Good morning!
“Just noticing…”
- Santa is just white.
- So is Jesus.
Since the holiday season is here, I thought it would be fun to bring in some holiday cheer by posting a write about Santa, through the viewpoint of our fave media station FOX News (Oh…I mean Faux News. They haven’t earned that name for no reason), and their lovely host (albeit a racist), Megyn Kelly.
Here’s the write from Raw Story:
Fox News host Megyn Kelly tells kids: Jesus and Santa are both white guys
Fox News host Megyn Kelly on Wednesday assured children viewing her program that both Jesus Christ and Santa Claus were white men even though some liberals were trying to make them black.
In a column for Slate earlier this week, Aisha Harris wrote that she had always been confused as a child because the Santa in her home had brown skin like her, but the Santa in malls and on television was always white.
So Harris made the case “that America abandon Santa-as-fat-old-white-man” and adopt a penguin in his place.
“For one thing, making Santa Claus an animal rather than an old white male could spare millions of nonwhite kids the insecurity and shame that I remember from childhood,” she wrote.
But on Wednesday, Kelly decided that Harris had gone “off the rails” with her column.
“For all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white,” Kelly said. “But this person is just arguing that maybe we should also have a black Santa. But Santa is what he is.”
“Just because it makes you feel uncomfortable doesn’t mean it has to change, you know?” she added. “I mean, Jesus was a white man too. He was a historical figure, that’s a verifiable fact, as is Santa — I just want the kids watching to know that.”
Contrary to Kelly’s assertions, Jesus Christ was a Jew of Mediterranean descent and not the white European figure often depicted in paintings and movies.

I notice a lot of people are coming jumping on the idiot for claiming a mythical figure is white, but not too many are saying anything about the real figure who we know is a Jew. But I guess we jews can be white when it suit the bastards, like when it is necessary to make their god white.

Bottom line is that Jesus was white and so was St. Nicholas. My husband is Greek and St. Nicholas was Greek (in an area that is now Turkey) and the Greeks are considered white.
Also, Jesus was Jewish and Jewish people are considered white. Facts are facts. Megan was correct. And this isn’t being prejudiced but just being honest and stating truthful facts.

She should have remained in pageants where her idiotic views can easily be disregarded in favour of her looks. I know!…. she should definitely present her program in evening wear, swimsuit, and national costume- that way her comments are in no danger of being legitimized!

Solomon is the father is David and Solomon is Black. Jesus comes from the root of David, Solomon etc. Read the Book of Solomon 1:5 which says I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

What is self righteous about telling the truth? Santa IS white and so was Jesus. Look at the Jews today. They are white. Complaining about such things is like complaining that Martin Luther King, Jr. was black. What difference does it make, anyway, what color Santa and Jesus were? Is this “hate whitey” now?

If you don’t want to accept, I understand.

But…
If you do, that’d make my day and it won’t EVER happen again.
And everyone else, eyeyiyi, you got to witness me at my worst, I assure you, it won’t happen again.
I hope you’ll concede that 95% of the time, I’m okay, this 5% part, well it sucked for me as well, I’m not in the habit of hurting people, esp someone as sweet as Michelle. It was very misdirected anger.
Thank you to those who supported me (knowing it was likely a lapse in my normally good judgement) and those who didn’t and played and eye for eye with me, I know it probably didn’t feel very good to you to say those things, I pushed you into it, and for that I’m also sorry.
All the character judgements hurt but I guess if that’s how you feel about me, that’s how you feel about me. If there’s a way I could turn back time and get at the moment and why it tripped my trigger I would, but right now, I cannot access that place. Maybe I can try again later, or maybe I just shouldn’t, I don’t know.
I hate making excuses so I won’t I’ll just offer up that poem, and this statement and hope for the best though I believe fully in the ‘live and learn’ principle, if you all vote me off the island, I understand.
(& now you know why it’s best if I stay very Zen and NOT at all Mt Vesuvius, it doesn’t serve me and never did, and doesn’t happen often at all – thankfully).
And I saw that video on FB last night, she’s an effing idiot (though I shouldn’t be talking like that right now).

It is steadily becoming hate whitey! I think that since Obama’s election, prejudice against whites has run ramped. It is sad that this world has come to debating the nationality of Santa. I think it is sad that people have suddenly lashed out at Kelly because she voiced her opinion.
Does freedom of speech mean that you have the right to express your beliefs as long as everyone agrees with them? I agree I too think Jesus and Santa are White and that is my opinion.

Ceren, There is no “separation of church and state” in the Constitution. Never was. The idea was for the people to have whatever religion they wanted and the government was not to dictate which religion.
France and England were forcing everyone to become Roman Catholics which is why the pilgrims fled. In the early days, the Bible was a required part of school. There are many laws in the Constitution that came right out of the Bible. The Founding Fathers believed that God’s law was perfect law. Remove God from our society and we will look just like other non-free countries.

Zen Lill, I’m sure no one ever considered banning you from the blog, as if anyone could anyway, but you can hardly not expect us not to hold you to a different standard since you hold a special position as an Original and you are a Regular.

Sam#18, Wow. You are totally sucked in hook, line and sinker. The non-establishment cause forbids government from asserting a state religion. That is the concept of “separation of church and state” – it is the concept of the non-establishment clause of the 1st Amendment.
So, yes, expressed within the Constitution there is a separation of church and state. Not to mention that the Constitution was written by people who were deist – not Christians. The founders were not universally Christian, and were very, very fearful of the state being controlled by religion which is why they put the non-establishment clause in the 1st AMENDMENT OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS!!!! You bible thumpers are so uneducated it is frightening!

Jesus was *probably* olive/Mediterranean, but somebody explain the evolutionary probability that somebody from the fucking North Pole isn’t white. In neither case does it really matter, though… particularly for the guy who isn’t real.

Now this article is using a “Mediterranean decent” term just like the “White Hispanic” term which are being used to make up a race. Its usually White, Black, or Asian for race and an ethnicity is not a race. “Contrary to Kelly’s assertions, Jesus Christ was a Jew ” she did not say He was not a Jew.
Jesus being born in Israel in the Middle East would be probably White as well although his skin color would probable more brown. Before the newer classification of Hispanic or Latino which usually means brown skin they were considered White as my birth certificate states.

Personally I think lying to your children is the problem. You want them to trust you and be fully honest with you, but then you tell them a man is traveling around the world in one night delivering presents, or that a giant rabbit is hiding their eggs on easter or a fairy is taking off with their teeth, instead of just telling them you’re buying the gifts and they are from you, or you’re hiding the eggs to let them have fun, or you take the teeth because they’ll rot and explaining to them why they fall out. Then you wonder why they aren’t honest.
It’s because you lie to them for most of their childhood. And if it’s okay to lie then, then they can justify lying later.

Nelson, you are the idiot who should never mention genetics. I, white and I take genetics. Lez is correct. Caucasians are a mix of races. When the world first began white people didnt exist. But over time people evolved, Africans mated with those with somewhat lighter skin, environmental changes occured, and caucasians were born.
Its like…what tastes stronger…vanilla or chocolate? chocolate does. so if you mix a cup of vanilla pudding with a cup of chocolate pudding which will you taste? the chocolate. Its like that. The black genes are stronger and the white genes are weaker.
So in other words africans are pure caucasians are not.

Nelson#37, we are all essentially Black. Humans were Black for 160,000 years while non Black people have been around for the last 50,000 years our genes recognize the older genes and see the newer as merely adaptations to so some traits are evenly like skin tone but the non even tend to rely on older traits to show up more. But the most obvious is the skin tone which makes people beleive they are more non white because mix race people barley have white skin

I doubt you’d say he was white because of his stance against the shit your were doing to his people. The entire concept of making someone white is racist since you are implying you are bestowing some honor to them. The fact is whites are a mixed race, part black and part some albino gene for the black race or some other OTW contribution.
The white race by the damnation of God can only produce their own kind. That is a genetic fact. And like what happens to that situation in the wilds it means you are headed for extinction as a species. Even before that you made up less that 4% of the world population but contribute to 80% of its pollution.
Before you brought your polluting technology to the OTW your 4% race was responsible for 98% of the pollution from fossil fuels.
I’m not anti white because I don’t think the color of ones skin means much. But I am against the propaganda whites spread to make their race seem to be all that when it isn’t.

Barbara, I think Josh handed Snead the what for on yesterday’s topic, I live when people (& usually but not always men) like to pick and choose who’s been naughty or nice and/or want to choose who gets health care for what diseases or conditions. Please. Give it a rest. I did love someone’s suggestion (forgive me I forget your name and number) that suggested that men take out insurance for what is known legally as ‘assumed risk’ so agree with that. An eye for an eye equality (as much as us possible) style of insuring.
Beverly & Olga, thank you but until I hear from the commander I’m still feeling like a jack (& as though I was in a fugue state) ugh…trying to let myself get past it. I can only hope she does.
