Good morning!

No write today…just want to chitchat with you.

Arun: I wanted to let you know that I am still looking into it.

Mike TM: My pleasure. And I understand. It is not always easy keeping the faith when the Right so wants to do wrong. As always I look forward to your comments.

Social Butterfly:  Thanks for the blog write and for informing me and my readers of LPAC. I HOPE it had strong pull too! Oh and I will respond to FB – thanks. :)

Eva: Thanks for being such a loyal reader. I’m delighted that reading here has been so enlightening for you. I can certainly say the same for me. Good luck at Yale. And thanks for the kind words, although you give me way too much credit.

Helene: “…My party does on occasion tell a few harmless lies to get the public’s attention, , but the cause is meritorious.” Are you kidding? What world do you live in? Let me guess….Hmm..the world of faux FOX news? No answer necessary.

I love women like you who are so obviously stupid and callus. Maybe ”harmless lies” to you so what does it matter right? But you may think these “harmless lies” only affect others but no doubt you will be the one of the first screaming and kicking for health coverage, should illness visit your doorstep. How meritorious will it be then?

You can bet I am voting for the “foreigner”. And if you’re smart girl you will too. But from you ignorant comments, I’m not counting on it. PS Read Alycedale’s comment.

Speaking of…

Alycedale: I don’t know what you do for a living but if you’re not whispering in Obama’s ear, you should be. I certainly HOPE he and his people are reading, because his campaign could ride on your reasoning and logic. I applaud you and HOPE here, there, and everywhere people are listening to you and getting it.

Lawrence: You have quite the imagination. I like it.

Anne: Saw it on the news last night on the Lawrence O’Donnell show. Got a kick out of how he presented it.

Readers: Unfortunately the video cuts out the ending of his last line. But for those of you who haven’t seen it, here it is:

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

And if you want to see what Mike,MT is talking about, I am posting the video as well:

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

That’s it for me – your turn. Blog me.

Peace & Love…

Good afternoon!

I can probably count on one hand the number of times I have not been able to get on my blog in the past 5 years. Today was obviously one of them. I apologize for how frustrated you may have been. I shared that feeling with you this morning and up until now.

I am usually inspired to write something but today I feel no inspiration; just enjoying that chatter of all the comments. Some I want to address:

Lazim: You’re welcome. I too am very tired…very tired of the way women are treated throughout this world, and I am a “lucky” one, living here in the U.S. One does not need to imagine anymore. I have read and heard the stories. I HOPE that you and yours are safe.

Cindy: I thought the additions were quite nice too. Happy that I could be of service enhancing your blogging experience. And I am with ya on that one. I too am spreading out my investments. I used to think Apple was “It”.  I can’t say I am loyal to just them anymore.

Eric: Hmm…interesting. Feel free to e-me but no promises I’ll post. :)

Luc, Urte, et al: Although I don’t quite understand it all, I still find your writes fascinating, and like my readers, we always want more. I HOPE that all is well with all of you.

Readers: And since it is already so late in the day, I will consider my write done and open the floor for you to comment. Blog me.

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. Saturday Afternoon Check In

Good afternoon!

I am sorry that this is such a late post. I was able to begin my blog write for the day, but not able to finish it. My blog shut down around 8:30 AM. I had tried until 9:30 AM to get back on but had no success. And unfortunately what I had thought I had saved was obviously not saved, because when I logged on upon my return at 5:07, the only part of my blog post, was a comment that I made to Peter.

I think in light of what Anonz wrote, my gut is, my blog was shut down this morning. I could be wrong but it is rare that I can’t get on. And then I ran out of time and had to leave to attend my grandmother’s funeral, and celebration. Hence I did not have access to the internet nor a way to finish today’s write. And, from the time stamp of the last comment from this morning on yesterday’s blog post, it seems that no one else was able to get in as well.

That being said, since it is so late in the day, I am just going to end it here and HOPE that after I publish, it will be possible for you to post your comments on whatever is on your mind.

:)

Peter: Thank you. It’s always nice to see you here. HOPE is good but I agree with you, I too wish Guam had a voice in the voting process, and a clean sweep and a toss in the garbage can is my plan. I HOPE there are many others who are with me.

That’s it for me. Blog me.

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. Good morning!

Kathy: Except for the Brown snake epidemic, I really enjoyed your chronicles of Guam. Lucky you for getting to send so much time there and the chance to visit the Trench. Knowing how I love island living/weather, Guam sounds like home to me.

Social Butterfly, Zen Lill: Thank you. She was a great woman, and will be missed by all. We are celebrating her life on Saturday and I expect it to be wonderful. PS ZL: I like what you said.

Anna, Peter: Hafa Adai. So nice to hear from both of you! I realized after seeing both of your comments that it has been awhile. How is everything?

Cn: I like what you wrote. I say, “People don’t police themselves”. I think I stole that thought from Anonz. But it is so true.

SS-1: Hmm…like that quote. Unfortunately it really matters what people read, and watch on TV, and in this modern age, what they read and watch on the internet. It is amazing to me how many people watch FOX, and stupidly believe without really doing their homework. It is destructive and irresponsible at worst and lazy at best.

Ída: Following Whisper’s lead, in one word, “Yes”.

Roger, Roger, Roger…Does it not occur to you? Perhaps your wife is doing and thinking the same same thing. You know the song don’t you? Got to love it. Sometimes it makes a woman a better partner, especially when she’s getting it good and the pussy is primed.

This one’s for you:

Love the song – Diggin’ the dancing and the green suit!

Grace: Payback is a bitch isn’t it?

Brenda: I agree with the “was my best friend”. What is wrong with women who don’t share this vital information with their girlfriends? Women need to know when their so-called “man” is doing “indiscretions” behind their backs.

A note to all Girls: Be a true girlfriend and Tell TELL TELL about the LSOS!

Helen: Exactly right. Women make the biggest mistake thinking that their relationship is going to be different…that they’re going to be the one to “change him”. He wouldn’t dare cheat on me. Yeah right. You will surely be disappointed and most likely hurt.

Morgan: Well you got one thing right, I do love Obama. The only idiot in your little comment is Hasselbeck.

Trish: This topic was on my mind this morning.  So this one’s for you.

Lawrence O’Donnell Rips Newsweek’s Obama Gay Marriage Cover: America Is ‘Wicked Stupid’ (VIDEO)

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Lawrence O’Donnell ripped Newsweek on his MSNBC show Monday night for itsprovocative cover celebrating President Barack Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage.

After showing an image of Newsweek’s cover featuring Obama with a rainbow-covered halo above his head (or as one HuffPost editor fondly dubbed it—a gaylo), O’Donnell called the magazine “wicked desperate.”

“Newsweek had two headlines they were thinking of going with,” O’Donnell told his panel. “‘Please Buy This Magazine’ was one…and the other was ‘The First Gay President.’”

O’Donnell seemed to take issue with the fact that some Americans may believe Newsweek’s headline as factual statement about the president.

“We live in a wicked stupid country, okay,” O’Donnell said. “This is a country that believes, in a very substantial proportion, that Barack Obama is a Muslim. Huge number, millions and millions of people…like 30 percent, think he wasn’t born American. They think he’s Kenyan. Crazy, crazy beliefs. And Newsweek, it seems to me, has to consider the responsibility of sending out into such a collectively stupid country and stupid electorate this thing, which is the only sentence in Newsweek that most people are going to read this week – the sentence on the cover.”

O’Donnell added that the cover and headline could perpetuate more misinformation about the president. “The ‘Obama is gay’ number is now going to go up to 35 [percent],” O’Donnell said, referring to the portion of the population that could mistake Newsweek’s headline for fact.

Watch the discussion in the video above. The exchange comes at about 3 minutes into the segment.

********

NW: You may feel like you have stepped into an insane asylum, but when I read the lies, rhetoric, all-about-me, bigoted comments of “Anyone but Obama”,  I know I have.

Alycedale: Coattails. Obama needs “coattails”.

This is a good place to end. The forum is open. Blog me.

Peace out.

Good morning!

No write today. I just want to check in, say hello, and respond to a few of you.

Social Butterfly: Done. Thank you.

Danielle: I don’t know the answer and I think about that all of the time. We are the ones responsible for poisoning our own food supply. How asinine is that? We deserve what we get when we are so careless and cruel to those that give their life to sustain ours.

Frank: Sick. All in the name of bigger profits. Now look who’s getting sick.

Jeff: I don’t “select” who gets in and who doesn’t. I don’t control it, nor do I have time if I did.  It is random and luck.

Zaranj: The plight of women in this world occupy a big part of my thoughts. Where ever I can assist I will do so.

Craig: The Health Info post inspired those same thoughts. However, not with respect to me; I’m pretty happy with my weight, but we’ll see what happens to the other ex-half.

Oscar: Ah yes…the “bed privileges” – you are correct. No FWB here.

Evelyn: In case it isn’t clear,  I LOVE men of all colors, and most sizes. :)  It is the horrific things that men of any color do, that turn me off. It is the entire package that turns me on. And I don’t just mean the physical attributes.

Paul: You had me laughing out loud.

Mark: You’re welcome. And thank you. It is the readers as well that bring “class’” to this blog.

With respect to the man’s balls being squeezed to death, all of the one liners were a hoot to read. But I must give a shout out to Alycedale for the best one liner. With all of the talk on my blog for years about the little head overruling the big head, Alycedale, your comment was right on, your wit, priceless. I truly got a kick out of your comment.

And George, WN: It figures you wouldn’t get it. No one is condoning the woman for killing a man over a parking space, because the woman did not kill a man over a parking space. The man got into a physical confrontation with the woman. In other words, let me make it simple:  He “attacked” her. If it had been just words he was throwing at her, she wouldn’t have had to call her brother and father for help.

This is the kind of thing that happens all of the time with respect to women. People overlook and blame the woman for something they felt wasn’t necessary for her to do. Whose to say what one would do in her situation. He attacked herShe was the victim here; not him. What if her brother and father weren’t around to help her? Perhaps he would’ve gotten so mad and killed her, over a parking space, instead. The bottom line is, if he hadn’t attacked her, she wouldn’t have reacted to protect herself, and he’d still be alive. It’s really that simple.

Ruth: Always good to hear from you. Love you…

Zen Lill: Thanks for the welcome back wishes!

Have a beautiful Sunday everyone!

Peace & Love…
