‘Just Noticing’: Observations Of A Blogger

There is only one thing I’m going to talk about today in terms of ‘just noticing’. I woke up this morning to quite a flurry of comments, and quite heated, I may add…and I ‘just noticed’ they were all centered around the system, and whether Anonz is a good guy or a bad guy.

Now, you can debate about the system, and I encourage that. But really, do we have to debate on whether Anonz is a good guy or not? – who cares. I’m not going to take sides, but I don’t know too many millionaires, let alone billionaires who decide to divert themselves in the devastation of Darfur, instead of frolicking and feasting in France, where most mills and bills are. Not to mention the oodles of information that we are privy to, and never would be, if it weren’t for Anonz.

So…let’s try to put our anger and egos aside and look at this logically. The fact that Anonz did give us the information to change, in my logical mind, says something. Anonz is telling us how to stop him.

Everybody’s concerned whether or not the system is good, right? Now that is something to be concerned about. Anonz gave us 3 things to do to ‘destroy the system’. He laid it out plain and simple. Here they are:

Destroy it by:

(1) Insisting that special interest groups not be allowed to lobby congress.

(2) Out law PAC’s political contributions

(3) Get your Congress to fix the opinion rendered by the bought and paid for 6 of the Supreme Court who ruled that corporations can spend as much as they want on political issues and candidates.

Readers: Why not take it on and see if they work? Either that or we can keep debating on the type of man Anonz really is. Me? I’m going to heed his words, so don’t be surprised when I start encouraging you to join me and follow his advice too.

However, let’s take a moment…let’s get real, shall we?

I write about health care and how important it is for reform to pass. And hardly anyone writes in and says, “I’m on it Michelle. I’m making phone calls today.” Instead, of debating whether or not Anonz is a paladin, let’s take all of that passion and put it somewhere productive…somewhere where we can make some real changes happen in this country.

The reality is…if people can’t even get behind health care, a simple bill and ensuring its passage, we’re going to have an extremely challenging time trying to change the entire system. However, as always, I have faith. Let’s get on it peeps…starting with health care TODAY.

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my ‘loyal’(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

Anonz is Anonz, But I don’t think anybody likes to hear that “I own you” or “you are my doormat”. I do not like to hear this coming from anybody, do you? I did not think so.

    “A Nobody”

I am sick of you whining pussies. Who cares of you don’t like to be told you are owned. You are still owned. That’s the truth. If you don’t want to hear the truth, that’s your problem.

Stand up for yourself. Don’t include me in your pathetic attempt to gather support for your hurt feelings. And why is it more important to you that your feelings don’t get hurt than it is that you are being told how to prevent the one’s that own you from continuing to do so.

The right uses that sensitivity to manipulate you into not doing what’s good for your own best interest.

As to whether I like hearing someone tell me that he/she owns me. I would rather hear it form someone who was trying to help me than having someone assure me that I am not owned when he/she is doing everything in his power to keep me in a position of ownership.

I don’t mean to be disrespectful to your feelings. I just want you to get over the name calling and get into solving the problems. If being nice to you is the only way to get you to do what’s best for you, then you may never see the light.

The people who are ripping us off every minute begin by making us feel good about our country, they start and end every diatribe with “this is the greatest country in the world” so you feel good and they rip you off.

When they start off with “we have the greatest health care system in the world,” you know they are trying to rip you off. You name it

All I’m saying is everyone that tells you shit that makes you feel good is not our friend and everyone that tells you shit that makes you feel bad in not your enemy.

One may be trying to keep you sleep and one maybe trying to wake you up.

Anonz may or may not be a good guy, but he does come with the kind of advice that the ones that are telling us how great we are to be americans in the greatest country in the world don’t seem to offer.

You can spend your time with the feel good guys, I want to hear how to stop the crooks from taking any more stuff from me. And I don’t care how he addresses me to tell me.

    UNSAVORY TRUTH ABOUT VEGETABLE OILS

In a recent profile of Whole Foods cofounder and CEO John Mackey, he said that he had given up sugar, most processed foods and vegetable oils. Vegetable oils? Most people think these are healthy, but they’re not… here’s why.

It used to be that heavy weights were used to squeeze the oil from plants (which is what’s really meant by the term “vegetable oil”), but now most manufacturers use heat and chemical solvents, in particular petroleum-derived hexane.

Both methods end up removing potential health benefits, I learned from Maggie Ward, MS, RD, LDN, nutrition director of Dr. Mark Hyman’s UltraWellness Center in Lenox, Massachusetts.

The principle demon is heat. At certain temperatures, heat oxidizes and neutralizes many of the plant’s nutrients. This makes the oil rancid (yes — even though you can’t tell, which I will explain in a minute) and as a result, the oil’s healthy antioxidants and essential fatty acids are replaced by destructive free radicals.

Adding insult to injury, most vegetable oils are then refined after extraction — using yet more chemicals and high heat to bleach and deodorize them.

This removes color to make the oil look more appealing and erases any rancid smell and taste. The result is oil that is bland enough to add moisture and texture without changing the taste of baked foods, for instance.

And the supposed benefit is that cooks can use these oils for frying, because they can be taken to high temperatures without smoking.

But the real result of all this processing means that we end up using nutritionally void oil to cook in a way that is inherently unhealthful. And yes, this includes oils such as soybean and canola oil that are marketed as “healthy” and “good for you.”

    DOES HEALTHFUL OIL EXIST?

Don’t throw up your hands in frustration — there are oils that are good for you, produced in ways that preserve their health-giving properties, says Ward. Here’s a list, along with what you need to know about them…

Olive oil. Olive oil is the leader of the pack when it comes to health, but it requires careful handling. Purchase only olive oil that is cold-pressed (it will say this on the label) and preferably extra-virgin, which will have the most nutrients.

When cooking with olive oil, Ward cautions against using heat higher than medium, and if the oil does start to smoke, she says, it should be thrown out. Not only will the heat make it rancid, it will destroy nutrients and create carcinogens, Ward says.

To cook healthfully with olive oil, preheat the pan for up to a minute and then add the food and oil at the same time rather than starting with the oil alone. This prevents overheating and provides a bonus — the food better absorbs the oil’s healthy essential fatty acids.

For added flavor and health, sprinkle a bit of olive oil over the food when you have finished cooking. To store olive oil: Keep it in a dark glass bottle or any opaque container in your cabinet or on the counter — no need to refrigerate unless your kitchen is exceptionally warm.

Tropical oils. Coconut and, to a lesser degree, palm oil have had a health resurgence in recent years. As saturated fats, these used to be considered heart unhealthy, but this type of oil is now recognized by physicians and scientists as necessary and good for you (though not in excess).

These oils will not oxidize, so you can cook with them at higher temperatures. Storage for coconut and palm oils: Since these oils are not temperature- or light-sensitive, it is fine to store them on the counter or in the pantry.

Seed and nut oils. Some seed and nut oils have become popular as seasoning added to salads and other dishes after cooking. Sesame oil, for example, has plenty of antioxidants, and Ward says that unrefined sesame oil retains more of its nutrients because the seeds are easy to press.

However, seed and nut oils turn rancid quickly (even when kept cool), so it is best to buy small quantities that you can use within a few weeks. Sniff the oil before using — toss it if it no longer smells fresh. Nut and seed oil storage: Refrigerate in dark bottles.

Obama Plans To Take Over Healthcare NEXT WEEK — Click Here to Tell Congress to VOTE NO on Obamacare His Socialized Healthcare Bill

ALERT: You and I keep chopping off the head of the liberals’ attempts to ram socialized healthcare down our throats… but like some monster from a horror movie, ObamaCare keeps coming back!

The Obama administration has now told the House of Representatives that they need to pass his massive takeover of healthcare in America by the time Obama leaves on his trip to Guam, Indonesia, and Australia NEXT WEEK — Tuesday, March 18th!

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told MSNBC that “we believe the House can act by the time the president leaves for his trip on March 18th.” Senior Democratic aides said Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) hopes to unveil the reconciliation bill — which enable the Senate to “get around” any Republican filibuster — early next week!

Did you get that? Congress is planning on shoving ObamaCare down America’s throat they’re going to use every parliamentary trick in the book to get it passed, even WITHOUT a supermajority… unless WE make sure that Obama, Reid, and Pelosi FAIL in their trickery!
TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT SOCIALIZED HEALTH
CARE — BETTER KNOWN AS “OBAMACARE”:
    SEND YOUR FAXES NOW!

Did anyone really think that, just because Barack Hussein Obama called his recent meeting a “bipartisan healthcare reform summit,” that the Democrats were serious about starting over and including the Republicans’ ideas in their plans?

OF COURSE THEY WEREN’T! When Sen. Lamar Alexander opened the President’s health care summit for the GOP by saying the Democrats should renounce the idea of using parliamentary tricks to pass health care, Obama concluded that the American people were not concerned with the arcane processes of the Senate and would be “comfortable with a majority vote.”

    Sen. Alexander stated:
My request is this, that before we go further today, that the Democratic congressional leaders and you Mr. President, renounce this idea of going back to the Congress and jamming through on a partisan vote, through a little-used process we call reconciliation, your version of the bill.”
Obama refused to renounce “reconciliation” to pass his plan — and now we see why, as he’s pushing for it to be used! So, in other words, Obama is LYING about compromising on his healthcare plans, and Reid and Pelosi are preparing to use a parliamentary trick to ram ObamaCare down the throats of the American people — and it looks like they’re planning to do it NEXT WEEK!

We MUST NOT let them succeed!
TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT SOCIALIZED HEALTH
CARE — BETTER KNOWN AS “OBAMACARE”:
    SEND YOUR FAXES NOW!

Here’s the “trick” that Obama, Pelosi and Reid are planning to use to ram ObamaCare through: it’s called “reconciliation”. As the Wall Street Journal explains, “House Democrats would pass a series of ‘fixes’ to the Senate bill. The Senate would then pass the House reconciliation bill, sending amendments to President Obama to a bill that — strictly speaking — didn’t exist, because it hadn’t yet emerged from the House. The House would then retroactively pass the Senate bill as is.”

So by using the “reconciliation” process, the Senate will only need 51 votes to pass their socialized healthcare bill!

Regardless of the fact that the biggest reason Republican Scott Brown was elected to Ted Kennedy’s old Senate seat was because he promised to help kill ObamaCare — Democrats are still willing to use more corrupt tactics to get it passed! In fact, the liberals on the far left have their own interpretation of why Brown won: “people want more change… bolder change… more populism… and the public option is that in this healthcare fight.” Check out this YouTube video where they state very clearly that the socialized healthcare “public option” is “back on the table” and will be passed by using the “reconciliation process” — because in their minds, that’s what “Americans want”!

Are they serious about using this trick to pass their bill? You BET they are. Nancy Pelosi, on a conference call with bloggers, said, “We will not be deterred from this course of getting something done one way or another, and I’m hoping it will… be mainly by passing the comprehensive bill. That’s our plan.”

And now, U.S. House and Senate leaders have agreed on legislative language to push forward Barack Obama’s proposed socialization of the nation’s health-care system, according to House Democratic Whip James Clyburn. They’re moving fast — so WE have to move even FASTER!

We CAN still stop ObamaCare, by STOPPING the Democrats from using the “reconciliation” parliamentary trick… but we can’t do it without YOUR help!
TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT SOCIALIZED HEALTH
CARE — BETTER KNOWN AS “OBAMACARE”:
    SEND YOUR FAXES NOW!

TAKE ACTION: It’s obvious that Barack Obama and House and Senate Democrats meant for their so-called “healthcare reform summit” to be nothing more than a SHAM, and NOT a genuine dialogue. But their game has been exposed. Senate Republican Whip Jon Kyl of Arizona told CNN that “they’ve devised the process by which they can jam the bill through that the president has supported in the past, without Republican ideas in it.” But the problem, Kyl said, is that “reconciliation is not the process for comprehensive bills like this. It’s for balancing the budget!”

We don’t have much time to stop the Democrats’ trickery in their march towards socialized healthcare. Obama leaves on his trip next week, and wants Congress to pass Obamacare before he leaves. We CANNOT let the radical liberals in Congress — and the White House — force this plan for socialized health care on the American people! That’s why we’ve set up our website to enable you to send a strong message to every single member of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, OPPOSING this outrageous plan.

For about what it would cost you in time and telephone charges, you can send Blast Faxes to Democrats, Republicans, Independents — EVERYONE in BOTH houses of Congress, DEMANDING that they REJECT this socialized health care plan NOW!
TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT SOCIALIZED HEALTH
CARE — BETTER KNOWN AS “OBAMACARE”:
    SEND YOUR FAXES NOW!

This fight CAN BE WON! Please, take action right away to STOP this bill in the U.S. Congress!

    Sincerely,

    William Greene, President
    RightMarch.com PAC

P.S. The Congressional Budget office has now raised its estimate of the cost of the underlying Senate bill to $875 billion from $871 billion over 10 years. The costs just keep on rising… and we KNOW they won’t stop! The Senate bill’s tax increases and Medicare benefit cuts kick in right away while its “benefits” — subsidies for health-care coverage — don’t start until 2013, and aren’t fully operational for seven years!

The American people do NOT want the U.S. government to take over their healthcare! A Newsweek poll this week found that 62% of independents oppose Barack Obama’s healthcare plan; and a Rasmussen poll, also out this week, found strong opposition to the president’s health-care reform was twice as intense as strong support! NOW is the time for us to EXPOSE the Democrats’ lies, and STOP the Obamacare bill…

BUT WE CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT YOU!

Send your faxes right away to make sure every single Senator and Representative gets a STRONG message, to REJECT the socialized plan of “Obamacare” NOW — Thank you!
