If McCain Could Get Pregnant – Man Boobs and all!

Posted by Michelle Moquin on 16th October 2008

Okay, so McCain’s best line was, ‘If you wanted to run against President bush…blah blah blah.’ Like everyone else, I’ll give him points for that one too but that’s it. That was his only highlight for the evening. Look, Obama wouldn’t keep bringing it up if it wasn’t true – The guy voted 90% with Bush…Don’t tell me it won’t be McSame Same if he’s elected.

All I felt from him was anger and stubbornness, which only evoked my own anger, especially when he called women’s health ‘extreme’. It is obvious that McCain doesn’t seem to understand that women’s health matters. It’s obvious that he doesn’t trust women to decide what is in the best interest of their own health.  If I were his wife I would slap him in the face. I’m embarrassed for her.

Okay, so he’s against abortion; a pro lifer – fine. But don’t push your morals and your decisions on me. Don’t start talking like you have any idea what a woman goes through when she becomes pregnant. I was ready to strangle him when he so casually mentioned that ‘we’ll help with the adoption process if you don’t want the child’ or something to that affect. (Not his exact words but you get the picture.) Well what if I just don’t want to be pregnant period? Sorry that I don’t want to carry a child for nine months, just so that you can help me give it away. Sorry, I have a life and maybe I just don’t want to give it up for nine months watching my stomach grow and going through all kinds of emotions that you can never relate to. How easy it is for you to basically say, ‘carry the child and we’ll help with the adoption process’, when you have absolutely no idea what a woman goes through emotionally as well as physically. You make it sound so easy.

Okay, McCain, you carry a baby for nine months that you don’t want. You wake up to morning sickness and tender breasts. You watch parts of your body get fatter than they have ever been.  You feel all of your organs pushing up against each other making room for a growing life. You handle all of the mood swings and changes to your body not knowing if you’ll ever lose the added weight. Oh…and don’t forget, you now have man boobs! And an added bonus; they’re filled with milk! You’re craving strange foods and for some reason you just don’t feel as sexy as you used to.

Then at around nine months, you piss in your pants – oops my water broke!  It’s delivery time. Legs in the air, you begin to push that baby out of your ass (I’m using this as an example only…you’ll see why shortly) stretching you in ways you didn’t think you could stretch, feeling so much pain that you want to kill, shouting expletives to whoever put you in this position. (And yes women who have chosen to be pregnant by their significant other have felt this way too, so you can imagine the feelings of one who does not choose to be.) Then after hours of agonizing labor, you pop that baby out; have it swept from your arms to never have another thought of it again. Yeah …right.  Oh but wait….your asshole has been stretched so much that guess what? You’re shitting in your pants; you have lost control of your bowl movements. Oh…but don’t worry…a little stitch or two will tighten it up in no time and you’ll be back to ‘normal’.

Normal? Forget the fact that you never wanted this little bundle of joy, but that you can’t seem to forget about him or her. Forget that you never wanted this baby but that you bonded with it anyways while it grew inside of you. Forget that as much as you know you made the right decision for you, it still weighs on you heavily and you wonder…

Or….roll back nine months and you get to have that abortion and be done with it. Now, I know that I am making abortion sound simple when it really isn’t. I have had one and I can tell you it was an easy decision for me, although I would never want to have to go through it again. But I am sure for many others, it is difficult.  For me carrying a baby that I had no desire to have would be much harder on me, just like for the pro lifers, it would be more difficult to abort than to go through with the pregnancy.

The point is ‘choice’ and having the right to make the best ‘choice’ for yourself. When a woman is ready to have a baby, she is aware and accepts the physical changes and emotional challenges that she will encounter. She has made this ‘choice’.  But when a woman does not want a baby, and her ‘choice’ is taken away, she may have physical and emotional baggage, for lack of a better word, that she did not choose to carry. The right to choose is the way to go.

McCain will never get this. Why? Not just because it could never happen to him. But because he has blatantly shown that he has no respect for women, women issues, and women’s health.  He just doesn’t care. Period.

Readers:  I know this is a sensitive subject. Talk to me ~ blog me.

~~~~~~~~~
Hey Beingajoe:  I agree with you. I would’ve said a lot more about Palin than Obama did in the debate but then again, I’m not running for president. And I did check out those websites a bit – thanks for forwarding.
Doug: As I have said before so many times to you…Unless people do their homework, they will believe the lies as truth.
Hi Kali: Thank you. Sometimes I have a hard time finding the words too, but then I am practicing every day. :)
Hello Ling: Wow, you are trying to understand how we pick our leader and learning English too. My gut is that you may just know more than the average American.
Beverly:  Obviously money doesn’t buy everything. I hear it is just as easy to love a rich man as it is to love a poor man but I think that is just a line. Money definitely makes life easier, no doubt, but it is the emptiness and lack of connection that I could not live with regardless of whether there is money or not. When times are hard, and money is absent, it is the love and connection that will see you through the hard times. And on the other hand, I have friends who are very wealthy, and very lonely…and very stuck. I hope that you find your true love.
England: I have always wished that we could let go of this party system and get modern.  It is an antiquated system and just doesn’t work in my mind. I have always thought that we should vote on the issues and elect a president that will support those issues.
Ireland: I think you answered your own question.
Helena:  I think I’ve already said enough on this subject. :)
Hello Zen Lill:  Oh…No offense taken, just wanted to add my two and continue the convo. How’s the adrenalin today? Not only do we need to think about bigoted deep pockets, but this new news from Anonz is most disturbing…..
Anonz: Is there nothing you can do to stop this? You obviously have influence. Is there anything that I can do on my blog…or the readers? If people, meaning me and my readers, know about it beforehand, could we not flood the media with our knowledge? Surely, if word got out there who was behind this atrocity, maybe we could prevent it? I know it sounds lofty but it is very difficult hearing this come from you just to sit around waiting till d-day. And if you were to tell us the exact time, date and whereabouts on my blog, how would the government react knowing you have given this information? They are watching my blog.
What position would that put me in knowing that I have this information? Would I be willing to stand up for my country if I knew my actions could save lives and prevent McCain from living in the White House? Yes.
Readers: If Anonz provides us with the exact time, date, and whereabouts of this terrorist act, would you stand up and doing something?  This is really something I think we need to think about. I would love to hear from you on this – flood the lines ~ blog me.
OH ZL:  I am so sorry…I have been so wrapped up in my own stuff and this darn election that I can not wait to end! I just had to come back and add….Happy Birthday!!
Quote of the week from a man out of touch.
Posted by michellemoquin on 16th September 2008
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7CRDSZ3Pl4&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&fs=1]
So…how’s everyone doing out there? I am particularly asking those that have been struck by yesterday’s financial disaster:
‘The Dow Jones industrial average lost more than 500 points, more than 4 percent, its steepest point drop since the day the stock market reopened after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.  About $700 billion evaporated from retirement plans, government pension funds and other investment portfolios.’
Lehman brothers has filed the largest bankruptcy in American history and Merrill Lynch was rescued by Bank Of America. And one man says the economy is doing great. Ahhh…okay.
Although Greenspan says this is the worse economy he has even seen,  McCain has the audacity to say that the fundamentals of the economy are still strong. Wha’at?!  What planet is he on?….And more succinctly as Obama asked, Sen. McCain, what economy are you talking about?’ Yeah, what economy is he talking about?  The economy of the top 4%; the big wig earners?  Certainly not the everyday average person, and certainly not all of the people whose retirements plans and pension funds have evaporated.
Open your eyes. What world does McCain live in? Does he not realize that inflation is rising, real wages are declining, and that people are still foreclosing on their homes?  Oh yeah…remember, he said that he was ‘out of touch’
‘It’s easy for me to be in Washington and frankly be somewhat divorced from the day-to-day challenges people have.’
-Sen. John McCain
If you ask me, there is no excuse for him to be out of touch. Not while he’s in the running for the presidential position. I bet McCain wishes he never opened his mouth on that one. Well, we can certainly count on a few more ‘priceless and enlightening quotes’ for the text books…He didn’t lie when he said the economy isn’t something he understands as well as he should. You got that right John. You’ve proven that.
Sen. McCain, what more will you reveal to us in the coming weeks?
Readers:  Any of you hit personally by this? Comments? Thoughts? Rants? Blog me.
Are you wired for sex?
Posted by michellemoquin on 31st August 2008
Talk about taking the romance and spontaneity out of sex…not to mention getting a bit tangled in the cord….there is a new device for women out there all in the name of better sex. Better? Well like I said the cord might get in the way but if a more intense orgasm is what you’re seeking, this little device may be for you. Now before you get excited, this orgasm aid won’t give you one, sorry you’ll need your other play toy, either the ‘man’ or the ‘vibrator’ for that ‘area’,  but when you’re ready to start moaning,  you might end up screaming. Hmm…I’m starting to like this.
Not sure I buy it though, but this is how it works:
Just hook up the electrode pads of the ‘Slightest Touch’ to your ankles  (Yes both of them – Oh, this is getting quite complicated.) and when it’s your ‘turn’, you’ll get an extra boost in that pleasure zone: A painless electrical pulse travels up the leg’s nerve pathways to the pelvis, creating peak arrousal. Supposedly ‘Slightest Touch’  multiplies, intensifies, and basically improves your climaxes. Okay…now we’re talkin’. Believe it or not this started out as a failed prototype for a foot massage.  Hmm…I wonder what they were doing while testing out this foot massage? Oh…but we’re not done here. You need to do one more little thing before you actually engage in sex using this sex aid: They suggest…downing one of those sport drinks. You’ve got to be kidding – Really? Now, this is just getting too weird.
What happened to just good ‘ol straight, kinky sex? Well I guess if your orgasms aren’t thrilling you and leaving you totally satisfied, or if  they haven’t been making you moan and shudder in ecstasy, this little device just might come in handy. Or perhaps…you need to work on your sex life with your mate…or as a last resort, find a new man. But for me, no.  I think I’ll stick to the basics…besides, I’ve never been good with cords….Silk scarves? Now we’re talkin’ :)
But hey, if this sounds like something you would enjoy, it might be worth it. For a hundred bucks you’re guaranteed to have the most incredible orgasms you have ever had, or your money is fully refunded. Okay, so maybe it is worth a try eh? If you purchase one – Blog me – I’d love to hear if it really works. :)
Hi Anon, Doug, ZL: Oh I wish this was a joke. I agree with all of you, and the more I learn about this woman, the more I think, this is preposterous. Is McSame going insane? And why isn’t anyone questioning his sanity – or are they?
Anon, thanks for bringing up her animal tactics. I was aware of her hunting activities but not about the bounty on wolf legs. This makes me ill.  I had to dive deeper and see what the heck is up with this woman in this area. Stay tuned.
Hello Fatemeh:  Thanks for the personal email. Again, no apologies are necessary. I understand; it is a very sensitive subject. Peace.
Women Across The World Speak Out
Posted by michellemoquin on 26th August 2008
Good Morning. Today is a mish mash of thoughts…
I just received a comment from Fatemeh on my article: ‘Killing in the name of honor’. Fatemeh is an author on a wordpress blog called: Muslimah Media Watch.  Fatima, her fellow author, has written a few articles about ‘honor killing’.  I found them pretty interesting…Perhaps you will too.
Hello Fatemeh: It seems that you and your fellow authors and readers perspective of ‘honor Killing’ are a bit different, a bit more gentle, when it comes to the Muslim men than the Muslim women that left many comments on my blog that day, including the one yesterday from Ali. (Ali:Thanks for chiming in) Have you read? You somewhat defend the Muslim man.  Now I am not saying that all Muslim men are how Ali described them, They are men of small character. They are basically men who have contributed nothing significant to the world. They are the most ignorant group of men on the planet. They are the men who whine the most about the least. They practice a cult that gives them the power to pimp, enslave, and rape their female women and children at will.’  She said more but I think you get my point.
But in regards to the term ‘honor killing’, I do agree that it is a form of domestic violence, but I have to agree with your commentator ‘Forsoothsayer’: while i don’t think that all incidents of domestic violence involving Muslims are honour killings, it is true that women are not being killed because of honour related reasons by any other communities I’ve heard of.’  She has a point here.
And as far as Fatima’s description of Muslim women being set up to look like timid, submissive, brainwashed children’, yes I think the media will and have presented Muslim women as such but I think no such thoughts of Muslim women that way. In fact I think that Muslim women are some of the toughest, smartest women. You would have to be to put up with all of the control etc. I am being ‘nice’ here…I don’t need to go into the characteristics of Muslim male behavior – we all know.
In regards to Ajay Nair’s comments…he is a Muslim man yes? Need I say more?
I will end with that I do agree that violence towards women is not just reserved for Muslim women, but an issue we must address as it is happening to many women in different cultures around the world. I agree with Fatima, it is EXTREMELY important that we recognize that abuse of women is happening in all cultures. Not sure if you read any articles that I wrote following the ‘honor killing’ article, but I have addressed the atrocities that are happening to women in Darfur and Congo as well, and if you continue to read my blog you’ll see that my rants aren’t over yet.  Women need to be heard and I am shouting loudly.
Women….any readers: Thoughts?
*************
Speaking of women…did you hear Michelle Obama’s speech last night at the DNC?  I did. I loved it. I was so inspired by the way she talked about change, hope, women, etc.  She moved me to a few tears. It wasn’t too over the top or overly dramatic; just honest, open and friendly.  She connected to everyone by relating that her and Barack’s upbringing is that of the average American’s upbringing. I loved that she felt so grounded and approachable…someone that I could see myself easily getting into a conversation with and feeling totally comfortable. I think she did a great job, and I was proud to see her up there in her glory. They represent the American dream for many. Too funny that Rachel Maddow from MSNBC kept calling the Obama’s, ‘The Huxtables’. I love that woman’s quick-tongue reporting style.
On a more serious note…The Wall Street poll stated that 1 out of 5 women who were on the bandwagon for Hillary are claiming that they are going to vote for McCain.  And ABC’s poll stated that one third of the Clinton supporters are either undecided or they’re voting for McCain.  How one, especially women, can go from Hillary to McCain baffles me.  Let’s hope Michelle’s speech will influence and inspire them to vote for Obama. Hey, maybe they’ll pull a “Bradley Effect” and flip sides in the booth…This time, and for the first time, the change of minds will be beneficial for the Democrats.
Oh…and loved Michelle’s quote, ‘This time…we listen to our hopes instead of our fears.’  We’ve been motivated by fear from the administration for too long. It is a time of hope and I think everyone feels it…we’re ready for change.  In the bigger picture…it is ‘randomness looking for order…’, and Obama happens to be ‘order’.
Ah…one more thing…
Readers:  You know that I love getting comments from all of you.  I only have one request:  Please, although I am given a heads up when a comment is posted, it would be much more fun and interactive for everyone if you my dear readers, who want to make a comment on my past articles, to please post your comment on the present day.  Just reference the title and date of the article in your comment  and that way other readers besides myself can be in on the conversation and we can keep it contemporary.  I will be adding this request to the left hand column in the Blog Rules of Conduct for your future reference. I hope that everyone will comply as it keeps everyone in the loop..and you have to admit, you don’t want to be left out of the loop! – Understood?  Anyone want to bitch about this – blog me.
Okay biz done.
Have a beautiful day!
Gratefully your blog host,
