Little Ado About Nothing

Posted by Michelle Moquin on February 28th, 2009

I am at a loss for words this morning. I have no topic of interest that is inspiring me this morning, and I not willing to take the time to write about nothing. Although Seinfeld made a whole show out of nothing. :) so I will say nothing except that I hope all of you are enjoying the weekend!

I am going to go lose myself in a matinee and escape from my reality for a bit. Nothing to be concerned about.  I am just in that kind of mood. I hope that what ever mood you are in, you will indulge yourself too!

Oh, before I head out…

DNSR! emailed me and he is a back from Sri Lanka. Maybe he’ll chime in and tell us more about his adventures over there. He also emailed me a photo that he took in Sri Lanka, and gave me permission to post it here. He thought that all of us would enjoy it since we were on the subject of ‘small dicks’. I think it is a beautiful picture of elephant family life in spite of. :) Although I’d say this is one elephant that seems pretty happy with his size! The little lady? I can’t tell if she’s excited or a little nervous. Thanks DNSR!

Hi Zen Lill: I understand your concern. Presently, I am not in communication with Madaline.  Hopefully if she is still inside the web, and she is able, she will read your comment and contact me. I will let you know as soon as I hear from her.

Anonymous: I suppose it is ‘amusing enough’ as you seem to continue to read. As Doug pointed out, and I think he said it well, “….knowing that the people could not believe that such conspiracies could exist. This is what can make such conspiracies exist and be successful is the blind faith of the people that it couldn’t really exist in the first place.”

Peace out…

Gratefully your blog host,

Good idea, going to a matinee. Last night my sweet pea and I decided to save money and rent a movie which turned out to be based on a true story about police corruption and conspiracies several decades ago. Ironic that today we’re again in the midst of a deepening economic depression flush with corruption and fraud at all levels. The more things change the more they stay the same, so not much of an “escape from reality”. Then we finished off a bottle of recession zin which seemed to brighten up the rest of evening.

So, these elephants were actually part of a large orphanage in Sri Lanka. They get to go for a swim in this river a couple times a day which they seem to fully enjoy. Most lost their mothers in war, poaching or traffic accidents. Now thoughout the country there are lots of large electric fences to keep wild ones off the highways and out of dangerous areas.

The LTTE’s days are numbered, which is good news for women and children there. Now if only their repressive government’s days were numbered as well.

  3. Anonz Says:

    Sweet Lilly

Please feel free to us my words. I look forward to your additions. It has been suggested that I am purging my demons. Nothing could be further from the truth. The people who complain about what I have done need look no further than the mirror to find the true culprits.

People have to get involved in their governing. If they leave it to others to insure that the government will perform in their best interest, they get us. I will continue to be involved in how I am to be governed. If that means that I will have to skew the crooked government representatives toward my benefit, then that is what I will do. Someone will be paying them to act in their behalf, why not me.

My way of thinking is if someone is going to get screwed by crooked politicians, it won’t be me. Those who object to my getting these “benefits” should take more care to be more aware of what their politicians are doing.

Most of white America is only concerned with where they are on the opportunity shelf. As long as the politicians insure that they will always be first, they can stomach what else happens. You only hear them complaining when they are going to be personally affected by the crooked behavior.

The present war is one of those instances. If OTWs were the only ones dying at alarming rates “defending” America from “terrorism,” then the war could go on indefinitely. But now that their sons and daughters have to die too, they demand some accountability.

I give them their dose of feel good about themselves with religion. They ask that the politicians force the rest of America to believe as they do. When you put in a person who would do that for you, is it not too difficult to imagine that he/she would do other things to stay in office too and for a bit more money?

Why the surprise when you are hiring those crooks to do your bidding, that they are amenable to doing the bidding of those like me for a bit more? What may I ask is the difference between my wants and yours?

Can any man honestly say that the desire to force America to obey their “moral” beliefs is any better than my desire to force America to pay me a bit more each time I make a financial transaction?

Observe the polls and see how many Americans really want honest government. You will find that not as many as you would hope. The reason is plain. Those that have always enjoyed the opportunities of this country are not willing to share. They want honesty as long as it does not upset that balance.

Hence, 55% of white America continues to support a party that bankrupted the country with their greed. I love that party because it will always be profitable. Forgive me if I am not apologetic to those who support me as long as I do not force them to share the same opportunities they and theirs enjoy with the rest of America.

It is as simple as that. Conservative, Liberal, are just words used to convey a lie and wink. When an OTW says he is a conservative, he is speaking from ignorance or the Stockholm syndrome. When a white says he is a conservative he is speaking from ignorance or winking.

The wink signifies that they are racists who can say out loud that they believe that it is liberal to believe that everyone is equal. I love to wink because it allows me to profit from those bigots. I get to run a party for a sizable profit for those who would do anything to continue to benefit at the expense of the rest of Americans.

So why shouldn’t I fleece them. Perhaps now you can understand why I feel no remorse. If the rest of America wishes to take back their country, then they have to be honest with themselves and force every branch of government to treat all its citizens equally. It is not I who America should fear. I love my country. It is their own special interest that they should fear. That special interest is being exploited by the politicians they elect to force them upon the rest of America.

10 Years of Depression Gone in 5 Days!
Sandy had been tormented by depression for over 10 years. At times, it would get so bad she couldn’t get out of bed and go to work.
“I’ve tried everything,” she told me. Her list included psychiatric counseling… St. John’s wort… B vitamins… acupuncture… and even hypnosis. She refused to go on antidepressant drugs; otherwise, those would have been on her list as well.
But there was one natural remedy Sandy had not tried. And when I gave it to her, her whole life turned around in just 5 days!
What is this amazing remedy? It’s an amino acid compound called S-adenosylmethionine, or AdoMet for short.
AdoMet works by increasing dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine — the natural brain chemicals that boost your mood. This is similar to the way antidepressant drugs work.
But here’s the difference: AdoMet also improves the way your brain cells receive these chemicals. Result: While antidepressant drugs can take a month to take effect, AdoMet starts working almost immediately.
AdoMet has been proven effective in over 38 studies. Some of these studies compared it head-to-head against the leading drugs and found that it works just as well or better… but without the side effects. In fact, the studies found that AdoMet has even fewer side effects than a placebo!
But that’s not all. AdoMet also helps liver problems… fatigue… memory problems… and pain and stiffness!

    WOW!

I got the message. I have my passport and I am heading home to Guam. This is one beauty who knows she can represent her Island proudly.

But, how about letting the rest of America that like Anonz says we brown people don’t get the same treatment our white brethren here in America get. My grandparents served in the US military on Guam and we have yet to get the same veteran benefits the white soldiers did. My grandfather was a prisoner of war for four years, and he didn’t receive his corresponding veteran benefits until more than 40 years after the war. Hilary came to speak about things here and never mentioned it.

Clinton glosses over Guam in Asia tour

    BY TONY ARTERO • FEBRUARY 26, 2009

Hillary Rodham Clinton, in her Secretary of State remarks at the Asia Society on her U.S. and Asia Two Transatlantic and Transpacific Powers whirlwind tour, in part, said: “Here at home, our government is working to address the housing crisis and restore the banking system. Congress is expected to pass a stimulus package that represents the largest government effort in a generation to create jobs and increase incomes. China, Australia, and others in Asia are responding vigorously.”
She said, “We need multiple engines working together to reignite global growth. … Smart power” is indispensable to our security and prosperity.
Among other comments, she mentioned stateless criminal cartels and human exploitation. Yet Clinton made no mention of America’s continued denial of World War II reparations for the people of Guam. I’m sure most people can relate to this, except for those who align themselves with the powers that be, deeply entrenched in the entitlement mentality.
The money for the World War II reparations for Guam should be no less than that paid to survivors of the 9/11 attacks, if not more, on account of the 64 years later and still waiting.
Also, Clinton did not say a thing about the land-taking frenzy by the federal government following World War II, which transformed Guam from self-sufficiency into dependency. Instead, Clinton said, “We cannot respond with a race to erect trade and other barriers. We must remain committed to a system of open and fair trade.”
She avoided America’s Jones Act, (which is) adversely affecting Guam and Hawaii.
In addition, Clinton implied that America now does not want to be indebted to, thus dependent on, a foreign country, but America is very happy to have made the people of Guam dependent on and subservient to it under America’s colonial powers for 111 years.
