

Also, eating raspberries naturally has been known to help activate and stimulate the release of toxins from the body. Due to all the exposure we have of environmental toxins and pollution, cleansing the body on a regular basis is the key to your wellness.

Raspberry Ketones are just one aspect, and to label them a miracle fat burner may be a bit of a marketing ploy but the truth is eating right (which may include supplements), moving right, and believing it can happen is the best place to start. Check out our raspberry ketones information page as well.

  3. Kerry Says:

Great job Michelle being on top of the important issues of the day.
I guest the Pennsylvania judge saw the same video you played today.
    ========================
HARRISBURG, Pa. — A judge postponed Pennsylvania’s controversial voter identification requirement on Tuesday, ordering the state not to enforce it in this year’s presidential election but allowing it to go into full effect next year.
    ========================
At last a judge who wasn’t bought off, let logic prevail.

    Kerry

  4. Shaun Says:

As America grows it will also grow out of Republican ideals and views this voter suppression manifested because their audience is shrinking sooner or later their will be no audience to entertain their extreme misguided and misinformed agenda

  5. Gordon Says:

Michelle, your video showed the judge just how ridiculous the Republicans were.

Now vote as it your life depends on it. Because, it actually does.

  6. Pedro Says:

Michelle, that’s for reminding us just how criminal the Right is.

Thank god the judge saw it too.

    Suck on that Romney.

  7. Mark Says:

PA sent out all of the those leaflets a couple of weeks ago telling all to be sure to bring ID to the polls if they wanted to vote. I wonder who paid for that mailing. It was a waste of money.

  8. Manuel Says:

Mitt won’t be able to steal votes in PA this time.

  9. Juanita Says:

Voter ID laws only make sense if getting a state issued ID is free and easy. Each time I have moved to a new state in the last 20 years I spent at least 2 hours in line at the DMV to get a new drivers license. The wait was equally long for state issued IDs. That time suck is not easy or trivial for people who work.

  10. Doris Says:

Let’s not get too excited by this one ruling in PA. Let’s remember that this is (pardon the expression) a “bump in the road” for the Republican machine which is grinding away at voter rights and will do ANYHING to make sure that Mr. Romney wins this election.

ANYTHING means whatever they can come up with to stop people from voting. This judge’s actions are correct, but please, folks, don’t stop fighting for the other states where the laws are being put into place to stop a voting block and don’t become complacent that the Republican machine cannot get around this ruling. Remember the Gore/Bush election in 2000!

  11. Larry Says:

Our 236 year old democratic experiment survives another challenge from the dark forces of extremism, hate, and ignorance. It is a history of one step back, two forward. From slavery to Jim Crow to the civil rights and voter act.

Lauren Zander On Living In an Imperfect World: Are You Being Small?

Ever go to a restaurant with someone who asked for, say, extra onions in his salad and then had a fit because he didn’t think that he received enough—embarrassing both you and the waitress in the process?

Chances are, this is the same guy who blows his top when he is forced to sit in traffic for more than 30 seconds.

And he’s the one who will reprimand you if you don’t return one of his phone calls within 24 hours.

I’m not this guy…but on occasion, even I find myself stewing about things that don’t matter.

The other day, I spent a good three minutes venting to a friend about why on Earth companies continue to make ketchup packets that are impossible to open and produce so little ketchup that they’re hardly worth opening in the first place. I almost placed a call to the Heinz CEO, but my friend told me that I was being ridiculous (as she should have).

At some point in time, we all catch ourselves “sweating the small stuff,” so to speak. It isn’t fun—so why do we do it? What’s to be gained by going on and on about such insignificant matters?

I called life coach Lauren Zander, a regular Daily Health News contributor, to talk about why we do this and how we can make ourselves stop.

    BEHIND BEING SMALL

People dwell on small stuff for lots of different reasons, Zander told me. Sometimes it’s a perfectionist inside that surfaces when the tiniest things aren’t just right.

Perfectionists often strive for a sense of control over their surroundings, so any lack of control tends to rattle them and cause anxiety.

And, truthfully, perfectionists do get a reward from fussing over itty-bitty things. It’s a holier-than-thou feeling that whispers to them that they are better than other people.

Others obsess over small things because they’re copying what they saw their parents do while they were growing up, Zander said. They don’t necessarily feel superior because of it—it just feels natural and normal.

But it does take up their time—time that could be spent much more productively.

Some people simply suffer from entitlement—they feel more deserving than those around them, and, therefore, even a slight annoyance or inconvenience is considered a great injustice.

Zander mentioned that harping on small stuff could also be a sign of depression, anxiety or anger about something totally unrelated.

For example, perhaps someone is actually upset because he’s going through a divorce or his mother is dying, but instead of talking about the “big” issue that’s bothering him, he transfers his negative feelings and complains about “small” issues instead.

Finally, some of us harp on small grievances purely to make conversation. For instance, when I complain to my friends about the media’s overuse of exclamation points and call this habit “exclamation inflation,” I’m not truly annoyed—in reality, I’m just trying to give my friends a laugh.

If your intent is simply to entertain and it happens only now and then, then these sorts of complaints aren’t so harmful to you and others. But if you tend to stress about lots of little things—to the point where your friends groan or don’t want to hang out with you because you’re a Debbie Downer—then you may need a mind-set makeover.

    OVERCOME TRIVIAL THINKING

One problem with this bad habit is that you don’t always notice when you’re doing it. The first step is to raise your level of self-awareness, and you can do that with the help of your friends.

Ask them to give you some sort of signal whenever you start latching onto something minor—maybe they can say, “John, you’re doing it again,” or give you a certain look or tap your elbow discreetly in public.

The more that you recognize your behavior, the easier it will be to stop it.

Then, when you notice yourself getting annoyed over, say, how your shirt wasn’t pressed very well or how your nail polish is chipping, take a moment to put your concern into perspective.

Think about how lucky you are—and about all the people in the world who are struggling to simply live another day.

(Volunteering weekly or monthly may help you learn how to think less about yourself and more about others—you could try working at a senior center, animal shelter or soup kitchen.)

Then rank on a scale of one to 10 where your current problem falls, with 10 being “having no food, water, shelter or safety” and one being “I lost my library card.” You might just find that your big problem isn’t so big after all.

  13. Jack Says:

People, in the words of my man in “Pulp Fiction” let’s not start sucking each others’ dicks right now.

The judge just stopped the law for THIS election.

  14. Brenda Says:

I agree with you Jack, this was the same judge who had gone along with the criminals who were trying to suppress the vote of those who wouldn’t vote for them.

He was forced to change his mind because the PA state supreme court him to.

The Right will not be deterred. The will continue to pursue the issue of voter suppression because that is their only way of preserving their party.

  15. Donna Says:

I missed my opportunity to get in when the discussion was about mother daughter relationships. I liked Zen Lill’s comment. As usual her comments are well thought out.

I wanted to say that I don’t need to “mother” my adult daughter. I think you’ve done something very wrong if you think that it’s a permanent job mothering your children.

I am very proud of my daughter’s ability to provide for herself and build her own life. I would be ashamed if she still needed me to be her moral authority.

    Finding a Work-at-Home Job

Most Are Scams, But These 7 Are For Real

A growing number of employers are willing to use home-based employees, assuming those employees have access to a phone, computer and high-speed Internet connection.

That’s good news for people with disabilities or who are caring for children or an elderly relative or who live in an area where jobs are scarce. It’s also good news for people who could find work outside the home but prefer to spend more time with their families and less time sitting in traffic.

The bad news is that there are roughly 60 “work from home” job scams on the Internet for each legitimate opportunity, according to our research.

Here’s how to avoid the scams and land a good work-at-home position…

    LANDING WORK-AT-HOME JOBS

Tweak your résumé before you start applying for work-at-home jobs. Stress any work experience that shows that you can work productively without direct supervision or handle projects outside the workplace.

Be sure to mention any experience you have with communications technology, such as videoconferencing tools and tablet computers.

If your work history is light on projects outside the workplace, consider taking a virtual volunteer position and listing this on your résumé.

    Example:
The United Nations Volunteers program offers plenty of volunteer-from-home opportunities and looks impressive on a résumé (www.OnlineVolunteering.org).

Interviews for online positions often are conducted via phone or Skype video call. If you are not naturally comfortable speaking on the phone or you lack experience with Skype video calls, practice with friends before the interview.

    Helpful:
If the interview is a Skype video call, make sure that the backdrop behind you is uncluttered and looks professional.

Pay typically is $9 to $12 an hour, though it can reach $20 an hour or more.

    2. Internet ad assessors conduct Internet searches and make sure that search results are appropriate for the search terms used. Extensive tech skills are not needed—just basic Internet skills.

Companies hiring home-based workers in this area include Google (on http://www.Google.com/about/jobs, search for the job “Ad Rater”)…Lionbridge (on http://www.Lionbridge.com, select “Jobs,” then “Work-at-Home Opportunities”) and Leapforce (www.LeapforceAtHome.com). Pay is about $10 to $15 per hour.

    3. Web site testers visit Web sites and record their impressions of those sites. It’s like being part of a focus group except that you can do it from home.

Employers offering home-based employment in the field include Userlytics (on http://www.Userlytics.com, select “Join Our Tester Panel” near the bottom of the page) and UserTesting.com (on http://www.UserTesting.com, select “We’re Hiring!” near the bottom of the page, click the link under “User Tester”).

    5. Virtual task freelancers perform chores posted on Web sites such as TaskRabbit.com. Some of the chores require travel and thus are not appropriate for the exclusively home-based—picking up a client’s dry cleaning or assembling new IKEA furniture, for example. But others can be performed from home, such as conducting online research or doing data entry.

Job seekers typically bid on tasks. If their bid is accepted, they are paid directly by the individual or company that needs the work done.

Comparable Web sites include Amazon’s Mechanical Turk (www.MTurk.com) and Clickworker (www.Clickworker.com). Also, the site Fiverr (www.Fiverr.com) lets people post tasks that they’re willing to perform for $5.

Some of the companies that hire home-based transcriptionists include Tigerfish (www.Tigerfish.com/employment.html)…Ubiqus (on http://www.Ubiqus.com, select “Working For Us”)…and Cambridge Transcriptions (www.CTran.com/employment).

The pay for transcriptionists can vary with typing speed but generally is around $10 per hour.

    7. Freelance posters are paid to post content to blogs. Topics vary widely, depending on the theme of the blog.

Pay can range from a few dollars per post to $50 and beyond, and usually is made directly to the poster by the owner of the blog. Short posts on generic themes such as lifestyle and fashion generally pay less, while specialized posts requiring more research (on economic issues, for example) pay more.

These are listed on such Web sites as Problogger.net (click on “Jobs”) and BloggingPro.com (click on “Job Board”)…Postloop (on http://www.Postloop.com, click “Join”)…and Wired Flame (on http://www.WiredFlame.com, select “Writers”).

One thing the election of Barack Obama as president has brought the racism in this country that has been simmering and marinating over the years to a full seemingly unhealthy percolation.

Gee Whiz! Who knew it was this bad the governor is just beating the drum of that old familiar Southern Battle Cry “the South shall rise again” I realize it. Do you realize it?

Led by the GOP these people had power and control of the Country for 20-26 of the last 32yrs and look where Our Country is. Both parties have been gross mis-managers of whats best for the American people and were on the road to Civil War again.

Power and greed have ruled the day and the robber barons will sit back and drain, reap and count their profits from both sides in a Civil War.

Seeing the GOP’s actions since Obama’s election does anyone with sight see that these people may possibly be capable of being responsible for 9/11 if it produced the desired effect? I wouldn’t write it off given all the evidence at hand and their antics over the last 15 months.

Thank you, Donna, I would agree with you and anon#18.

Just to open another can of worms, those of you that felt that Steve Harvey’s book had value, I would challenge you to understand that he comes from a very American viewpoint as well as a religious viewpoint re: relationships and how women should run one, and marriage as more of the end game/goal. I prefer Esther Perel’s views, she is on youtube if you care to take a look and wrote a book called ‘Mating in Captivity’ an amazing Chapter 10 will give you all the info you need on what’s goes on in a marital/long term relationship, it’s an excellent read…a little more open in honoring your own values/morals (she’s French : )

    Luv, Zen Lill

  23. Mihiro Says:

Zen Lill, I am Japanese. I moved to Tokyo after my marriage ended three years ago. I have read both books. I married when I was 16 to a very wealthy family. My husband was 31. I was, as you Americans say “eye candy,” and later the mother of two boys and two girls.

During the last 4 years of our 10 year marriage, we saw more than a few marriage councilors. We had the benefit of Dr. Perel’s Rethinking Couples therapy in Paris and three years later her conflict resolution sessions in Geneva.

I was very pleased with her help, she freed me from my inhibitions and gave me a modern outlook on my sexuality as a female.

But now that I am a divorced woman in the dating scene, I will tell you that Mr. Harvey had the best advice in the area of pre marital relations.

When a female is in the world of dating and she is selecting men for companionship or as a precursor to marriage, Mr. Harvey gives the best advice.

If one is married or with a partner, then Dr. Perel’s advice is wonderful. But if you are a woman starting out or one getting back into the dating scene, Mr. Harvey ‘s advice about Vetting a potential bed mate is so essential and so logical that it defies belief that an intelligent woman would think otherwise.

Since I have started using Mr. Harvey’s advice my dating life has simplified considerably. Once I’ve convinced my girls to ignore the western religious crap of the book and read it for practical application to their selection of men, they too have said “it works!”

As Mr. Harvey says we have the “Benefits.” Until a woman believes that and operates as such she is playing a man’s game in his world.

Try as we may, we are still operating in a system devised by men and run by men. Choosing to behave as men by jumping into sex because we are “Liberated” merely gives the man what he is in the relationship for in the first place our “Benefit.”

That “benefit” is sex. Men want sex from a woman. Women want partnership from a man. A woman gains nothing but a brief release by sleeping with a man before she has vetted him for at least 90 days.

In any circumstance before that 90 day period only the man benefits. He gets her ‘Benefit” without her having learned whether he is worth her giving it to him.

I have several men I date now. Some are approaching that 90 day period and others have passed it. Only those who have met the requirements of that vetting period(I have added a few to Mr. Harvey’s list) qualify for this lady’s “Benefit.”

Life is so much simpler when the lies and manipulation of the dance for sex is removed from its equation. Men are easier to see through and the chances of discovering the man you thought was so perfect is actually a LSOS approaches 100%.

Why, because you vetted him. You discovered the things that are easily missed when you are sleeping with him. You have the time to be more critical of his presentation of who he is to you because he is trying to convince you that he is someone you should give your “Benefit” to.

The little clues and cues that the Psychologists, like Ester Perel, tell you about after you have gone through hell with the man, you can see BEFORE the relationship gets that involved, if a woman takes the time to vet the creep for at least 90 days before she gives him her “Benefit.”

When a woman tells herself that she doesn’t need to vet a man 90 days to know if he is going to work out, she is just playing the game the way the man has designed it.

Sure some of the creeps are obvious, but the ones you marry and discover later to be creeps aren’t. As Mr Harvey says, most women vet their hair dressers more than they do a man they give their bodies to.

  24. Oakley Says:

I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of republicans acting as if they are the only ones concerned about America.

It is so hypocritical especially theirs is the party that will drop the concern of the state for the rewards of gaining political office whenever it is convenient.

McCain picked Palin as his running mate while hypocritically running on the slogan “Country First.” I guess when it came to getting elected, “me first,” trumped “Country First.”

The same can be said for those house members who plotted to destroy America’s economy to insure Obama would be a one term president.

Most of my family are republican. They are a sorry bunch of racists masquerading as “patriots.” The only reason they support that idiot and flip flopper Romney is because he is white.

I lie to them every day as they lie to the world about who they are. I will be voting Obama, and if there just a few more like me, he will get that second term.

He was in it for the sex and he got it. What exactly did you get, dick? Excuse, a woman can get dick on any corner. A man can’t unless he is willing to pay for it, and even then he needs to know how to go about buy it.

Yet, we women spread our legs for the first hot line we get. Yes, there is plenty for us western women to learn from the East.

    Thanks for your perspective Mihiro.

  31. Chloe Says:

Mihiro, I read that book, I laughed and gave it to my sister. She read it and called me praising it and saying she would never sleep with a man again until she had been with him for at least 90 days.

I laughed, ended the phone conversation and went back to sleep. That was more than a year ago. She is doing fine, me I’m still having men issues.

Maybe there is something to that book. just sayin.

  32. Helena Says:

I know the guy, he is warning women about men like him. Ignore that religious bullshit he put in the book. But how can a woman lose by making a man wait for 90 days before she fucks him?

If he isn’t there after 90 days, he was full of shit anyway.

  33. Rose Says:

Harvey seems like he has no moral character at all….and he’s Captain Save A Ho for marrying his current wife whose ex husbands are convicted drug dealers. He will get what he deserves. He ain’t sh**, no matter how many books he sells….

  34. Veronica Says:

I have to say that since I stopped sleeping with men before that 90 day period, my life has improved one hundred percent. Sure I have had a few of those 90 day wonders go sour, but I no longer get used by the quickies.

But, as for that creep Steve Harvey, God don’t like ugly and Steve ain’t getting away with sh*t!

When I read about how terrible he treated his ex, How sad, but I always knew something wasn’t quite right about Steve!

  35. Amarie Says:

Why do people use this? I admit in MOST cases some things of the story can be manipulated when speaking on a relationship b/c in Most cases the issue the other person has felt MAY NOT have been properly communicated…

so yes theirs at least TWO sides of EVERY story but why can’t one of those sides be THE TRUTH!??? Her truth from what she knows may be that she stuck by this man’s side for years, heck decades and as soon as there was either an opportunity or a lack (in their relationship, excuse me MARRIAGE) he goes and sleeps with other women later to marry her.

That’s her truth b/c although Steve may have felt a lack (whether it was physical or emotional) he may have felt a lack therefore causing him to step out. But THE FACT (and LETTERS from the hoes) remains that he did what he did.

Her truth may be a little manipulated b/c it doesnt have EVERY single detail that Steve felt but THE TRUTH is in the FACTS and the FACTS are those letters, emails, and his new boo (excuse me WIFE).

Im not judging either one of them but I just want to get people who live by that (His side, her side, and the truth) thing understand that The TRUTH may actually be, in one of their “sides” and that’s usually the person with the FACTS and Timeline to match their information.

    Im just sayin.

  37. Zen Lill Says:

Mihiro, you had me with ‘ignore the religious stuff’ bc otherwise you are correct, there are those that will still be asses aftre 90 days but not likely, they vet themselves usually.
Perel has it wired down for the already involved and marrieds though. & singles would benefit by knowing the deal.
Isn’t it funny how being eye candy has so little to do with it, it’s how you handle the goods/your benefits.
& now you all know when you’ve chosen to be a FWB or a side salad just how that worked. You chose it by not vetting, although some women might be looking for this after a long term relationship or bc she is non-committal type herself and not vetting at all.
Well constructed story and advice, thanks for your two on the topic.
    Luv, Zen Lill

But, it is hard to argue against taking time to get to know a man before you fuck him. I don’t care how good a fuck you are, if the man is a creep, he is still a creep.

  40. Zen Lill Says:

    I’m with you, Mildred.
Steve Harvey is warning against men like himself and thankfully so. So, why do I meet so many women that have issues whether they vet 90 days or not? The ones that do fare better but the truth is men often lie through ‘ommission’ – I know men who have gone through the vetting process with a woman he considered a keeper and had a friend with benefits the entire time…I’m telling you, the whole relationship thing is ‘it’s complicated’ by definition. There are many types of modern versions of long term/marriage and many people who cheat bc they got themselves caught up in an emotional affair that went physical, and people question their own autonomy if they aren’t ‘allowed’ by a spouse to have a friend of the opposite sex. So, they decide to have that ‘friend’ and suddenly things blossom bc there will always be things a friend will understand better than your spouse, that’s a given…with divorce rates at 50% in US and with both sexes ‘cheating’ at high rates, I’m only suggesting that we rethink exactly what we might be looking for and from whom.
I’m not up for a remarriage, and a long term is nice if all is fairly easy maneuvering, though I do understand why men/women would opt for the less involved routes…
    Luv, Zen Lill

  41. Zen Lill Says:

Amarie, you are right, the truth is the truth – sides are often the perspective of others deciding whether he/she ‘deserved’ to step out bc he was a jerk/prick or she was a bitch/(you name it) and is therefore very subjective truth seeking.

Misch, great video and i’m going to make sure my momma has a gun license if that’s what it takes!

    Luv, Zen Lill

  42. Zen Lill Says:

I meant ‘step out’ bc from others perspectives the other party ‘deserved’ the step out bc of some behavior the speaker has deemed unacceptable in THEIR worldview.

Some people just cheat bc they have so much opportunity and men/women are constantly hitting on them.

Brittany, you said a woman can get dick on any corner, true enough, but she chose that dick and in that scenario if both parties were pleased with the ‘just sex’ that they snagged it doesn’t make either of them wrong for just getting fucked. Or perhaps i misunderstood your message…

    - ZL

  43. Zen Lill Says:

Listen, all relationship talk aside, if you aren’t in your own vortex (feelin’ good regardless of a man/woman in your life), we are very binary, feel good/feel bad, if you’re in something that has you in a not feeling good kind of way too often it requires that you leave it behind…pretty simple…vet that : ) – ZL

  44. Irene Says:

Zen Lill sure men will lie and there are many who will make it through the 90 day vetting. But common sense says you will eliminate the ones that don’t make the 90 days.

And also, women have to take it upon themselves to pay attention to the cues and clues that say the man isn’t worth a shit. When you say that some men have friends with benefits, many women can tell if a man is sleeping with someone else if she pays attention to the clues.

90 days or 9000 days won’t do any good if the woman refuses to pay attention to those “clues” and “cues” men exhibit when they are lying. Refusing to acknowledge those hints that say this guy isn’t all he is portraying, negates the benefit of making the man wait 90 days.

But common sense says that waiting any period eliminates those who are in for the quick lay. I don’t see any advantage for a woman financially or emotionally to giving her body to a man too early in the relationship.

And If a man can’t wait 90 days to have sex with a woman, that should eliminate him as a sincere partner in way you look at it.

    Irene

  45. Joyce Says:

Zen Lill, for a man the “less involved route” means convenient sex without the trappings that are required in a committed relationship.

What does a woman get out of that. She reserves her body for him until he finds a younger as dumb female to be “less involved” with.

Anyone who advises a woman to just fuck when she feels like it is an idiot or a man. A quick fuck never serves a woman well. To a woman it isn’t the quick fuck as much as it is WHO she is having the quick fuck with.
