Readers: Not a very interesting post, I know. But I wanted to make sure that all of you knew when the debates were happening. I am counting on you to make today’s post interesting. :) Blog me.
Ruth,SM: I have been seeing some comments from you lately, but haven’t had a moment to respond until now. This girl is goin’ as best as she can. As always, it is wonderful to see you here. How is everything? Miss you.
Kerry: Thanks. However he came to the conclusion, doesn’t matter to me as long as logic prevailed. This voter I.D. thing is just irking me to no end…and the fact that not much has been done when it is so obvious why this is happening is getting me even more riled.
I used to think that our government was pretty corrupt but covert about it, so we didn’t really know what was going on. Hence, all of the conspiracy theories. If you think it is happening, it probably is. Now there is nothing covert about the corruptness – conspiracy theories are alive, thriving, and blatant. If you think it is happening…all you have to do is look around and see that it is.
Gordon: It has been said and I sure HOPE people believe it and vote wisely, because I certainly do and will.
Got to run…the forum is now open. You know what to do.
Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.
Gratefully your blog host,

Genetically engineered cows are producing milk that is causing the human body to mutate and corrupting the organs in the human body to produce cancer cells at alarming rates.
The industry has so much invested in the cows that much money is being spent to keep the knowledge from the public. All the public has heard is that some of the cows milk has cause some allergies in some people.
Steer clear of any product or meat from those cows.

Try to keep the sea pressure level near 1009 mb. The earthquake do is part of the natural events and should not be averted.
Your llcc lies in an area of strong (25-30 knot) northerly vertical wind shear in the gradient between an upper-level trough to the northeast and an upper-level ridge to the northwest.
Venturing to far out of your assigned area could prevent you from applying a tutt cell over the system. Unless it is done properly you will have trouble further suppressing the convection.

MikeTm, good info, no wonder I don’t do cow products anymore.
I will defer to the last 2 women who spoke on the relationship info, you are much smarter than the women who come to me, and then again, that’s probably why they do, they don’t think that it’s important to vet at all, in fact some very otherwise bright women will still do the 3 dates till sex countdown and seem to not understand why this doesn’t work. Guess I would not have clients if everyone got this : )
Btw, there are plenty of women living out their sexuality in this ‘less than vetting’ way. I think it’s their right and privilege as long as they use protection and they aren’t confusing a relationship with what they’re doing, and they can stay in a feeling good place about it (most don’t so they should vet, key word: should, often they do not no matter who gives the advice).
I’m not here to judge it. That is not my job, nor is it anyone else’s…
Thanks, Misch, can’t wait to watch the debating, let the games really begin…

Headache? Stiff Neck? You May Have Computer Vision Syndrome (The Cure Is Simple)
Are you prone to headaches or a stiff neck—and you can’t figure out why? The surprising cause may be computer vision syndrome. Here’s what you need to know…
DISTANCE IS EVERYTHING
Computer monitors usually are positioned between 20 and 26 inches from the eyes. Eye-care professionals call this the intermediate zone of vision.
Generally, children and young adults can see clearly and comfortably at this distance without glasses (if they have perfect vision) or with their general-purpose glasses or contacts (if they need prescription eyewear for nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism).
Seeing clearly at the intermediate zone becomes more difficult once we reach our 40s, due to a normal age-related loss of focusing power and flexibility called presbyopia.
This is especially true once it becomes apparent that you need multifocal lenses—bifocals, trifocals or progressive lenses—or reading glasses.
Multifocal lenses for general-purpose use may not have a large enough intermediate-viewing zone for computer use, or the zone might be positioned too high or too low in the lens.
And reading glasses that may be perfect for reading a book or magazine may be too powerful for comfortable computer vision.
The end result:
You may find yourself with less-than-clear vision while using a computer that leads to squinting, eyestrain and headaches, or adopting bad postures—leaning forward in your chair, craning your neck or hunching your shoulders—causing neck, shoulder and back pain. This combination of stress-related symptoms is called computer vision syndrome.
WHICH GLASSES?
How can you avoid the discomfort, fatigue and lost productivity associated with computer vision syndrome? For many people, the answer is specially prescribed computer glasses.
Though computer vision syndrome can affect people of any age, computer glasses tend to be most helpful for adults with presbyopia and younger adults who may not yet need multi-focal glasses or reading glasses but have symptoms of eyestrain during and after computer use.
To help your eye doctor determine the best prescription for your computer glasses, measure the distance from your eyes to your computer screen. Measure from the bridge of your nose to the middle of the screen—whether the screen is on your desk or balanced on your lap. Write down the measurement, and bring it with you to your eye exam.
Best choices…
Single-vision computer lenses work well for people who keep the monitor or laptop screen at a consistent distance—on a desk, balanced on the lap, etc.
Your eye doctor will prescribe lenses that match that distance. It doesn’t matter if you also use reading/distance glasses, since you will use the computer glasses only when you’re working on the computer.
Single-vision lenses provide a larger field of view (the total area that you can see clearly through the glasses) than other designs. They also are less expensive than multifocal computer lenses.
Multifocal computer lenses. Multi-focal is the general term for bifocals, trifocals and progressive lenses (which don’t have the lines that you can see on bifocals and trifocals).
Because they have different viewing zones for intermediate and near vision, multifocal computer lenses allow you to use one pair of glasses for computer work, reading small print and using your phone and other handheld devices.
You might prefer a multifocal lens if you frequently move your eyes back and forth from your computer screen to documents on your desk. Someone who does data entry, for example, might find multifocal computer glasses more comfortable than single-vision lenses.
Multifocal lenses also might enable you to see both your computer screen and your keyboard more clearly than single-vision lenses.
Some computer lenses are for intermediate and near vision only, while others include a small “distance” zone in the top portion of the lens for looking at objects or people several feet away or even across the room.
The distance zone of a computer multifocal (if one is present) is limited in size, so never wear multifocal computer glasses for driving or other tasks that require a clear, wide field of view in the distance.
Important:
If you decide to get multi-focal lenses, take measurements of the distance from your eyes to your desk surface, as well as from your eyes to your computer screen. The main portion of the lenses will be adjusted for the computer, and the bottom portion will have added magnification for closer objects.
Antireflective (AR) coating. This coating eliminates most of the reflections of overhead lighting that appear on both the front and back surfaces of eyeglass lenses. This improves the brightness and clarity of the computer screen and reduces eye fatigue.
Also helpful:
A slight tint on the lenses to block the “blue” light emitted from computer screens and overhead lighting that increases glare and eyestrain.
EYE CARE
Wearing glasses might not eliminate all discomfort if you spend long hours in front of the screen. Also important…
The 20-20-20 rule.
Take at least a 20-second break for every 20 minutes that you’re in front of the computer… and let your eyes completely relax by looking at something that’s at least 20 feet away—this relaxes the focusing muscle inside the eye, reducing the risk of eyestrain and fatigue.
Blink.
Research has shown that during normal, face-to-face conversations, people tend to blink an average of 15 to 16 times per minute. During computer use, this drops to an average of just over five blinks per minute. This greatly increases the risk for eye dryness and irritation.
Blinking spreads a fresh lubricating layer of tears across the surface of your eyes to improve comfort and the clarity of your vision.
Remind yourself to blink normally—or take a “blink” break every minute or two. And blink fully. Some people blink only partially when they work on a computer.
Remove your contacts.
Because prolonged computer use increases your risk for dry eyes, it also frequently causes contact lens discomfort. And when your contacts dry out, you’re more likely to experience blurred vision, eyestrain and headaches.
Contacts are fine for brief periods of computer use, but if you know you’re going to be staring at a screen for hours, remove your contacts and wear glasses or computer glasses instead.
Also helpful:
Keep artificial tears at your desk, and apply a drop in each eye when you first notice dryness, fatigue or irritation. Use preservative-free artificial tears—preservatives can cause increased eye sensitivity and irritation with prolonged use.

Thank you, Zen Lill
PS I cannot give full details but just yesterday a woman 3 weeks into a relationship asked me if it was too soon to go to Hawaii for a week with ‘her man’ and he’d asked her to use her flight miles, yes she asked this with a straight face…sigh…
October 3rd, 2012 at 10:38 am
Zen Lill, it is not about “judging.” I don’t think that a woman who chooses to have sex with a man early in a relationship is any less moral than one who vets him for 90 or more days.
But, I do think she is dumber, a lot dumber. NO excuse for setting herself up based on the man benefiting at her expense passes the common sense test.
Only the man benefits from easy sex. It is of course the woman’s “right” to do it, but I would strongly differ with your assertion it is her “privilege.”
What “privilege” does she get out of giving her benefit to a man before she knows if he is worth it?
It would be like a banker giving a loan on the first interview. Only the borrower has bragging rights. All the banker is left with is the hope he has made the right decision.
Any woman who spreads her legs for a man without vetting him is playing russian roulette with her life, safety(both physically and mentally), and will get no respect from the man.
I agree with most of the other posters here on the subject. It is a man’s bullshit that tells a woman that spreading her legs on the first date makes her equal to a man. She will always be a cheap lay to him.
He is the only beneficiary of such an action. Women who don’t get it, do get it, but it is only dick they are getting. The man sees her as a woman who it is easy to get over on, or just a piece of meat. He doesn’t see her as some liberated equal.
A woman can get dick any time she wants it because there will always be men who will stick their penises in anything.
It is a shame that men have convinced some women that it is a privilege to give a man what he is always looking for, sex on the first meet.

In a 4-3 ruling Tuesday afternoon, the Connecticut State Supreme Court overturned the sexual assault conviction of a man who had sex with a woman who “has severe cerebral palsy, has the intellectual functional equivalent of a 3-year-old and cannot verbally communicate.”
The Court held that, because Connecticut statutes define physical incapacity for the purpose of sexual assault as “unconscious or for any other reason. . . physically unable to communicate unwillingness to an act,” the defendant could not be convicted if there was any chance that the victim could have communicated her lack of consent. Since the victim in this case was capable of “biting, kicking, scratching, screeching, groaning or gesturing,” the Court ruled that that victim could have communicated lack of consent despite her serious mental deficiencies:
When we consider this evidence in the light most favorable to sustaining the verdict, and in a manner that is consistent with the state’s theory of guilt at trial, we, like the Appellate Court, ‘are not persuaded that the state produced any credible evidence that the [victim] was either unconscious or so uncommunicative that she was physically incapable of manifesting to the defendant her lack of consent to sexual intercourse at the time of the alleged sexual assault.’
According to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN), lack of physical resistance is not evidence of consent , as “many victims make the good judgment that physical resistance would cause the attacker to become more violent.” RAINN also notes that lack of consent is implicit “if you were under the statutory age of consent, or if you had a mental defect” as the victim did in this case.
Anna Doroghazi, director of public policy and communication at Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services, worried that the Court’s interpretation of the law ignored these concerns: “By implying that the victim in this case should have bitten or kicked her assailant, this ruling effectively holds people with disabilities to a higher standard than the rest of the population when it comes to proving lack of consent in sexual assault cases. Failing to bite an assailant is not the same thing as consenting to sexual activity.” An amicus brief filed by the Connecticut advocates for disabled persons argued that this higher standard “discourag[ed] the prosecution of crimes against persons with disabilities” even though “persons with a disability had an age-adjusted rate of rape or sexual assault that was more than twice the rate for persons without a disability.”
Disgusting if you ask me!
October 3rd, 2012 at 3:59 pm
Trudy, I would agree with you. I was asserting to the less that there are women who actually believe that bs about having sex whenever with whoever is an equal opportunity and I would say that if that’s all they want, well…OK. I myself am usually identified as too smart though men always move in for the kiss, whether they end up planting it on my lips or my cheek is always my perogative : )
I appreciate your say, and btw, there are a lot of dumb women running around still perpetuating the 3 or 5 dates to sex mythology. Vet em better is all we can suggest, I guess, but lots won’t, they do think it’[s their right and privilege to take sex like a man. Trudy, I know one woman who told me she only gives blow jobs for awhile ‘to establish who’s got the power’ in the relationship, ahahaha, actually I could not laugh out loud when I realized she was serious. I did tell her the only thing she had is a man who gets his cake sucked and doesn’t even have to return the pleasure, no wonder why he’s always calling you. (Duh, wtf kind of logic is this?! & this woman owns a business and is moderately successful, too, and very pretty, weird as hell to me, she told me this while I was at her store buying stuff). Can we get women to stop acting dumber than a box of rocks, one the one hand we have the overly moralistic religious right and on the other we’ve got dummies not vetting at all. No happy medium??

anon7 that court decision is a direct result of women allowing men to be in charge of them politically.
As long as white women in America continue to follow “lock step” behind white men nothing will change.
Next time please pick a set of initials or any made up name. It makes it easier to communicate.
A very relevant post though.

I watched the debate last night. Chris Matthews expressed my opinion succinctly;
===============================
Chris Matthews railed against Barack Obama’s performance during the presidential debate on Wednesday night.
Obama was widely judged to have lost the debate with Mitt Romney, and Matthews looked like he was about to have a coronary on air as he denounced the job the president did.
“I don’t know what he was doing out there,” Matthews said. “I know he likes to say he doesn’t watch cable television but maybe he should start. Maybe he should start. I don’t know how he let Romney get away with the crap he threw at him tonight about Social Security.”
“Where was Obama tonight?!” he cried, before recommending again that Obama watch MSNBC. “He would learn something about this debate,” he went on. “There’s a hot debate going on in this country, and you know where it’s being held? Here, on this network, is where we’re having this debate. We have our knives out. We go after the people and the facts. What was he doing tonight? He went in disarmed!”
Romney, he said, had done his job “just right … what was Romney doing tonight? He was winning! If he does five more of these, forget it! That’s my thought.”
==============================
I agree. Obama needs to get off his high horse and support the people who have his best interest at heart.
Get with MSMBC President Obama.
Eric
October 4th, 2012 at 7:47 am
I agree with Chris Matthews. Obama looked like a wuss – no, he IS a wuss. But, he’s still better than Robme.
October 4th, 2012 at 7:48 am
Romney said he would expose Obama for the lies he said about him and he did just that!..Obama get your facts straight Romney sure does!
October 4th, 2012 at 7:49 am
No teleprompter and an abysmal record for the last 4 years. He was toast before the debate even started. I think he did quite well considering.
October 4th, 2012 at 7:49 am
Obama 2012′, Anyways Obama lets Romney win on purpose’
Next round Obama will tear Romney a new one “
October 4th, 2012 at 7:50 am
I totally agree with Eric. This was an embarrassing performance and I could barely watch it.
There were so many times where I was hoping that Obama would finally come out and hit back but it never happened. But what was worse was his energy or lack thereof.
When I read some of Obama’s lines, they actually were pretty good. They just weren’t delivered in a forceful and believable way. They really have a lot of work to do. This isn’t going to cut it.
October 4th, 2012 at 7:51 am
Romney had the advantage of not having to deal with reality, while Obama does.
But Obama can do better, and he has 2 more chances to do so.
October 4th, 2012 at 7:51 am
Must be tough to see your ‘God’ smacked down right in front of you.
October 4th, 2012 at 7:55 am
Obama needs to read this blog. The commenters on here have a lot of good ideas.
The republican commenters are justifiably gloating, so they don’t don’t, but the others here have a lot to offer for the next debate.
Ruth,SM
This is not an after thought Michelle. Would love to do that again.
October 4th, 2012 at 7:56 am
Hey! It was Barack’s 20th anniversary, maybe he was thinking about his dinner plans?
October 4th, 2012 at 7:56 am
Already voted yesterday. I didn’t need to watch the talking heads. Im a small businessman. Not hard to figure who I voted for
October 4th, 2012 at 7:57 am
Q: Where was Obama tonight? A: Clearly OUT of his element..! Chris, Did the “tingle” run DOWN your leg last night?
October 4th, 2012 at 7:58 am
He doesn’t need five more times! economy is the biggest issue. and Romney won hands down
Obama didn’t have clinton there as his mouth piece.. and couldn’t stand up to wicked smart Romney.. Obama wasn’t singing last night.. he was caught red handed and his face showed it all
ITS OVER OBAMA Oh mitts boring or Mitt doesn’t have a plan Oh mitt’s will tax the middle class MITT SHOWED US ALL WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE STANDS FOR AND BORING HES NOT!! loved watching obama melt in his lies.. happy anniversary one term BYE
October 4th, 2012 at 7:59 am
Matthews is RIGHT! Obama’s handlers SHOULD listen to him and the other hosts on MSNBC ! THEY know how to expose all the Mittlies! his “misleading statements”!!
Matthews could have crushed MITT last night with both hands tied behind his back! Obama was asleep at the debate…maybe thinking about his anniversary dinner with Michelle!!
October 4th, 2012 at 7:59 am
Obama has nothing to run on, no accomplishments. Romney exposed what the Liberal Media should have exposed a long time ago.
The next debate will be the same.
A Businessman vs. a lying Community Organizer.
America saw the True Obama last night, a Failure!
October 4th, 2012 at 8:00 am
Obama was rusty because he had no primary challenger and hadn’t had to debate in this format since 2008. Romney has been debating for more than a year. So what?
It was probably the best thing that could have happened. The Democrats were getting too complacent. This thing was always destined to be a fight to the end, and they know that now.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:03 am
President Obama did a terrible job – however I will support him
I have been a staunch supporter since the summer of 2004
He had a bad day and night – after the debate Kitchen Aid company tweeted that his grandmother died because she new president Obama would be a terrible president.
This was tweeted last night. The Right have no low they won’t got to. They will be gloating over this one until the next. It has gotten Mitt back his donors and some who otherwise would have stayed at home.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:04 am
Obama is a FAKE, coddled by the media, never in a tough venue,
NEVER anything like the Prime Minister of the UK having to face and defend policies FACE to FACE in the parliament.
Without an Axelrod-fed teleprompter …he’s nothing!
October 4th, 2012 at 8:04 am
the emperor looked down and discovered he was naked
October 4th, 2012 at 8:05 am
It would make sense to me that Romney was motivated and Obama wasn’t. Romney had everything to gain by a good performance; whereas Obama could use a debate “win”, but doesn’t necessarily HAVE to have to “stay in the game”.
He found the whole thing onerous and annoying, and that showed — which was not in his interest of course, but there it is. It needn’t cause him to lose the race, but it could be the beginning of how he came to — and that is the course the Romney & Co. are going to hope and work for.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:06 am
How did Obama pass up the opening. “Maybe you have a better accountant than I do.”
I was waiting for Obama to say, “From the one return you have released, I think your accountant is pretty darn good, Mitt.”
Or this one: “Mr. Romney, you like a lot of things, education, tax breaks, Big Bird. But what you don’t seem to like are specifics.”
October 4th, 2012 at 8:07 am
A note to the liberal media – if you want your guy to do better in the upcoming debates, ask some tough questions of him once in a while so he doesn’t look like a deer in the head lights when finally confronted about his awful record.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:07 am
Obama was not prepared. Obama never has looked presidential.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:07 am
Michelle, it was so much fun to watch obama GO DOWN IN FLAMES
October 4th, 2012 at 8:08 am
I guess prepping with Joy Behar was a mistake.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:09 am
m really enjoying the democratic desparation this morning. People saw the real inept Obama last night and the dems are out there making all the same stupic excuses for him. I notice not as many though.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:11 am
Obama was just being himself last night a complete epic failure of a POTUS.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:11 am
THIS INDEPENDENT IS ON ROMNEY’S SIDE NOW!!! OBAMA — DISASTER!!
A. SANCHEZ
October 4th, 2012 at 8:12 am
Where was Obama? Perhaps it is part of his strategy.. Give Mitt rope… lots of it so he can tie himself up with his own lies. :)
October 4th, 2012 at 8:18 am
James, keep on dreaming, Obama looked helpless and unprepared, this has nothing to do with Romney. If this is the best that our President can do, its time for him to find another job.
October 4th, 2012 at 8:19 am
the president as when you meet an adversary. you watch, listen and learn to find that person’s weakness…what the president learn is that mitt lies is going to take him down oh he going to get him. i dont if anyone ever was on the debate team in high school or college; ITS rules to debating and mitt broke everyone..
when you debate you stay on TOPIC, PRESENT PROOF TO SUPPORT ex. when the president quoted the tax center finding, how obamacare was model after romnycare, you never interrupt no one you let them present their case.
what mitt did was show this country he will lie, cheat and sell his own mother for the presidency…the man threw his on sons under bus calling them liars. he is dangerous to our country, idont see why nobody see it. he ruined Massachusetts he only had a 39% approval rating for 1 state
October 4th, 2012 at 8:20 am
Eric, you and Matthews expressed my exasperation last night.
I hope it’s a wake up call to Team Obama

Romney won on form but his message is as off as ever!
Taxes on the rich are already low and companies are hording cash. The job creators are not creating jobs. One reason they are not creating new jobs is there is no demand. Demand is created by keeping money in the middleclass.
The voucher system for Medicare will only dismantle healthcare. Individual subscribers will never get as good a deal as a whole group.
PBS is just another attack on education. For many this is an important part of their education. For many smaller poorer markets taking away PBS will leave the kids to watch “Jersey Shores!”
Romney’s point of view leaves the middleclass behind just as much as ever!

What a disappointment this phoned-in performance was. Obama’s supporters seem more energized and interested than their candidate. They deserve better.

Are we turning a Presidential debate to an ‘An American Idol night’, where voting is based on ‘an on-stage performance’? We have heard these two candidates past couple of months, and we should by now know ‘who they are and what they can do’ seated in the Oval Office.
There is no time for ‘finger pointing’, we have real issues that need ‘clear plans’ of WHAT and HOW the country shall pull through this GLOBAL economic crisis.
It was no time to spend ‘Prime Time’ to go after Gov. Romney over his statements , I am so proud of Mr. President for sticking to the ‘REAL CAUSE FOR THE DEBATE’. How about ‘Mr. President reaching across the stage first’ despite all the attacks by Gov. Romney!

Julie, Obama wouldn’t wake up if a hydrogen bomb exploded over his head. He’s got a bad case of narcolepsy in office.
October 4th, 2012 at 10:28 am
Oh man, wtf happened??
The man can give good speech but he sure cannot give good debate, dammit.
He better be strategizing his next debate bc this one was not good, if you can make Mitt look good, you fucked up bigtime…I’m bummed he didn’t swing when he was squarely thrown the opportunities. Again, wtf??

I wouldn’t be too happy with Mitt’s “win” if I were the Right. It seems like Obama was smart not to argue with Mitt. He let the fact checkers do his job. If you were supposed to have won a national debate and the next morning you awoke to headlines like these would you be happy?
=====================================
DEBATE NIGHT FIGHT: Romney Wins… Instant Polls Go Mitt
Romney Walked Back Multiple Positions… Denied His Own Tax Plan… ‘Flat-Out Misstated His Position’… ‘Badly Misrepresented His Policies, Made Up Numbers’… Top Adviser Contradicts Romney On Health Care… Krugman: ‘The Moral Equivalent Of A Lie’… 4 Most Misleading Moments… ‘Romney Thrived Because He Abandoned The Pretense Of Honesty’
====================================
I think not. It basically said Mitt lied to win. He will get worse coverage because the media won’t feel sorry for him and will just OUT his Lies.

Alycedale, The debate doesn’t matter, whatever Romney said it was a lie, Romney was rude, the President has started his anniversary celebration before the debate and might have had a couple of drinks. SPIN, SPIN, SPIN. Obama suffered a drubbing at this first debate, no matter how you spin it.
And contrary to the spin, all signs point to the fact that it is going to matter.

Poor Libs ,reality slaps Obama upside the head.
October 4th, 2012 at 10:40 am
Romney struck me as a very slick used car salesman. Do you want what a very slick used car salesman is selling? No, me either.
October 4th, 2012 at 10:41 am
John Kerry won the first debate also. We know how that went.
Take an asprin and call me in a week.
October 4th, 2012 at 10:45 am
After reading the post on this page all I see is the same old one line attacks on Romney and a bunch of excuses for Mr. Obama still not knowing what he is talking about. And most of you want another 4 years of this__________ Really
October 4th, 2012 at 10:47 am
Romney won nothing. He’s a legend in his own mind.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012
October 4th, 2012 at 10:48 am
Mitt won the optics of the debate not the substance. This allows him a platform to provide true details. That is a challenge he has never has lived up to.
October 4th, 2012 at 10:50 am
Alycedale, As was evident to anyone not getting wrapped up in the recent polls, this was suppose to be the worse event for Obama. The first debate.
The first debate on the Economy. And the first debate where he really was going to be a punching bag having toe be responsible for every bad thing in the economy for at least 1 and half hours.
The President could not emphasis too much the fact that virtually all of the bad economic news are still the result of Bush and out of control Republican Spending/Useless Tax Cuts/ and horrendous regulatory failures.
To have done so in a debate would have made him look weak and been worse than what occurrence. And it would also have been a mistake to to get aggressive with Romney.
He had to let Romney go there first. And frankly the debate was not the place to put these new policies to the light of day.
October 4th, 2012 at 10:51 am
Romney “winning” the debate is like a molester talking about helping kids, we still really know what he is.
October 4th, 2012 at 10:52 am
If he won with lies is it still a win?
October 4th, 2012 at 10:53 am
My question is this…Who picked the fossil with no backbone to moderate and why was he in control of the questions, that frankly lacked any real substance other than an open platform for the two to duke it out over rhetoric rather than substance?
October 4th, 2012 at 10:57 am
The whole point sweet liberals is instead of the media and Obama defining Mitt Romney, Mitt Romney introduced and defined himself! The lies you are speaking of are LIES the media and the BO campaign has spread.
What you saw last night is someone who had to defend himself FROM the lies told ABOUT him for 18 months!!!! And listening to the media having a heart attack last night saying over and over that Mitt didn’t give any explanations—LOOK on his website—all the explanations that Obama’s campaign is trying to spin and the media is trying to spin is right there!!
ALL his policy descriptions and ALL those answers everyone is confused about—right on Mitt’s website!! BUT–many of you JUST believe these talking heads who have worked VERY hard to shield the truth–without doing any searching on your own.
Each one of you are parrots.. parrotting what they are telling you—very sad!! And did you know that BO had 4.00 MORE MINUTES of talking time then Mitt Romney?
Mitt HAD to interrupt as the Moderator was trying desperately to HELP Obama—explaining to Obama what he REALLY means about taxation.. and 2 other times. Come on people, re-watch it and tell yourself the TRUTH!! You can like your candidate as we do ours.. BUT.. we do it without the hate!!!
October 4th, 2012 at 11:11 am
I was marginally interested in the “debate” but I did watch it. I found the instant reactions to declare a winner amusing. Mitt Romney, when pressed gently for specifics on how exactly he will offset his promised “tax cuts” came up with line items like PBS.
When one looks at the actual math, it is crystal clear that someone is going to pay more and it’s not going to be Mitt or his heirs or any of the truly wealthy citizens of the U.S.
If the United States was a corporation and it’s sole purpose was to create profit for a specific group of people, Mitt would probably be a fair consideration.
Reality is that the U.S. is not a business venture and its formation and life is based entirely on principles as defined in the Constitution. Obama-Biden for the USA 2012.
October 4th, 2012 at 11:12 am
Bet if your candidate had won the debate last night that you wouldn’t think it was “amusing” this morning, if HE had been declared the winner. Next……

Why Does Mitt Romney Keep Lying?
Is That The Only Way Mitt Romney Knows?
It’s Dangerous No Matter How You Look At It.
We All Saw On 60 Minutes That He Would Give The Rich A 5 Trillion Dollar Tax Cut !!!!!!
Why Does Mitt Romney Keep Lying??????
October 4th, 2012 at 11:13 am
Why are you asking why Mitt Romney is lying? Ask that question to Obama….he’s more of an expert!!
